I almost dont know where to begin. Ive been a lifelong Best Buy customer and Ive never in my life been as disappointed with an organization as I am with this one. Nearly a month ago, my wife and I decided to purchase a new refrigerator; Best Buy was the only choice for me. We spent around 2k on a new samsung model that has been set to be delivered on 11/1 since I made the purchase. I was notified a couple of hours ago via email that my appointment was changed to11/22 with no explanation whatsoever. I called to inquire, as this is unacceptable, and was informed simply that they couldnt make it until 11/22. With no other reasoning. I informed the gentleman on the phone that this isnt acceptable. That weve already been waiting nearly a month and he said theres nothing he could do. Now, maybe there was and maybe there wasnt, Im in no position to say and its not his fault at all, but It is a very horrible business practice and bad decision for Best Buy. I didnt purchase a new refrigerator just because. Ours seemed to be having trouble, as it started leaking water, which was when I placed our order. Our freezer has since quit working entirely, but that was ok since our new unit was supposedly coming on 11/1. To find out 4 days from delivery, after Ive already waited this long and made arrangements for a delivery on the morning of 11/1 that its not happening and you dont know what to tell me and thats it, is unacceptable, and thats an understatement. I will never shop with Best Buy ever again. My wife & I will be canceling all of our credit accounts here as well. Im sorry that my money isnt green enough for you, but it spends just fine elsewhere.

BestBuy deleted my negative reviews so I am posting it here instead to warn the costumers.So here is the story: On Apr. 30th, I bought an ASUS Zephyrus G14 3060 RTX laptop from BestBuy. 40 days later, I found the machine has the problem of rebooting itself randomly, causing me to lose all of my unsaved data. I first went to BestBuy to ask for a refund but they refused to do so because it is beyond the 30-day refund/replacement period. Instead, BestBuy tried to fix the problem but failed.Then, I called ASUS support and sent the machine back for repair for two times. Each time they claimed they fixed problem, but the problem actually remains after I received the product again. One last time, I called them and asked for a refund, and they simply HANG UP THE CALL.I am a graduate student and needs the computer urgently to do my work. ASUS even refuses to borrow me a computer without a reason and keeps wasting my time and money. In order to troubleshoot the problem I have to test the machine myself everyday and it makes me so stressful that I got sick frequently. I really do not understand why BestBuy or ASUS will not refund me or give me replacement, given that the machine has such a big problem. I have already filed the complaint to BBB and also I am seeking help from the legal service of my school.ASUS finally agreed to replace me with a REFURBISHED one, even not the same model. However, they stopped contacting me two weeks ago even after we reached a agreement for a refurbished replacement. I think I am simply losing the 1500+ USD.In one word, never buy ASUS, and never buy from BestBuy.

Always a delight to go here. The reason why no 5 star is because you have to lap the store 6 times to find somebody that is free to help you. If you do not need assistance at all this place is amazing. If you need something that is in a glass case itll be a little wait.
The multiple gentlemen who worked with me in the mobile phone department were incredibly helpful. They gave useful information and detailed advice to help me get the best phone for my needs. I highly recommend working with, and will continue to do business with them.
Always helpful, you should buy your temporary glass screen protectors here. If you buy them with an account they can look up your receipt and then you get unlimited replacements. They also put them on for you.

My LG tv stopped working after only getting delivery two weeks ago. Called the customer service desk, and explained the problem. The lady said they’d be right with me and then transferred me to someone overseas. I asked to speak to someone again at the Ann Arbor location, and was hung up on when I was transferred back over. Best Buy won’t stand behind anything they sell you unless you pay the extra money for the Geek Squad, which seems ridiculous. They wouldn’t even talk to me about the problem. I’ll never buy anything from this company again and will make sure that anyone I know that’s looking for electronics knows how awful this company is.
I think it is one of the worst Designed store that I have been in took 40 minutes to find what I was looking for and it had two different prices on it and to get the lower price you have to have one of there cards when I saw the product on there website did not say anything about the card the person helping us would not sign us up there we had to go to the other end to find the computer to sign up on then go all the way back to get the product. I just said forget it went to best buy and in 20 minutes had what we wanted I will not go back to Ika again.
Worked with a great woman in appliances but she gave us her card then it was impossible to reach the store or her again! We emailed her, tried repeatedly to call the store but received a recorded message saying the store was no longer taking calls What the heck???? Would have bought 3 more appliances but not now.

