I ordered a phone online and when I received it, it would not activate online. I called customer service and they couldnt activate it either and told me I would have to go into a store. I was annoyed that I would have to do that, because that was the whole point of ordering it online.The representative that helped me out acted like I was intruding on his day. He was unable to get it activated as well after spending about 30 minutes on it. Then he complained that he would have to call in to their support people and then it would take him an hour or an hour and a half. I dont think it occurred to him that it was even more annoying for me because I had already spent an hour on the phone and then had to go up there and wait on him to get it figured out. Im used to representatives trying to be polite and apologizing for how long it takes or thanking me for patience but he never said anything at all that was remotely friendly.Unfortunately he didnt wear a nametag so I have no idea what his name was. I dont usually, but I would have written to them and complain about him.The only reason I gave two stars instead of one was that at least the phone worked when I walked out of there. But then again it was the person he talked to on the phone that fixed it, not him.
I am a reasonable person. This is not one of those bad reviews... in which the person writing it is one of those crazy people. From the bottom of my heart avoid comcast internet... your life will be more joyful.

Great staff. Very helpful. Promptly greeted and asked how they could help. Explained we received emails stating we needed to upgrade our cable box. Old equipment was taken,and we were sent over to Craig. What a super guy. He explained everything, showed us all our features and how to use them. He is very knowledgeable, polite,and friendly. He even answered some questions about Xfinity mobile. My wife and I would recommend the AnnArbor store to anyone. If you need anything or have any questions check them out. All of the staff we worked with were super,and I am sorry I cant remember everyones names.
Not rude at all but very pushy over the phone. Had some basic questions about setting up an account and had to go through a huge process just to have them answered. Not sure if they were even answered correctly because it was clearly a sales call
For the first time in the new store there was a line. Otherwise clean and comfortable.
Went into the store on a Saturday morning and after waiting for nearly 25 minutes to exchange our cable box. The guy gave us a smaller box and said it will work, no need for the bigger box and it will have all the services needed. After hooking up the new smaller box to my TV, I received an error message. Naturally I called Comcast to get it sorted, the first person said they will send a signal and hung up on me, with the second call, the new person said they would look into it and call me back, and I never got my call back. Finally I called again and the third person said I have the wrong box and Comcast will send a new one to my home. After all the calls, you would think they would have told me I got the wrong box on the first call. Once I get the next box, I’ll update the review to see if it works or not. Clearly, the team at this store is not properly trained on the products for their customers.
The representative that was assisting had poor customer service skills and was abrupt and combative as he responded to our questions. During our visit, I witnessed another representative be short and rude to another customer who came in asking how to better use their remote. During our session, the same other rude representative was playing a sports game at their service station next to ours, with the volume up which made it difficult to hear. This is the second time weve had bad service at the Ann Arbor Xfinity store. Will try a different store hoping for better service.
We called to set up internet with xfinity and were told to go to the store to pick up the unit, only to get to the store and have no physical units available. The store employee had to order the equipment and get it shipped to my apartment with a shipping time of 3-5 business days. I then went onto the online account to look for any updates or shipping confirmations and there was nothing. I had to call again and go through the same process only to have 3-5 days shipping once again. This service has been unacceptable.

This specific store and staff are fantastic. This company is THE WORST to deal with. I was a new installation for internet. I had to cancel on the FIRST DAY because of Comcasts shenanigans. RUN AWAY FROM COMCAST. STICK TO ATT OR SOMETHING ELSE. 1800COMCAST IS LITERALLY CANCER.

Comcast made a promise and they didnt keep it. What else is new? Comcast left their service equipment in the street in front of my house. They promised 3 days ago to come by and pick it up. They never showed up. I told them Id throw it in the trash.
Hi Comcast,I rarely write feedback but this store is very good. I went to another ISP and waited for three hours then they told me the service will be installed in 10 days. I was very frustrated. Then I decided to go to Comcast. I worked with Doug at Comcast today. He knows his job very well. He is very quick and responsive and he knows what students really need. I did everything in 15 minutes! Wait what?! Yes in 15 mins. I am very happy! I am using my Comcast network now for the first time and I would like to say THANK YOU SO MUCH, Doug! Comcast keep him. Worst run business ever...long story short...been trying since last October to get someone to bury cable line...meanwhile cable line still sticking out if ground...next time lawn service comes thru...will cut cable line again for 3rd time... have called 4 times...no one shows...waited 5 hours...as promised...no show...promised issue would be resolved... cable line still not buried...no call backs...going tomorrow to cancel service...going to at&t...
The guy that helped me was so rude! He spoke to my boyfriend and not me. My boyfriend does not live with me and his name is not on the service. When I tried to ask him questions, he would answer me in rude argumentative like tone. He had an attitude with me when I first walked in. My boyfriend and I were excited to come into this location because it looked great on the outside and the inside was organized. I will never come into this location again because this man had serious issues. Ugh, even giving this review is making my blood boil again. He made me so mad I was seriously thinking about switching service that day.
We went in to upgrade our phones. My wife and I were helped within a few minutes and the rep took care of us efficiently. We did have to wait for our phones to transfer data, which is obviously out of our control. Other than that, we were in and out.I honestly cant find a reason to nit-pick anything.

