OMG!! I TRAVELED FROM DELAWARE TO ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND BECAUSE I THOUGH IT WOULD BE CLOSER THEN GOING TO CHERRYHILL, NEW JERSEY LOCATION. I GOT THERE EARLY BEFORE THEY OPEN SO I WOULDNT HAVE TO STAND IN A LONG LINE TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE. I WANTED TO PURCHASE A COUPLE OF ADDITIONAL ITEMS. HOWEVER, I WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE UPKEEP OF THE STORE. WALKING IN I WAS EXCITED BECAUSE I SEEN SOME NEW ITEMS. ONCE I STARTED WALKING AROUND I SEE THAT THE STORE WASNT RECOVERED FROM THE PRIOR DAY. CLOTHES WERE EVERYWHERE PILED UP LIKE I WAS IN A GOODWILL STORE AND GOODWILL STORE IS MUCH MORE ORGANIZED. THE WORKES WERE NOT FRIENDLY AND UNRESPONSIVE WHEN I TRIED TO INTERACT WITH THEM. THEY WERE RUNNING AROUND LIKE THEY WERE BUSY BUT NOTHING WAS BEING DONE. THE WORKER HAD TO REPORT THAT HER REISTGER HAD MORE MONEY IN IT THEN WHAT SUPOSE TO BE IN IT. THE DRESSING ROOM AREA HAD SO MANY CLOTHES JUST ALL OVER AS WELL IN THE OPEN STORE AREA. IT WAS HARD TO SEE WHAT THE STORE HAD WHEN MOST OF THE CLOTHING WAS LAYING ABOUT AND NOT DISPLAYED PROPERLY. IT HAD ME WONDERING IF COOPERATE KNOW WHATS GOING ON. I FELT LIKE A SECRET SHOPPER FOR SURE. I HOPE THAT ZARA GET IT TOGETHER,THEY DO HAVE NICE CLOTHES. THESE PICTURES WERE TAKEN AT 11AM WHEN THE STORE OPEN.
I hate that I have to write this. I’ve worked retail and customer service before and I know it can be an extremely demanding, tiring, thankless job. But this Zara location is past over-worked employees, it almost seems calculated at this point. My theory is that the lines are always so long so that you end up in the store for longer. But if this is really the case, it’s grossly exaggerated. Sometimes you only have time to shop for yourself for maybe an hour before you have to get some work done, pick up a child from school, run another errand. And this place makes it impossible to get anywhere on time. It’s so draining. I love Zara clothes, but wow it takes forever to buy even one thing. No employees want to help, no new registers are opened, it can take 30-40 minutes to check out sometimes in a line of maybe 5 people. I don’t get it. I really can’t stop here anymore. It’s so frustrating.
This is the worst experience I have ever had at Zara, I drove an hour away to go to this mall because I saw they had a Zara and I had the worst experience ever. The customer service was horrendous, every other store I went into I was greeted.I walked in with my son and my boyfriend and they did not greet us, I went over to the childrens section and I was just shopping around when I noticed the loss prevention was just standing there. I went to the womens section then to the mens section so that my boyfriend could look around, then I still noticed the loss prevention following us so I decided to put what I had picked up back because i refuse to spend my money somewhere where the employees can’t even greet you let alone have someone following you around !
My cousin came for a short visit from Orlando, she wanted to buy a few thins at this store. I only will say that the customer services experience is one of the worst Ive experienced. I am not sure if the staff morale is low, but it is not helping this stores reputation.
Horrible customer service. Store incorrectly marked a dress with incorrect price tag and for wrong dress. They charged me higher price than tag noted. Requested price adjustment and they refused to sell dress -even at the higher price-and refunded money. Started they have to place dress in damaged goods even though tagging was their fault. Customer is always right/ but not at Zara. Very disappointing.
Let me just say I love Zara clothes and I shop online frequently. However this location is awful.. I just waited 45min to return something. I don’t understand how they only have 1 cashier working for entire store! Management needs to do better.
Disaster. Terribly understaffed. After waiting in long queue for 20 minutes I left without my items. Dressing room also a mess and overflowing with clothes.

