Truly a Ann Arbor gem. An extremely knowledgeable staff have saved me numerous times with home projects. They just don’t have stores like this anymore, so glad i live close to it.

Stadium Hardware is one of the best local resources in Ann Arbor. Their staff is friendly and extremely helpful! They are great at helping you find what you need and dont waste your time if they dont have it, they just tell you straight-up. They have a shockingly large selection for a store that doesnt seem so large on the outside, so definitely come looking here first for anything you need.

Stadium Hardware is not a hardware store: it is a LIFE SOLUTION CENTER! I am so impressed!I visited on Saturday June 12 with an impossible proposition: find a solution for the swelled non-functional oil fill cap on my 35 year old Honda motorcycle. Skip was so helpful and to my great surprise resolved my issue fully! After a quick internet search for solutions revealed nothing, he determined the unusual thread diameter and pitch (metric 24x3), found a die in the shop, and skillfully re-cut the threads on the phenolic device. Wow, in 30 minutes I had a solution in my hands that I expected to take weeks! Hats off to Skip and the Stadium Hardware team for being helpful, skillful, equipped, and so kind to me. Classic old school hardware store but in a small strip mall that they have all but taken over.. Vast selection of fasteners and service parts and all at reasonable prices. Self serve or full service. The only thing missing from the old days is the creaky floors, basement new old stock section and poor lighting.

Stadium Hardware is everything a local store should be. Yesterday, my son decided it would be a great idea to spray paint his hands while working on an art project. He then decided to rub his hands together and well....they stuck. It was a quick mom decision of urgent care or the hardware store and I started with Stadium Hardware. They found a solution that wasnt paint thinner (phew) and took him into the bathroom and sprayed his hands with the solution and wiped all the paint away and got his hands completely clean. The poor guy even got the purple spray paint all over his hands in the process. They were kind, helpful, and absolutely amazing. They knew immediately what to do and helped my son in a way that he was amused and felt totally safe.Every interaction Ive had there has been wonderful. No one has ever mansplained or eyerolled at my questions. They are kind, always available to help, and always have an idea of how to help with a project (or a kid with their hands stuck together). I feel so lucky to have them in my neighborhood.

So much better than the big box stores. There is always someone around who can guide you exactly what you need, and if you arent sure they can help you figure it out.

It Simply Doesnt Get Any Better.The guys and gals there know their stuff, are always willing to help, and know how to get creative. Basically the opposite of the big box stores. Also in contrast to the big box stores, theyll almost always have what you need and you wont have to buy a pack of 50 to get the 1 piece you want. I ALWAYS go here first. Theyll even cut, tap, bend or whatever you need (within reason) done to a part you buy if you cant or dont have the tools at home.This place gives you a real sense of why we should support local businesses. The warm people, welcoming culture, and the degree and amount of helpfulness here are just not something you get in a place of business much nowadays. We need to preserve this. If something costs and extra dollar or two, its because youre paying for those invaluable details you will never get at a big box store.Also, by stopping here before anywhere else, I can basically guarantee your projects will go more smoothly with input from these folks. Id pay for some of their wisdom on its own. Thankfully, all you have to do to pick their brain is buy some nuts and bolts haha.

This is a great local store. The employees are super helpful and cheerful. Today one of them threw in a free galvanized metal lid for the large tub I was purchasing because I didn’t realize the lid went with another item and was not sold separately. They didn’t even bat an eye. Thanks, Stadium!

Stadium Hardware is always a great place for One-Stop shopping. I was able to get stove trim rings and grade 8 bolts all in less than 5 minutes. Fantastic.

Today I had a construction tool that I that was giving me trouble and they found the fellow with the most mechanical experience and he fixed the issue! Love this crew!

These folks are The Best :) Ive been coming here for odds and ends for years. Just this morning, they couldnt say for sure when something I needed was going to be available, but helped me out anyway and gave me specific info I needed to find what I was looking for.Just FYI: If you want to support Stadium Hardware, purchasing paper gift certificates in-store supports them directly. They have an outside register, if you dont want to go indoors.

