Highly recommend. We were stiffed upon arrival in Ann Arbor by U-Haul (do not count on them to have a space available even with a reservation). Joe Owen at Cube Smart stayed late on a Friday evening to get us into a storage unit. He was awesome. Storage area was perfect. Clean and dry and easy to get items into. There is no reason to look anywhere else in the area.

The customer service exceeded my expectations! Matthew was super helpful from my initial contact to the day I vacated the storage unit. CubeSmart was an awesome experience. No complaints whatsoever!!!

Not a fan. This facility has changed hands a couple times in the past few years, so I cant put all the blame on the current ownership, but several years ago there was a leak above our unit that ruined many boxes of documents. We cleaned that up, and they assured me theyd fix the leak. Well, last month their roof leaked again, and ruined more boxes of documents. I emailed their support address for help, and didnt get any response. When I was in most recently figuring out how to clean up the mess, the manager of the facility did come over to let me know hed gotten the email and had forwarded on to regional management, but I havent heard back from them. Id advise you to look somewhere else for your storage needs.Update 3/5: Sending a third email to that help address, per your comment below.Update 3/10: Still no response to any of my 3 emails.Update 3/18: Moved out, as they still havent responded. The on site manager came over to talk to me as we packed up all of our documents that didnt get ruined, and disassembled our now moldy shelves to throw away. He said hed emailed regional management several times, but wasnt getting a response. He said the company believes the owner should be responsible for things like this, and the owner believes the company should be. I dont understand the setup, but if the buck stops with nobody, my bucks are going somewhere else.

My fiancé unit got flooded and they didn’t call her to let her know. It was only a fluke that we happened to go by to drop some things off that we found out. Water everywhere! Just some soggy cardboard boxes but the family in the next unit had severe damage to their belongings and the management was not being helpful to them. Just excuses. She was not told that there is a great deal of flooding when it rains when she rented the unit and they were well aware bc the manager told us he wouldn’t have put us in that unit if he knew it was one of the units that took on water. Wow. No thanks.

Convenient storage location close to Ann Arbor, we appreciated that they were temperature controlled for our belongings. Some of the storage units are a bit further walk than others, but its easy to pull the back of the truck up to the main lobby area, and then you probably dont need to walk more than 100 feet. The GM, Nichole, was wonderful, very friendly and helpful with all our questions and needs (we had an issue where we needed to re-access the storage unit we vacated, our own fault) even when she was super swamped with customers for school-day move in. Good pricing, highly recommend!

Excellent location with very easy access, wide hallways, moving dollies always available, and temperature controlled units. Online payment system with reminders was a great feature and made it easy to manage remotely.

Easy setup, good system, clean facilities, friendly people. Carts could be upgraded and wheels fixed, but other than that, great experience.

Erin is THE BEST!! This will be our second year using this company for our storage needs and she is always available and helpful! As an out-of-state student, it can be difficult to secure storage, especially for a reasonable price in a place like Ann Arbor, but she has communicated quickly and clearly with both my parents across the country and myself here locally. She is understanding and empathetic to the unique issues of my situation and goes above and beyond to ensure that all of my needs are met! The storage facility itself is in an easily accessible location with excellent security. The units are clean and well-kept (by Erin herself!), so you know that your belongings will be just as you left them when you return to get them in the fall. I truly have had an exceptional experience using this company and thats all thanks to Erin and the hard work that she puts in simply because she genuinely cares about the customers. I cant recommend this company or Erin strongly enough!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!

Erin is so helpful and she moves fast. She also has a lot of great info to provide. She runs the whole show there and was totally transparent about the availabilities and renting options. I needed a unit this morning and she got me set up within 30 minutes of walking in. I did an online reservation before hand and the process was super easy. I even got to take advantage of a special promo for a 12x15 unit where the first month was free, and the unit is month to month. So convenient! I’m glad we decided to use simply self storage.

She made my storage experience very easy and truly hassle-free.There was a little mix-up with my unit reservation, which of course I wasn’t too happy about at first. But, Jennifer was able to solve the problem quickly and efficiently. This storage facility has the best features for security, privacy, and rates in town. Aaron is the store manager is very helpful and very friendly. Could have talked to her for hours. She helped make sure I got the appropriate size storage unit and instructed me on how to put my belongings in it correctly. Money well spent for peace of mind. I recommend State Street Simply Storage to all my classmates.