Zara has nice clothes and prices are good I would suggest more staff and keeping up with the appearance of the store at the Annapolis Mall.
The store was completely trashed and unorganized..the last size they had of a specific item was on the mannequin which the store manager said couldnt be removed or switched with the item we wanted to exchange..
Terrible customer service...We arrived at the store to return some items around 5:48pm, only to find a security guard locking the doors and not allowing anyone in. The store is supposed to close at 7pm according to Zaras website. There wasnt a sign on the door to alert customers that the store closes at 6pm on Sundays. For Heavens Sake, at least update your website and put a sign on the door so customers wont waste their time coming to a store that is clearly supposed to close at 7pm, according to its website.
Staff is very rude. They verbally accosted me. If you live in Maryland drive the extra few miles to Towson they are nicer there.
I’m disappointed. I think the store is a bit over priced for their clothing but on a busy Sunday weekend they have 3 sections for kids, women and men and only 2 registers open. You can’t even find a sales rep on the floor to assist you and the cashier keep leaving her register. I was her for my daughter if they would have not gotten my sales. POOR SERVICE!!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. There was about 10+ employees and only one at the register which made the wait extremely long. The guy at the register was friendly but I wish the other employees were there to help him move the line. Also, management there is a total joke. The girl who supposedly is the manager was walking around aimlessly during this. This actually is a problem at most Zara stores. I hope they fix this issue because I do enjoy their clothing selections.

I would give 0 stars if I would. On the website it states the store is scheduled to open at 11:00am. I drove 30 minutes to return jeans that I had bought the day before. The door was unlocked and when I opened it to step inside two employees yelled at me that they were closed. I stepped back out of the store and looked at my watch that read 11:07. Then someone walked up to the door and locked it on me. Then an unprofessional woman walked to the door stating that she was the Manager to announce that the store starting today opens at 12. She was so rude and when another customer asked for her name and the customer service number she said she didn’t know and didn’t want to give out her name. I will never shop there again and I will tell all of my friends also. Very disappointed!
Just like previous reviews, if I could give this location 0 stars I would. Stood in line for over 25 minutes to make an exchange a couple of weeks ago, just thought it could be a one time thing. Well I went back today and stood in line for 15 minutes to make a purchase because there was only one employee at the cash register while there was about 7 other employees walking around the store. When I was next in line, a lovely associate started pulling people from the BACK OF THE LINE. This location is horribly run and I will not be coming back.

Very disappointed in the customer service at this location. I actually came to this location to do an exchange. If I did not have to do exchange I would have walked out. I waited in line patiently for about 10 minutes till I realized the line was not moving and there was one cashier. I asked the one cashier that I saw ringing on the register is she the only cashier thats available. She informed me that the other young lady that was up in the front was also a cashier however she saw the line and continue to put sensors on the store merchandise. I counted over about 15 sales associates that was out on the floor working or just walking back and forth looking for something to do. I hope the store management and their team can make some adjustments to keep their customers happy once they reach to check out.
Awful service. The store was almost empty and there was a long line of people waiting outside. More than 20 people left the store and nobody was allowed to enter. Someone asked the staff at the door when someone would be allowed to go in and he said: before 7 (when they close). Seriously? We of course left and never coming back.
This is the worst store ever!!! Waiting in line 45 minutes to purchase a gift card is insane... they have one person working the register and 30 people walking the floor.. none of which will step in and help. Ask for the manager and she was absolutely zero help! This store and management is a joke! I wish I could give negative stars!!!

