We have had our hot tub 2 years. After year one, we had to replace the circulating pump. It was done under warranty and I appreciated that, however, a circulating pump on an expensive, brand new hot tub should certainly last beyond a year. Year two, the circulating pump stopped again; this time, it was the heater. After only two years. It was tripping the pump. So this time we had to pay $410 dollars for a new heater. And I repeat…after only two years. Yup. Definitely detecting a theme here. I’ve had ten dollar wading pools show less signs of inferior quality.I am very disappointed in what appears to be a life of consistent, yearly repairs for a product absolutely not commensurate with the sales pitch we got prior to signing on the dotted line. So whether my review remains at only one star is yet to be seen; we’ll see what surprises year three brings. If these first two years were just a fluke, I’ll be happy to raise it; if, however, this becomes apparent that we were sold a product of lesser quality, that we purchased on good faith, then the number of stars in a review will be the least of my actions.
The salesman did not have the hot tub steps new in stock but he had a couple sets that of course they were using in the store which he volunteered to sell me a slightly used set and made it very easy for me to purchase through the store good job
LOVE MY NEW HOTTUB! Huge thanks to Jeff and Chris on the maintenance team for the extra help with our set up questions when things werent going as planned. The customer service here is top notch. Would give more stars if I could! Cant wait to enjoy this spa for many years to come!
We bought our hot tub at Leisure Works a few years ago and havent really had any issues that cant be fixed with a good filter cleaning. Recently, one of the pumps started making weird noises. Chris came out and said that 9/10 times something has just gotten caught in the circulating pump. (we have kids, so think goggles, small toys, etc) Sure enough when he came out to fix it, thats exactly what it was! He also gave me a quick tutorial on things I could do to better maintain my hot tub. I dont know much about hot tub pumps but I was prepared for a major repair and if he werent an honest guy...he probably could have charged me for larger repair and I wouldnt have known any better. I found him to be knowledgeable and trust worthy...will definitely request him again for future service calls.
Always an easy experience. These guys always have the chemicals, filters and advise I need.
As outlined in some other reviews here, we also had problems with the service tech (Chris) and owner (Kreg). We felt that the maintenance work was done poorly and that there was little regard for being careful during the service. We also felt that the owner was unnecessarily rude/short when we followed-up to express our concerns about what happened.There are many other hot tub stores in the area; wed recommend making your purchase elsewhere to avoid the types of problems that we and others here have experienced.
Great place to do business, Brian was very helpful in the sale and the guys that delivered the trailer have that down to a science. They could not have been more helpful and informative upon delivery. Great job guys!
I am disappointed with their customer service. I purchased my spa years ago from this company and have been a loyal customer buying supplies even through this pandemic. It would have been faster to go through Amazon at times but we chose to be loyal to Leisure Works. Up till this month, we have been pleased. They say they have the highest quality staff and best customer care. Our tub kept shutting off. My husband went in to discuss the issues with their staff. We ordered a heater, it didn’t work, they figured they ordered wrong part. So they took it back. Then contacted store in Novi, said they no longer made our heater for our spa and needed to order entire unit. So we did. That didn’t solve problem, as it shut off. When my husband went to return, they said no. We don’t take that back. We bought on your suggestion( qualified staff), no where is it posted, not on receipt, not told to my husband. My husband walked out with unit($400). This is not ok. I thought 2 possibilities- return or store credit. We have been a customer for many years. I work hard for my my money ( teacher) out $400 is a lot of money! I also asked is posted on line. The staff member I spoke with says it’s posted all over website. I looked through many sites and do not find. It appears they don’t need my business ( and another families as I purchased supplies for them too) and will be going elsewhere in the future. I am saddened by this transaction as we try to support local. I was sad as they accepted first return.So here is my suggestion, before purchasing even with receipt, ask if you can return. I had a leak somewhere in my tub. They gave me some tips over the phone to see if I could diagnose the problem. Bingo! A gasket had failed. They had the part and I was back in business. They also helped when I tried to restart the tub and it had airlock. Thanks guys.
Purchased a hot tub heater replacement which I was told covers with a 1 yr warranty. Lasted about 4 months and went bad. Took the part and receipt into the store to get it warrantied and was told it was not covered now because they didnt install it. Will never purchase another item from their group!
