Five stars on excellent customer service!! The absolute fastest transaction ever! I spent (just) a couple of hours on the telephone preparing and negotiating the purchase of a new vehicle. Once I arrived at the dealership, the deal was sealed and I was driving home within 30 minutes! The salesman (Cameron); a consummate of his profession was very attentive, responsive and patient to my “many” requests. The salesman (Cameron) along with finance (Tony) and sales manager (Bruce) are part of a great team. I highly recommend Volvo of Annapolis.
I recently traveled to the Annapolis area for a wedding. My tire pressure light came on unexpectedly after a 7 hour drive. Lewis couldn’t have been more helpful, getting me back on the road quickly. His kindness was much appreciated so far from home.
Had an amazing experience purchasing my XC40 at Volvo cars Annapolis! I worked with Joe Moore and he was amazing & made my first car buying experience a breeze. Out of all the Volvo dealerships in the DC metro area they also gave me the best price for my trade in. I was very happy and would absolutely go back again!
I have purchased many cars over the years including Japanese, German and American cars, but this purchase was a completely difference experience. I dont know if it is a Swedish thing or a Volvo thing, but there was absolutely no stress or adversarial vibe at all. My salesman Vito, Brian (business manager) and Corey (resident Volvo geek) were fantastic and had all the answers to my questions. No one needed ask the manager or play any of those car-buying games I have experienced in the past. I found my perfect car, got a terrific deal and most of all felt like a truly valued customer (even though I was buying CPO - not new). Corey - thank you for the personal tutorial I received to understand my new car (SO helpful!). Going over the financing details with Brian reminded me of a conversation with a super-friendly dad. And Vito - from minute one you listened and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Definitely the best car buying experience I have ever had!
They are very unprofessional. I gave them my car for a few issues. When I received it, they stained my front seat, damaged the interior of my trunk and left the back trunk area disheveled, blatantly for that matter. The customer service rep, Nicole, attempted to validate additional charges for the work done that was classified as “miscellaneous”, after already charging me for parts and labor. When asked to explain, her answer was “we charge for our complimentary services even if you don’t use them and it could also be for topping off your fluids”. I am very displeased with them and would recommend you stay away from them if you want quality, professional, service.
Cameron was my contact person and was absolutely AWESOME 💫. I couldnt have asked for a more efficient salesman. He was patient ☮🕊and, knowledgeable📖, and paid special attention🧐 to detail so that he could fit me with the car🚘 that best fit my lifestyle. Because of Cameron my experience was delightful🙂. I purchased a car from Volvo Annapolis approx. 3-4 yrs ago and I knew then that I would be returning🏃♀️ to buy another one. What I didnt know, is that I would hit the jack pot🎰 with a great salesman 🔖with such positive energy🧘♀️☯️, excellent customer service and GREAT🤙communication📲. And Im not sure about you🤔 but its the communication for me 🙌🏽. So if you want honest✔, caring✔, quality✔ service be sure to stop🚦 by Volvo Annapolis and ask for CAMERON, he is a gem💎.
Ask for Cameron! He is exceptional and provides the ultimate level of customer service! He is so personable so he really would be great in any industry but I am so glad I stumbled across him the day I was out car shopping. He put me at ease and was in no way pushy or demanding. He knows why Volvos are a class act in comparison and he will be a resource to you post purchase should you reach out to him. You cant go wrong with Cameron and you will enjoy the process that much more. Thanks Cameron!
Incredible experience with the team at Volvo. As a BMW owner for over 20 years I was unsure about transitioning. Christian DeSeve was an exceptional salesman. He listened, explained features, options, and took in what I was looking for to find the right car and I drove 3. The management took care to make sure I had the optimal value for my car (within reason of course) and the financing took about 15 minutes. While I would have been thrilled to walk out then and there, there was more. His name is Corey. He is a master and spent about an hour with me guiding me through the external and internal features with a great cadence. Wow.
Can not express how pleased I was working with Cameron at Volvo. He was very through and informative. It was the best car buying experience. Everyone got me in and out quickly!!
Im sharing my experience with ordering parts online from Volvo Annapolis. Ive bought parts through their online store twice, and each time they had excellent prices for parts and shipping. I was contacted once to verify my VIN, and the person contacting me was great. He even called when I didnt respond to an email that landed in my spam folder. I suggest always checking their website even if youre out of state! You might find better prices and more availability of parts than some of the usual sites.
Had an excellent experience at Volvo Cards Annapolis. Specifically, Cameron was great and explained everything in detail. Vehicle was immaculate at pick up exactly as expected.
Service advisors are great, whole experience getting your car serviced is a breeze!
Vito was wonderful! Loved working with him and Brian was a great guy too. Second volvo from here and its the best place to buy a car!
We bought a Volvo from another place in February. Took this one in for service at this location. Pleasantly surprised. No rip off no upsell just the service and they looked over the whole car. Even advise me of things I was going to do they told me not to do yet. Not the cheapest service you can get but thumbs up
Just picked up a certified XC90 from Vito Vita and Annapolis Volvo. This was the 18th vehicle I’ve purchased in my life and was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. In and out fast and the whole team was absolutely incredible. Don’t waste your time elsewhere. Huge Thanks Vito and we will definitely be back!
I had an amazing experience working with Volvo Cars Annapolis. The entire staff, from the sales person Vito to finance manager Tony to the internet sales liaison Shani, all of them made the process of leasing a 2021 XC60 as seamless and easy as possible. Even more so due to the fact that I live in Ohio, so the entire process was completed over the phone and via email. In the end Vito was able to connect me with a transportation company that delivered my vehicle very quickly. I may live in Ohio but I will definitely recommend this dealership because of how thorough, transparent, and quick the entire group was in setting up this deal. Thank you!