A cashier at your Annapolis mall location in MD wrung up items that were clearly marked with sales prices with another full priced tag to steal money from me. I then perceived to ask him to do a return because I caught him stealing and he gave me a hard time and refused to do a return. (Mind you I never left the store during the transactions and returns) He said the items weren’t on sale but I showed him the tag on the pants with the sales price. He was shaking nervously because he got caught red handed. He was quick to pull the tags off the items before anyone could come see the problem. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and they were rude and disrespectful. It took an hour for them to do a return after they refused to refund my money. This was the most horrific shopping ordeal that I’ve ever experienced. I will make sure to blast this on all social media networks and platforms. I’ve never felt so disrespected and humiliated in my life!!! Always look over your receipts before leaving the store. This one’s a sneaky one. The managers don’t care about the customers.

I love this store and their clothes, BUT the lines to pay are always ridiculously long and there’s always only one cashier of the 4 computers in JUST the women’s section. The wait to pay is about 15 minutes longer than needed. Customers complain and workers shrug their shoulders. No matter what location, this store always seems to be under staffed with poor customer service.
Nice clothes but I can never seem to find my fit.. I am not a heavy person but I have a butt and thick thighs 🤷🏾♂️.. all their pants are too tight for me. I am from the skinny jeans generation. If you work out and a bigger than a fashion model then no.. Zara may not be for you.. however for everyone else 👍🏾I was in the UK a couple of weeks ago.. same issue 😫😫

Referred by a friend. I love the clothing styles.Arrived with my friends to shop at a decent time during the SEVEN HOURS they were open and not fifteen minutes before closing. Because of this we had no problems whatsoever with feeling unwelcomed by staff who start normal closing procedures at 30 minutes prior to closing.
Zara has the cutest clothes! The fitting rooms are closed due to covid-19 so be prepared to buy first and try on at home.

Sometimes clean and sometimes not so clean. The Tyson’s location has a larger selection. Here you have the basics. The sales associates are helpful if you ask.

Great store that has a huge variety of in-fashion clothes for men and women. The jeans are definitely some of my favorites Ive bought in several years since some of the usual stores began reducing the quality of their denim without changing the price. The dressing rooms at this location can be a little awkward as the curtains are difficult to close all the way, but in general the store is well run and the sales staff are very helpful.
Love their products...Floor sales associates need to be more readily available...often challenging to get assistance on the floor.
Nice place, nice clorhes, but nothing extraordinary.This isnt a must shop type of place. The offerings arent generally that compelling. But sometimes, they have good sales, and then its worthwhile to pick up pieces that fill gaps in the wardrobe.Personnel are generally helpful and friendly.
Monster size Zara. Full mens shop, full womens shop, full childrens shop. Prices were reasonable and summer end sale prices were amazing. Limited help staff, but those that were there were helpful including a security staff member who helped out keeping the place looking on point.

TERRIBLE. I arrive at the Annapolis mall location on Sunday at 6:45 pm when the store closes at 7 pm. Me along with 3 other customers outside are told that the registers close at 630 and doors lock at 6:45 because (and heres the irony) they dont want to TURN AWAY CUSTOMERS. My response was What the hell do you suppose youre doing right now then? This used to be one of my favorite stores but Ill honestly never be shopping here again
Customer service is for sure NOT their priority. I had to go back twice after several items didn’t have the security item removed. And they got mad because I kept going back 🤦♀️. Maybe if they had removed it in the first place I wouldn’t have had to go back. Please train this people that the customers are the reason they have a job. All we want is to be treated respectfully

Cool clothing but overpriced like most fashion these days and tailored for a specific body type. I dont want to fit in the mold, but can appreciate the artistry of their clothing.