I had been explicitly sold an internet plan for a certain amount per month. My bill has been consistently 10$ higher. After many phone calls, and visits I have not been given a resolution or an explanation. Xfinity has lost my patronage, and I urge everyone who reads this to reconsider

What a place of misinformation and half help. I was told that I was getting the best internet and a two year deal by the person I dealt with last year, only to find out I had the medium internet and it was a one year plan...beware as they tell you what they know you want to hear.

I have been into the Xfinity store on oak valley a couple times in the last year, once with my elderly mother and once by myself.The store is beautiful and the service is exceptional!! I went to return equipment and cancel service as I relocate and they gave me no hassle, no attempts to get me to stay, even wished me well on my endeavors. Wonderful folks. The new store is also beautiful.
My wife and I were going to change providers for our internet and home phone (we have two other competing providers in our area and had a very good offer from D & P Communications). Having previously had negative customer experience speaking to Xfinity online and by phone, I decided this time to go to speak in person to an associate at the Ann Arbor office. I had the privilege to work with Ms. Tanya P., who researched the best available plans, and was able to lower my rate because of an available two-service discount. Additionally, she informed me of the extra discount available by putting auto billing and paperless billing on my account. Tanya was professional, ethical, friendly, and helpful--and retained us as a customer when I walked in that day intending to cancel service.Update: A month after the above positive event, I emailed the business to inquire about business services and never got a response back. I am reducing the rating to four stars based on the lack of response to a business inquiry (I directly emailed the manager who had given me his business card previously, but got no reply).
They replaced the remote my dog ate for free, but couldnt help me any more on price of service or options than the website. As a business, I hate Xfinity. Theyre the only option where I live, and are an unapologetic, viscous monopoly. The people here were very nice, however.
Walked in, immediately returned internet box to front desk gentlemen and received receipt. Gentleman instructed us to sit and wait with receipt. Was not sure why we were waiting since the box was already returned. After 25-30minutes, we are seen by the next available assistant, given a sheet of paper to sign and sent on our way (entire encounter was maybe 30 seconds). Not sure why that couldnt have taken place at the front desk instead wasting their time and ours...
I think the crew did their best, but the equipment and instructions were awful. Still can’t get the remotes correct. May switch back to Hulu Live
I have dealt with Comcast in Ann Arbor off and on for about 10 years. Im not sure people are reviewing the same place that I was at today because it was the absolute best service I have ever received from Comcast. The last time I went to the service center it was on Industrial in A2. I walked into the store today and was greeted immediately by Al who said he could help me. I turned in two pieces of equipment from two different accounts mine and my Fathers. Less than 5 minutes all done and out of the door.

Its not at all clear when you walk in that youre supposed to check in with someone to wait your turn to be helped. They were unable to help with our issue and we later learned they absolutely could have done what was requested of them but decided not too. Not sure if the worker was just dumb or if its a tactic to keep you paying more.
Chris and Marques are THE best! Their service is great and theyre not personality deficient which is always a plus. The store is organized and very chic. Everyone is very pleasant and our recent visit was great!

Surprisingly painless experience coming in to change my services. There was hardly any wait, maybe 5 min, and there were comfy couches to sit on. The store was fairly empty and quiet. They werent pushy trying to upsell me, it seemed like they were more genuine in trying to help me find a better deal. I had been putting off going in for months because of how terrible Comcast had always been to deal with, but this was actually okay.
Extremely dissatisfied with my experience with xfinity. I signed up for and joined xfinity in October of 2019. I did my research, compared products, prices, etc. in October xfinity had a great deal going on. I joined. I have since been very disappointed by the service I have received. My rates have gone up every month since October with little to no explanation. I’m currently waiting a call back from “upper management” as no one I have talked to since has been able to help or offer a solution to my issue with my bills. This company will say things to you, promise no price increases but in all reality they will change the price, they will say supply and demand, and they will put fees on your account they are hidden fees that they will NOT tell you about and change those fees month mover month. I’m now paying almost double this month in Jan 2020 then what I signed up for in October 2019. Don’t trust this service. I really do hope when I receive my call back in 7-10 business days they will be able to come up with a solution to keep me as a customer.
The store looks nice, but looks are deceiving. I needed to talk to someone about my bill, since I cancelled auto pay, they STILL charged me. I made a payment on my account, the night before. The very next day the auto pay came out also! I was furious. Stopped at the store, checked in to speak with someone about my bill and my account. After waiting for 20 minutes, I got on the website and requested a call back. Within a minute, I received a call from a customer solutions specialist. I explained my problem and I was told to call my bank and put a stop payment on the auto pay and they would credit my account the amount my bank would charge me for this. My bill also jumped $40 per month after my promotional rate. We value you as a customer... No you dont! You value money and new customers.