Be careful with the new management. They are not professional and do not pro-rate for partial months. Buyer beware. Use at your own risk.

Very sweet individuals here! Erin was the one who called after I made the online reservation, and, she helped me with the move in. Then when I had a request while out of the country, her colleague, Jennifer, was super responsive and easy to communicate with. They are a great team and I feel confident that I am fully taken care of here.

I would not have given this storage facility if it was not for Erin. I have had some problems with one of their other employees but, just like she did on my first day of moving in, today she made sure that all of my needs were taken care of and HER customer service is what is keeping me as a customer. Without her, this facility would have some rough times. I cannot express how amazing she is and how good she is at her job.

A cheap and great place to store your car. Erin was really nice and helpful! She helped me walk through the whole process with ease and little confusion.

I ultimately chose this facility for several reasons. I was able to gain 24 hour access and they had the best loading area isolated from the elements with plenty of space. The icing on the cake was working with Ryan he was very personable and patient. He was able to answer all of my questions and unlike some facilities, that just showed me a fake storage space and said here are the sizes, he gave me a tour.. They do have the sizes in the lobby area to show you but his willingness to show me how everything worked along with what would be my storage unit ultimately tipped the scales in my decision. I wish I could give 5 stars but my one concern is that they can raise your price based on availability. Ryan was very upfront about this and offered a few solutions. He was very forthright in this corporate policy. It is month to month there so raising the price isnt that big of a concern. If it gets too high you can leave. I would recommend this facility based on cleanliness and fantastic customer service.

It was super easy to move in and ended up being much cheaper than expected. Checking in was super easy and the lock was even included in the fees! Definitely coming back here for my storage needs in the future.

Erin was absolutely the best help I’ve received at any storage place location. I have used over 10 different locations throughout the US, and I have never had such a great customer service experience as the one I had with her. She took all the time I needed to show me the units available and even walked through how my furniture could fit to get the unit that best fit my needs.

Erin, the store manager, was a pleasure to work with. She kindly called to inform us of a payment issue, and she patiently helped us to resolve the issue. Despite the very hectic day she was having, she never stopped being pleasant and helpful, which, given the long day I had, was most appreciated. If you have stuff to store, I recommend this store. The state street building is so well maintained and the customer service is phenomenal. The monthly rates are on the high end BUT the facility manager ERIN is totally worth every dollar! And her new assistant is fearless, ready to help asap.

On Monday 6/25/18 Jennifer was amazing. She stood up and greeted me. That put me in shock because the other places that I shopped around at they dont stand up. She told me that your prices are a little higher than the rest of the storage places because of it is right down the road from University of Michigan, which I understand why that would make a lot of impact on the prices. Jennifer is a great sales person and property manager. She is a very good asset to this company. Although I am not renting from you guys, Jennifer makes me want to come back and rent. If I had more money I would.

Simply Self Storage is simple, and easy, and they work with you to make sure you are not overpaying for your budget! The security features are over the top, but the building is clean and very well lit. I had no time to move, but Erin made it easy and helped me through the entire process. Highly recommended!

Called ahead of time to see how long I could reserve a unit in advance for fall semester. Erin, the manager, was so helpful and knowledgable. She made sure I got the best rate and could move in sooner than I wanted without paying an arm and a leg. Ann Arbor State Street Self Storage is the best builiding for any college dorm furnitiutre clothes and personal belongings. The whole building is cool, clean, and have no bugs!

Called here to get a quote on a unit. The man who answered the phone was very impolite, and took much longer than necessary to pull up a simple price. After I finally got the quote, I thanked him and tried to get off the phone, but he just wouldnt let me go. My other line was beeping, so I was trying to get off quickly and politely, but each Thank you, goodbye! caused him to talk harder and faster, trying to get out his schpeel. I ended up cutting him off and hanging up- ALL I WANTED WAS A QUOTE. I ended up missing the call on the other line, but thats ok, because it was THEM, using caller ID to call me back! I would not recommend this company, just on their phone etiquette!! They were also one of the highest quotes that I received...No thanks!
