Allen was my sales associate, excellent customer service let us wander and never hovered. Had many good suggestions and recommendations for our needs. Love’s as a whole had a great selection for every budget. Had to order what we selected, with it being a pandemic it took about 20 days, Allen kept me updated on the status when delays. Had a problem with delivery, the chair was marked incorrectly, the delivery men were very apologetic and sweet. Called customer service and I’ll have it by the end of the week. There was a price change, $100 difference in the 30 days and they were quick to refund the money. Highly recommend. Will be going to see Allen for other furniture needs.
Just the best experience EVER. Juan was the wonderful gentleman my mother and I worked with as we looked for a new mattress for her. Juan is a wealth of information with experience dealing with senior citizen mattress and mobility issues and we were able to make a fully informed decision, at my mothers pace, without any pressure, unlike other experiences weve had at other furniture stores. Then, as my mom wants to look at a new sofa, we spoke with another wonderful gentleman, Damon, who is also a wealth of information and a pleasure to work with. Mom got tired but we will be back after the holiday and work with Damon for a new sofa as well. Weve found a new furniture store! If you havent tried Loves, try it. You wont be disappointed.
I bought some 2for 6$ pillows on Black Friday. I wasnt expecting them to be so comfy! My husband and I love them and are super grateful for the great quality as well as the wonderful sleep staff at Loves-Juan and JR! They both gave me some good insight as well as service so it was all around great. Thank you!!
We highly recommend Loves Furniture & Mattress! The store was welcoming, organized, and had a great selection. My husband and I were shopping for a sectional couch and king size mattress, with the anticipation to not purchase yet. We worked with Damon, who was above and beyond knowledgeable, friendly and smart. He never pressured us, while also keeping us educated on the product. Needless to say we bought both items then and there! We can’t say enough good things about our experience!
I visited Loves on Friday and was assisted by Allen Anderson. He listened, and wasted no time finding pieces which would meet my needs. Allen was able to answer my questions, and for those questions he couldnt answer himself, he found answers immediately. Earlier this evening I purchased a chair and loveseat from your Ann Arbor store. I have to say it was one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had in many years. Damon W. was the sales person who assisted me. He went way above and beyond anything I could have expected! After reading numerous reviews, AFTER dealing with these scam artists our family has come to realize that Loves furniture in Ann Arbor is the lowest form of furniture manufacturing and furniture distribution. My wife and I purchased a tempurpedic mattress from this location after an amiable sales representative gave us great pricing and acceptable lead time for delivery. After scheduling our first delivery date we were told it was a “Tentative” delivery date and had to re-schedule for 5 days later which we accepted cordially. After receiving confirmation of the product being in stock and my delivery day I scheduled to take a half day off at work to meet the associates for delivery. AS I WAS PULLING IN MY DRIVEWAY ON DELIVERY DAY an hour before the delivery was scheduled to arrive I received a phone call from a 1-800 number stating that my mattress was back ordered and will not be available until NOVEMBER. I try to give them the opportunity to expedite a mattress to their store and was told I would be contacted back within a couple hours. I waited nearly 5 before calling to find they were ignoring my phone number. How do I know this you ask? I decided to call multiple times with no answer and switched to my daughters phone in which they answered on the first ring and the shock in the managers voice after hearing me again was both comical and disturbing. She said it takes up to 24 hours to receive word from a local store on if they can get it in stock. My wife and I were fed up with the fact that it was obvious we were being blatantly ignored. At this point we decided to call a different furniture company and were able to receive the same mattress THE NEXT DAY... DO NOT SHOP HERE. LOVES FURNITURE, YOU HAVE FAILED THIS CITY...
