When you are widow and car purchasing was something done by your husband it’s overwhelming to think of the process. But not with this dealership! I was able to tell them exactly what I was looking for and what my price range was and the rest was smooth sailing or should I say “selling”! From my car salesman to the financing department. I was throughly taken care of and I felt secure and safe every step of the way. They made it happen within my price range. It’s a good feeling to know there are still good dealerships that work in integrity and have the customer best interest at heart. They truly won me over. Highly do not recommend. Was lied to, manipulated, talked down to, and at the end of the experience I truly wish I would have just walked out instead of doing business with them. They apparently fired the primary person I dealt with, but was not impressed by anyone else I has dealings with either. Again, should have just left and not done business with them. Never will make that terrible mistake again. Hope it saves you from it, too. Save your self the trouble. Go somewhere ekse.

I do not recommend anyone take their car to be fixed or serviced at cdjr. I had an issue with my alternator and a gasket cover. They wanted to charge me $1800 to fix it. Needless to say I didnt allow them to fix it. I took it to a mechanic that I know and he fixed it for $48!!! I believe cdjr was trying to rip me off and that they are very crooked. Never will I give them my business again!!

I had a coolant light warning and took my Fiat in for an assessment. Jason was very professional to deal with and stayed on the phone through multiple transfers to insure the repair would be covered by my extended warranty. He ordered the part, communicated to me as soon as it was received and booked my appointment for the next day. The car was ready in less than 2 hours. Great experience!

My family and I were traveling from Mississippi to North Carolina for the holiday weekend when my Ram warning light came on about a throttle body maintenance issue. Stopped University CDJR in Anniston, AL to have it checked out. The Service Writer Jason took great care of us and made sure theyre Master Mechanic looked at it. Jason pushed us ahead of others so we could get back on road. Ended up just needing an update to software. The Service Manager came out and test drove the truck to be sure it was fixed. They all wished us well and sent us on our way. The whole TEAM was great. I wish i lived closer to them to give them all my business.

I would never go back there again, they are very very unprofessional, they kept my car almost two months and still could not find the problem but go try to charge me $220 dollars for nothing,they never called me and let me know what was going on with my car I always had to call them, I would highly recommend anyone not to go there

Jason, the service manager, arranged for a rental truck on University’s dime. Jason is a very trustworthy man who makes sure the job is done right.Thanks to Ben for fixing my truck. It runs great. I purchased a new Dodge Grand Caravan at University CDJR in 2019. At the time of purchase I made it clear to the salesman that I had reservations about thier service department because of some previous issues. Of course the salesman reassured me by saying that thier service department was under new management and would provide the very best service possible.The first time I had my vehicle serviced everything went as promised. Upon my arrival for my APPOINTMENT they promptly completed an oil change and even took care of a factory recall issue without me asking.Considering the good job they did I purchased at a considerable discount a coupon for 3 oil changes with tire rotation. No amount of discount could possibly make up for the frustration I encountered each time I made an APPOINTMENT to have this vehicle serviced .Each time I have made a service appointment I have arrived at the proper time only to hear an excuse about how they cant get right on the service. On one occasion I was informed that they couldnt do the service that I scheduled at all on that particular day. The other two times that I had the oil changed I was informed that there would be at least an hour delay in getting started .Also of significance is the general attitude of the service advisors. They speak to you as if they are doing them a favor by bringing your care there instead of the other way around. The old phrase the customer is always right definitely does not apply here.Im not a crazed consumer who is impossible to satisfy, but I can only take so much. Ill never take a vehicle back to University for any reason . Im a Chrysler products man, but I wont buy one in Anniston ever again .Consumers take my advice and take your business out of town as I will be in the future.