Awesome, stress-free experience! Would highly recommend reaching out to Cameron to help with your next car purchase. His expertise and calmness were reassuring that we made the right choice with our purchase. If youre looking for an easy car buying experience, Volvo Annapolis and Cameron are the way to go!
This is strictly about the service center as I did not go to the show room but Nicole was very friendly and professional. She was very clear and helpful with everything and I feel the service department as a whole goes above and beyond to meet the customer needs. I have had sour experiences at other service departments but they were exceptional here. Would recommend to anyone that needs service with their cars.
I had a most pleasurable experience purchasing my Certified Pre-owned 2018 Volvo xc90. I found myself wandering around the lot on a Saturday afternoon when I was casually joined by Sales Rep Bobby Johnson. We didnt talk about buying a car, we strolled around for perhaps two hours just talking about cars, the newest options, colors, interiors, safety features, and factory warranties. We even spent time reminiscing about all the cool options we were going to get when we bought our first cars as teenagers.I decided I was going to buy a car, a real nice one too, not because I was pushed into it by a fast talking salesperson, but because Bobbys easy going, laid back approach helped me figure out why I was wandering around the car lot in the first place.Bobby and Nick Brown, the Sales Manager turned me over to Cameron Laguerre, a young but knowledgeable Sales Associate who took care of the business end of the purchase effortlessly, courteously and always with a friendly smile.Everyone I came in contact with at the dealership was pleasant and comfortable to be around. As i said, a most pleasurable experience.
Miguel was fantastic in assisting me with the purchase of my Tiguan! He answered any questions I had and stayed in contact with me through the entire buying experience. Easiest sales process I’ve ever gone through. Brian in finance took the time to break down all costs, and was also transparent with the paperwork and I was in and out quickly. Amazing experience overall!
I had a great experience buying my Volvo XC60 from Volvo Annapolis. We worked with Cameron and he made the experience fun and stress free. He was genuine, knowledgeable, and not your stereotypical car salesman. He has since followed up and checked in to see if I had any questions which I appreciated. Would highly recommend buying your Volvo here!
My first and last experience with the service department of this business was not good. I paid for a part (with a 500 percent markup) that I cant use and almost $200 for a diagnostic test of which I have no proof and which was unnecessary. I wont go into the reason why, but they know. Im more mad at myself for letting my guard down since I had actually done work with another branch of that company. Lesson: always research the price they charge for parts. Managers customer service skills were lacking. A bit of empathy would have gone a long way. I will never use their services again. First impression is a true reflection. I wasted more than $400 at this place including almost 4 hour travel time and got nothing. I dont want them to fix it. There are closer alternatives. I just thought I could trust this one. I will take my business elsewhere.
A pleasure dealing with Devin Anderson. He did a great job. A very smooth and speedy transaction.
Had a great experience here! Honestly, the entire staff was great but I bought my Lexus CT with the help of Mark Rivers. He was fast to respond and easy to reason with. I would purchase from their lot again. Ill be back with a 4 month update on my vehicle!
We recently purchased a Certified Volvo XC 90 form Volvo of Annapolis (our 2nd time), and I must say that our salesman Cameron was the most personable, professional, and courteous salesman we have ever dealt with. We are from Cape May, NJ and I made it clear that I would like to do the deal online as much as possible, and he made that happen. We showed up to the dealership, signed the papers, and were on our way in no time! Cameron, you set the bar incredibly high, and I hope your boss gives you the recognition you deserve!
Cameron did an awesome job with us- he never made us feel pressured and was patient from start to finish. Very cool, and very personable!
I purchased a S90. I researched the car online. Laura answered my questions and set up a time to meet. Once I arrived she introduced me to Veto. Veto gathered my information and let me test drive the car no haggle. I returned and spoke to him about the original car I wanted it was sold the day before. He outlined the difference between that car and the one I test drove. I showed him a small dent he offered to get it fix no cost. So far I am very happy. The price was good and the staff was nice.
I had my first service on my 20 Volvo XC40 today. I purchased my car from the Owings Mills location (which I understand was relocated to White Marsh), but chose to have my services performed at the Annapolis location since I am there fairly regularly. At the time of my purchase, I was told Volvo is Volvo and so I can have services performed wherever is most convenient for me.Upon arrival, a woman working in the service department greeted me and checked me in. When she saw that I purchased my vehicle from another dealership, her demeanor changed from neutral to perturbed. She kept reiterating, Well, since you didnt buy your car here, I dont have your vehicles history... since you didnt buy your car here, I need your address... since you didnt buy your car here, I need X... She seemed inconvenienced by me to say the least. The interaction left me unsettled. I will say that one positive is they did have me in and out quickly. I was told the wait would be about 90 minutes, but it took slightly over an hour.
Went to Annapolis for a safety recall for my S60, 2016 model. The service department was extremely busy-six cars pulled in before me at 10 AM. I had an appointment but because of the traffic expected a minimum 2 hour wait. Surprisingly, I was out in an hour. Very happy with the service I received.
I have been coming to Annapolis Volvo for 16 years! I Love the staff, the place is so clean and inviting. They offer an array of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Im even looking @ purchasing a XC-40 from there. I walked past the vehicle and I thought it was a Range Rover! Way to go Volvo!
Great experience with Volvo Cars Annapolis! Last week my husband and I purchased a 2021 Volvo XC 90. Our salesman was Jackson Holtzman who provided outstanding customer service! This young man was professional, friendly, a good listener and communicator and we never felt rushed ! After purchasing our car we also met and spent an hour or so with Corey Cross, a Product Specialist to go over all the features of this amazing car. Corey also did an outstanding job! Corey was very friendly, patient and knows this car inside and out! Thanks again to everyone at Volvo Cars Annapolis! Great Experience! Love my new car!
