I had my first bad experience. I ordered some kind fish that was black and hard as a rock. Usually I have a doggie bag, but I left it. All the other food like I said was great. I will still come back and, just not fish.

I gave two stars instead of one because I like the variety of products they sell within their store but I only gave two stars because they always seem to charge a different price at the register then they advertise. You have to watch closely the price you are charged at the register and have it corrected often which holds the line up and since they never have more than three registers open at any time it can be a long process to check out. I’m reluctant to shop there as I don’t like to correct the cashier on the correct prices for everything I buy and I don’t like to wait in line when they have 14 registers and often no more than three open

Honestly it’s like a ghost town little to nobody working . If you need help finding something your pretty much . On your own luckily there’s a few people that are willing to . Help me hence the 3 stars . But everyone else don’t even know your there . To be honest I probably won’t shop there very much if they keep . Having less and less people working . I’m sorry but get more people .

Love aimlessly walking around here while shopping. Particularly love the ice fishing selection during the most wonderful time of year!

For me the prices are too high but if you want big time selection over price then this place is it for you. Their gas at their little gas station out front is outrageously low priced awesome deal

Great huge store with tons of merchandise. A person can also get a good walk in just from circling around the store.

Way to expensive. They must be struggling to find help. Always out of stock, probably due to COVID-19. Dont leave a message, they wont call you back.

I ordered online and picked up at the store. Now this is the only place that basically does a sweet curbside pickup without requesting it. I usually have no problem going inside to pick up my order. Not here you go to the outside yard pick up and basically do a drive thru that someone just loads your stuff for you. Oh and their sale that they have going on is literally better than anywhere else in town for the stuff I was looking for. So thats definitely a plus.

I go to Fleet Farm alot. Love their camping items my husband loves to go to the guns and fishing stuff. Whatever were going for we always bring home more great gift giving place too.

4 of us dined on a Tuesday at 6 pm. No wait. 3 had salmon with different sides. One had garlic pasta with mushrooms added. All meals and salads were delicious and fresh. My side was a large serving of asparagus and hollandaise. We brought our own wine and took advantage of the 15$ corkage fee. Friendly service and pleasant ambience inside for conversation. They also offer outdoor seating.

First time at a fleet farm, awesome store staff was friendly.

Early in morning easy to find what I was looking for talked with 4 employees all were friendly.

In & out of like a breeze. 1st x shopper w/o any issues. Customer friendly store w/fully stocked & labeled shelves & displays. Abundance of cashiers so no negativity on this reviews.

It was never our go to store. But if we cant find something at our regular smaller stores Mills Fleet Farm almost always has it in stock and ready to go. Plus there prices are just as good.

Decent place to get gas. Clean restroom. Wife and I were caravanning with two vehicles. She came out pleased that they gave her a free bag of popcorn with a fill up. When I finished fueling and went in, they had apparently stopped the practice. I had paid at the pump and didnt want to wait for four people in line at the register to get popcorn.

Pretty decent selection in most all areas. We grabbed some fishing poles and work boots this visit. This is a great place to buy a large variety of outdoor activity accessories. Plus, their candy selection is pretty bangin.

I like this store, because it is the cheapest place to get automotive supplies if you are one of the few people still capable of doing your own vehicle maintenance. Also the pet supplies are very reasonably priced with a lot of selection. Its sometimes difficult to get anyone to help you find stuff though. Also, they dont accept used oil or filters for recycling.

Best decision to stop at, store was massive and clean. The staff was super nice and we found some great things for our puppies!

Customer service directed me to the back of the store when they stopped carrying the product. When I asked an employee in the employee only area, he gave me another isle to go to. Both employees were not aware they stopped carrying ceiling fans and chains to go with them. I wasted 45 minutes wandering and looking for a non- existant item. There must be communication problems there. Typically, I get help from the Fleet Farm workers, and this was my worst experience.

Pretty pricey some deals are pretty good nice selection of firearms and they are decently priced

The Madrid Subway gives one fast friendly service. Always seems to be well kept too

I did not find what I see went in for. The shelves were looking very thin in areas. I really hope that this does not continue. My want was not a necessity but a want.

They have an oddly amazing selection of grocery items and nuts and candy.

Staff was helpful, once we found someone. Had what we were looking for, and a lot cheaper than another store we checked. Outside pickup made loading the car a breeze. Fuel station was very confusing, not very intuitive on how to get the discount for shopping, but overall happy with our experience.

Customer service is a 5 all day everyday. So helpful and very nice people. They didnt have what I needed but then again it was an unusual item.

The variety of products available is great, they always have what you need. Would have given 5 stars, but last time we were there the cashier messed up our purchase and cost us a 10 dollar giftcard.

Ordered a bunch of mulch online to pick up in the outdoor yard. Every single staff person we encountered was AWESOME!! Friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working. Definitely plan to shop there more often than I have in the past.

I love shopping the store. It would be a 5 star except they have a big problem. I did an online order for store pick-up on some items i needed the next day. I received an email saying sorry we only have 1 of the 8 different items you ordered, even though they said they were available at the store. That is Stupid! Now i have to call the store to cancel the other 7 so they charge my card when the come in, and I bet it wouldnt be all at once.

