The most positive shopping experience Ive had in years! We were greeted warmly at the door even though we do not look like the typical (aka wealthy) Annapolis shoppers. I knit so am familiar and love alpaca yarn products. It was total luxury to feel the wonderful alpaca knits in scarves, ponchos, and wraps even in 90 degree heat. We slowly ventured into the back room where coats and wraps and longer garments lived and our daughter found the most beautiful cape in the world. Elaine, the shop mistress, could not have been nicer and more positive with all our questions and comments and hesitancy. We purchased the cape in secret as a Christmas present for our daughter and Elaine arranged to have it shipped. The package arrived today with the sweetest note from her Ive ever read. It will be a Christmas to remember, thanks to Elaine and those amazing alpacas.

Visited Annapolis for the summer and I stopped in this shop located right on Main Street and I absolutely loved everything!! The customer service was great and the quality of the clothing was incredible. I purchased two sweaters from their baby alpaca collection and they are the best investment I have ever made!! Will definitely visit again.

While in Park City for a ski holiday, we discovered this wonderful store. The website doesnt do it justice -- you must visit the store to see how beautiful the clothes are. The service and sales staff were excellent. They were very helpful showing us the various ways to wear the scarves, shawls and jackets. When I returned home, I had a couple of questions about my purchases and Zia (the owner) got right back to me each time. Im looking forward to returning to Alpaca International during next years ski trip!

The person at the register was extremely rude! We walked in explaining how we have an alpaca farm and the first thing out of her mouth was that there are alpaca rescues because people have them as pets. (Did I say pets or farm) she continued to say that we dont have real alpacas because we arent located in Peru.She immediately lost our business with her snooty attitude. I will not be going back.

The staff were excellent and the products were great quality. Very expensive, but not overpriced.

Marge is an excellent saleswoman/manager. She gave my wife sound advice and wouldnt let her make a poor choice. Although the coat my wife selected was not in the correct size, well continue pestering Marge to see when it becomes available.
