I would give them 10 Stars if I could. The staff here was beyond friendly and did everything they could to help. The facilities were very clean and inviting. They had refreshments for those that needed to wait for their vehicle. The area was very clean and the employees were very nicely dressed. My car was repaired and was very clean like they had never been there.

I had to get Safelite twice in two weeks for windshield replacements due to storms and debris. Both times, they were extremely professional from start to finish. Wish all services were run this well!

Had a goose crash into the windshield while going fishing. Setup and appointment was a breeze online, and it costed less (~$375) and took less time (1.5 hours) to replace the windshield than I expected. It looks great now. Be careful out there - apparently goose crashing is very common these days. They had 3 cars on the same day with the similar problem.

Had an appointment at 11 and they were finished by noon. All of the employees were very nice, and friendly. They had hot and cold beverage for the customers. Waiting room was very clean.

I was not able to get my window replaced though no fault of safelite.I forgot to bring the rubber gasket that goes around the window. I would normally use a local business ( not sure what I was thinking ) . I had other appointments in A2 so why not. Renee was super helpful and pleasant to work with. She rescheduled for them to come to my home on Tuesday. Sadly I dont remember his name but he put a clear plastic material over the opening. Water tight until Tuesday. Great people work at this location.

I went to this safelite because my insurance told me to go here to fix a broken window. They replaced the window but couldn’t lower to where it had before. I was okay with that and didn’t think anything of it. Then a couple weeks after the repair the window fell straight through into the door. I called them (not easy to find a number to reach an actual person) to get them to fix it and they were adamant that the problem I was having was with the regulator which can naturally stop working after a while. The mechanic told me he had noticed the regulator was having trouble when he repaired the glass but had not told me at the time of the repair! Then he tried to get me to have him fix it but I didn’t trust him because he hadn’t told me so it seemed like he was trying to scam me. I took my car to the dealership and they looked at it and said the regulator was fine but a screw on one of the clamps was broken, likely when the glass had been installed as my window was working fine before all of this. So the mechanic had likely broken this part then straight up lied to me about what was wrong with my car (because he had seen into the door and knew what was up with it the whole time)to try and cover his tracks. And I still had to get my window fixed somewhere else. Avoid this place!

I changed my review after this location provided excellent service with replacing my windshield. Staff are friendly and attentive. The call center is horrible. They change my appointment location without informing me. They are also very hard to deal with. So I gave a 5 stars to the Jackson location and a zero to the call center angents!

Scheduling was very easy. They came to my home to fix my windshield on a crazy rainy day. They were able to fix right in my garage. They called ahead, were here on time, and finished quickly. I didnt have to do anything but just check it out at the end. Smooth, easy process and the result was a beautiful new windshield.

You cannot speak with someone. Everything is done online. Price was over $100 higher than another auto glass business.

Weve used this Safelite location three times now and are very happy with the service. Youre in and out in a couple hours including recalibration.

I scheduled online to have my passenger window fixed. I was scheduled 2 weeks out. They called days before my scheduled appointment to tell me they had to custom order the part. I was scheduled out a week later. Then they called and told me they needed my credit card information before they ordered the part and that me appointment needed to be rescheduled again for 2 weeks out. It took me about a month to get my window fixed. Very inconvenient. Had they just checked and ordered the part when I first made the appointment I could have avoided 10+ phone calls and a month of driving windowless. Needless to say, I would not recommend Safelite if you want your car fixed in a timely manner.

