Prestige Detailing and Yacht Management is a Grade A Class Act company.I live in Annapolis, where there a lot of options for marine contractors of all types. I first hired Prestige a while back for a quick wash on a boat I had for sale. Their team did such a good and thorough job, I scheduled them to do a deep clean and full detail of my 24’ Center Console. From my first interactions with the staff in the office, the experience has been phenomenal. They even took the time to reach out and verify the appointment day before. The price was reasonable, the team showed up bright and early the next morning at my house, and they spent the better part of the day working to make that boat shine. I had owned the boat for about 4 years and had never done more than a basic wash on her before. Years of grime and oxidation plagued the aluminum T-Top, and the cracks between the seats and along the inside lip of the access panels looked like they hadn’t been wiped in years. The gel coat was cloudy and lackluster. By the time the team was done, the Hull looked like glass, the aluminum shined like new, and you could eat off the sidewalls of the live well and storage compartments. The guys saved two old birds’ nests they had found in the T-Top Life-vest Storage bag. They even made sure all the through-hulls and drain ports were cleaned out and draining smooth, and after, they put my winter cover back on to make sure the trees didn’t drop leaves in her before the season started. The two guys who showed up were happy, polite, personable, and funny. Before they were even done, I thanked them both for doing such a great job and tipped them each. 30 minutes later, as they were cleaning up, I decided to tip them each again, because I was just so impressed with the detail of their work. You could tell they were enjoying themselves and took pride in a job well done.Today, the same team detailed my 44’ Sailboat, which is on the hard at a local marina. They took special care to ensure the cleaning products they used were the manufacturer’s recommended/approved cleaning products so as not to damage my EZ2CY enclosure, which is very particular and can easily be damaged by the wrong products. They were also diligent about removing any semblance of the boats previous name decals such as UV discoloration and gummed up glue residue, so the new name and logo decals would really pop against the bright white hull. They cleaned, waxed, and polished everything from the waterline up to the highest points they could safely reach on the Mast and Boom. They cleaned the tops of the fiberglass dodger, the seals around the inside of each of the ports, all storage compartments and lazarettes, and the pulpits and stanchions. I even saw them cleaning inside the plastic tracks that the canvas surround slips into. There is not enough good that I can say about the team over at Prestige. Suffice to say, I am a lifelong customer for sure.

Edit: They may have some QC issues to resolve however when the owner came out at my request to see first hand what I have been complaining about. within 3 days he hand an new crew out to make things right. Its hard to explain issues when pictures of white boats tend to hide what the naked eye can see. This is a followup to a previous review I was asked to remove by the owner of Prestige Yacht Management. Contracted my boat to be detailed via the marina I keep my boat at the quoted price was $851.00. The crew that was first on the boat didnt speak English so it was hard to understand what they were doing when I asked what products were being used. I came back the next day to find wax residue all over my boat and a very poor buff job. After more than a week of being told no one is responding I finally was told that a crew would be back to correct the problems. long story shot, boat still splotchy from the original poor wax job, second crew just cleaned up the mess from the first crew. There was an orange hue to my top deck from wax/compound being allowed to dry on (other professional detailer confirmed this). To top it all off I get an invoice for $1600.00 stating I asked for additional coats of wax by the first crew ... sorry but how could i have asked for that when I dont speak Spanish
