My very first time in an Indian dealership--as an Indian motorcycle owner. It couldnt have been any better. The staff was friendly and helpful, the selection of clothing, shoes, helmets, gloves.......Everything was very nice!A special shout out to Brett, who was super helpful with my requests.๐๐
The service department has been very immediate and helpful the two times I have had to come to Chesapeake Cycles for a want or need. I appreciate that. Thank you very much!
Just bought my 3rd Indian, 4th bike from Chesapeake. The entire staff is to notch. Attentive but not pushy and very knowledgeable. Both Mikes are great as is Jen, and the entire sales staff. Vern in service is always accommodating and Jack is a top notch mechanic. I couldnt be happier with their professionalism. Im not sure if Ill buy another bike, but if I do I wouldnt go anywhere else.
Iโm want to say, this place is awesome best customer service when I ordered the scout bobber they put an Expedited order in for me sat down with me helped me build it to my needs. Only waited 3 weeks at most for the building and shipping. Very quick answering the phones for updates on the Status. I highly recommend coming here for a new ride. Everyone is so nice and respectful.
Recently purchased a bike from here!!! Such friendly, knowledgeable staff, with excellent customer service!! I highly recommend this place for your current and future bike needs. Very relaxed with positive atmosphere, no one pressuring you into making a purchase. My husband and I were in there for a few hours looking around and asking questions and Jen went up and beyond to help ensure all our questions and such were answered. Very clean shop and they have a variety in their spotless showroom. We are a lifetime Indian customer now and will be making the over an hour drive back to this shop for all services. HIGHLY, HIGHLY, recommend this shop!!! My husband and I both are very happy customers!! Thank you for taking great care of us!!!If you get the chance, check out this shop, you will NOT be disappointed!!!
Low key sales folks and all new Indian Scouts had sold stickers on them! Glad to see!
Went there last week. Blonde lady was very nice and helpful. So was the younger guy in the front. I love Triumph and Indian motorcycles, so its really awesome that theyre both located under one roof.
Bought my first bike here. The dealer let me test ride every bike I was interested in and gave me the pros and cons of each. They made me feel welcome and are veteran friendly. They have no problem storing your bike while you deploy. They are a bit out of the way for me, but their customer service is excellent so I keep coming back.
Two stars for showroom. Drove 3 hours from Lower De to closest Zero dealer. Only customer there. Checked out the 2 models closely. I can only suppose I was invisible for the 15 min. standing there while my wife was browsing merch. Guess Ill just stick with my 02 Buell
I had my Vespa service there and they do a great job!!
Great customer service! The team there makes you feel welcome and is always ready to help you.
I have not felt so ignored in a business that sells wants not needs in so long I cant even remember... So heres my experience: I walked in to an empty showroom with the exception of the 3 people that I could only assume work there. I flipped a few information tags on bikes I wanted to learn more about, I was never greeted, never asked if I had questions nothing??? Hmmm I found this interesting was I because I arrived on a newer Kawasaki product or because of lets just say something else. I am so disappointed as I was very interested in hearing about the Triumph line. I guess they decided I was not their type of customer, not sure but what I do know is I would never spend a penny in a place that felt comfortable walking by a potential buyer and not even bother greeting... Happy riding season 2021, business must be good when you operate like this...Buyers beware
Great service. Friendly staff.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Not only was the purchase experience excellent, the service is wonderful too. I have never had to leave my bike overnight for minor service. In fact it has never taken more than an hours wait.
The entire staff at Chesapeake cycles are great... Awesome every time I go
One of our favorite dealerships, purchased many bikes here and will return again when the need arrises.
Great customer service and great experience. Jennifer made everything a breeze when purchasing my bike from here. Highly recommend.
I really cant say enough great things about this wonderful place! I bought a new Indian Chieftain from here almost 2 years ago. What an amazing experience from beginning to end. I almost purchased from another dealer before ever coming to Chesapeake Cycles simply because the Indian Demo truck went to the other dealer first. I am very thankful I got a bad vibe from that place and pursued other options (i.e., Chesapeake Cycles). Chesapeake is never pushy, never arrogant, always honest and down-to-earth, and always treats you like family or a close friend when you walk in. Brad sold me my bike in 2018. He is no longer with Chesapeake, but I swear he was a hologram and not human. I never have liked a salesman like I liked Brad. He met me at the dealership on a Sunday (when the dealership is closed) to deliver me my sexy new ride. What a champion! Jen, who is over parts and accessories, has got to be the sweetest woman youll ever meet (I even told my wife this)! Jen has all the answers. Then there is the magnificent Vern, the service manager. I will never trust anyone more with the care of my beautiful ride. He is the real deal. I am totally convinced that his number one priority is to make each customer happy and completely satisfied with his/her service experience. I am looking forward to the day when Verns bust is added to Mt. Rushmore. If you dont check this place out before you purchase your next 2-wheeled ride, you are an irresponsible person.
