I could not be more impressed by this establishment. I walked in on a whim because the place I had recently gone to couldn’t see me for so long that I debated figuring out how to do the work myself. They were so kind to me and I was astonished and pleased by their customer service… I sat there while my car was getting fixed and witnessed them being so efficient, helpful, and genuinely kind to everyone that walked in. The work was flawless and in a world where no one seems to be the best version of themselves lately this business, with their work ethic, and their care was a breath of fresh air.

The folks here are fantastic and Ive been going here for more than a decade. Theyre fast, friendly, and they never tack on extra stuff to make a buck. In fact, Ive actually had them offer Its really expensive to fix this and you could probably do fine without it. You sure you want us to do this? Its tough to find folks that do high quality honest work, but the team at Firestone nail it.

Needed a tire while on a trip. David was very helpful and very professional and helped me make the decision that was right for me. I wish I lived in Ann Arbor because this is where Id bring my car. He looked for ways to save me money. Unlike my shop at home that looks for ways to cost me money.

Super FAKE nice on the phone so I thought they were caring. Its all PHONY sales technique. Would never ever recommend. I think lack of real care for customers creates an environment of incompetence.

I had rim leaks in both of my back tires, and they fixed it within a day for only $18!! very friendly and welcoming service; I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was, and will definitely be coming back here in the future!

I received world class service at this Firestone location. I was traveling through Ann Arbor when my tire started leaking. They answered the phone promptly and politely. I received an estimate over the phone with an estimated cost and estimated time to repair based on my arrival. I arrived 10 minutes late. David was able to still repair my flat and allowed me to get back on the road within 30 minutes. Amazing service at an amazing price! Thank you

Great experience! My tire had a leak and it took me way too long to do anything about it, so I eventually called a tow truck to tow my car from my house to this Firestone. I called the store as the tow truck was on its way, and David offered amazing service over the phone. He made me feel much calmer about the whole situation and had my car in and out of the shop by the end of the day. Really great customer service, and from what I can tell, great mechanic work. Would recommend.

Great Shop and employees staff. Were able to service me the next day. Had me in-and-out in less than an hour. I recommend this location although I will advise that parking can be scarce. So I recommend not scheduling during rush hour.

My go to place for car service. They always work with what seems to be another dramatic car issue of mine. Due to being on the road for work I can be rest assured by their multiple locations. Their garage professionals have a great attitude and are very ethical about their work.

Had new tires put on my summer wheels here. They took my winter wheels off, put them in my wheel bags, put my summer wheels on with the new tires, and neatly boxed up the winter wheel hardware and put it in my trunk. Amazing alignment, and they give you a before and after diagram of the improvement on the measurements. Such amazing service, I will definitely be going back here

I needed tires, alignment, and an oil change. Kenneth and CJ went above and beyond. They were in constant communication with me, and gave a no pressure service. I was told I didn’t need things that I thought it was time for, and overall I felt very comfortable waiting for my vehicle to get done. These men were gentlemen, and very honoring. I know first hand this is not always true in the case of a woman walking in an auto shop. I highly recommend this Firestone. Kenny and CJ will look out for you and will do good honest work.

Totally ripped off my wife and some ladies. Took advantage of girls! Said I need an oil change when the oil was low and said it was company policy that they couldnt top it off.

SCAMMERS: They gave me a LONG list of things that they said were wrong with my car (including both compulsory and recommended items, mostly compulsory). They gave me a ~$4,500 estimate. Took the car to other mechanics. Turns out only 2 of what they quoted were actually necessary (power steering hose and one caliper), absolutely nothing wrong with the other things they wanted to fix. ALSO, they charge you 3x for the part. The EXACT SAME parts (same part numbers) at NAPA down the road cost on average 3 times less. I can understand if the shop wants to charge more for the parts, but 3 TIMES MORE??? Finally, their labor costs are also outrageous. They literally steal your money. AVOID!

Service Advisor, James, is very professional and highly responsive. I was stunned to have my vehicle serviced almost immediately, despite the number of cars on site. Clean store and convenient location - all around positive experience.

Honest guys, fair prices. Good location, too. Its super convenient to have an auto shop near a bus station.One time, I told them I had a leaky tire, but I told them the wrong tire to check. Even though it was totally my fault, they did not charge for a return trip. Good dudes.

I liked how accommodating they were to enable me to get my brakes fixed that day. They diagnosed the problem, called me with a special price, and then got it done. I really like that I can trust them to take car of my car repairs consistently.