Showroom ambience and customer engagement during wait time can certainly be improved. They do follow some process for financial credit check which is irrelevant especially when payment is made through check and cash. This showroom ran credit check on my name as if I am taking the loan for vehicle purchase. Later on completing the formalities when checked with finance manager he said its not required to run the credit check if we are not going for financing.
Just purchased a 2021 XC40, Joe Moore was out of this world. He was super knowledgeable, transparent, and not your typical pushy salesmen. He was respectful of my budget and what I was looking for in a car. Would recommend Annapolis Volvo especially Joe Moore if you are in the market for a new car.
Great experience working with Vito Vita on purchase of CPO XC90! We inquired about cars at many dealerships and came down from PA after working with Vito over the phone. He took us seriously even though we were an out-of-state buyer who had not yet stepped foot in the dealership. We committed to purchasing and when we arrived, the car was exactly as expected! Delivery was fast and easy and Tony was lovely to work with too. We purchased the extended warranty offering 10 years/unlimited miles at an extremely competitive rate! We shopped that program well in advance and didn’t even need to negotiate. Other dealerships are not at all in the ballpark charging much, much more. This was quite refreshing! Finally, Corey Cross helped us after our purchase and set us up with the Volvo app, linking the new Volvo and a Volvo we already own together in one place. Corey was very knowledgeable and generous with his time. This was a great car buying experience! We highly recommend Annapolis Volvo!
Recently purchased a new Volvo (different Volvo dealership) but ordered some accessories from the Annapolis location. The process was simple, and when I arrived for pickup I was greeted by a friendly front desk employee who graciously showed me where to go for the parts department. The employees in parts were also extremely nice and helpful. Simple, easy and enjoyable experience. Thanks Volvo of Annapolis!
Update: I picked up my vehicle and paid on 12/2/20. On 1/11/21 they left me a voicemail with no information, I called them back that evening. On 1/18/21 they called again to ask how I paid for the service and asked me to send a screenshot of my credit card statement. I declined to do so.This review is based on bad experience with the service department. I purchased a 2017 XC90 at another dealership, and I’ve now taken it to Volvo Annapolis twice. The first was for 50,000 miles service, and the second was for a check engine light. Between scheduling the appointments, getting information about the service, and picking up the vehicle, I called the service department about 7-8 times. They only answered the phone once. Two or three times I left messages, and I did not receive a call back within an hour of the message. When I was trying to pick up my vehicle the second time, they were not answering. I asked the receptionist to ensure I could speak to a person instead of voicemail, and it again went to voicemail. I then asked to speak to a manager. The manager was with another customer, and they did not call me back. The sales department was helpful when I dropped the vehicle off after hours.
Thank you so much to the Volvo family for helping me find the car of my dreams! Such an easy and stress free process. I was worried about going to the dealership during COVID but Volvo was incredibly COVID mindful and I felt very safe. I cannot thank Anthony enough for the amazing sales and service.
Made an online reservation via Volvos Oncall app. I called and left 3 voice messages to confirm the appointment as I couldnt establish any direct contact with Volvo Annapolis service desk. No one called back. I have made online reservations before at this very service center using their portal and even received text confirmations of the apppointment. Alas, when I arrived for the early morning appointment I was told that they did not receive the reservation despite the evidence I provided. What was worse is they couldnt even fit me in on their schedule or made any attempts to compensate at least partially for the inconvenience. I was told to call or confirm the next time I made an online reservation which I did but never received the mere courtesy of a call back from the service center. I decided to follow the same process in booking with another volvo dealer instead and it was a much more profesional and pleasent experience. Kudos Fairfax volvo
My family had three auto franchises for 30 years, and I worked there from age 13-30. I know good and bad service when I see them. I wish Id have been able to have Damir work at our store! He was professional, attentive (returned texts and calls), helpful to the extreme, courteous, and friendly. Ok, he may or may not be a Boy Scout, but hes an excellent salesperson. We love our new XC60 AWD T5 Inscription, and were impressed every step along the way from a Sunday morning visit to the back (sneaky) lot, all the way to the time of our delivery. The dealership is smallish (big enough), but extremely modern, clean, bright, pleasant, welcoming.Again, from the perspective of would I hire them, here are a few callouts for their friendliness and professionalism: Bruce- Sls Mgr, Damir -of course, Corey - Product Knowledge expert, Vicki - receptionist, Walt - Service Desk, and Morija -Parts counter. My rating...10 out of 10.
Bruce King and Vito Vita were fantastic to work with. They were patient with us as we navigated which specific XC40 we wanted to go with. This is my third Volvo purchase from Annapolis Volvo and have always gotten exceptional service. Keep it up!
Check in was quick and with proper safety protocols. The time to work on my car was reasonable.
Unfortunately, I have had the worst experience with Volvo of Annapolis. So bad that I will be reaching out to people a step above them. For the last month I have had a vehicle towed from Ocean city Maryland, which cost over $500, twice, there AND back, each time, with my towing company so they could fix the problem with one of my customers vehicles. The window would not go up and this is all we were trying to fix. The first time when I received the car back the window didnt work. The tech/service writer Luis lied to me over the phone saying the window didnt work because of the dead battery. So I went out to the vehicle and it not only started right up, we did a battery check and it was a good battery. Needless to say after Luis got nasty with me, I started talking to his manager David. David told me to bring the vehicle back (AT MY TOWING EXPENSE) and he would fix the problem. So we once again got it towed back to Annapolis to have the problem fixed. After paying them $200 and having it towed up twice, I figured they would make it right, but they did not. Ive spend over a month trying to contact them regarding the window still not working and never received a call back from David(after two weeks). I was then directed to the general manager Anthony who has no knowledge about vehicles. After feeling belittled on the phone by Anthony (the GM) in regards to my customers vehicle and the way I had been treated by Luis and David, which he did not care that Luis used inappropriate language on the phone with me, all I asked for was a refund for the service we paid for and did not receive. He told me there was no way he would reimburse me because they did what we asked, even though the problem was not fixed both times we brought the vehicle up. They never contacted us in regards to the problem not being fixed or any issues with it. Bottom line, I work in a mechanical shop and deal with situations like this all the time and you are suppose to make your customers happy and be reasonable with them and they were not at all. I would personally never recommend anybody going to this dealership, especially with their labor rate (over $150 an hour) vs. ours that is $95 an hour. They ripped off my company and are proceeding to do so! Once again, most disappointing situation I have ever ever EVER dealt with! DO NOT LET THEM STEAL FROM YOU LIKE THEY DID TO US!