We are very excited about our purchase of a sofa and love seat! With wonderful help from Allen at the Ann Arbor location, we were able to find something that’s going to look great in our house! He helped us to choose a good color and a set that will provide comfort and functionality to our growing family. He helped us find something that was in our budget and answered all of our questions. He was really caring about our family’s needs and was friendly, relatable, and fun to talk/work with.We never felt rushed or pressured to make a quick decisions and we weren’t hounded by different salesman/saleswomen as we browsed around. They had many great pieces of furniture at great prices and the environment of the store was spacious enough to move around from area to area without feeling overwhelmed with clutter. I ordered two pieces in store. Damon was phenomenal. I wish I could leave a positive review, just because he was good. In fact, hes the only reason Im even leaving 2 stars.I was given a delivery date, but never heard a word from anyone. I called the day of scheduled delivery to find out if it was coming. The woman who answered the phone said the bad news is, youre not getting delivery today as if this was funny to her. I understand that delivery dates need to be adjusted here and there. My delivery date was changed to 2.5 weeks after my original scheduled delivery, which puts it at a month after I ordered. If I would have known it would take that long, I NEVER would have ordered from this company.No one called. As far as I know, no one would have ever called me. I was given the excuse that theyre changing warehouses. Thats unfortunate, but they shouldnt have told customers they would have furniture they couldnt deliver. Its not the customers fault you cant manage your logistics. Terrible customer service after the order. They have your money, I guess thats what matters.
I am EXTREMELY upset with Loves and their services. I normally do not right reviews but this warranted it because I am sure they will continue to take money from customers for items they don’t have. I went to the Ann Arbor location and fell in love with a dining room set that had both chairs and benches. As I was making the purchase the sales associate let me know that the table and benches were in stock but the chairs would not be available until Early November, she then talked me into purchasing extra benches just in case the chairs took awhile and with the holidays just around the corner I felt it was a good backup plan. This was on 9/16/2020 at this point I am told I will receive my items on 10/2. That date approaches and I get a call telling me that there was a mistake and my benches are on pre-order and won’t be available until 10/14 but I can move back my delivery date and receive my tables, chairs, and benches on 10/14. I am completely okay with this, I was in love with the set and was more than willing to wait. I did feel skeptical that the extra item she talked me into buying was the one out of stock but I let it go. I went out and purchased items to go with my new table in preparation. So then I get a delivery confirmation for 10/12 I figure great 2 days early even better. The day before the delivery I donate all of my current furniture to leave the room empty for delivery. I receive a call the afternoon of the delivery from the store and I am told that she “was unsure if customer service had contacted me yet, but when they loaded the truck my table, benches, and one chair were not there but I could still have them deliver 2 of my chairs” at this point I am very annoyed, this has been almost a month of back and forth and the story is always different. She tells me to call customer service, so I do and after an hour on hold I am told my items won’t be available until November 25 or December 1. I was just done, I asked for my refund. I saved for a while to be able to purchase a new set and spent almost $1,500 just to end up with nothing and I now have to wait 5-7 days for my refund that at this point I am not even sure I will get. What kills me is they were going to let the delivery show up here with only 2 chairs leaving me confused and unable to get a full refund had I let them leave the chairs at my home. They are selling items they don’t have and have no idea when they will have them. In my mind that is a scam. You are selling the idea of an item not the real thing. That’s stealing, I now have Thanksgiving approaching and a room with no furniture. I am not financially comfortable and have to save up for everything. I now will wait a week or more for my refund before I can purchase another set that I will likely have to wait for as well. Please DO NOT purchase from them, they opened well before they were prepared to and are taking people money as they work out the kinks. The I store customer service was lovely but everything past that is dreadful.
2 stars only because the furniture is really nice and great quality. The 2 gentlemen (Daman and Allen) are great salesman. They both are patient and didnt pressure a sale. We chose to not do delivery and pick up our living room set (sectional, 2 end tables and coffee table) as well as a dining set table with 6 chairs. Kept getting pushed back MONTHS with no knowledge of when we would ever get it. Ended up taking the showroom floor furniture, then had to drive AN HOUR away, to pick up some chairs for our table. They are completely unorganized and cannot guarantee anything. So happy to finally have all of our furniture that we ordered at the end of August. So happy to be rid of the headache. No longer shopping there in the future.