I recently had to go to Ann Arbor for my job. Once I got to the city I noticed I had a flat. I looked up some local shops to go to and I decided on Firestone on E. Huron street. The guy showed me there was a nail in my tire. They told me first that they could patch it, then called me back after Id left and said it wasnt patchable and Id need to buy a brand new one. So I did, and a few hours later it was finished and they put it back on my car.Fast forward not even 10 miles down the road to me driving home on the express way at 80 mph when all of a sudden my tire blows. Burning rubber and sparks everywhere. Im skidding side to side, then the entire middle of my tire flings out into the traffic behind me. I took the tire into my own mechanic after AAA put the donut back on my car. He told me and you can clearly still see in pictures that it wasnt my rim, he said the tire was improperly put on. I went in to get a refund and they werent even interested in what happened or if everything was okay. It was a traumatic experience that couldve been avoided.

Ive purchased many tires here and had them service my cars for years. Their prices are competitive and they always completed the work on time. Twice theyve diagnosed work - at no charge - that was covered by manufacturers warranty and referred me back to the dealer (where I had the repairs completed for free).Once I referred a U of M student to them. Her car was dead and wouldnt start. She had it towed to Firestone. They deduced that it was a problem with the black box. They disconnected the battery and let it sit for a few hours. The box must have reset and the car started right up. They didnt charge her, not one dime! Later her dad, from Grand Rapids, called me to tell me about their experience. He was grateful and pleasantly surprised that they didnt take advantage of student from out of town.

I normally go to Japanese Auto, but they dont do tires and recommended this place. I got two new tires and had them rotated. The price was competitive, and I was able to schedule an appointment online. My only complaint is that despite the appointment, they said it could be a wait of a few hours when I got there. In the end, it took about an hour, which wasnt bad.

Been going here for years. Between my dad and my 6 vehicles, taken them here every time. He refuses to take them anywhere else. Miss Marco and Jim, but the new Jim and crew seem to be up to snuff and really friendly along with getting my truck back to me 4 hours ahead of estimated time. Always get the cheapest deal possible due to the staff double checking any deals, coupons or discounts offered at the time of appointment.

I would love to write these guys a good review, but theyve simply made too many mistakes and are far too overpriced to get anything above one star. Maybe they are too busy or dont have good quality controls in place, but theyve messed up my alignment on two separate occasions with two cars, and have convinced us to do costly repairs on multiple occasions that dont fix the problem. Theyve also missed a few issues that should have been caught with basic attention.Their prices are often $100-200 higher than other shops nearby. These guys thrive on their convenient location, but its worth walking a little farther from work to get more reliable service.

Only giving a 1 because 0 is not an option!!! You make an appointment for a service but never get in on time!!!! Why do they require an appointment if they are not going to be able to perform the service at the time THEY tell you?!?!?!Parking is a major joke 😄 !!!! They have no room for their straight truck drivers to pull in and deliver parts and still get back on the road easily!! I would seriously think about a bigger building if I was this company!!!! I had to pull in block about 3 other cars. Then a worker moved my vehicle to where it is blocking half the driveway!!! Thats pure intelligence!!!! I could go on and on about their ignorance but Im not devoting my time to a worthless place!!!!

They were able to get my flat tire fixed the day after it happened. I dropped my car of just after they opened and as I left my car was getting moved into the shop. They were honest and didnt try to rip me off by adding unnecessary extras. Being a single female I am always hesitant to trust auto mechanics but my friend recommended them and I was very satisfied with the service. I plan on returning there if/when I have trouble with my car again.

My car broke down on Christmas Eve and they got it fixed in 3 hours for under $200. Great place.

Ive always had terrific experiences with Firestone at this location. Gerry, Marco, CJ and the whole team treat my like they are a neighborhood business even though they are owned by a large company. I work a block away. They service my three cars. What could be more convenient!

Ive used these guys for years. Good work and reasonably priced. I always call days ahead of time to schedule appointments, so Ive had no problems with getting my vehicle in and serviced in a timely manner.

Quality work, down home feel, great service. All I had done was tires, but the way you are treated in there makes you feel like your in good hands, and rightfully so, they were prompt and kind. You cant ask for much more than that.

I have been to this garage maybe 5-6 times. I started coming here at the recommendation of a co-worker. The first experiences were fine. I had some routine maintenance done, and they helped out with an issue with my exhaust.The service advisers seem ok. Not super friendly, but not absolute jerks either. I am mostly dissatisfied with my latest experience. My suspension on my 1999 Corolla was having issues and I had them look at it. They were going to replace 2 rear struts and their estimate was over $1100. I was insulted by this ridiculous estimate!They were more than 100% more than a couple other places I called. One shop estimated $560 (in Ypsi) and the other was $460 (in Toledo). I dont know how they can sleep at night knowing how much they are ripping people off! On top of everything they charged me $22 dollars to pick up my car. Maybe this is standard protocol, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth after being shocked by the crazy amount of the estimate.Sometimes you can get good deals with coupons here, but just beware of occasional extremely high estimates.