Went in for a tablet for my daughter....left with a tablet and other stuff. Shouldnt be allowed to go there unsupervised. Staff was friendly and helpful, however, when asked whats the difference between two products, they just read the specs off the labels. I understand not knowing something you have no experience with, but someone should.
The product knowledge of the clerks on the floor was not thorough. I had to return to find the right MiniSD card and Go Pro 8 is not fun to operate. The store is clean and everyone is friendly.

Its times like this that I wonder why I even bother going to Best Buy. We went there to replace my wifes broken phone. Only 1 other customer there. Waited for 30 minutes while three different sales associates asked us what we were looking for and that they would send someone to help us. Finally they said that they would put us on the list for the next available person. It would take, they thought, 30 minutes more. We walked and bought the $1,000+ phone at the ATT store across the parking lot. Lesson learned.

Very rude salesman named Mike. He wouldnt acknowledge me the day after I spent $4,100 buying a Sony OLED A90J 65, THE BEST TV in the world today. Bar none! He offered not even a hello and refused to help me. He and Kristina both ignored me after seeing me waiting for assistance. The floor manager named Mike was defensive, poor listener, very loud and embarrassing in front of other customers, and plain rude. He kept interrupting me and wouldnt let me finish describing the entire story. All I wanted was a screen cleaning spray. I wanted to spend about $5,000 on cameras too on this Black Friday in July. I told him Im done with our unfruitful talk. I returned the TV and will NEVER buy from Best buy despite being an Elite member with a very high credit limit. Best Buy doesnt train its staff and managers on how to be just polite and sensitive. And it keeps the worst managers just so (I believe) it wont have to hire new ones and spend the time and money to train them when its training process is so paralyzed. I voted with my pocket.If you want respect and expect to not be treated like a number only, then dont shop at this Best Buy or any other.

The store is still decent how it always has been but, the entire music(hardware) section is gone. Also the reps are too insistent on giving and showing you what they think is the better choice other than what YOU want.Luckily there was a very knowledgeable guy there to give me the info I REALLY needed, so ill give it points for being a sufficient knowledge hub. However we all know best buy pricing SUCKS!!!! If you go here expect to pay top dollar for EVERYTHING and then get treated like just some random if you happen to have an issue with their overpriced item or items you JUST bought.Enjoy!
Used to be very happy with them. After a long conversation with a family member to convince her to give Best Buy a chance, we went to the one in Ann Arbor. It was about 18:55 and a guy came over telling us they close at 19:00, we have to decide what we want. The family member was deciding between 2 laptops. Which one she wanted to take. Around $650. Then guy told her, Oh we dont have them in stock. We have to go now. After she asked him for his opinion on which one. So I guess Best Buy didnt just lose a sale and a new customer but also a old regular customer.
We have purchased our washer and dryer here. We recently purchased headphones about a week ago. A gentleman named Dan helped me and my husband and he was very informative and knowledgeable! We came back today looking at a refrigerator and Jerome helped us wonderfully. We kept our concerns in mind and explained everything perfectly. We couldnt be more happy- we have shopped many places for appliances and are never helped any better than bestbuy. We appreciate the employees hard work and knowledge!
Super nice and friendly employees! I’ve met the store manager and been assisted by Kevin during 2 trips. I had very patient team members go above and beyond and back to help me with an inexpensive buy back. I even had a super kind employee assist with a return on a item I purchased but needed to keep so I could use my buyback funds to receive a discount in lieu of store credit to be used at a later date. This definitely has left a lasting impression and I’m really grateful for topnotch customer service!
No appliances to evaluate. Store too small to have merchandise available to see & touch. Management aware and have been aware for multiple years. And still...NO action by the BEST BUY organization. Staff aware of deficiency and Management aware! Which speaks the truth that Buyers are low on the totum pole...too bad! Buyers are sent to larger venues...or elsewhere? Long past the time for action to be taken. No wonder stores are disappearing from the market. Interesting that there is space for toys, candy, and miscellany. Speaks volumes about the saying let the buyer beware!
The young lady in phone department was probably the most helpful person Ive run into in years she spent probably two and a half hours trying to get my phone taken care of I cant say anything about anybody any better than her her name was when miln I believe she was great in fact everyone was really friendly and helpful Id recommend Best buy to anybody

