This service provider exceeded expectations. The transfer to Metro was seamless due to the patience and kindness of the shop manager. The price was much lower than expected and the family plan is perfect.

At most cell phone stores, employees are very obviously on commission, know little about the technology they are supposedly expert in, and want to sell (cell?) you an expensive plan. THIS IS NOT THAT. The Metro by T-Mobile store on Platt Road is that rare find, a store managed by a smart, responsive, and all-around good egg, Patrick. I happened upon this store several years ago when I needed an IPhone in a hurry. I bought a used IPhone from Patrick and switched from Verizon to Metro by T-Mobile. My monthly cell phone bill went from $50 to $30. Then last month, I needed a phone upgrade. Back I went to the Platt Road store. Patrick was still there. Once again he transferred everything from my old phone to my new phone. Once again he did an exceptional job.As long as Patrick is managing the Platt Road store, I will continue to go there for all things cell-phone related.

I have been a Metro PCS customer for almost 11 years and have seen many people come and go.I have remained a loyal customer because Patrick has the people skills and the customer service knowledge that is missing from many stores here in 2016. If you need a phone or any accessories, this is the place for you. Its clean and inviting. The real draw is the staff, Tony and Amanda were welcoming and knowledgeable. The only time Ive enjoyed my self in a cell phone store.

Tony is a great employee who is extremely knowledgeable. Even though he did not have the phone I wanted in stock, he was able to help me locate it. Despite me not purchasing anything from him, he was more than willing to tell me about the various plans offered.

Tony rocks! Its refreshing to deal with an employee whos actually knowledgeable about the product theyre selling. I was a Verizon customer for 24 years and rarely dealt with an employee as knowledgeable as Tony. Also, so far the MetroPCS coverage was been as good as Verizons at half the cost.

Ran in to get a phone case as a gift and Shannon was SO nice and helpful. Excellent customer service!!! I bought the case because of his caring, personable attitude. Highly recommend him!

Left another store on Stadium because they did not open when they said they would.Luckily we came to this store. Tony was very professional; and he knew the phones and services he was selling. Patrick, the man who repaired my screen & replaced my battery, was great. I had my screen fixed about a month ago, and I took it in at 2PM on Sat and I had it back in my hands by 4PM. He recommended that I replace the battery since a) it was starting to swell, and b) my phone died at about 20-30%. Of course, I thought he was just your average sales guy trying to get me to replace parts I didnt need so I didnt get the battery replaced that day. I was so totally wrong; by the 3rd week, I started to see several hot spots where the battery was pressing against my screen. I knew I was in trouble when the screen was starting to come off the case :O I took it back to Patrick, and he had the battery replaced in less than 30min. Very honest man, and I will be going back to him for all my services as long as Im in Ann Arbor. Thanks Patrick!

Me and my family switched from sprint and got all new family plan with metro, met with the owner Patrick who was very nice and helpful, also the other employees there went out of their way to insure our happiness with our transfer, I will be sending my friends and family here if they need phones or any other services.

If this is the location attached to Biggby Coffee I had a really great experience last year porting my number and service over to Metro from another prepaid carrier. The salespersons name was Phillip and he was very polite toward me and the other customers who sought help with repairs, ports, and purchases. The actual transaction took longer than we expected because H2O did not want to give up the number even after all credentials checked out. While Metro service is about one or two signal bars shorter than Verizon or Cricket, Im still a customer for their free hotspot and easy billing.