The furniture is awesome..but the best thing is you do NOT get accosted by pushy sales people! Sincerely knowledgeable staff and comfortable experience. We recently made our first purchase at Loves and were extremely please. Our salesperson was great! Their system for delivery notification and updates was excellent. We got the white glove delivery and were completely satisfied. Our salesperson especially went the Extra Mile!!
Same exact story as everyone else. I ordered a sectional and was provided a delivery date 10 days out. Delivery date came and went with no delivery. Called to find out whats going on and was basically told we have warehousing and delivery issues and we have no idea when that sectional will be in stock. They had no problem telling me it was in stock as I swiped my credit card, but the truth came out when it came time to actually deliver the product. The floor sales guy Allen was real nice and friendly but unfortunately this company is a joke. They have no idea whats in stock and cant tell you when theyll get new stock. After waiting another week or so with zero progress, we decided to cancel our order. At least that was a simple process.
Melissa took the stress out of shopping for a bed. Found exactly what I needed with prompt service and personal attention. Store is nice and modern. A pleasant shopping experience.

Great experience. I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for, and the staff was really helpful with guiding me in the right direction for a good couch. We worked directly with Arianna, and she was the kind of person you would happily invite to your family Thanksgiving dinner. Super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. If there was a small detail regarding a product she didnt know, she was very honest and validated every piece of information she delivered was correct. Highly recommend Loves, and Arianna as a representative of their business.EDIT/UPDATE: 10/16The delivery of my couch, once again, has been delayed upon reaching the provided delivery window. First time, the couch never arrived with the table and I was charged for both. After calling the store, they updated the delivery window to about 2 additional weeks and partially refunded my white glove service fee. The delivered table was not assembled correctly and I had to reassemble it myself. Today at 12:34pm (delivery window from 12:30-3:30) I received a call saying the couch was never in the warehouse despite receiving a delivery confirmation yesterday. Its going to be another two weeks. While the staff is friendly, their logistics needs a lot of help.

Went into Loves, no pressure at all. I felt welcomed and I could enjoy my time looking. Bought my sectional and desk from Damon. Due to covid it was out of stock. He didn’t lie to me to get the sale, I got my delivery the exact day he told me I would. He kept up with me before and after the delivery, made sure everything went ok. The delivery team was great they got it all knocked out fast & were very nice.
This company has the absolute worst customer service! 55 minute wait times on the phone, and not accommodating when they made mistakes. I ordered a mattress and only the box spring came, they told me my money wouldn’t be refunded till they came to pick up there merchandise. On the pick up day they sent there trucks to my billing address and not my shipping address where in fact the box spring was delivered. I have to wait several more days for my refund! Management doesn’t want to help you and will tell you that it’s “out of there hands” to make it right!Absolutely terrible!!! Will never shop here again and would tell anyone who may think of shopping here to think twice! Not worth the headache!
We recently purchased a sofa, two recliners, and an ottoman at Loves. We were extremely pleased with our salesperson, Arienna! She is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and very patient! After talking with us, she understood what we were looking for and directed us to several options! She made the entire process easy! We definitely will return to Loves in the future and look forward to working with Arienna again!

Update:Today my husband took a 3rd day off work so he could be there when the furniture was delivered. For the THIRD time, we were brought 2 love seats rather than 2 chairs. No one has contacted him yet even though he went to the store to see someone in management☹☹If you check my history, you can see that I very rarely give a company a bad review. However, Loves has went above and beyond in the area of apathy and incompetence.Initial review:Our initial delivery was scheduled 2 weeks ago. We had ordered 5 pieces of furniture and received 3. Yesterday, they came to deliver the remaining 3 pieces but they were missing 2. Now we have to wait another 2 weeks and maybe well get the rest of our furniture??? This has been tremendously inconvenient. Itd be nice if management at Loves seemed to care at all, but I guess theyre unconcerned now that they have our money.