My husband ordered and paid on line. I picked up. Nice big store, hand sanitizer at the door, a mask requirement, and plenty of room to social distance. One person in line ahead of me, super nice staff. Easy pick up, great prices, convenient store location, ample parking. My husband was surprised with a birthday discount. Good, reliable store for electronics and computer supplies.

3 out of 5 times going here it has horrible customer service. I see 10 or so people who work here walking around but no one helped me and my children for over 20 minutes while standing at a locked up case. Even after asking for help they called someone else who took forever to come and eventually the guy from by the door just came to help us. Im pretty sure he was supposed to just be greeting but had to step in to help. The stars are for the guys at the doors
Lots of good help! Customer service was excellent. The building appeared clean and employees wore masks and followed distancing guidelines. The store has high ceilings and was not crowded.
Anyone considering using Geek Squad: YOU WILL WASTE MONEY AND TIME HERE!! Incompetent and unhelpful as you can get. Got installed a backup camera for my car and it was not working. I came back and was told that I should restart the entire radio system every single time I drive a car if I want a backup camera. What kind of bs “solution” is that? After years of inspection, it turns out that the backup camera is not even compatible with my car radio system in the first place. But because it’s been too much of a long time.. even with receipt and record, nope, no refund or return even to a store credit whatsoever. Don’t even bother calling the store because there’s no live person available to talk to you, and they’ll never answer your emails. So nice for customers like me who moved out of state and is unable to go talk to one of them in person.
I had a horrible experience purchasing our kitchen package. Our first two items were installed no problem but the installer did not want to change out the old pump for the dishwasher, so we had to call and pay someone else who did it in a matter of minutes. Then we had to reschedule the appointment, which I had a Best Buy employee add us to the schedule for Friday. Unfortunately no one came that day nor called us to let us know they weren’t coming. So literally we were out of a dishwasher for 10 days. I called the customer service line for scheduling and I talked to some outsourced yahoo that can barely speak English. We wasted 30 minutes going no where and no solutions. I was not able to access their scheduling on my Best Buy account and had no way to book an appointment. Then I spent like 3 or 4 hours trying to get some one to help reschedule and the person who answered was like oh you have the wrong area which I actually didn’t because I specifically chose scheduling and delivering for appliances. Then we had our appointment change for the refrigerator we supposed to get it in the middle of April but no one contacted me so I get a notification that we have delivered and installed the middle of May. They need to get their act together and figure out their scheduling system. I paid a lot of money for them to be so rude and unwilling to help. Next time I’m choosing some other place than Worst Buy!!!

They have good COVID-19 health and safety procedures on display for staff and customers.They are sticking to the executive order for mask up Michigan, and that makes me feel safe, so, good.Pickings and selection are a bit sparse, but we are in the middle of a global pandemic, so you cant hold that against anyone.I picked up some Philips Hue lights and sensor for home automation here, and am excited to automate my home!There are new shorter hours, so Id recommend to check with the store before driving in.
Great place to buy video games and computers. I try to do most of my electronics shopping at local stores and unfortunately Best Buy is one of the few places left to shop here for these sorts of things.
This is a retailer that understands its customers. With Online Shopping being at an all-time high, the one thing that stands out for me while visiting BestBuy is the customer service experience. Being able to ask questions about a product with real-time responses goes a long way in helping me as a consumer make the right purchase the FIRST time. Really appreciate service.

