Go see Hernando! Hernando was the 3rd sales associate I spoke to about a vehicle. The first two told me the vehicle I was interested in was sold when I called on a Thursday, but the next morning Hernando called to tell me it was still available. We were able to work hold the vehicle for me for 24hrs so I could make the drive from Indiana. Hernando had the car waiting for me freshly washed and with a full tank of gas. Paperwork was ready and waiting for me and Hernando scored me a deal on the all-weather floor mats.
Amanda Nowaczyk is the most amazing customer service representative a dealership could hope for. She has been a constant support for the last 3 years that my car has been serviced at this location, and she makes sure everything is effortlessly managed.... be it invoicing, loaner cars, insurance hassles. I have appreciated her management and customer service approach, which has made going back to this location the most important factor for me.

Apparently they treat prospects differently than they do their customers. I strongly suggest anyone purchasing a used car from this dealership go elsewhere. I purchased a used as is (equals let the buyer beware) car for my college student daughter and drove it 40 miles before the service engine code appeared. Prior to the sale I was told how well they screen their used cars and they would be involved if anything happened immediately. It is my understanding now they define immediately as the moment my $11K check was handed over and not a second after. The aforementioned service code required a $1550 repair. I have my suspicions on how the dealership avoided me seeing this code until after picking the car up but obviously cannot prove that. I had to call the service tech 24 hours after dropping the car off at my appointment time to ascertain its status which did not diminish my frustration. After speaking with the GM of the dealership, who said he would look into it with his Service Manager and call me back the next day, I have heard nothing. I paid the full repair cost and will never deal with Lexus of Ann Arbor again. Shopping elsewhere would be prudent if you value after the sale support.Update: The information provided in the response by Lexus is blatantly false regarding the timeline of the issue. The issue was immediate and the referenced timing variance is due to the issue manifesting itself, getting a service appointment, getting parts to fix the issue, patience on my part waiting for return call from Lexus of Ann Arbors GM and then ultimately posting the review. The response was apparently written by someone not involved and the grammar further illustrates the poor attention to detail that is pervasive through this organization.
Well I have to say that the treatment I received was like a queen.From the moment I walked in the door to register that I was there for my oil change and a new filter for my car, I was treated with a smile and a young man who couldnt do enough for me.. he went and retreat my car from the parking lot and then proceeded to introduce me to my counseling service repairman.After a consultation with the consultant about my car, he then went and showed me the waiting room. No not just one waiting room but three. And then he showed me where I could get coffee mocha lattes things to drink and for a minute there I thought he was going to serve me with a martini and a mint julep.Even though I had to wait a long time, I did expect that, it was worth it because when I received my car it looked like it was brand new it was clean as a whistle, not that it was dirty but I have to say it was cleaner than when I brought it in.I feel confident and safe in my car and Im so glad I bought A Lexus and it just doesnt get any better than that!

We were driving home from Grand Rapids to New Jersey when our car broke down. We were only about 14 miles from Ann Arbor, so we took our Lexus RX350 there. Not only did the service department get us in first thing, but they were able to fix our oil leak in under an hour. Being from NJ, we were not expecting the kindness we received from Lexus of Ann Arbor. The best part was, not only the reasonable $$$, but how kind and professional they were. This was our first, and probably last experience with Lexus of Ann Arbor. Still, my wife and I were so very impressed with the service we received. Well done! We can only hope that the courtesy and professionalism of Lexus of Ann Arbor is the same here in NJ.
This dealership is top notch. The sales manager Jeff was very fair on the price and very easy to work with. Steve Johnson, the car salesman was also very easy to work with. Then we went to Miles to fill out the lease agreement and he answered all the questions we had. We had a great experience and would only purchase our future leases with them.
1. I took my car in for brake repair. I was initially given a time estimate of ~2 hours. I was told a loaner car was not available. I was called 5 hours later to describe what was needed, and before any actual repair was started.2. When I called after 8 hours to let me know the repair was done, I went to get my car. They normally give all serviced cars a wash, but they forgot to do that. I was told the wash would take ~10 minutes. 30 minutes later, I walked back to see what was taking so long. My car was sitting in the wash section, idling and unattended. I got in and drove away.3. The bill included a $35 charge described as shop charge for repair order.WHAT? I guess this is a charge for scheduling the repair? Sort of like being billed for making a plane reservation.Ill look elsewhere for service next time.
My salesperson was Steve Johnson. From the moment I walked in I was treated very well and nothing but professional. There was never any pressure from anyone at this dealership. Nothing but class. Steve was always upfront and honest to any of my questions and the whole process. I am very happy with my new lease here and would recommend anyone to come here as well.