Went to test drive an XC60 and Tom was very professional and informative.
Leased a 2020 here and will likely not return to purchase this car or lease another. They never, ever return phone calls. Very frustrating. Had BMW prior and they’ve always answered and/or returned phone calls.
Stopped in on my way back from a vacation. I was getting a message about my tire pressure in all 4 tires. They were so accommodating, added air in all 4 tires and I was on my way 15 minutes later. Great customer service for all volvo owners.Thank you!
I had put off buying a new car for way too long because I absolutely had the car buying process. When I could no longer put it off, I was connected with Bruce King through a mutual acquaintance. Bruce immediately responded to my initial email (and all the many after that!). He found me the exact model I wanted with the features I needed and had it delivered to Volvo Annapolis super fast. Bruce, Claire and Tony had all of the paperwork done in advance for me so all I had to do was come in and sign a few things. I think it took me longer to figure out how to start the car (which wasnt long thanks to Corey Cross!). I really appreciate everyone working so hard to make this such a smooth and easy process. Definitely the best car buying experience I have ever had!
Inquired about a certified vehicle, asked 2 separate internet salespeople for price quotes (Two only because the first never responded). Was assured we would be receiving a quote. The following week we were contacted...only to be told the vehicle was no longer available because Volvo Cars Annapolis had taken a deposit from another customer...who had apparently inquired AFTER us, but was clearly fortunate enough to contact more motivated salespeople than we did. NEVER received a price quote. Isn’t it fair to assume that providing an interested customer with a price quote is the bare minimum level of customer service to be reasonably expected from a car dealership? Our experience is that you can’t even expect the bare minimum “customer service” from Volvo Cars Annapolis. Here’s hoping your experience is far better than ours was.
Devin went above and beyond to assure us that the car we ended up purchasing was in great condition and well worth the drive we made to buy the vehicle. He sent us a video of the car ahead of time so that we could inspect it before we drove over, and he was patient with us when we asked our 1000 questions about the vehicle. The actual purchase was very pleasant and we were excited to have paid a fair price with no surprise fees. I would highly recommend Devin and this dealership! The manager we worked with at the time of purchase was also very wonderful, patient, and kind. Thank you to all at Volvo Cars Annapolis! We are very happy with our new (used) car!
If I could provide zero stars I would. I had recall work performed on my vehicle. It was returned with damage to three doors and grease finger prints on the door. When I sent an email to Walt documenting the issues, it took my follow-up to get a response days later. When I dropped the vehicle off, Walt exclaimed that seat belts cause this damage. He did not even take the time to look at the doors as he would see that its clear the damage was done when removing the door panels, an area where a seat belt wont come in contact with. I was provided a loaner vehicle of which was dirty with food/drink residue in the console. I also entered the service area with my mask as indicated by a sign, yet two customers in the service area were not wearing them and nothing was said. This place does not care about service, quality work or safety of their customers for that matter. A complaint to the GM was never followed through as promised by COB that day. I will not be buying the new vehicle here needless to say.
Everything about my recent Volvo SUV purchase was easy and seamless. The staff were all extremely helpful and I couldnt be happier with my new car!
Review is for Pre-Owned dept.Great used car purchase experience, Miguel was very helpful. Very honest and upfront team. They dont rush or pressure you to buy, no questionable fees added to purchase price. They were able to beat my credit unions APR also, no funny business at this place.I got a solid SUV, assured by my mechanic after purchase, at a fair price.Big thanks to Miguel and Steve, I will send them friends/family when they need a used vehicle.
Unfortunately I had to update my review. My original review can be found below. When I bought the car I paid for extended warranty. I requested its cancellation 2-3 weeks later. I was told that it will take 6 weeks, but nevertheless it took 8-9 months to get a refund for the warranty. Very frustrating experience.Apart from that it turned out that the car had a leaking vacuum pump. This is a common problem with Volvos 6 cylinder 3.2 and T6 engines, but it wasnt fixed by the dealership when they serviced the car before selling it.Original review:I bought a used Volvo XC60 from Volvo Cars Annapolis. I had a great experience - easy and fast. Got exactly what I wanted without having to go back and forth. Samuel was very helpful - answered all my questions and explained everything really well without being pushy.I would highly recommend purchasing a car from Volvo Cars Annapolis.
Avoid this dealer if you are looking to buy a used car. Dont trust what they say about the condition of the car. They are dishonest and wont disclose the full condition of the car to you. Dont be deceived by the very nice sales personnel especially Mike. They are very nice before the sale but extremely unresponsive after the sale. I purchase a 2012 bmw through the sales manager Mike Mayfield. In a 3 weeks period after purchase I had repeated low coolant light coming up. A local bmw dealership diagnosis was a leaking lower radiator hose and thermostat sensor hose which would cost $1,800 to fix. After several back and forth with Mike Mayfield he agreed for Annapolis volvo to fix the leaking coolant. Annapolis volvo took the car for 3 days and afterwards I was informed the leaking had been fixed. 2 week after the fixed leaking coolant the low coolant light comes on a again. This time around I took the car to a different bmw dealership for a second opinion. The diagnosis from the second dealer was the same - lower radiator hose and thermostat sensor hose. Basically Annapolis volve took my vehicle with a known problem and decided not to fix it and lied to me that the problem had been fixed. I tried reaching out to Mike mayfield but he never returned any of my calls, voicemail or msg left at the front desk.Button line, this dealer is dishonest and might sell you a lemon.