Found white jeans for the girls birthday. They loved them. I always forget Zara has kids clothing.
When Zara Kids first opened in my local mall I thought their clothes and shoes/accessories were so adorable. I have eight grandchildren and thought Id found THE store that could meet my shopping needs for them. Not any longer. The merchandise and styles no longer are as attractive, and the sales staff is really rude and indifferent to shoppers. How can a store expect to stay in business if they ignore their customers, or treat them rudely? Zara is no longer on my shopping radar and its too bad.
The customer service is absurd, I love Zara’s clothing so I keep coming back since Annapolis is the closest. I’ve dealt with the customer service in the past given long lines, holidays etc. But today I had a return and the women’s department told me to go to kid’s, then kid’s told me to go to women’s because their girl had to use the bathroom, then women’s told me to go to men’s, men’s back to women’s and then back to kid’s. I was running around the whole store! Unacceptable there is not communication at all, kids department even said “I wish I knew women’s register was closed.”
I enjoy this store and what it offers but the customer service here is lacking. None of the workers greet you or look like they want to assist. And no matter how busy it gets, there is always a long line with only one cashier! The sale sections are always a mess as well as the dressing rooms.I once had been in line for 10 minutes. An associate advised me and 3 others to go to the mens side to be helped. I was the 3rd in line (there were already 2 people there) and right before my turn, the cashier left. Just... left. Turns out he was done for the day, which is fine, but they had no one to cover him? No one? even when we were TOLD to go????!!!!!

I have been here only once but I was pleased with the service and organization of the store. Also, this store was very clean. Usually, Zara stores I went in the NOVA/DC area are a mess and packed at all times contrary to this location. However, I would check online if the item you want to buy or try is available at this store as the selection is more limited compared to other Zara stores.
I’ve shopped at Zara for years & this location I’m highly disappointed in their service. I give 2/5 for the stores cleanliness. The staff are not helpful unless you ask multiple employees for the same thing. To top it off I was charged an additional $99 for an item that was tagged $89 & didn’t get an apology or anything. I was simply asked if I wanted the price adjusted! Lol Unbelievable! If the employees worked on commission they wouldn’t make a dime!

I just called to check on a item. The phone rang, and rang and rang........... No one ever picked-up. I have visited the store in Annapolis on several occasions while the customer service is mostly below mediocre (except for the one man with a strong spanish accent in the mens department check-out) I have noticed employees standing around talking never offering to assist while the store is obviously very busy. I unfortunately have to agree that the merchandise is better than the customer service in this location it is overall poor.
They never answer their phone. Ever. Also, it’s always just 2 people on the register in the women’s section and that’s the only place to check out. The lines are always extremely long and it’s always extremely hot in there.
After waiting in line for 30 mins when there were only 3 people in front of us, the manager rips off the price tag on our item saying she cant honor that price. They mispriced that item. They should honor that price. Edit: 2 weeks later a different Zara location had the same item with the same discounted price, no problem there.

This is one of the worst Zaras Ive been to. For one, there is never anyone at the registers in the men section. You have to wait in the long ass line in the womans section which is ridiculous. I seen four people walk to the line, and drop their items because they refused to wait. Not only that but they have major issues with their POS system accepting chip cards. Casing point....youre better off going to Nordstrom or Macys, they have better quality clothes anyway.

Im not sure if they handle returns well. Last week I was in the store and a woman tried to return something that was a gift but didnt have a gift receipt. Call me crazy but if your going to let someone exchange something why limit them to the same item in a different size. I just felt like mentioning that but surprise, fast forward to this week I was the women who needed to make a return, however, I had a receipt and the tags were still attached. The reason I was returning it was because there was a hole in the garment that I didnt see at the time that I purchased it. At the store I tried on the garment in an extra small but decided that the medium was the one that I should purchase. The garment was a shirt that had a bodysuit under it. Needless to say that once I discovered the rip I decided that I was going to return it. I couldnt get back out to the store until the weekend(5 days later) but once I got there, I was told ever so politely that the store could not return damaged items. I was shocked considering I didnt damage it. I know first hand that stores sell damaged merchandise knowingly and often than not, unknowingly. But get this, I could exchange it but only for the same item. Well, if you remember earlier I stated that I tried on the one other size they had, the extra small, so I already knew that wasnt the one for me. After that exchange I decided I didnt want to purchase anything else from Zara which is ashamed because I used to like there business model of making limited quantities insuring semi-individuality, and lets face it if you know limited quantities were produced your more likely to purchase desired styles sooner rather than later. No more Zara for me.
