For each of two jobs--one downstairs with luxury vinyl, one upstairs with carpeting--Craig, our excellent salesman at the main store--sent out a skilled team of two. Alvin and Jose finished the downstairs in one day rather than the expected two, and communication was clear from start to finish. Jim and Lucas, likewise, finished ahead of schedule on carpeting the upstairs, and left our place free of nails and restored to order. This company is not the cheapest option, but you DO get what you pay for with them.

We were very pleased with the quality and knowledge of the staff, Steve, in particular. He followed up on some very complicated forms required by our condo board regarding the safety and quality of the floor we were buying to conform with all the local requirements. Obviously, this was not his first rodeo. The installation crew led by Craig worked fast, cleaned up and did a very precise job (perfect, really) of getting our flooring on a diagonal within many adjoining rooms. We were really quite amazed at the precise measurements and their anticipation of obstacles in order for the finished job to come out perfectly. This is a quality organization, top to bottom.

As soon as we decided to update our bathroom, I knew right away where we were getting our flooring from. To be honest, I didnt even shop around once I got the quote. Steve helped us find a beautiful product: a vinyl/stone hybrid that looks like ceramic tile, but is more flexible for application to floors that are not perfectly level. Bob was our installer and worked very quickly to finish 3 rooms for us. It looks amazing and I was impressed with the finishing details that were supplied in the way of matching transition strips and baseboard molding. We were pleasantly surprised to see our new carpet and flooring when we returned from vacation. Yes, we let them into our house while on a short trip. They are a very trustworthy lot. The salesman was great. Very knowledgeable about every product. He also had a good sense of decorating and value. They didnt just pick the most expensive style, but one that would work for us. And the installation was flawless. Very, very good job.

Had a project where I calculated the tile quantities for a tricky master shower project and made mistakes on floor tile and bull nose. Doug and Lucy to the rescue, getting additional tile in small quantities, offering to pickup at the distributor, arranging for Fed-X shipments so my tile guys could keep on schedule. They were great - easy to work with, friendly despite the hassles, flexible. Would work with them for sure again anytime!

We purchased carpet for our home in 2014. The carpet was purchased from one of the big box stores and it included FREE installation. Well, we got what we paid for in regards to the installation. In 4 years was loose and rising up in several places. The carpet is still in excellent condition so we did not want to get wear spots where it was starting to lift up. Ann Arbor Carpets came out and gave us a reasonable quote so we set up an appointment to have them fix the loose spots. Their installer showed up on time and did a great job fixing someone elses poor workmanship. I would highly recommend Ann Arbor Carpets.

We had two rooms in our ground floor that were carpeted and wanted to match with the existent hickory floor on our dining room, family room and kitchen. Although the product the previous owner has used was already discontinued the salesperson has found a perfectly match which made us very happy but the round trim chosen was white pine and completely off with our existing trim. After 3 trials of installing the quarter trims in different stains (even after I provided a sample of the existing one for them to match the stain color) I end up with a floor trim damage by many tentatives of installing and disowns talking the quarter trim, not matching correctly the stain, gaps on the corners and some personal art made by me broken by the installer. I decided to accept the installation as is because Im just too tired to fight for those precious details they would make a costly purchase an excellent one. 5 for matching the floor right, 1 for installation. Average 3

Great customer service in the store. The sales guy we talked to was super friendly, and they had a great selection of vinyl flooring. The day we decided on flooring the sales guy came right out later that day and measured and explained all the conveniences you can add on. We paid to have someone redo the flooring in 2 bathrooms and a laundry room, move the washers and dryers and do all the trim around the flooring. We called the day before installation to confirm that they would be able to move the washer and dryer down two steps into the garage because we didnt want them moved out into the hallway on the hardwood floors. Lady on the phone assured us that would be no problem and that the installer had been doing this for years. Turns out he doesnt do changes in elevation so we had to go out and buy ramboard to cover the floors after the guy got there. Lack of communication between departments. There is also a spot where paint got chipped off on our brand new clothes dryer from it being moved. Sales guy said they would caulk around the trim when they did it. That did not happen. The installer also showed up 20 minutes after the hour long window he had provided us with. We are not happy with some of the trim work in the master bath. He was also completely baffled by a closet door in the master bath and couldnt get it off. My father in law had to do it for him and he made no attempt to put it back on before he left. Overall the quality of the floors is great (we paid for the top quality level), but the installation process left us very disappointed. Save yourself the headache and do any additional add on work yourself if you choose to go with this company.**I did call Ann Arbor Carpets after their response and they did refund me for the additional add on services we had requested and were not satisfied with. I would consider using them again in the future.