The best thing at firestone is their lifetime alignment service.

I came to replace my dying battery as I need it urgently. The shop worker was nice, checking my battery and told me that I need replacement immediately as my battery was very weak (I was stranded at the airport parking lot for a couple hours in the middle of the night the day before), but he quoted me an expensive price for the battery (I felt like I was taken advantage of given that I need to replace it urgently) and he didnt seem to be interested in giving me the best discount as a customer. I need to surf the website to find more coupons and worst, the price is still actually much more expensive than the one I can get at Costco. Overall, I will go to somewhere else if I have the option.

I deal with Gerry, who has been an honest and thorough mechanic for me throughout my near-decade in Ann Arbor. This shop usually has a pretty quick turnaround, too!

Took slightly long but they gave me high quality, no BS service. They didnt try to stack on service or other junk I didnt need, just did my oil change and complimentarily top off my other fluids and tire pressure.

When I overpaid this place, to the tune of about $800, for new front brakes less than a year ago, they apparently put 200 pounds on the lug nuts when they put the tires back on instead of about 96 as it should be. So Im paying close to $200 today for new lugnuts because the other (much better) machanic I started going to cant remove them without breaking them.Before Jerry retired, this place was the bomb and I would have given it 10 stars if I could. Ive been taking my cars there since 2000. Though I spent $900 on new tires a few years ago, tire rotations arent free anymore and oil changes have gone front $20 to over $50. If you go here, be prepared to overpay for service that is likely to be substandard. Ill never go back.

5 star service on a football weekend at the Big House. My VW Jetta master brake cylinder goes out. We called Friday about 6pm, thank God Jim answered the phone. No promises he can get the part on a football weekend, however they did! Received a call before 4 pm on Saturday, car is repaired! Oh yes, we live in KY, and made it home on Sunday. Thank you to the manager Jim and all his employees. Go Blue!

I take back my 5 star review. Weeks after getting $600 in brake replacements, the brake line busted.

Good and honest service but they tend to take a bit.

I made an appointment to have my newly bought used car inspected. They didnt really care about my issue and when asked about the time it would take, the head said he didnt know and added something like if you dont want to wait you can go to somewhere else, returning the keys to me! I was shocked but I still let them do the inspection anyway. Then he tested driving the car and told me I should go to a collision center to check out the engine noise, and they could not inspect my car before that. I didnt know whether I had to go to the collision center first (I didnt have any collision), but I am sure I wont go there again.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I have had two terrible experiences at this place. They are very rude. If you (Firestone) dont have time to change a tire or do an oil change, thats fine, but you dont have to treat your potential customers like they dont matter. I hope that people realize this put you out of business. DO NOT GIVE ONE DOLLAR TO THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!

BEWARE.. The manager Jerry is a complete JERK. I had a flat tire on a sunday morning and parked my truck in their lot. Since they are closed on sunday I had intended on being there first thing monday morning to have them repair or replace the tire. Later that sunday I came back to my truck after work to make sure it was secure. The truck was gone... Jerry had it towed away. $225.00 dollars later I got my truck back. On monday morning I went to see Jerry to ask why the vehicle was towed. He was rude, obnoxious and the most classless person I have ever tried to do business with. He basically told me he didnt have to offer any explanation or reasoning for his decision to have my vehicle towed. After words were exchanged he picked up the phone to call the police and told them he had an unruly customer. STAY AWAY from this dealer at all cost. P.S. I have also reached out to BRIDGESTONE/FIRESTONE corporate office to tell them about my experience. I will keep you posted.

Fast service right in Downtown Ann Arbor!

I was in at Firestone getting my tires changed, and asked them to look at a loose heat shield making noise. They told me they couldnt find any issue with it. So I went to another mechanic in Ann Arbor, that sure enough told me it was nothing serious, but indeed the heat shield was loose and could be fixed with a new nut and bolt. If they miss an issue like this, why would I trust Firestone to look at anything on my car?

Seems that they just don’t want to do our business Saturday afternoon.

Specifically asked for a side of services and they performed more than requested. after I confronted him on this, as I had this in writing, the employee started yelling. after and then stated that I did not wish to have services performed there, I was told to remove my car within 4 hours or it would be towed. Unacceptable and deceptive.

I will no longer be using Firestone for any repairs or service. Many of their parts from repairs break. Managers do not stand behind work

I bought two tires there a year and a half ago that are still under warranty. They wanted me to prove that I had the tires rotated every 5000 miles and my alignment done every 10K. If I had known that I never would have purchased my tires there in the first place. I will never step foot in another Firestone Auto Center or put a Firestone product in or on my car.