Thus is my main best buy store. Sometimes it can be hard to find help wither because theyre busy and what employees are already helping customers or just for a lack of them. Our last trip we were helped by Jerome in the appliance area and he then helped us with tvs. He was very nice and knowledgeable and made it an easy experience

I have nothing to complain about.Notice: Youre given a code to give the Best Buy associate at pick-up however this location does not want the code. They ask for a government ID instead.
Always like Best Buy cause I can play with everything inside know if I like it or not makes a big difference when youre shopping to be able touch and play with the items play with the items thats why Amazon is questionable for everything.

Was interested in a surround system for my home. Looked at displays for over 30 minutes with my wife with the intention to buy a system. We were passed by many employees who failed to acknowledge that we were there. The only interaction with an employee was when I had a system turned up to test the sound quality an employee walked up and said excuse me Im going to turn this down a bit. He then turned down the volume and walked away. We left without buying anything and disappointed with the lack of service.
I did a pickup of a mini refrigerator. The man that brought it out was extremely polite and helpful. He even gave me some helpful hints on setting it up. The only issue I had is items were delivered out of order. Several cars that pulled up after me could leave before me. Great price too!

We picked up a curbside order, service was fast and friendly. We were super satisfied as the item was sold out at most retailers. We then went inside the store to make an additional purchase. Sales associate was very helpful and knowledgeable, no pressure, and very professional. Purchased 2 major items due to the good experience. DEFINATELY recomend this location.

Computer department is fantastic. They were very knowledgeable, and were able to find everything I needed from a computer.
I told them exactly what I wanted and got it within 5 mins. Happy about that. Ive been to other best buys in other states and other shops that will try so hard to push you to spend more even after telling price range. Told them my price range they were helpful, made suggestions that werent pushy but informative. The only thing Id add is that some of the younger employees dont seem to know that customers can hear them when they make remarks to one another about customers. Or that we can see ur facial expressions. And notice whispers. Lowering ur voice one decimal while youre in front of customers doesnt mean customers cant hear and only the other employee can, lmao.. anyways most ppl were professional. So 4/5. Because Im feeling nice today

Best buy is the best place to buy electronics. Not only do they have price match but their employees are also very helpful. As someone who knows a lot about technology it is easy for me to tell if someone is trying to help me out or just sell me a product. At Best Buy people are actually looking to help you out and give pretty good recommendations. It is an all around great electronics store.
The store filled my online order well within the 1-hour window they advertised on their site and provided me with super easy-to-navigate car-side pickup. But, in my view, the best part of my experience was the employee who brought out my purchase, who was incredibly kind and dressed as Wednesday Adams for Halloween. That person deserves a raise to honor both their customer service skills and impeccable taste in Halloween costumes.

I had an appointment to pick up a remote starter and get it installed at 10 AM. Apparently the store hours changed 3 days ago so they now open at 11 AM and no one bothered to inform me of this. I arrived at 10 AM with the instructions to pick up my parts and they would instruct me where so go. After calling the number I was given several times with no luck reaching a real person, I drove home and called when the store was open. The only explanation I was given was they didnt know the store hours were changing until Sunday night (which still gave them 2 days to notify me) and that I should have driven to the back of the store, but they didnt even know if Autotech was still open at 10 AM. Really great to spend a couple hundred dollars and get treated like you dont even matter with the only offer being to reschedule.

Bought a TV on the day before Thanksgiving, and the process was easy. I knew that the day would be hectic and the store was packed, but I had great customer assistance from the staff. So helpful. Loaded my car for me. Took the time to find all the elements from my order. Very satisfied.

They should tell you that it could take 4+ hours before you can pick item up verses going with the standard your order should be ready in one hour.Cancelling online order and repurchasing in store worked great. I talked to 3 different associates who all told me this would be the best way to get my items in a timely manner. Dont waste your time with online ordering, just go to the store.Associate I dealt with on my purchase was great.