I am sure they provide excellent service to their direct and new customers. I went in to sign up for cellular service on top of other services we currently use but my spouse is on the account. I was added as someone who can make decisions but not good enough. I didnt know my spouses SSN by heart and done. No more help was available. According to the map, this was the closest Xfinity Store and it was still over 45 minutes away. What a waste if time and gas for me. I hope you have better luck and are the name on the account or at least know their SSN for identity.
The new Xfinity store is slick and spacious. Large screen TVs playing movies adorn the walls, which smooths waiting time. Better trained associates are polite, knowledgeable and friendly.

Well maintained store with friendly staff. However, the wait time could be frustrating since number of available staff is far outnumbered by customers. The store is inside oak valley shop center near Target. Access is either from Waters St or from Ann Arbor -Saline road. there is a truck entrance leading to Oak Valley road . parking is ample shared by other business . The employee who assisted us was very friendly and helpful.
Cannot reach Xfinity by any means. Completely unacceptable.

May I say Im done calling xfinity if I have a problem. I can not understand anyone that answers the phone EVER! It just makes me mad and they are no help. This is America I like to talk to americans if I have a problem. Im glad for the xfinity stores. Please fix the problem with a call center. I know Im not the only person that feels this way about the call center. Billing dept is a joke we just got a bill for 300 dollars. WHAT the F...! Here we just bought our own modem got rid of the boxes and now are just steaming. We went to xfinity store. Here we only owed $40. Come on people get it together.

Sat down with Mark and Chris to discuss an upgrade. Was repeatedly told it would be a $20/mo increase. Unsurprisingly, it ended up being more, and then Chris kept arguing about how he was right when 5 minutes before, he had told me a lower price. He then had the gall to offer up his card in case we have issues as if him lying to us wasnt our biggest issue.Its useless to try with these places; they know you cant go elsewhere.
By far the best experience I’ve ever had with Comcast! The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. I barely had to wait at all, and they were extremely efficient every step of the way!
Adequate sitting available for waiting. Unfortunately, there is unnecessary waiting. The customer service personnel go into the back room frequently. Two large screen televisions are available to watch but one is facing the window so its difficult to see because of the reflection. The store personnel are usually pleasant, listen attentively, and are knowledgeable. Handicap parking available.
This company sucks. I have had so many problems with my service. I have all new equipment including wiring and still having problems. We pay almost $165 a month just to watch TV ; what happened to watching it for free. You think with all the trouble weve had they would give us a free month or at least a discount. I would recommend that you do research before getting any kind of cable service.

Service was immediate and we were out with a new modem in less than 10 minutes. Both men we worked with were very friendly. Have to admit, we were pleasantly surprised, although our previous visit to this new, modern location, has also been very positive.

The worst customer service I have ever received from an internet provider. At this particular store, the staff are unfriendly and are not well informed on standard procedures. Canceled to switch to a better, cheaper provider that I used previously. Would not recommend to anyone looking for an internet provider.

I was initially impressed by the size of the store . Whats the use if its just got two people running it .? After waiting for 15 minutes I come to know that I need to check in with the guy in the front for them to attend ....... I just came there to pick up my modem for the first time... which was already ready ...... The wait time was 40 mins ... Atrocious .. Ive been to at and t stores and have been attended in minutes .... Waste of time ........ Someone needs to do something real quick .....
I would rate it a zero if I could. I was going back and forth with Xfinity trying to get cable due to misinformation from both the store and from calling. I went and met with Doug Miller, who also told me I needed to call and clear something up. I’m already frustrated from going back and forth. He gave me his card and told me once my situation is handled call and will set everything up over the phone so I’m not going back and forth. Well I called a week or two later and left a voicemail, he called back three days later with some bs excuse. So in the midst of setting things up he needed to call me back in a “few minutes” he called two hours later and was trying to help me and rudely talking to his background. He said had to talk with the chat system and said he’ll call me back in 5 minutes. 3 weeks later and no call l. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND TERRIBLE SALES COSULTANT. Thanks for AT&T getting it right.