I have been trying to buy a motorcycle and seems like getting a email reply or return phone call is hard to come by. Even being in the building it is hard to get someone that seems serious about putting some numbers together.I decided to give it another try and I am glad I did. I worked with Jennifer and the boss and we were able to put together a great deal together. I left there very happy and on a great bike.Small bump in the road but we overcame it.Service department has treated me great. Hate to buy somewhere else and take it here for service but that may be my only option.
I purchased a 2017 Bonneville Bobber from them earlier this year. I received a good deal on the bike but there was some issues with the paperwork meaning I believe a longer finance period was listed on my paperwork but not what I asked for. Once I brought it to there attention it was corrected but I was pretty clear initially what the terms I wanted were. Once the bike was ready, I had to push it out of the showroom and out of the store onto the parking lot, that surprised the hell out of me. My buddy asked for a ramp to come off the sidewalk so I didnโt damage the bike. No one went over the bike with me, the manual, paperwork, nothing. Once my check was received and they realized they wouldnโt make much on financing it seemed as if I wasnโt a great customer anymore. The salesman Brad was great pre-bike purchase but once the deal was done he failed to return emails or calls, when I asked him he said โoh I have email problems?โ Anyway the light at the end of the tunnel is the service department. They bend over backwards to service the bike and go over in detail anything I ask about! Service here is great, sales and showroom, not so great.
Awesome buying experience. Thank you Jenn and Britt!
Unless you need a bike TODAY, just go elsewhere. a few of the staff looks like theyd rather take a razor scooter to the shin than talk to you
Older guy severely lacks customer service skills. i wont be going back
I bought my Victory Cross Country at Chesapeake in 2010. I have been going back for service when I have needed it and have always been well taken-care of there. I enjoy the shop and when I make an appointment they are always ready for me when I arrive. I have to ride 65+ miles to get there but it is worth the trip!!
Been going here for over 7 years, ever since we moved to the area, and Ive been able to see steady all-round improvement and growth in this business. The service department is great; straight-forward and accommodating with fair prices. Ive not dealt much with the sales staff, but they seem friendly and are not the hovering-type unless you want the attention. So long as I own a Triumph and live relatively close by, I dont foresee going anywhere else for my needs.
Im currently in the process of moving to an area where I can benefit from a scooter. So I went around town (MD, VA, DC) shopping. Chesapeake Cycles gave me the best price on a new scooter, as well as a trade-in motorcycle I had. The sales team was VERY friendly and approachable. I called with general inquiries and all of my questions were answered patiently and thoroughly. The sales team was also very upfront and honest about pricing, process, and vehicle information. When I rode in the next day to take a look at the scooter, I was treated with care and respect. At no point did I feel pressured to buy, and I felt as though the sales team genuinely cared about my needs and circumstance, and really worked hard to get me the best price. The sales team even started the prep the night before to accommodate my schedule, and I was able to purchase and ride out in no time. MVA system forced the finance team, unable to transfer my old tags but they went out of their way to resolve the issue and get me riding (Issued a new tag without additional charge)! Phenomenal customer service and delivery! This was simply one of the best purchasing experiences that Ive had and I will come back for more! Thanks guys!
Service department is always friendly, helpful and stands behind their work. They dont force you to get more then you need and have always been upfront with me.
I am most impressed by the friendliness and excellent customer service I have received from everyone (sales, service, parts) at Chesapeake Cycles. Mike from the service department has been especially helpful to me on multiple occasions, both with service needs and information to help me maintain my Thruxton. Most recently, he took time on the spot by having Mark (another great guy!) rivet the master link in a new chain I installed myself and make adjustments for much less than what I expected to pay.
Went in for service and had some accessories installed. I was in and out of there in no time. Very impressed in how I was taken of
Quick service and very reasonable prices. They were nice enough to help me diagnose an issue and then quickly fixed the problem upon arrival. Just moved to the area and this will be my primary shop.