Well I had a great experience. Great price. Great review. But then the dealership paid off all but $220 of my over miles charges. Lexus beg to call me and I kept calling both my salesman and the dealership. Once it was even a three way between Lexus financial and the assistant sales manager. Lexus of Ann Arbor just kept telling me they made a mistake and would take care of it. Finally after 6 months I just paid the $220. Worst part is if I could have had Lexus financial knock off a total of $500 if I didn’t roll it into my new lease.I’m just disappointed that after being promised multiple times including by the sales manager, I had to pay this small amount to get my phone to stop ringing.

I’ve been in to rotate tires and maintenance for 15,000 miles! The whole thing supposed to take an hour long or so, I waited for 3 hours .They broke one of the wheel studs, while tightening the lug nuts too hard. They told me that they replaced it at no cost for me,like it was my fault for them braking it in the first place..The car came washed with bugs still stuck to my front bumper !This is the place I bought the car this spring, but surely I would look into another Lexus dealership closer to me to get my car serviced !
Probably wouldn’t buy another car here. HIGH turnover so service and how they treat you when you go in for service is always changing. Many things they told me about how my service would go when I purchased my car, they “don’t do anymore” which certainly has had a negative impact on my experience. Not about good service for the people who have already bought a car. All about trying to sell you another one.

Not friendly at all seemed like people just trying to earn a paycheck and go back home. Service department took the easy way out and never fixed two problems I brought my car in for and gave the typical “we couldn’t duplicate the problem”. I got a screw in my tire, had it plugged at a place here in Jackson, but it ended up out of balance. I called Lexus of Ann Arbor, they got me right in, did whats called a fine balance, and my Lexus LS was smooth as glass afterwards. Excellent service and quality of work.
I normally dont write reviews and I was not asked to write this, but I voluntarily did so because of my overall experience with Lexus of Ann Arbor as well as the two employees that I worked with to purchase a preowned certified Lexus from here. I spent a good amount of time prior to my purchase looking at other cars, and dealing with smaller dealerships only to show up to have these vehicles not as described and or priced way over the fair market value. That was not the case with Lexus of Ann Arbor. The vehicle I purchased was priced right from the very beginning based on KBB, and was exactly as described online. Everyone I spoke with was polite and informative from the moment I called the dealership to inquire about the vehicle, until the time the Sales Consultant (Jay) followed up with me to make sure everything was great AFTER I purchased my car. Jay was very knowledgeable and had open communication through out the whole purchasing process. He went of his way to make sure I had zero concerns, and had quick responses to all my questions. He even came in on his day off to accommodate me. The finance manager (Stephen) also made the whole process seamless and got me an an APR that no other place could touch. You can tell the overall dealership knows how to run a good operation (laid back atmosphere, but very professional), hence the 4.5 star Google rating. I fully recommend buying a car from this dealership and working with Jay / Stephen. The first place I will be calling when I am ready for another vehicle will be Lexus of Ann Arbor!

Worst dealership I have ever been to. Multiple bad experiences. I do not recommend ANYONE to buy from this place. 1) Wife went to buy out a lease on existing vehicle - 4 people pressured her to buy another car, told her it was a better deal (they extended loan from 5 year to 7 year loan to lower payments), then charged more than the price shown on the vehicle. Went back to ask them to cancel, they said they would buy back for $6k less. 2) i went back in with appointment to buy the original leased vehicle, they kept me waiting 2 hours past appointment time, then paperwork was not as previously promised - raised interest rate from 1.9% to 5.99%. I told them I would just give them a check, and they said to just call Lexus directly, didnt want to provide any customer service. Definitely not Lexus quality of service. It is worth the extra drive to a dealership that values their customers and doesnt try to rip them off.