I honestly wouldnt trust anyone else to touch my hot tub. I only go to Leisure Works. Their staff are knowledgable, trustworthy, and show that they care about customers to keep them coming back. Everyone Ive dealt with on their team has been extremely professional. Id highly recommend them.
We recently purchased our spa from here and they were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. You might save a buck buying online but when you add up free delivery, the extra chemicals they included to get started, the quality of the product and knowing your tub will get serviced if required, saving a few dollars might not be the savings you think. Well worth the extra investment.

Awesome company. Bought a new spa from them April 2019. From our sales person Brian walking us through all options applicable to us to the crew that came out and removed our old one then installed the new one the service was professional and personable. We had a minor issue post install and the owner took care of it immediately. I would recommend them to anybody. Thanks for a great buying experience!!!
Two days ago we had our twilight master spa .placed in by leisure works in Ann Arbor . The installers were extremely professional, kind, quick, And the wildest thing was, it was pouring rain outside and they didn’t care. I would truly recommend leisure Works. The staff is really amazing!
The sales staff, is courteous, and knowledgeable. When I went into the showroom on the Sunday after Christmas, there was only one person working (I dont see this as a problem, due to the holiday weekend). The salesman told me right when I walked in the door that there was going to be a little wait, as he was helping another customer at that time. This was okay with me because he let me know immediately. I got what I believe to be a very fair deal on a quality Spa.The delivery occurred on time, and the delivery crew was professional, and competent. The crew did a great job with a tricky installation. They had to maneuver the tub across a couple of fairly steep hills, and did so without doing any damage to the tub or my lawnThe tub is great, everything about the tub itself works just as expected. My only issue lies with the Bluetooth sound system. The system has great sound, but the remote control stopped working the first time we used it in the tub. I brought the remote to Leisure Works and they told me they would go ahead and replace the remote control, even though the manual states that the remote is only water resistant, and not water proof. It is good to see that Leisure Works stands behind the products that they sell.The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is that I feel that the remote control sold with a hot tub really should be water proof, and not just water resistant. Leisure works is not entirely to blame for this, as they are selling the products packaged by Master Spa.My overall experience with Leisure works has been great so far, and I would recommend them to others.
Very nice showroom. We went to the Novi store. Excellent salesman. Great communication. No pressure and very knowledgeable and accessible. He even recommended an electrician who was very good. We loved the whole experience and have been enjoying our hot tub for 2 month without any problems!
Brian was very helpful and awesome throughout the process of buying our hot tub. We had to juggle dates several times in getting the hot tub moved from our garage onto our deck and he was patient and helpful each time. Service after the sale has been great too. We havent had any issue with our hot tub, but we order supplies every now and then and they get to our house within a day or two at the most. Highly recommend!
Back in 2004, I purchased my first Master Spas Hot tub from Leisure Works. The tub was used but only one year old. It was the owners personal unit, and he was upgrading to one with a pop-up TV. For the last 15 years I have been buying parts, supplies and some service from his store. On every occasion of doing business with them, I have been taken care of very well. I have had the worst customer service from this store. I have have two heaters put in in the last year. Both times they did not put the filters in to make sure the hot tub was working. They told me I needed new filters ever other month or so. I have spent an total of 847 in a year on those plus around 400 pm chemicals. They keep blaming it on my water however there was a hot tub here before that worked for ten years with no issues. Please save your money or go to a store that knows how to take care or there customer service
While looking for swim spas, I found most stores pointed at a brochure. When I went to Leisure Works, they had multiple swimspas in stock that I could see, touch, and feel. When I swam in the H2X that was filled and running, I knew I had found the one! My kids are having a blast in the swim spa, and my family thanks you! Craig C. Saline, Mi.
My wife and I purchased a hot tub over 10 years ago at least it works. We elected to upgrade to a new or model this year. We could not be happier with the product, service and support that we have received.

Leisure Works goes above and beyond, exceeding my customer service expectations. i placed an order for filters for my Masterspa, and Leisure Works having my hot tub model called to inform me that i ordered the wrong filters and that the correct ones are on their way. Another ocassion i was inquiring about another orders tracking information and received a reply to my email at 9:42 pm, from Kreg Hasse as to when my order would be received. Awesome, Need i say more!