Lawrence Huggins made my first experience at Annapolis Volvo smooth and easy. I found the car I wanted online and called to ask about it. He welcomed me in to the dealership on his day off so he could work with me.The car I wanted was used and had just arrived at Volvo. He had the exterior cleaned before showing me the car. He was pleasant during our test drive. He shared valuable information about the car and kept the conversation flowing in a relaxed manner. When I returned the next day to buy the car, Lawrence was just as attentive and solid to work with. He addressed my questions about the age of the tires. He was patient at all times and I felt heard and understood as a customer. At times during our conversations, Lawrence showed compassion for a wide variety of people that indicated he was a warm person and not just on a hustle for sales.I would recommend Lawrence to anyone looking to buy a car. He is a solid person and great with customers.
The customer service at the Annapolis location far exceeds that of any of the other dealership service departments I have ever visited. Each time I have brought any of my vehicles in for service or repairs, I have received the same level of respect and attentiveness regardless as to who the customer service representative/manager is.
Marlowe Simms is the sales specialist that I worked with. I purchased my CPO 2013 Volvo XC70 T6 Platinum with the Volvo Recent College Grad program. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The end of the month is a great time to buy a car at this dealership and Mike Mayfield is a great manager. When I identified a point I wanted his attention at during my negotiation for the car he was honest and understanding of my concerns. This was reflected in the competitive price I got for my car and I am now continuing the family tradition of my family owning more than a half dozen volvos. Marlowe spent a good month in correspondence with me while I was looking over various cars as potential options. I look forward to continuing to work with this dealership in the future.
Respectful sales experience. Mason O. Kept things simple.
Just purchased an S60 from Annapolis Volvo. Had a been a life long Mercedes driver until now. The Volvo team wowed me with their performance. They took amazing care of me. My sales rep, Ryan, was fantastic. He was never pushy and did everything he could to get me a great deal. The car was used and showed some signs of wear. They promised to make it look like new and they fulfilled that promise. Mike, the sales manager, was extremely helpful and fair. They even found a rental car for me late in the day on a Saturday while they were working on shining up our purchase car. Butch was also great. He shopped out my loan to several banks and did some great negotiating to get me an amazing rate that I couldnt get through my credit union. Overall, I couldnt have been more impressed.
I worked with Miguel to get more information on a used Toyota Sienna before making the 90 minute drive to see it in person. He was very helpful and provided extra pictures and videos to help me see all angles of the vehicle. On the day of our visit I worked with Devin because Miguel was out of town. Devin was very professional. He had the car cleaned and ready to go. The test drive went well and we were able to talk through the details of a trade in of our existing vehicle and an agreeable price on the van. In the end we worked through the paperwork and were done in about 3 hours start to finish. Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend this dealer to my friends.
Thank you Devin and Greg for the best car buying experience. Devin was very patient, professional, knowledgeable and super-helpful. Even after the purchase was finalized, he came outside to help me set up the Bluetooth, and gave me a tutorial on the navigation! He called me several days after my purchase to make sure I was enjoying my new car and to offer his assistance with anything I couldnt figure out. We worked with Greg for financing and he was equally professional, patient but most importantly he was honest. He explained all that they had to offer, gave his honest, objective advice and didnt pressure us to buy anything we didnt need. Thank you Volvo Cars Annapolis for the great experience and hot chocolate:) Rahel B.
I’m having a baby in a few months so I want to get my car tuned up (factory maintenance) to avoid any problems when she arrives. I scheduled an appointment to have my car picked up at 9:30 back on 6/22 online to be serviced. I called to confirm yesterday 6/29 the day before service and was told they are having a problem and I wasn’t registered at all even though I received email confirmation.? I rescheduled with them and was sent ANOTHER confirmation and ensured that my vehicle would be picked up tomorrow. It’s 10:30 the day of my appointment I call and find out that no one is coming even though I spent a great deal of my time yesterday on the phone confirming my appointment and the services the car required. I was told they can leave right now to pick up my car. UNACCEPTABLE UNPROFESSIONAL and UNHELPFUL would describe the service I recieved at this dealership. Thank god I have an alternative that’s just as pricy but will get the job done without adding stress and inconvenience. If you value your time and money take your car somewhere else to be serviced.
Thom is an excellent salesperson. I talked to most of the Volvo dealers in the DC area and he was the guy I wanted to do business with at the end of the day. It was worth the drive to Annapolis. I got to meet the manager, Steve, and other members of the team (like the outstanding tech guy who explains everything after you buy the car). I wouldnt buy a Volvo without checking with these guys first. They were true to their word every step of the way.
My wife and I bought our Volvos from this dealer a number of years ago, both with fond memories. My wife’s 2011 XC-60 now has 113,000 miles on it and those with similar models may be aware of a well-documented issue regarding bearings wearing out inside the rear differential. Annapolis Volvo like most dealers won’t repair them. They will however replace the whole unit for just under $12,000. This happy news was conveyed early one morning by Walt from their service department. I’m sure he’s a wonderful guy with many years experience in customer relations…and we all have bad days… but you’d think giving us a repair estimate of $12,000 might come with a grain of empathy or a provision for lower cost alternatives. The only thing he offered was an indifferent shrug and the 800 number for Volvo customer service for any complaints we may have. A call back to Walt a few weeks later to pursue the option of a used differential was never followed up. After much research we discovered these units can be rebuilt for about $3000 but of course the dealer doesn’t make any profit on repairs so they sell you the $12,000 fix. For those who would spend $12,000 as quickly as they might spend $30 to replace a headlamp bulb this review won’t mean much. But to everyone else I would suggest taking the time to research independent specialty shops where rather than offering donuts, coffee and a carwash they might provide a sympathetic ear and a realistic solution.