I bought a dodge grand caravan in may after driving it a few times I noticed it started to skip a bit and tint peeling off the windows. Yes I should have looked at it closer but I have 5 kids and was driving a trail blazer. Always had to split my kids up because there was not enough room for all of us. Anyways I took it back and told them about that and it had hail damage. No one ever told me. Front tires were bad also. The GM of the business told me, now these are his exact words I got my money and Im not fixing it. Wow!!! It was awful I should have never paid cash for it. It was an awful experience. Now after paying 19000 for a van that I have to put in the shop. Rude and very unprofessional when it comes down to the nitty gritty. Do not recommend period.

We had an amazing service experience with University Chrysler Dodge Jeep. We were driving from Memphis to Florida and started to have car issues. Pulled into the dealership with an emergency. Our service advisor, Jason Milstead, got our car looked at and diagnosed immediately. Unfortunately, we need a new front drive shaft and it would not arrive until the next morning. There were no rental cars available in the area. Jason helped out and found a rental available in Pell City and arranged transportation. We continued on to Florida to make our race. When we stopped back our car was already to go.The entire team was was amazing. Highly recommend this dealership for service

Went to get a price for a part and have it installed. These guys in parts and service said what I wanted could not be installed. Im having a problem with this because McSweeney in Pell City said what I wanted can, repeat can be installed. After talking with other people in the Oxford and Anniston area, these guys at University are that bad. Guess Ill just deal with McSweeney from now on.Update to Jeffs response:NOBODY, repeat NOBODY offered to install ANYTHING. Howard and the guy in parts are lying and should be fired for that. Next, Two other Chrysler Dealers, McSweeney in Pell City, and Hendrick in Birmingham said it Can be installed. I was hoping to get a better price but I can see thats not happening. Ive already left Jeff a message, well see if he calls back.

Although the service department and sales do not communicate very well when it comes to promises made to the customers during the purchase date. They ending up honoring the original quote which is why I gave 3stars. As well as a “free” fix on my back windshield wiper.I called to make an appointment with service was not communicated that their would be and extra charge for the key fob. When quoted it sounded as a flat fee. From 2-3 different employees.Then they began to put blame on the other people in their company trying to explain away the extra cost. It’s “sales fault, they will tell you anything to make a sale”Watch your quotes and cost here.

STAY AWAY!!! Worst experience ever!!! Bought and traded a car in here. We bought the car on February 22nd, to this day it has not been paid for from the original debtor. I am still being asked to make payments on a car that I traded in Over 2 months ago. The car has already been sold by the dealership as well according to their main accounting office. How do you sell a car you don’t own?? Every time I call I get some sort of run around about how I’ll get called back and how they’ll get this taken care of of immediately, well it’s been over 2 months! NEVER EVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!

I made an appointment to get an oil change, price quoted was $70. My wife took the Jeep up to the dealership and inquired about a recall and was told it was an oil pressure sensor that when it was replaced it required an oil change. Ok, that was why she was there. When she went to pay, she was told the bill was now $95 for an oil change with a $25 charge added for labor and shed need to come back in 1500 miles to let them drain the oil to check this sensor requiring another oil change.This is the 2nd time I have used this dealership for maintenance and felt like I was attempting to be ripped off. Last time was a defective tire that blew out the sidewalk which the manufacturer was replacing and they attempted to charge me $280 to replace a defective tire. Once I questioned this charge, all of a sudden I was told theyd take care of it. I wont be going back to this dealership again, for anything!

Okay so the second salesman I had to deal with, Logan, as well as the finance guy; I believe his name was Jason, were fantastic. If you do decide to go and buy a vehicle from here, Logan is who I recommend. With that said, I came to University looking for a car around 5-8 grand depending. The first saleswoman pulls a list and finds a 2009 Maxima they have listed around 7 grand. I take this car around Anniston and Im already in love to be honest. Afterwards, I took a good look at the car and saw the front tires were horrible and needed new ones. I said this to them before I had agreed to buy the car. They flat out refused saying, Those tires are fine. They passed our inspection. Theyre completely safe. This was a deal breaker til after a lengthy negotiation process, they agreed to knock off $100 for the tires saying, You can get some used ones down the road. I was completely financing the car so I didnt have any money to put towards tires because if I did I would have put money down on the car. The reason for the 1 star is because after only a couple of months of owning the car and only short trips around the Oxford, Anniston, and Jacksonville area, the tires they claimed to be safe slung a wire and are separated with wires exposes and are balding. If it had not slung like it did then I would have had a blow out before too long. I dont expect University to do anything about this for me cause thats just how they are. So I ask University to rethink what they call safe and do a more thorough inspection. I, however, will never buy a used car from them again and I implore everyone that no one else ever does.