Great old fashion hardware store with good ole boys and a few not old galsgoing out of their way to help. A real small town culture with great customer service & pricing. DO not accidently go to the big design center hardware which is almost in the same parking lot. Customer service is to the point of condescending. I had ordered something online & went in thinking it was Stadium ...when they told me I was in the wrong place they turned around and walked away...NICE!You guys are great! Love this place.

Get your locks re-keyed here!! All the staff here is very attentive and willing to help.My re-key experience: I unscrewed three locks from my new house and brought them here after not having any luck with other local locksmiths being open on the weekend, and certain large chains only offering to re-key locks if you bought them from their store. When I walked in, a staff member was more than willing to assist me with my request. The work took about 15-20 minutes to be done overall, which, in my opinion, is really fast! But the most amazing thing is THE PRICE! I paid $5 per lock, which is SUPER cheap compared to the prices I was quoted by other places.All-in-all, I will definitely be giving Stadium Hardware more of my business in the future! Their customer service is up there with some of the best Ive ever experienced.

I constantly go in with the strangest project specifications, need for a tool that doesnt exist, and sometimes just a problem in need of a solution: EVERY TIME, the employees talk everything out with me and help me come up with a bespoke solution to whatever I bring them.They also have a huge selection of tools, fasteners, and every other thing you would expect of a hardware store, but it is truly the employees that make it so that I wont go anywhere else.

The BEST hardware store in Ann Arbor in my opinion. They are always abundantly staffed so Ive never been stuck in a long checkout line. And that also means that finding a knowledgeable person for a particular is very likely as well. They have a unique stock of all sorts of hardware items that are typically hard to find. Theres literally a little bit of everything youd need to complete whatever DIY project youre working on. As a professional remodeler, theyre my go to hardware store.

This is a truly perfect hardware store! I am not sure how they are able to pack so much stuff into so little space. I do quite a lot of remodeling work and it is rare that they wouldnt have what I am looking for be it wire, boxes of breakers for a rewiring project, couplings for a plumbing repair or stuff for carpentry projects.They also have great quality hardware. While their prices could be a bit higher than big box stores, the price difference is more than made up with superior the quality. For example, their screws are a lot less likely to break or strip than what competitors sell.Their biggest asset are their employees. I am truly impressed by their team of extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Whether you are a newbie or a seasoned DIYer they will help you find exactly what you need for your project.

If I could give a score of 10, I would. Each and every time I have gone in this store, they always have what I need, even if I dont know exactly what it is, and every time they have given me tips and advice if I have questions. I am a fairly handy person when it comes to fixing things, but the crew at Stadium always gives me knowledge that I did not have before. I go out of my way to go to Stadium Hardware, even though I live in Saline. They are the best place to go for the best in products and the absolute best in Service and attitude.

Cannot say enough good things about Stadium. How could one place have SO many helpful, knowledgeable employees. Never a shortage of someone to help and most important they seem happy to...not like the big box where they often seem like theyre trying to get away as fast as possible. They have everything you could possibly need, with the exception of lumber. I just called to see if they have beeswax...and they do! Amazing, friendly service

The most generous customer service I have ever experienced. I came to buy a wrench needed to replace my cars side mirror, instead the owner got his own tools and spent half an hour taking care of the whole project, removed and replaced my car mirror himself. Then he tried to refuse any payment for all of that!

This hardware store clearly knows their target market. They carry all the stuff a homeowner or maintenance person might need, from every day items to the occasional, but necessary, oddball jobs that crop up with home and building needs. Staff is super helpful, they are service and problem solving centric and will step you through your project to the finish. I try to do project work if I can, but have limited scope, and the Stafium staff is always there to help guide me. One thing that stands of about this business is, If they don’t carry something you need in stock, they are happy to order it for you. But being honest, the main reason I go there is because they are always 100% honest in their business approach. For example, If they don’t have the part you need, and they see your really in a jam, they will be the first place to tell you who might have it on stock. They staff really want to help you solve your situations. And for THIS reason alone, that’s why I always go back to Stadium Hardwate again and again, they are honest as the day is long ... and I truly appreciate integrity as part as a business ethos .., wins my loyalty and repeat business eveytime!Thanks for all the saves Stadium Hardware!