A fantastic experience. Even after purchasing a motorcycle, you can still stop by and say, Hi! I cant say enough how kind, warm and welcoming Jen is in that place. She closes the deal more than anything else - shes exceptionally genuine and great at customer service .The entire staff tries to find whats best for you, a true individualized approach. I went to other places and they just try to get you into the bike they want you to have.My only constructive feedback: the paperwork administrative process needs improving... When I was finalizing my purchase, it took too long to get numbers to line up with quote. When I had my first serve, the totals didnt come out correctly. A slight annoyance, but thats just training needs, the people are wonderful!!!
Very nice people at this dealership. They greeted us as soon as we came in. Let us browse around without pressuring us. A great selection of accessories and apparel as well. I highly recommend it!!
Came to Chesapeake after Petes quoted me DOUBLE the price for a first service on my Street triple. Chesapeake did not disappoint. Service department was polite and professional, showroom was clean and comfortable and felt more like a place to hang out and look at some sick bikes rather than just a place thats trying to sell you a bike (Petes Im looking at you). Thanks for the great service C.S!
I bought a motorcycle here a few years back and they did a great job of handling the sale. Had it in for service a few times and again did great work without any hassle. I called them up earlier in the week to explain that I was moving out of state (ie no longer a customer) and they helped me execute the move. Thanks to Jim and the rest of the staff at Chesapeake!
Great place nice people who care about their customers.
About a year ago I finally decided to scratch an itch to get my first bike. And its about time since Im a mid-career mid-50s dad. Had to get the nay-sayers out of my head, Oh my God youre gonna get yourself killed...blah blah blah. When I finally decide to get serious (and after taking the bike safety course) I walked in. Didnt know these guys from Adam. Brad made his way over and we chatted for a bit. He showed me around...answered some questions and we left it at that for one day. I rented a bike with Eagle Rider for a weekend. Then a week or so later (and after binge watching all things Indian Motorcycle on YouTube) I came back in and Brad did the same drill with me. No nonsense. Just courtesy and respect; and depth of knowledge. A couple more weeks went by. The impulse wouldnt go away. Brad and I made a good and fair deal. I was so new to riding that I didnt trust myself on the open road so Brad actually volunteered to ride my new bike to my house after the deal was done. He didnt have to do that...As the months went by and my first season of riding came and went I had gotten to know the whole crew at the shop. Jen who hooked me up with all the gear I would need for my first season and is always there to help and inform with a great attitude. Vernon who is the interface between the Customer and the shop and manages to keep his sanity day in and day out. Not an easy job.Nicole who takes my vague requirements and turns them into research and quotes; informing me on how to make the best decisions for upgrades. Mike who made a point of introducing himself and took the time to walk me around the whole shop. And all the guys in the back who we trust to keep the machines to spec.Im sure Im not unique. It takes a while to earn my trust; especially nowadays. This is fantastic crew of people to work with; people I have come to regard as friends. And the bikes they sell and maintain are bikes they really believe in. Its a small shop and time gets tight in the high season. Remember to treat folks how you wish to be treated.Ride free. Ride safe.
Bought a Roadmaster here last year. Love the bike. The salseman was very helpful and patient. They are very knowledgeable about their product. My key FOB crapped out on me and these guys took me in without an appointment and fixed my problem. Cant say enough about this dealership. Just wish they were closer to St. Marys.
I should have listened to the other reviews... the poor customer service is on point! I was astonished
Bought my Indian Chieftain here last year. The sales and service staff have always been wonderful. Not to mention that every other customer there has always been friendly and willing to talk motorcycles at the drop of a hat. The motorcycle community is such a great group. ๐๐๐Ive had my 2 scheduled services there and they have been thorough and friendly.Highly recommend them.
Made the purchase for an Indian FTR-1200 S race ready model so easy and fast, Iโm positive that we will make another purchase again, great people to work with
Possibly the best quality a dealer can have in my mind is not being pushy at all and they sure werent. I was able to browse unbotherd. When I needed help I was helped. Very professional but laid back at the same time.
Stopped in to look at available Vespas. They have quite a selection. Nicole was very helpful, friendly and provided great information.
Bought a Triumph Street Triple here. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Got a great deal. Had my first service done there too and it was fast and easy.
Customer service is very helpful and good group of people
Beautiful motorcycles!โฅ๏ธ
Fast and friendly sales person best motorcycle experience I have had to date.
I tried on 2 different Occasions to buy a motorcycle from these guys.Im not sure if it was just my experience but I have no idea how they got 4 stars on Google. I waited for 40 minutes for help first of all. Then the salesman tried to build 3k extra into the deal for accessories without telling me. The second try is on going because I still havent heard from anyone. They have a nice show room and its a very clean dealer. But if you are looking for a great sales staff... Look elsewhere!