I would typically use another Lexus dealership for routine maintenance but while staying at our cottage it was time for another round of maintenance. Lexus of Ann Arbor was the most convenient location. I was totally impressed with Lexus of Ann Arbor from beginning to end. I was greeted promptly and professionally. Where as I would wait 2+ hours for routine maintenance at my “home” dealership, Lexus of Ann Arbor cut that time in half. In my experience, Lexus of Ann Arbor is operated in a very efficient manner. I now make sure to be at our cottage when I need to make a visit to the Lexus dealership. Lexus of Ann Arbor is head and shoulders above my home dealership.

They gave me a great price, financing was easy and a better rate than my own bank was offering, and the over all service was fantastic. I drove all the way from Kalamazoo and would do it again.
I was extremely satisfied with my experience at Lexus of Ann Arbor. From the operator to the service department. I was originally calling because I was looking at purchasing a used Lexus from an outside dealer and I wanted to verify service records, maintenance intervals and any open recalls. I spoke with Lauren in service and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and I was actually able to bring the vehicle in for the open recalls to be completed. They performed and inspection and even provided me a loaner car so that I could get to work. She updated me on the vehicle status throughout the day and it was completed on time and I was happy to know the vehicle purchase would be a good investment. Rushed experience; missed the opportunity for hundreds of dollars in rebate savings. When I am making a financial decision that is big in life such as buying a car, I would appreciate if the dealership felt that way too and was there to help guide me, look up rebates, and provide genuine feedback rather than just push a car onto me. Finally got time to write the review of my experience with Lexus of Ann Arbor. I bought 2020 GX from them about a year ago. I gave them the deposit down to come back the next day to complete the deal that we signed but came to find out that the price went up about $1500.00 even after signing the contract and giving them the $1000.00 deposit. The reason couldnt complete the deal the same day because it was too late and they wanted to close. I came from all the way from Lansing to purchase the vehicle from them.Well I am in the market to trade in my 2020 GX for a new one and in the market to purchase an additional 2021 GX, guess where I am not going . . . . . yep not to Lexus of Ann Arbor.

Jake was a great sales person to work with, perhaps the best in my 50+ years of purchasing and driving cars. Importantly, the support provided to him by his management, specifically Jeff and Myles, was nothing short of admirable. I consider myself a bit of a car geek and Jeff filled in a lot of detail about the Lexus brand from an engineer’s perspective. This helped a great deal in my decision making process. I had hoped to meet the service manager before making the purchase. Alas, on the day I was there, this was not to be. I am strongly of the belief that service will make or break my return business. So this was the only disappointment I had throughout the process. Jake and his management team get high marks from me on integrity. Time and service will prove whether I made a good decision.

I was very disappointed with the lack of care and communication that I received earlier this week from the service team at Lexus of Ann Arbor. Not only did they charge a $135 fee just to investigate the check engine light cause in my vehicle (it could have been as simple as a loose gas cap and they still would have charged the $135), but when they did call to tell me what they found (an internal transmission issue), they didn’t communicate any details around the investigation, what testing they did, etc. Instead, they just said, “unfortunately, you need to replace it” and quoted a $5200 fee. That’s on top of the $135 fee to diagnose the issue, which they would not apply toward the repair bill itself.Instead of consenting to a complete transmission repair/replacement, I picked the car up from Lexus of Ann Arbor and dropped it off with the mechanic I typically work with later that day. Fortunately, it turns out that they were able to arrive at a much more pointed diagnosis that they are confident will fix the issue, and the total cost is only around $500. Even if they hadn’t saved me thousands of dollars, the depth and cadence of communication about the issue was light years better than what I received from Lexus of Ann Arbor. And that level of service goes a long way toward creating loyalty.Beware in taking your vehicle to Lexus of Ann Arbor for your service needs. They did not communicate effectively with me and left me under the impression that they just didn’t put enough effort into trying to understand exactly what is causing the problem in an effort to find the most appropriate solution. Whether they were simply too busy (lazy?) to take the extra step or whether they didn’t have the core competency to diagnose the issue effectively, I do not feel comfortable taking my vehicle there for any vehicle issue diagnoses.Edit to add: Spoke with their general manager (Sean) after he saw this review. Was a good discussion, and he clarified some of the miscommunication and held himself and his team accountable for not setting expectations well with me. Appreciated the follow through that he showed, and I hope the team does better going forward.

