Worst customer service! Ive lived in AA for 16 years and have shopped at the store for a long time. I believe the store have changed ownership over the years.Cashiers used to be friendly and courteous, these days is just a bunch of condescending young people making bad comments about you in Spanish, thinking you are a fool that doesnt understand what they are saying. I happen to speak different languages and find that kind of behavior very insulting and disrespectful.Beer selection is very good, but not worth the hassle of dealing with IDIOTS!!

If you have a drink that you cant find anywhere THIS is the place to go. Huge selection and the customer service is outstanding.

Looking from the outside, you wouldnt realize inside there is a deceptively large selection of beers, wines and liquor. Clean and well lit. My go to spot for alcohol or coconut water when Im downtown.

Has everything and everyone working there is great. Really helpful and reliable.

Would rather force a five year old to urinate in their pants than let a dirty customer use the beloved staff bathroom.

Unfortunately, this store is near my place. So I frequent the store sometime. But I think this might be my last time! I just called and spoke one of the rude guys. I let him know, that I can understand some of the bad language they were saying to me in spanish. He said he wasnt sent it to me. The point is you never know who can speak spanish. Stay away from the store, two of the guys are very rude. But the gay guy is really nice! I wish I could give Joeys store a zero. The day staff is unprofessional, and needs a listen in customer service.

Over the years I have visited this store. The staff is friendly. Good management, and clean store with good prices.

I love this store. I come out from California each year and I stop in to buy wine and liquor here. The owner has an impressive selection of wine from many regions in the world and some in large format. Great selection and great prices!

I bought aloe water here once and it was a couple months expired. The rest of their products are good, just dont buy the aloe water or anything else that looks like it doesnt sell very much.

Good product selection, but REALLY RUDE customer service -- it seems to be a tradition of theirs, no matter who they employ. Their bottle return machine is almost always broken down. I think they prefer it that way.

Great place place nice people

Nothing wrong with the store but the people hanging around are sketchy at best. Regularly get harassed by homeless outside or unruly drunks on a late night. Stop here for quick buys but dont stay too long.

This store has a great variety of fun stuff to eat and drink. I enjoy the lotto machine. The panhandling outdoors was low-key today.

Went there on Sunday morning the sign says 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. which it is Sunday so I thought at least 10 a.m. waited half an hour. Left at 10:15 cuz so nobody there. Very disgusting when its so easy to just write the hours on a piece of paper if their adjusted! With a sharpie! Very simple thing to do! Maybe Im owners behalf and employees! On cuz I know Im not the only one who has been claimed there were four other people in a FedEx man waiting there for signature!

I was looking for Carling Black Label for a memorial service. It was always a joke in our family (you want a beer or you want a carlings?). Main Street Party Store was the only place we found in Ann Arbor who carried it as well as other domestic Canadian beers that are hard to find these days. Thank you for bringing a smile to my family during a low point.

This is definitely the best party store in Ann Arbor. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a fantastic selection all around. Whether youre just looking to grab your standard pour, or looking for a nice gift for someone else, you cant go wrong.

The man who works days thereIs extremely RUDE!!!!! I am not the only one he has offended & affronted. The whole community is on alert & will boy cot this store even if we have to go out of our way to do it.If this store is going to treat people badly to spend their money there than mostly everyone would agree that it not worth the exchange.

While I was looking forward to this being my go-to party store in the Kerrytown area, Ill probably go out of my way to avoid shopping here. Ive been there twice and was wildly unimpressed by both the prices and the sales clerks interaction. The beer prices are outrageous...theres a decent craft beer selection on the shelves, for like 5 to 7 a bottle. There was no such thing as a decent 6-pack of beer (think a step above Budweiser) to buy, which is what I normally get. The wine prices were more acceptable. The candy and convenience food section was unmentionable. The clerk was unintelligible and then seemed to take offense that I couldnt understand him. Unfortunately this is too much offbeat charm for me...and this place just doesnt suit my boozy needs. There are better liquor stores in Ann Arbor.

This is my absolute favorite party store. The staff is incredible. Rayan is so friendly and helpful, he feels like family to me! They will drop everything to help their customers find what the need. The beer and wine selection is the best you will find anywhere close to downtown. You will NOT be disappointed. I love this store :)

Craft beer fan here. This location has a pretty good selection, I’ll give them that. But the beer is way overpriced and you have to make sure the beer you are buying is fresh. Don’t want to accidentally buy a year old ipa. But they are out there...

The staff was incredibly helpful during my visit today. They were very transparent that they wanted me to be satisfied with my visit. I made a special request that most other liquor stores would not have accommodated, but the manager at Main Street delivered for me.

I cut above your common liquor store: very friendly staff to make small talk and offer to order what they dont have (if specific). Very good selection and some good prices on items.

This store is one of the few surviving corner stores from my youth. Anything that survives this urban sprall and keeps supplying and keepin up with current damands deserves patronage. I Enjoy the staff as well whenever i go,good service with a smile.

Main Street (as we refer to it! Though what else would you call it?!) liquor store/party shop is one of the best party stores in downtown Ann Arbor, by far! Diag Party Shop, on the other side of downtown--State St.--used to be the go-to place until they closed a few years ago. Main Street has a huuuge selection of cheap/decent/good/fancy wines! They also have an excellent variety of domestic, imported, pseudo-craft, and authentic craft beers!! You can get a very cheap tall boy can of Milwaukees Best Ice (aka Beast) for $1.25 out-the-door, or a 16oz bottle of some fancy hemp infused, orange & oregano, organic hops, fair trade, SJW type of craft beer for $8.00!! Wide variety here. Same with the liquor selection: a half pint of rubbing alcohol flavored vodka for pocket change or a pint of imported small batch Scotch for half a days wage, and everything in between. Large selection of munchies, snacks, and non-nutritious microwave food (best eaten at two a.m. when youre three sheets to the wind!) Say hi to the chubby gay Mexican guy working the register.