I purchased a couch over Labor Day weekend. The sales rep assured me that the couch was in stock and the warehouse could deliver it later that week. A day before delivery, I received a phone call stating that the couch would not be delivered that day and the delivery date was pushed back 11 days. The couch was supposed to be delivered today and when it didn’t come in the time frame Loves provided, I called customer service to ask if they were running late. I was told the couch wasn’t on the truck and the next they can deliver it is October 1st. I called the store directly and spoke with a manager who told me the couch was ready to be delivered today, and is at the warehouse, but it was possible they had staffing issues and couldn’t get it loaded. Apparently, that’s been an issue. The manager said she would speak with the warehouse and see if we could get it before the 1st. Customer service just called me back to reschedule (after I had already rescheduled early this afternoon), and they told me the couch isn’t actually at the warehouse, it’s out of stock. The customer service rep told me they should have it by the 1st, but it’s not guaranteed.I have no idea what is actually going on and if my couch is at the warehouse, in stock or if it even exists. The store manager has yet to follow up. They offered me a gift card to the store, which I declined because I doubt I will stop there again. They haven’t been up-front or honest, or seem to even know what’s going on. If my couch isn’t sitting in my living room soon, I’m going to cancel my order. Ordinarily, Id be a bit more patient... but we moved to a new place and didnt bring our old couch (after they told us wed get the couch in a few days), so weve been couchless and have nowhere to sit. We’ll see what happens...

So, I went there looking for a mattress and foundation and was greeted by MELISSA!! Seriously she did an amazing job with THREE different guests there for her. We didn’t feel rushed about the purchase and she stay close if not below my budget that I want to spend. If you ever need something furniture or bed wise I would recommend going to this Love Furniture and talk to Melissa!! Definitely coming back for her when I need a new temper mattress! Haven’t been disappointed yet.
We really enjoyed shopping at Loves. We told our Home Specialist Mary Maule what we were looking for and she showed us exactly what we were looking for. She definately knows her stuff. The furniture was on sale at a good price and we took advantage of their same as cash program. The furniture came in 2 weeks earlier than expected as well. We will definately be back to see Mary for our furniture needs.

I ordered a couch back in September that was in stock. I knew that because of the pandemic that there would be a delay but not this bad and at this point, they cant blame it on the pandemic anymore. In the middle of October I received 2/3 of my couch and the delivery guys had no idea where the last piece was. So I called right away and they told me that specific piece was out of stock. Even though they said it was in stock. So they rescheduled delivery for the first week of November. I called the day it was supposed to be delivered and they said they didnt have me down for delivery and they were once again out of stock. Frustrated, I explained that I am an essential worker and having to take time off to receive this couch and all they would offer was a $100 giftcard. So after rescheduling 3 more times, my couch was supposed to arrive today. But the piece is again OUT OF STOCK. Now they are predicting for it to be here on December 28th but cannot guarantee anything. The couch is also mediocre quality for the price paid. I will NEVER be shopping here again.

I would give zero stars if at all possible. At first, my experience was pretty good. I purchased my mattress on September 19th, was told that no delivery option available until the following week. I scheduled my delivery for Friday October 2nd. I was given a 3 hour window for delivery. During the delivery window, I never received a phone call, text message or an email. Very near the end of my delivery window I HAD TO CALL THEM to find out that my mattress was not going to be delivered! They were not able to locate or make contact with the delivery driver. I spoke to my salesman the next day since they closed right after NOT DELIVERING MY ORDER. When I spoke to him, I was told ‘hm, I don’t know why this would not have been delivered. There’s confirmation of my phone number, delivery date, address, etc.’ I still have NO ANSWER as to why my delivery did not happen. I was also told that they were not be able to deliver it today and I’d have to reschedule another window for delivery. That’s where I canceled my order! This is the absolute worst customer service I can imagine! DO NOT SHOP AT LOVE’S FURNITURE! THEY DO NOT KEEP THEIR PROMISES OR MAKE THINGS RIGHT! DO NOT SHOP AT LOVE’S FURNITURE! Recently bought a couch and recliner from Loves. John Smallwood was our salesperson and took care of us excellently. Delivery was on time (in fact early). Very pleased with communication from John and the store. Will be back!