No service to my vehicle had been done for nearly a year because of Covid. So, in this case I found the cost of the service acceptable relative to the value of the service provided.

Car was left under the dripping roof of the service garage exit so windshield, side windows and mirrors were spotted with dirty water after I had specifically requested my interior windows cleaned. Had to take my Lexus to the car wash after my service appointment. Disappointed.....

This Lexus dearship is simply outstanding in every since of the word. They made me feel welcome and comfortable. They took their time to make sure I was happy with my vehicle. I made an appointment to test drive a vehicle around 3:00 pm. Jake text me back within minutes introducing himself and said he would be helping me when I arrive. When I was 15 minutes out I called to let Jake know. When I pulled up guess who was standing out side to greet me? Yes, Jake. Talking about customer service, he was a buyers dream come true. I found a great car that was financed the same day and drove it home that night around 6:00 pm. Some dealerships can’t give you a smooth experience even if you have excellent credit and the means to pay for your purchase. Ive owned my car for 2 months. The performance is truly stellar. Joseph is a wonderful sales person as well as extremely knowledgeable regarding their products. Ive never repeated a make or model of a car but, I would certainly buy another ES350 from Joseph.
Good experience. The bill was lower than the estimate. The service advisor Alex was excellent. I didn’t purchase my Lexus from the dealership, but I feel like I’m part of the family. It’s rare to have good car repair experiences, but I had one.
Awesome service! Afterwards the techs cleaned and washed the vehicle making it feel brand new! Amanda was able to get me a car on short notice so I could get some shopping done while they worked. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!
I was in for a 30,000mi. service on 10/21/20.I’ve bought 4 cars from Lexus of AA in the last15-20yrs. I own these cars I do not lease so l’m not “renting” (leasing) these cars for 3yrs. then returning them back to the bank, or Lexus of AA or, whoever owns these lease cars.So as the owner of these vehicles, which includes a large financial investment, the service department is the most important part of my car buying, & owning, experience @ Lexus of AA.With that in mind my service visit was perfect.Amanda, my Service Consultant, was excellent.Her knowledge, being a service consultant & guiding you to service your car appropriately given the mileage & age of the vehicle, was only surpassed by her knowledge of how the different mechanical systems in my Lexus work & what is necessary to maintain them appropriately, or not if maintenance is not necessary.In my case my car is way off the Scheduled Maintenance Log, found in the Warranty & Services Guide, as it is 5yrs. old but only has 24,000miles on it ( it should have 60,000miles on it at 5yrs according to the Schedule Maintenance Log) so my reliance on Amanda to figure out what’s necessary, to keep my large investment in top working order, & not spend money on things that are unnecessary, even though the Schedule Maintenance log may recommend it, is crucial to getting my vehicle maintained properly & not spend a small fortune doing it, & Amanda is excellent at both.The same goes for my mechanic (Sr. Tech)Ed who has been working on my vehicles over the last 15-20 yrs. & is not only an excellent Tech but also works with Amanda & myself to do everything necessary to keep my car up to specs, & nothing that isn’t necessary to keep the maintenance costs down, I trust him implicitly to do the right thing & he’s never failed me.Brandon the Service Mgr. for over a year now, has the Service Dept. working better that I’ve seen it in a long time.The addition of Trish as the Customer Relations Mgr. in the Service Dept. is huge as well as she is eager to make your service visit as painless as possible.The GM of Lexus of AA Sean, is great as well & will always take the time with you to make sure your car buying, & service experiences are up to your satisfaction.My long time friend, in Parts & Service, Georgeis awesome as well.& kudos to the owner of Lexus of AA, Rosario,for taking care of his employees during the 6wk shutdown over the summer (they are open now) because of this horrible pandemic, it speaks volumes of his care & concern for his employees, regardless of the cost to him personally, which is admirable & makes for a happy work environment which translates to a pleasant car buying, & servicing, experience for the patrons of Lexus of AA.So 5Stars for Lexus of AA, the people there work very hard, & long hours, striving to keep your car buying, & servicing, experiences up to the Lexus standards.