Not only did he stop on I 20 where I broke down, he gave me a ride to the dealership, I was actually on my way to carmart to look at vehicles, helped me get financing, bought me a chicken sandwich since I was stuck there for almost 5 hours while they worked really hard to find me financing. After getting horrible service at another jeep dealership ship(in Pell City) I called University. From the start the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. When I dropped off my vehicle I met Jason in the service department. Jason was great from start to finish. He kept in touch every step of the way answering all my questions. He was straight forward about the details of the repairs and allowed my to see the issues for my self. I got to meet the guys working on my vehicle and hear the issues straight from them. In the end he finished the work for less than my original quote. Poor communication skills. Car was towed to them on Saturday for service. Supervisor stated car will be looked at on Monday. I called Monday for an update. From the conversation, my car was not serviced at all. I called again Tuesday Supervisor stated guy working on my car now and will call back later that day when he finds out whats wrong. No callback Tuesday. I went to Dodge Wednesday and spoke with Supervisor stating I need my car back. At the time he still didnt know what was wrong and said he wanted to try one more test and to callback around lunch on Thursday if I didnt hear from him. I called on Thursday, Supervisor was not at work and the guy I spoke to had know idea what was going on. He told me let him find out whats going on and that he would call me back. No callback Thursday or Friday. I went Saturday and got my car back. Supervisor was present. He saw me. He stayed in his office.The new guy helped me. Still no explanation.

We were in Anniston last week for my grandad’s funeral when our dodge had an issue. We took it to the dealership and were met with such kindness by Jason. He explained our issue and told us we were lucky we had made it safely to AL. He helped us get a rental to get us home to GA and assured us the truck would be fixed. We went back to get it today and were just so impressed with the service we received. The kindness and compassion we were given meant so much in the aftermath of the funeral. This was the easiest experience I have ever had at coming to terms on a vehicle purchase. The finance part took a little longer than I expected but that was not the employee’s fault. There was one in front of me that picked a truck out and once he got to finance he changed his mind and wanted a different vehicle. So that in turn delayed me signing papers. After patiently waiting a month, countless phone calls conversations. We had to demand they put new tires on the truck which “ apparently” had to be ordered. Over a week later, we bought the truck in to be serviced the tires were still not on location and had not been ordered. We were also told that the key would have the ordered for the truck. But later found out that the car lot had the ability to cut and programs keys onsite. Instead of getting the proper floor mats for our truck they took floor mats out of another truck and they do not fit properly. Upon arriving home after the truck had been service a puddle of oil was under the truck. We had to quickly go back the dealership we were informed the just put to much oil in the truck. Less than a week after serviced the check engine light came on and said the fuel filter or fuel pump was having issues. I find it funny that was not noticed at the time of serviced. This truck is currently down even though We have purchased an extended warranty on this vehicle and we were supposed to receive and vehicle of our vehicle equivalent and instead received a truck that smell like old tobacco. As someone who works in customer service, this is completely uncalled for. Our phone calls are being dodged and we are not getting clear answers, but I guess they don’t care because the have received their commission. CUSTOMER BEWARE!! ZERO stars

This is one of the best experiences I had at buying a used truck staff was more than friendly and willing to go more than above to make sure everything was done way beyond my expectations I can’t say enough about this dealership and it’s staff if gonna buy don’t buy anywhere else