We ordered a windshield replacement from this branch. They rescheduled twice (minutes past the schedule time to be here) and when they finally did arrive they arrived 3 hours after the window they told us they would be within. Once they finally finished they left our car with tape on the top and both the side pieces broken. SO we have a windsheild with tape along the sides and large fasteners sticking out since the molding has been broken and left off. The installer assured they would be back soon to replace those pieces which were broken during replacement... almost a month later we still havent had them replaced and cannot get a hold of them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I have used this this business 2 times for windshield repair. They are consistently AWESOME!! Professional, they took me ahead of my appt. Did a great job on chip and just were great to deal with!! The team that works there all seem to get along and are nice to each other!! That makes a big difference when you have work done on your car. Instills a lot more confidence they will do their best and I really feel they did. Much appreciated. I would recommend this Safelite Ann Arbor location to absolutely anyone. I am bringing my other car to get a chip fixed soon. Do it now before cold weather. You dont want those to spread with weather changes. MM

I should give satélite a better rating because in the end the window was fixed and it was done properly. But it took half the day to complete. And I ended up with an expensive pair of windshield wipers that I thought was an apology gift for all the hassle. I had just asked for a discount. He wasn’t able to print a receipt for whatever reason so I didn’t realize that I was charged until I got my credit card bill and they were expensive. What a scam! I can’t recommend them!

Safelite is a nightmare! Had a new windshield installed last February for $1k, immediately had a substantial air leak. Came out and repaired. Three weeks ago, discovered another leak while going through the car wash. Took an hour just to get an actual number to call where I did not get a voicemail stating they could not answer the phone due to the pandemic. I kept being directed to their website that would not allow me to schedule a warranty appointment. Finally got an appointment scheduled and waited around for 5 hours on a Saturday for the tech to no call, no show. Repeat my time wasted the next week trying to get another appointment scheduled, finally had to file a complaint with the BBB. Tech eventually came out for a reinstall, said the seal had “come loose”. The windshield is clearly low rate, impossible to clean and in the right light I can see little blue bubbles in the glass. I will never use Safelite again under any circumstances and I do not recommend that anyone else use them either.

Exceptional customer service. There were a couple issues with the windshield coming in, but their friendly staff made up for that.

We bought a new to us 2018 Macan GTS... my wifes new pride and joy. She had the vehicle less than a week when a nut fell from a tree while she was driving and hit the most improbable spot on the windshield, below the hood line. Of course, this caused a crack that quickly covered the entire height of the glass.We set up our appt and had a fitment issue with the first windscreen. I noticed it when she brought the car home. She took it by the shop the next, day and they immediately agreed, ordered a new windshield, and scheduled a re-install.Sure, it took a second attempt, but I really feel the first glass was poorly manufactured. I took the car in for the second install and was treated with great courtesy. I went to a local coffee shop and chilled for a bit and within about 3 hours, the shop manager came and grabbed me for a quick inspection. This was nothing they had to do... just let me check everything out while the technician was finishing up. It looked perfect.We tested all the functions out on the vehicle including Lane Keep Assist, rain sensing wipers, auto headlights, auto bright/dimming feature, and of course, the seal. It really looks original.For anyone that has worked on cars, especially anything dealing with aesthetics, this is very tough. Its easy to sit back and say they should have done this right the first time, but windshield replacement is a skilled craft. Ive done about everything as far as car repair and body work, and I know windshield repair/replacement is a very special craft. These guys really are trained to the highest level on this.

I had a good experience @ the Ann Arbor Safelite Auto Glass shop, service and price.I left pleased.

Paid out of pocket for a windshield ($600+) and after a month the housing around my lane departure system fell right off. All retainer clips were broken. Called to schedule a time for repair, set a date and time, and it was cancelled without any notice. You also cannot call these people. Local numbers go to their headquarters where “they are unable to answer your call” Avoid. Even if your carrier tells you to go there, you don’t have to, go elsewhere.

I have used Safelite AutoGlass several times for various repairs and replacements. I recently visited this location for a windshield replacement. The staff was very friendly and took care of my repair without issue. However, within the first week, I noticed my rearview mirror was shaking, badly. After a few weeks I finally made it back in and they were able to take a look at it right then and there. The repair technician wasnt sure if he could fix it, but was willing to try. After about 10 minutes he came back and said he was able to fix it up for me. He took me out to my car to show me and explain what he did to remedy my loose mirror, which he did not have to do, but I greatly appreciated knowing what the problem and fix was! It turned out that how the mirror mount was engineered, didnt allow for him to fully tighten the mount back up, so a simple spacer was needed to get the mount tight to the base. Based on this experience, I would happily recommend this location to anyone. I wish I knew the techs name, but I am very appreciative of the help I received!