If I could make this so it shows 0 stars I would. I ordered an in stock mattress on 10/25/20 with the ordering arriving in 1 week. The order still has not arrived on 11/25/20 and I was told it would be at least another 2 weeks before the mattress would potentially arrive. I did cancel my order.The ability to get an answer from anyone of why is difficult - it ranged from staffing in the store, to staffing at the warehouse, the staffing at customer service as well as that the warehouses were merging. At one point I was told that it is my responsibility to call to reschedule the arrival of the order when it didnt arrive. The customer service line took days to respond to messages left. NEVER will I shop here again or recommend this store.
Everyone was kind and welcoming. Damen helped me out, and I was in and out in no time. He was friendly and respectful of my budget. Very excited about my new couch!

No one knows where stock is and you cant go to the warehouse to pick-up the things that you buy. They dont have enough employees in the warehouse to make deliveries directly to the store for customer pick-ups or to deliver direct to your home. They should have NEVER opened until they were fully ready to accept customer orders and deliver materials. I wish my sales representative had told me that I would not get my material for over a month, I would have never paid for my merchandise in the store. BEWARE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - IM TELLING YOU - DONT BUY FROM THIS PLACE - YOU WILL REGET IT!
Ordered dinning set on 10/12 for instore pickup. Pickup is on 10/16. Called 10/16, they said it wouldn’t come on the truck till 10/19. Called 10/19, they said we don’t get trucks on mondays. So you won’t get it until 10/20 but no guarantee. Terrible service they always say we will figure it out and call you back but they don’t call you back. Going to the store and getting my money back
If I could give less stars I would. I ordered furniture (dresser, mirror and 2 nightstands) in Sept. from Loves Furniture. I was told that the furniture was not in stock due to Covid after making the purchase online someone called and told me that. They said it couldn’t be delivered until Oct. 24th and I would have to wait a month. The day before my scheduled delivery I received a text message Oct 23rd confirming I would receive my furniture between 12:45-3:45. On Oct 24th at 4:56PM I had not received my delivery and no one bothered to call me. I called CS all day and finally got someone on the line and was told that the merchandise never made on the truck and that it was at the warehouse in Warren. I donated my old furniture so I could make room for my furniture and now I don’t have any furniture. I made a purchase in good faith, they have over $1000 of my money and I don’t have furniture and no one seems to care. I am shocked. I’ve never experienced such disregard and disrespect from any company. I was told that they would “try” to get me an expedited shipping date after not showing up. I received an email saying that they can’t expedite it and they can’t ship it until Nov. 9th. I made this purchase Sept. 28th and waited patiently just to be duped now they’re saying wait until Nov 9th? Horrible, Horrific Company that does not do business in good faith. They will take your money and they won’t deliver your furniture and treat you like you are bothering them for wanting what you paid for.Update 10/29: Still waiting on a response. Still waiting for someone to contact me. I emailed per the reply from Loves and nothing.

Buyers Beware.. For those that dont know, Loves Furniture took over the existing Art Van locations after they closed, and are operating under a new business and new name, Loves Furniture. I walked in on a Saturday, met with a great sales lady, Melissa, fell in love with a great piece of furniture, and bought my first sectional. Melissa told me it would be ready for pick up the following Wednesday.It has now been 2 weeks since the promised pickup day, and the company keeps extending the delivery date saying, the truck is coming today, then, the truck is coming in a few days continually pushing the delivery date further and further without any kind of guarantee in sight. Further, ive asked to cut out the unreliable truck delivery & they are NOT allowing customers to go to the warehouse and pick up the furniture that they purchased.Whats the moral of the story here?- Loves IS a new business, but they should still uphold their word if they are going to give it.- No one is disputing quality of the product, or quantity there of to choose from, infact my 2 stars are dedicated to how satisfied I was with what I purchased. However, it was every part of the experience after paying, that soured my opinion of this business.REVIEW UPDATE:During the process of being given the runaround, I reached out to the holding company that owned Loves, USASSETS. After that email sent, ‘Whisper’ in customer care got a hold of me within 4 hours and the process began to turn around to a more positive note. My customer care representative treated my order like a priority, and reached out to me with updates via phone call at my convenience almost every business day with updates on locating and ensuring the order it was on its way. Within getting in touch with the representative the couch was at my door within a week. I have been waiting to make a purchase for awhile, and I follow Robert Bryant my furniture consultant, but today the purchase was bedding. He took me to his specialist at store and he was very patient with me and just gave me amazing customer service .. you won’t find a better store or better guys to work with .