Very professional.
George is an awesome salesman! The customer service from this place is phenomenal! Austin helped me out as well by way of delivering my vehicle! Great prices, great staff, great place!
Great dealership, however, when I purchased my new XC90 I didnt foresee that I would need new rotors and pads on six different occasions by the time I hit 40,000 miles. Each occasion costing approximately $900. Just got the latest bill for this service as well during this COVID-19 pandemic. This is simply too costly.
Great customer service
DO NOT BUY A “ SUPPOSEDLY “ PREOWNED CARBOUGHT A XC60 2018 and it has been back for repairs that should have been checked during their certification . Only had the car for 4 months . Bad business
Overall terrible service experience. Night before scheduled service - got a call Karwin the service manager that no loaner would be available and my service would be rescheduled to a week later. Had to get talk GM to get a loaner for the scheduled appointment. Loaner car was dirty and smelled of oil and grease. I picked up car after service and noticed they hadn’t bothered to do the complimentary wash or clean. Had to ask Luis the agent ( who had a nonchalant attitude the whole time ) to get the car cleaned. Very dissatisfied with mediocre service. Waste of time.
Everyone in the Volvo Pre-owned center was very welcoming and treated us like family. George is a wonderful salesman and keeps everything 100% with you. I enjoyed working with him from the time I called the store up until the purchase and even still. The manager Steve was very nice as well and does what is necessary to ensure the customer is satisfied. The service we received here is excellent. I highly recommend paying them a visit for your next vehicle. :)
Best dealership ever! Amy and Bobby are good people, and so is the rest of the team, they treat u like family! They have my business for life!
I had the chance to work with Devin and I couldnt be happier with my experience. I was looking for weeks before I found this car and something about the entire process just felt right. Devin was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, not pushy at all, and not trying to sell something I wasnt interested in. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially working with Devin if you want a straight forward, honest, and efficient car purchasing experience.
They helped me when my tire started to wobble when I came off the bay Bridge. They let us use there Jack. Thank you Volvo dealership
Always kind and curious. The service department is quick with the estimate and repairs. Waiting room is nice and comfortable.
Two words - Bobby Johnson. A little background to help explain. I do not like buying cars; going to the dentist and buying a car fall into the same category for me - a bit of anxiety mixed with a tinge of numbness and pain that I am expected to pay for.My previous experiences have involved the hard sell, the ‘up sell’, and even being ignored. As such, Ive taken a new approach and have called in the help of an experienced buyer, my husband, to help do the leg work. I ask him to go in and test drive the car(s) and screen the dealerships and salespeople. With a narrowed candidate list, I then meet with the top contenders. After a day of recon, my husband came home enthusiastic that he had found a car AND a salesperson that I would like. I was a bit skeptical but agreed to go and look at the car that evening and meet this ‘Bobby’ guy I would supposedly like. To my husband’s credit, he was right. I liked the car but more importantly, I really liked Bobby. He was the perfect blend of professional and approachable; he was extremely knowledgeable about the car and addressed my questions and concerns with patience and understanding. He stayed late to talk me through specifics about the car and options on financing. I was almost sold. We went home and discussed next steps and opted to come back the next day to make the purchase. We let Bobby know and he said he would be there when we came in the next evening.Driving to the dealership to the following evening to purchase car I received some tragic news. The car was no longer a priority. We called Bobby and let him know that we needed to put things on hold. He was thoughtful and shared condolences. We would be back in touch. We came back to buy the car and Bobby was there – on his day off. He greeted us with a warm handshake and had everything in order for us to ensure a seamless transaction. I’m not sure if we would have come back had it not been for Bobby. His approach isn’t that of a salesperson, it’s that of a trusted colleague. He has the right balance of professionalism and personable approach. He instills confidence through his product knowledge and respectful manner. I wanted a safe and practical car, what I got was a lot more – I really like my new car, but I think I might like Bobby more.
Me and my girlfriend just had the best purchase experience. Thank you for the great staffs and services
This service department is an absolute joke. I did not buy my car here, so I can’t speak to the sales experience.I have a company car that requires service happen at the dealership for the first year. The first time I came was for my first oil change. I indicated on the phone when scheduling the appointment that I would be waiting for the car. It took 2 hours... a long time, but nothing compared to my next experiences.I brought the car again (new car, less than 15k miles) to be inspected to transition car registration to Maryland. There was a small chip in the windshield on the passenger side, it was smaller than a dime (I measured with a dime from the inside and outside). I was told that the car could not pass inspection because of the “chip that is bigger than 1/2 inch.” I brought the service rep out to the car with me. Showed him that the chip was definitely not 1/2 inch, as it was smaller than a dime. He agreed and went to talk with the inspector about passing my car. When he came back out he told me the inspector would not pass my car because of “a variety of micro cracks around the windshield that add up to larger than a half inch.”... um, what? What’s a micro crack? How do you quantify a micro crack? What is the math used to add up all these “micro cracks” with the small chip to get an issue bigger than a 1/2 inch. They were incredibly condescending and wouldn’t explain anything else to me. They told me I needed to get the windshield replaced, but once I did I could just swing back in with the car and they could pass the car within a matter of minutes. This time I’m at the dealership for 2.5 hours. To inspect a new car. With an appointment.I got the windshield replaced, the auto glass technician said he has never replaced a windshield for such a small crack that is not in the driver’s field of view. Because, remember, the “micro cracks”... whatever, the windshield is replaced.I call the service department at the dealership to verify I just need to swing back in with the car. They tell me yes, no problem, won’t take long. I bring the car in the next day. Then they tell me that it has been more than 1000 miles since the last inspection so the car needs to be fully inspected again. A total joke. I drive for work, so mileage adds up fast; this 1k mile limit was NEVER mentioned in all the times I talked to the dealership. Additionally, I’m pretty positive there was no reason that my car didn’t pass in the first place, other than nobody being willing to admit they were wrong.Maybe they tried to pull something over on me, maybe they just made a simple mistake with the first inspection. Either way this entire fiasco is completely unnecessary.Take your Volvo somewhere else, anywhere else, for service. Unless you enjoy spending several of your days at a car dealership, then come for sure.
