Our entire experience with Ferguson, from start to finish, was outstanding. Our sales rep, Sue Daniels was professional, knew her products and kept us informed every step of the way. She is wonderful to work with and was spot on with our delivery and installation.The service crew, led by Ron, was stellar. They were on time and took great care with the installation. It was not a simple swap out and they did a tremendous job with our custom, faux finished panels. I have NEVER been as pleased with a company or service as I am with Ferguson! In a C- world this company and the people I had the pleasure of working with deserve an A+!I will always use and would recommend Ferguson to anyone looking for appliances.
We visited Ferguson on Jackson at our contractors recommendation. We booked an appointment and looked forward to browsing their excellent selection of products. Unfortunately, we didnt get to see much and we were subjected to unsafe practices.1) The consultant (Sue) wore a protective mask - BELOW her nose. She repeatedly pulled it down. We stood as far away as possible.2) Sue was friendly, but rushed. She ushered us to a few spots to show us things people usually select, entered a few ideas into the system as selections, then recommended we browse the web site and call with questions.3) Sue didnt reply to our emails and cannot be reached via phone. Her voicemail tells you to call the client service center because shes experiencing a very high volume of calls.4) I called and asked to speak to another consultant, but the receptionist stated that is against policy, so she patched me through to client services.While their product selection is outstanding, the customer service was disappointing. We purchased here to please our contractor, but wont return.

Heidi helped me to purchase a new kitchen faucet as ours was old and leaking. Heidi emailed potential choices and we ordered later that day. The faucet was sent directly to our home and arrived two days after we ordered it....quickly in this pandemic! The installation went well but the spray nozzle was defective. I called Heidi and had a replacement the next day. The service she provided was expedient, personal and appreciated. Much better than going to a big box store. Seamless and safe!
I have been considering a few updates for my home I called spoke to Sue, I would recommend her to anyone that needs someone that is knowledgeable about the products they sell. She must have patience cause I had a ton of questions. She was able to answer all of them and help me make some big decisions.
None of the staff knew the answer to any of my questions, and kept redirecting me to other staff. I took their recommendation and scheduled an appointment with a consultant, thinking this would help me. I do appreciate that they were able to see me same day, even though I was told its not their policy. However, my experience with Gina was less than stellar. I kept having to repeat myself, which isnt usually a problem for me if someone is truly trying. I didnt end up ordering with her, because her condescending attitude was the last straw. I ended up going to a different Fergusons, which was a much better experience.
I have worked with Sue Cyprus Daniels twice in the past year on 2 major house renovation projects. She is absolutely the best! I highly recommend working with Sue.

Do NOT work with Sue.EDIT: Attached image of business card from horrible woman.The nice girl was named Gina Brown (HIGHLY recommend working with her if you go here).Went here a few times... sad tale.Some good people but one HORRIBLE one ruined everything.My advice: without some serious changes, dont bother going here.The first time we came here, we worked with a nice brunette girl with glasses (I lost her card - she was the shorter one with straight hair). She was so nice to us and treated us like we were really important to her, even though we told her we were just looking and getting ideas.She answered all of our questions, offered us coffee, even told us about checking out samples and had some really good advice. We told her we had to come back another time and really wanted to make an appointment with her when we returned, but she wasnt able to take appointments (I have no idea why not. She was so knowledgeable and friendly. Such a disappointment to have to go to someone else when she made us feel so welcome) but we tried again later, hoping to just catch her at the right time.When we came back, the kind young lady was working with someone else (we didnt make an appointment so we could try to see her again) so the woman at the front desk said shed ask someone else to help us. The two other brunette women were busy with other customers so we waited for someone to help, and ended up with a very sour taste about the whole place.The curt blonde woman we ended up working with was treating my wife and I like we werent worth her time at all. She was unprofessional, rude and seemed too busy to care about us. She didnt listen to us when we told her what we liked and continued to say things like no, you want this one, even though we repeatedly told her we didnt like the styles she was pushing us towards. We kept getting the sense that she didnt like us and we both felt very uncomfortable throughout the whole experience.We told her we needed to think about our choices and went to browse around; my wife later heard her say something about us in a mean tone under her breath when we were in the back of the store. I dont think she saw us back there. Maybe she thought we left already. Heartbreaking experience.We havent been back and weve told our friends and families about the ordeal. My wife (who cried in the car on the way home) and I were so disappointed with the whole experience. I dont know why that senselessly rude woman was working there, or why the kind-hearted young lady couldnt take appointments. The whole thing seems backwards and idiotic.What a terrible representation of a place we once thought so highly of.I hope they know how much business theyve lost from that bigoted, hateful person and how much they would have to gain from promoting the girl who cares.
The service at Ferguson has been terrific - I have purchased from them for 5 bathrooms and a kitchen. They are very friendly and beyond the showroom, email communication has been great. They can get you virtually anything you need and delivery was never more than 1-2 days. I would definitely recommend them.
Nice people but the way the chain of retail stores are run leads to poor customer service experience! Have been there five times. Liked the people we talked to. Long wait if you try to get an appointment, long wait for someone to be available if you do not have an appointment, staff does not seem to have time to follow-up on things they tell you they will do after you leave . . . . . It is frustrating for customers but I cannot imagine how frustrated the employees must be!! Suspect they likely have a fair amount of turnover. Dont even get me started on the prices. It just does not work all the way around.
Prices were the same as the local dealers in Ann Arbor and Chelsea. Thought they would be cheaper being a big chain. Salesperson could not answer basic questions on the appliances we were looking without going to a computer to look up info. Nice showroom though.
I have 2 bathrooms that need a deep makeover. My contractor recommended Ferguson. With some hesitation we went there. First walk in visit we were told we needed an appointment, sigh. I made an appointment. Holy cow were we taken care of, Karah spent all the time necessary to figure out what we needed. Karah Hubbard is exceptional. Im glad I stayed away from the big box stores. However Ive yet to see the finished install. Stay tuned.