This place is awful. I went in and purchased 6k worth of items. On delivery day I received 5 of 16 items. They then told me that my other items were out of stock and would hopefully be in stock in a couple months, but couldnt guarantee it. The morning of delivery they even sent me an item list of what was on the truck and that still wasnt correct. I would pay double anywhere else then to ever deal with this place again.

Where do I begin? We purchased a dining set for our new apartment during the Labor Day sale and still have yet to receive everything. We had a relatively pleasant experience shopping for the dining set (thanks to Greg; another associate made us pretty uncomfortable so we sought him out instead of her). We purchased a chair set that had two different type chairs (fabric back and wooden back) and got two of each.Delivery day arrives towards the end of the month of September (around 25/26) and we receive our text notification that the delivery drivers are on the way. They show up and let us know that two of the chairs arent in the order but that they will set up the other chairs and table. Sigh. Wish we could have known ahead of time, considering they said we would get all 5 pieces delivered in the text that morning, but we try to remain positive and get a call from their customer service later. They set up a time to make the next delivery, check the status and let us know Oct 6 is the day theyll deliver them. She puts me on hold and when she returns, lets me know that Oct 12 is now the day theyll deliver. A little fishy, but we accept it and continue in our excitement for our new furniture.Oct 10 arrives and we get a text to confirm our delivery of the two chairs. We confirm and are excited that well finally have the full set we paid over $1000 for. Shouldnt have gotten our hopes up. Oct 12 rolls around and we get a call in the morning from Ashley in customer service saying they wont be able to deliver them today because they arent in stock but she is pretty sure she can get them to us at the end of the week (sometime around Oct 15). We also inquire about a discount and she says she will check to see how much she can provide for us but she will get back to us within 24 hours about the discount and the delivery day. I hang up and never hear back from her again.I call back Wednesday Oct 14 because I havent heard anything, but the phone rings for a bit before prompting me to either stay on the call and wait for a rep, get in line and they will call me back, or leave a voicemail. Since I have a meeting coming up, I decide the get in line option. Im still technically in line as I havent received a call back in a week (it is now Oct 21).In the interim (probably about last Friday), my partner calls and speaks with someone (miraculously getting through the line) and they inform him they cant even find the order. After much back and forth, they finally locate it and let us know they dont have a refund amount or delivery date. She says she needs to talk to Ashley to find out how much of a reimbursement we can get but theyll call us back. He said we would be happy to look at other chairs if that is helpful, she doesnt really acknowledge this.Cut to today. My partner has been on hold waiting for 45 minutes, Ive tried calling and leaving a voicemail but neither of us have heard from them.READ THE REVIEWS. Clearly folks are excited about their products and they have no trouble selling them, but they have quite a bit of trouble following through with the delivery. I know youre just setting up this business, but this is unacceptable to have no clue when things will be delivered or if theyre even in stock. They are currently holding over $200 worth of products (chairs + insurance) and we still have yet to determine if the chairs even exists. In trying to sell you furniture, their sales team may disparage other furniture stores in the area - dont listen to them. Go somewhere else or wait months for your furniture with no response.
It was very comfortable and smooth. No one forced me to get something I did not want.
I had a loveseat, couch and ottoman delivered. The ottoman did not come with screws and the crew could not find them. They submitted a service request for someone to come out and install the legs to the ottoman and thought it would be within a few days but we are a month out and still havent heard anything. I submitted a warranty claim, contacted customer support and I have still not had any progress. I would never recommend Loves to anyone looking and would never purchase it again myself.