I bought a used Volvo and they treated me like I was purchasing a new one. Lawrence made the transaction super easy and quick. He even made a follow up to check on me and make sure I knew how to work all the buttons. Would highly recommend to anyone.
The reason this dealership does not get a lower review star rating is because I do like the product. Today this particular Volvo dealership lost my loyalty, when they called my loyalty, honesty, and integrity into question. As a 24-year veteran in the Armed Forces, I know a little something about loyalty, honesty, and integrity. It is very disappointing that as soon as Bonnie was done dealing with me, which was evident in a very abrupt change in tone over the phone, she passed me to Adam. Adam was courteous, but just didnt seem to get it. I purchased my S80 on 29May09 with a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty. On 02Jun09, Annapolis Volvo ran a 5-year warranty deal for new customers. Kaye, my sales agent, informed me in March 2012, that because I was so close to the 02Jun09 special, Volvo Annapolis was also extending my warranty to the 5-year special. The March 2012 invoice for service showed WARRANTY in all the charge amounts, meaning covered by warranty. When I took my Volvo for service this on 29Jan14, I noticed they charge $277 and some change. It wasnt till I l left the dealership it struck me that I am still in the 5 year window for warranty/service work. When I called and explained this to Bonnie, she took my number and told me she would talk to the service department to investigate. When she called me today, 04Feb14, she informed me that Volvo Annapolis researched the specials from 2009 and determined I did not qualify for a 5-year warranty/service because of my sale date and the date the 5-year was offered to new customers. Bonnie transferred my call to Adam who explained to me that the invoice from March 2012 was not proof of my 5-year warranty because Volvo Annapolis could have just decided during that particular visit, on that particular day to, more or less, comp my service and eat the expense in-house. I just dont think either Bonnie, who has been mostly pleasant during other visits for service, or Adam, who again was not rude in any way, took much time to consider the event from the customers perspective. Good luck Annapolis Volvo, you lost a loyal customer today.
My husband and I had the most wonderful experience yesterday at Annapolis Volvo. Anthony and Butch were so patient and helped us find our very first Volvo. We are thrilled with the car that we got an incredible deal on. For me, the experience of purchasing a luxury car in my price range was better then I could have imagined. I am thrilled to have a great 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Before I made the purchase I looked around and no one could come near the great warranty or the amazing price. On the way home from the dealership my husband said to me we are going to be a Volvo family. I cant wait to get our next Volvo!!Thank you Anthony and Butch for being so great!
Volvo Annapolis was friendly and attentive right up to the point of sale. When we left, we had a few problems (dings on our used car that they hadnt told us about, which we only saw in the full light the next day, missing manual, etc.) Working with them to get these resolved required weeks of hounding, unreturned calls, and promises with no follow-up. It was a headache and clear that we were no longer of interest to them.Jump ahead two years, and we start getting monthly emails and phone calls from them inviting us to purchase another new Volvo - even though we just got one. As before, no amount of politely declining or, later, more directly asking them to please, please stop bugging us gets any sort of response or change in behavior. At this point, we are resigned to receiving our monthly email and phone call from Anthony Ferrogine asking us to buy again. Im sure they would stop all contact again if only we would write another check.Separately, we do like the Volvo that we did get from them.
I worked with Miguel and he was friendly, honest and very easy to deal with. I dont like when car salesman waste NY time with Miguel and he certainly made my buying experience quick and simple. Highly recommend.
