Called in for some information on their coco coir products and spoke to an agent that was very knowledgeable with the coco coir. These people know what their doing and I would highly recommend taking a visit to their store. 10/10 would call again.

The staff at The Grow Show is always incredibly knowledgeable. If you are an outdoor or indoor gardener, this place is like Candy Land!

Everytime I go to this place, the staff is condescending or apathetic at best. Unless you want to be talked down to, Id suggest ordering online or finding somewhere else.

Three quarters of staff does not wear masks, there seem to be no safety protocols in place, staff also allows customers in without masks. COVID-19 is killing people and they can’t wear masks or create a safe environment to shop. We are more than one year into a pandemic and this store and its owners clearly do not care about the health and safety of its employees or its customers or helping end this deadly disease, and seem to be actively be vectors of the disease. This establishment is a prime example of why this pandemic won’t end, and I will be spending my money elsewhere that follows safety protocols. I’ve had COVID-19 disease, it was horrible and I had long term effects occur, also now have been vaccinated. Please change, and I will happily return and change my review.

The staff is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. It’s a pity I see someone’s review complaining that the staff are white and have beards. I didn’t know that was a reason to leave a bad review? Don’t their lives matter? I am very happy the store is open minded with the masks and are willing to allow people to decide their own comfort level. I’ve been buying there for years and have nothing but good experiences.

I am a bit conflicted to leave a negative review, but I just dont understand why the employees at Grow Show are either not wearing their masks, or barely wearing their masks? I work at U-M Hospital, and I also care for my elderly parents. I am being very careful in my work and personal life so not to put my parents or patients at risk. These employees blatant and callous disregard for others well-being is just selfish. Im sure there are people coming into this shop who are immunocompromised. I would love some sort of explanation for this behavior. I like the store and the products, but will be shopping elsewhere from now on, as the message they send about how they care about their customers health is clear.

I rarely go in here because I live an hour away but work in town. Every time I go in I’m reminded how rude these ppl are in here, it’s like it’s intentional. Condescending and passive aggressive to be specific, every associate I’ve encountered on my 3 visits.

Made me a bit uncomfortable. 5 larger bearded white dudes who werent exactly welcoming, had a bit of a paramilitary unit feel. Not what I wanted from a grow store.

The first red flags were the signs on the door reading, Gretchen says you have to wear a mask and We will assume anyone not wearing a mask has a medical condition, and due to HIPAA law, we will not ask.Not only is this factually incorrect (HIPAA only applies to healthcare facilities), its an incredibly dangerous attitude. The employees only wore their face coverings some of the time (and they were gaiters, which are notorious for not actually protecting from COVID-19 spread). The cashier rung me up with no mask and there was no plastic barrier between us. I asked about the signs on the door and the cashier informed me he was over this whole curbside pickup thing. Seems to me, those signs are a dogwhistle to signal that they think mask-wearing is not important enough to enforce.For people who obviously understand some science (successfully growing things requires a lot of knowledge!), I would have expected them to be more open to following safety protocols, instead of ridiculing and disparaging the methods that keep our community safe.I gave them a fair shake, but I wont be back. Be better.

Cocky, think they know it all and totally rude to new people Ive witnessed this myself. this place could close their doors and no one would really care. Ive gotten everything for cheaper with less hassle just a few more minutes down the road at GROW GREE MI. You suck grow show, enjoy this review!

These dudes are solid and anwser all your questions. The store has everything from hydroponics to micro bacteria super solid love this place.

This place has everything I need, and then some! My only complaint is the customer service is kind of sparse.

Excellent store. I have been there a few times, always knowledgeable and professional. I ordered a small $12 item they didnt have in stock, but i needed asap. They went way out their way to get if for me next day. Excellent customer service! I highly recommend.

They always have what I need here! Their savings program is also great, more u spend the greater the discount.

Ive been to the Grow Show many of times and every time greeted with a smile. This very knowledgeable staff are some of the most pleasant people to work with and are the first to lend a helping hand. From one on one discussions to being involved in a group discussion, Ive never left the store with questions or concerns. A+++ and top choice of grow shops in the Ann Arbor area.

Very knowledgeable and helpful, didnt try to talk us into more expensive products and helped explain the differences in the products and which were truly worth shelling out the extra money. Gave us a nice 10% off and a free lighter. Would definitely recommend!

They have good prices on flood tables and reservoirs, will price match, and they carry hard-to-find chemicals like Eagle 20.I used to be a die-hard HTG Supply shopper, but these guys won me over with their professionalism and high quality products. Staff is very helpful, you wont have to lift a finger if buying something weighing over 10 pounds. Staff is resourcful and they will not sell you anything you do not need thats an A++ to me. Prices are good and competitive to other places around. I drive from belleville just because of these reasons.

Good selection and they can order whatever they dont have that you need. Employees are usually knowledgeable and helpful, albeit a bit set in their own way of doing things. They price match so pricing is always competitive if you do your own research first. Not as friendly or welcoming as Gro Blue, but theyre a bigger place and the employees dont own the shop so of course it doesnt have the mom & pop shop feel. Grow Show is my go to for intermediate sized purchases. For large purchases, I choose HTG Supply because their prices cant be beat. For small, daily type things, Id recommend Gro Blue.