Fast and good repair. Two chips worked on. Cosmetic blemishes still present, but it should be structurally sound. One is almost invisible now, the other reduced by about 50%. I wish I had come by even sooner.The price was not low. Around 130$ for two chips. It took about an hour. Longer than the 30-40 minutes that was initially mentioned. They did my service an hour early after I booked online and showed up right away. Very friendly tech. Clean location, quiet waiting room. They need a bit more parking...Also had to have my card typed in. Silly that they dont have a card reader.

I would give the gentleman who helped me five stars. I had two small cracks in my windshield. There was only one person in the shop, and at least three people during my time there needed service. I brought plenty of things to do with me, so I didnt notice the wait time. He was able to completely repair one of the cracks. The other is pretty close to the edge of the windshield and he was unable to get the repair material into it . He explained thoroughly that this crack might find its way to the edge (not far) and that it poses no safety issues. He also explained the guarantee thoroughly, and that if we were not happy our insurance would be reimbursed for that part of the repair work, and Safelite would replace the windshield. We would need to then pay our $100 insurance deductible for the replacement. We really dont even notice this crack, so we are likely to let it be, since there is no safety issue.There was apparently some 4 p.m. out-of-town company meeting that all employees were supposed to attend, yet no arrangements were made to close the business early. I am glad that this employee stayed to work. The appointment phone line technician was still scheduling appointments for at least 3:30 and 4.

I had a few chips in my windshield and my insurance referred me here. I got an appointment within a few days and the repair was done quickly while I waited. Fast, friendly, and a good repair.

A semi kicked back a rock and chipped my windshield on my way home from work on Friday, I made a claim as soon as I got home and heard back from the insurance company about 24 hours later. The insurance agent set up my appointment with Safelite for Monday afternoon. Rodney at the front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. Tony who worked on my car was absolutely amazing! He took me out and showed me that the chip was a double tap and had multiple impact points and could take a little longer to fill. He was super quick and efficient and you could barely see the chips once he was finished. Great customer service! I will highly recommend Safelite on Jackson to all of my friends and family in the A2 area!

Their website is super easy to use to make an appointment and enter your insurance information. I had a chip I wanted repaired and it was able to determine my insurance covered it completely so I never even had to enter payment info. At the shop they were actually able to start my repair early and it took less than half an hour. The waiting room is clean and fairly quiet, and theres wifi and a Keurig machine. The employees were all very polite. The actual repair turned out great as well. A dime-sized chip now just looks like a little speck.

Tried to call in to get a simple price quote to repair a chip in my windshield, I got stuck in auto attendant asking me repeatedly how many cracks I had in my windshield and refusing to acknowledge one. When I tried to divert to an actual representative, the automated system refused to let me through and kept insisting on asking for more information.I gave up and decided to go elsewhere, I shouldnt have to fight with an IVR for 5 minutes to get a 5 second question answered.

My experience today at the Jackson Rd. Safelite was absolutely stellar. My windshield replacement was done in record time, around 45 minutes, and my agent (whose name I didnt catch, sorry!) was so friendly and helpful. I wish I would have fixed my windshield sooner! I would recommend getting a credit card swiper for the office. I got a card not present email from my credit card company since my card number had to be entered into the computer manually. I mean, come on. Its 2017.

Key points:-They ordered the wrong windshield-Didnt put in a order for the new one even though they said they wouldI Spoke to a representative over the phone when setting up my appointment. They were very nice and we were able to choose the correct windshield. However, THEY ORDERED A DIFFERENT WINDSHIELD! I didnt find this out until I arrived to have it changed.They said they would reorder the correct one and would text me when I could reschedule (about 2 days). This was 23 days ago, and I still havent heard back from them.UPDATE:. Turns out they didnt even order the new windshield, and they couldnt find my VIN number even though I told 3 different people at different times.UPDATE 2: Turns out the windshield I need is on back order from the OEM. Not much they cant do...