Buyers beware! I called about the price of a truck and even showed proof of what was advertised online. After speaking with a Salesman Lawrence he gave his word that he would honor the price online. Once I showed up to make the purchase he would not honor the price. Even when we showed proof of the price online this dealership pushed the blame to someone else by saying it was a clerical error. He simply said my mistake and that it was a matter of semantics. In other words he did not give me the choice to drive an hour and a half one way. All Im saying is this place does not stand by their word. Being a retired veteran what else do you have if you dont have your word to stand on. All excitement lost just because one salesman could not keep his word. Disappointed.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!I went to Volvo of Annapolis on 1/23 with a pre-approval letter from my bank. Found a car I liked and was told it was Maryland State Inspected (its the law) and decided to move forward with the purchase. Gave them my down payment and was out the door in under an hour happy as can be!Little did I know....That instead of running my credit app through MY bank as requested and instructed, Volvo of Annapolis instead shopped my credit through their own sources (2 hard inquiries - NONE with my bank) and I ended up with a loan through Ally Bank at 3% higher than my pre approval with MY bank AND THEN I find out the car Volvo of Annapolis sold me NEVER EVER was Maryland Inspected. Lies!!!!For over a month, Volvo of Annapolis has perpetrated this hoax and put profits over my familys safety and allowed us to drive in a car that may or may not be safe to even be on the road but was happy as can be to take my money. After speaking to Anthony Ferrigine (Sales Manager at Volvo of Annapolis) to try and resolve this illegal mess reasonably, Volvo of Annapolis refuses to do so. Instead of doing the right thing and being accountable they gave me an ultimatum which I refused to accept because Im not going to be bullied by a car dealership that cant even do their job at their job.The only thing I did wrong was show up at Annapolis Volvo trying to buy a car. Buyer beware. Still seeking a resolution through the powers that be. Print and Television. Local and State Government. BBB. Chamber of Commerce. Etc etcIN RESPONSE TO THE DEALERSHIPS REPLY LIEThats a complete fabrication and a flat out lie. Tony said the car was Maryland state inspected FIRST thing upon sitting down in his office. Then I told him I want to do financing through Capital One and gave him my Maryland state drivers license and my pre-approval letter from Capital One along with my down payment.Only after things had moved forward did I mention that I wanted to have my tags transferred over. At the end of the entire deal. Which changes nothing because your man said it was Maryland state inspected at the very beginning of the deal.I came in to buy a Maryland state inspected car. Tony said that it was. I came in with my pre-approval letter from Capital One which is my bank and who I wanted to do business with. I told Tony that after he told me that the car was Maryland state inspected. Your dealership didnt do any of those things. You guys tried to run a scam on me after you found out that I wanted to switch my tags to North Carolina because you knew that car was never md inspected and you guys wanted to save a dime on getting it inspected while double-dipping and running my credit with outside unapproved unauthorized banking agencies.Annapolis Volvo started the process with lies. I will not be bullied I will not be lied to I will not be sold a false bill of goods under the pretense of doing everything above-board and legal eagle. I brought it to your guys attention as soon as I find out because you guys didnt do your job at your job and disclose that immediately. I would never have purchased the car had you guys been honest up front. I will see this through to the end believe that. Now you guys are running trying to scramble and make up a cover story. Try to bully me with your ultimatum that either forces me to do business with you or crooked lying thieving malicious company or I get my money back and just deal with my now deflated credit score and have no car because you guys cant do your job at your job. The facts are going to come out. They already are. Your spin story isnt going to work because youre stacking lies on top of stacking lies. The only thing I tried to recoup with everything you guys took from me maliciously and by design.
Lee Tratnyek provided outstanding service. As educated consumers we wanted to explore all our options. Lee was patient and answered our questions promptly. He was quick to return our emails and provide us with various vehicles, according to our preferences. We felt he was an excellent advocate and matched us with the vehicle that would best meet our needs.
Service was great, in and out in 1 day. Timing belt, water pump, misc components, recommended fixes. 2005 XC90 drives like almost new. Back on the road with safe vehicle for the family.
Best dealership ever! Amy and Bobby are good people, and so is the rest of the team, they treat u like family! They have my business for life!
Best car leasing experience. I worked with Ola, the best car sales man I have ever worked with. He got me an excellent deal on XC60. Moreover, he delivered the car from Annapolis to Silver Spring and saved me time and money. The car had permenant tags. He showed me around the car and answered all my questions. I absolutely recommend him if anyone wants to buy or lease Volvo.
Annapolis Volvo made me feel comfortable and was a pleasure to work with. They rock!! (Purchased a CPO XC90)
After a disappointing experience with this dealership five or so years, ago I thought I would try again; mistake on my part. Dealing with being shuffled about on their voicemail, did not yield an answer to my very simple question. If you seek to increase the level of frustration in your life, then this business is for you; if not you may wish to look elsewhere.
The service attendants are excellent as usual, it just seems this time around the complimentary car wash was definitely not the standard. The wheel alignment felt a little off but, I called back and the service rep was able to explain what I was feeling. I drive all the way from NY to MD for service, so that means something... cya next time!!
Bought a 2017 V90CC and had a great experience with Ola and Annapolis Volvo. Sent an inquiry on July 4th when the dealership was closed and Ola emailed me back within minutes. I live in DC so Annapolis Volvo is a little far to get to but they offered the best deal, and I was able to arrange everything with Ola by email ahead of time. When I arrived, they had the car covered and waiting for me in the showroom, so they could unveil it when I got there! A nice touch. Only had to sign a few papers and was out the door and headed back to DC in no time. Would highly recommend working with Ola - very professional and pleasant.
Thanks so much to Lloyd and the whole Volvo team for delivering our beautiful new car! Everything came together exactly as we hoped and we look forward to returning to the Annapolis Volvo quality experience for service and Maintenance in the future.Sales and finance team are excellent = clear, friendly and straightforward. Great job!
It was the worst experience trying to retrieve my Volvo XC90 that was fully paid for. You would think that one Volvo dealership would honor the promises rendered by a fellow dealership but that wasnt the case. I drove more that an hour and had to leave without the vehicle that I paid for due to a lack of communication.
Great experience with the service department. Always courteous and efficient. In my experience, whenever a warranty issue was in doubt Annapolis Volvo always covered the cost. They do have the philosophy that customer satisfaction is most imortant!
Thank you to Anthony, Mike, Royce, and Sherry for a wonderful buying experience on a CPO Volvo. It was great being able to work out the ideal car via email. Everyone was very helpful, courteous, and professional. Overall I am very happy with the experience and especially with the purchase.
We went to Bill kidds in Cockeysville and a young man named Sam kept addressing us as ...guys. We are two older women. Even when we addressed it he still kept saying guys. Take our cash money elsewhere
I met the owner of Volvo Cars Annapolis when completing a purchase of an XC60. Ryan Crawford was my salesman, very personable and helpful guy. Thank you all. Cant go without a shout out to Walt in service. The service department of this dealership is really great as well.
They are very dishonest and they lost me as a customer, I advice you to take your car to another dealer and see the difference.