Ultimate car wash? You be the judge.This photo was taken less than 24 hours after using the Ultimate car wash at the Fleet and Farm Ankeny location over the weekend. For those who may not know, there was nothing but sunshine for a few days during which this activity took place - IE I did not wash it and then find every rain soaked street I could before taking the photo. It is a photo showing the questionable quality of the service I paid for. I was in doubt about the quality of this wash as I could see tremendous amounts of water leaking from where the wash arm met the frame assembly for lack of a better description.If this was a one time incident, I would be forgiving. However, based upon multiple visits, these car washes are maintained very poorly.

Good supercenter. My only complaint is that finding assistance can be difficult. I really like their product selection. Their prices are competitive.

Went to fleet farm to buy dog food. They were out. My wife wanted to look around so I went to look at guns. Found what I wanted but no one was around. An associate walked by and asked if I needed help and he showed me the bell to ring the bell. The gun associate finally showed up and asked rudely WHO RANG THE BELL. I said I did, he said Im trying to find a box ill be with you as soon as I can when he really wasnt doing anything. I walked away and went to see how my wife was doing. I realized I wanted to look at gun safes and went back to that department. He was still not around. I looked as safes bit they didnt have what I wanted. So as I was walking back toward the gun counter a lady walked by and she asked a question and he answered. Meanwhile the customer he was with on my first encounter was on there computer putting in his info for the background check and registration for the weapon he was buying. To my knowledge the dealer runs your background before purchase but I could be wrong. Though most of the guns I bought were from this location they always ran mine first and so did every other place I have bought guns. I am VERY DISSAPOINTED in this location as I was gonna buy that particular gun. But will not be treated the way I was treated. As we were checking out I asked for the manager on duty to discuss the situation with him. Josh had NOTHING BUT EXCUSES for his employee. And his store. LISTEN HER FLEET FARM DOESNT CUSTOMER SATIFSCTION MEAN ANYTHING? What about the customer is always right. Well guess what AS OF TODAY 08/22/2021 I HAVE STOPPED BUYING GUNS FROM DLEET FARM. And I will do everything in my power to make sure something is done and to make sure mo other customers buy from there.Thanks for nothing and walking away from your customer complaints MANAGER JOSH....IT WILL BE NOTED HOW YOU ARE WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Needed jumper cables the other day. Fleet Farm & Sams Club being side by side. Didnt even bother going into Sams Club to look. Just somehow knew that Fleet Farm, would be our store & they did not let me down. Walked into the auto section end of store. And there they were. Right by the check out. Was in a hurry so it was very convenient! Thanks Fleet Farm!!!

I really like the Ankeny store over the Waukee location.

They have a little bit of everything, reasonable prices and helpful employees. The only complaint I have is they need to do a better job at signing their isles. It can be a challenge to find what you are looking for.

I gave my car a much needed bath. Very handy since I like going to Sams Club.

This was a really large door, but it was well-maintained and clean. The staff was both professional and courteous.

Website shows stock that they do not have when you get to store. Ordered online and it told me order was ready for pickup. After traveling 40 miles one way my order was unavailable. Terrible website and communication. Called customer service and they were nice but never offered to help me get my items or offer to ship to me.

It really should be a 3.5 to 3.8 rating. I like the store from a location, parking, hour, and selection standpoint. Inventory on things usually ok, but lately noticing not as good as it once was and usually can never find staff person to help you and if they do they are def tired and over worked as they arent as friendly as I once remember them. I really enjoy the hunting & sporting goods staff. I will still do business here but keep my expectations sl lower.

The wait for an online order pickup was a bit longer than it should have been, but it was still very convenient.

Growing up in Minnesota, we referred to Fleet Farm as The Mans Mall. It one of the few stores that I actually enjoy just walking around and browsing. Come the holiday season this place really comes alive.

Neat, decent place. Like a cross between Menards and some kind of feed store. Nice enough staff, decent prices, although there were some that were comparable or higher than Im other stores. Not many kinds of discounts offered.

I shop here all the time for my quail. But I also love it for the kids shoes, clothes and the summer section for my kids.

They have most ANYTHING! Except ammo, but I went here to buy a power paint roller. They had a Wagner Sidekick on the shelf and it works Awesome!

Fleet Farm has a great automotive department. They have done alignments, oil changes and battery replacements on multiple vehicles for us and we have been very happy with the work on all occasions. They also have a great selection of pet food, fire arms, grocery and farm equipment.

Did not have the things their website said they had. We drove from Des Moines to Ankeny for nothing.

Huge selection of goods, from clothing to hardware to tools and farming supplies. Prices are fair with an occasional good sale. Store is well-lit and clean. Parking lot is large. Location is good but access is from a very busy road and you need to be alert and careful when entering/exiting. No 5th star because its always under-staffed, and very difficult to find anyone to assist you out on the floor.

Very large store, has almost anything you could think of. From amazing clothing selection to food and home decoration stuff. Plus of course lost of farming and ag based products.

The Ankeny location has always been a good store in my opinion.Always clean, stocked, and a fair selection of products.Made a few returns, and exchanges here and never had any hassles or issues.