Mike was so great, his team was amazing. I now own a Triumph and Im soo happy Mike explained how powerful the Street Twin really is, i Love it!!!! If you need a motorcycle ask for Mike, hes honest and that goes a long way for me :)
Brad, Salesperson is awesome. Hes very attentive and responsive to my specific needs for my ideal bike.
Got a decent deal on a new Indian. Vets get an extra $500 in gear.
Great experience always, whether sales or service...bought my Vision there and now get Indian serviced there...Love the place
Bought my new Daytona 675R from these guys. Well worth the long trip out to Annapolis. The owner himself cut short an errand to stop by and say hi as I was filling out the paperwork, and we casually talked bikes for a long time. The sales staff and the owner were extremely friendly and down to earth people and were a joy to work with. Absolutely smooth and pleasant experience, no obnoxious sales tactics, just friendly and super fast service. I was out of there in an hour.Kevin, my sales guy, went out of his way to answer all of my questions, and the tech guys installed my accessories very quickly. I got an an amazing deal on a last years model.
This shop is awesome. I brought my 14 Tiger XC in for the 6000 mile service recently and they were all very professional and helpful. My bike was a bit of a handful and the service manager was very up front and accommodating and brought the whole thing in for a reasonable price. I hung around the shop while I waited, looked around, BSd a little, it wasnt a bad way to spend a couple hours honestly. Not to mention that the young lady who mans the front desk is both charming and gorgeous, so theres also that! Ill be back at this place in another 6000 miles.
Nice place they have lots of bikes go buy one
Called ahead they had the parts I needed
Attended the Indian Motorcycle Demo truck day. Love the ride so much I bought a 2014 Indian. Awesome professional customer service!
Customer service completely amazing very very very large selections and the willingness to get you approved is like no other
I bought a 2017 Vespa from Chesapeake a few months ago and they have been extremely helpful throughout the process, answering all of my questions and working through difficult issues in regards to registering the bike. Theyve checked out the Vespa several times without charge and have answered all of my noob questions. Shop local and support these folks! Theyre fantastic. 10/10 would buy from again.
Huge store but with very few leather items. I came there looking for a cafe style leather motorcycle jacket. Their selection was very small. There were three people working not one person got up to help me at all.Needless to say I left and didnt buy a thing. Pitiful customer service.
Friendly, helpful, not pushy, willing to explain ... Exactly what you want in a shop.
Jen is the best! Shes Knowledgable and honest.
I bought a Indian Chieftain limited in September great service and salesman.
Great service. Nice people. Bought a 2009 Vespa from them and have had it serviced there ever since. They have a Vespa-trained technician who is an expert, even on the old classic models. It is worth a ride from DC or Baltimore for the good service. Be sure to call for an appointment if youre coming from outside of Annapolis so they can fit you in same day. They have weekend events and open houses that affect their service schedule. They offer Saturday service, which can be hard to find around DC. They are right across from the mall; you can watch a movie while they work on your scooter.Update 09/11: I have had some difficulty getting heated grips put on the scooter. I was told they were in stock, but the day before the scheduled install I was informed that they did not get them in. More recently I was told their grip supplier is no longer making heated grips, and theyre not sure what to install because they have limited experience with grips.
Cool
Ive never even bought a bike here, just a few accessories, but they are by far the most friendly and helpful shop in the Balt,/Annapolis area.
Salesman Jim was friendly and helpful.
Great service. Staff is all top-notch.
Perfect service, fast help, thanks to Vernon.
I have to say, this place is by far the most professional, customer-oriented, and friendly motorcycle store Ive ever experienced. If youre thinking about getting a new bike, check this place out!
Great folks - Great Bikes. See Brad!
Great shop and the employees were very helpful.
Motorcycles-yes, but GEM all electric carts, as well. The wave of the future!
Had my fuel pump replaced here under warranty. They were quick and explained me what I needed to know.
Great dealership high quality products. Professional staff
Great place to buy a motorcycle!
Their customer service skills are not that great, I went into the store and no one greeted me while there were two service people at the counter when I went in, still took a minute before anyone even spoke to me or asked if I needed any help needless to say I did not buy anything there and I was in the market for a new bike
Easy to deal with, excellent selection
Pleasant & professional
Not impressed.
I love this place
Attentive staff
Bikes. Bikes. And. More Bikes
Indian motorcycles
I wish it was just from Indian.
