Lovely coffee, my favorite is the Mint Cooler.Slowish drive through. About 15 minutes for the drive through.Would recommend stopping by. My Wife LOVES Caribu Coffee! She likes that she can get a Mint Coffee year-round. Only thing is that where we live there arent many Caribu locations.

Terrible service!! Waited in line for 15 minutes to get a watered down drink. Ordered 3 large drinks and they couldnt even provide a drink holder. Also they still treat you like you have diseases, using a stupid tray to hand your drinks over. Ill be waiting even longer in Starbucks from now on but atleast I will get quality service and a good drink.

The coffee is Supreme. Very smooth. Service is friendly and they remember your order after going a few times. They do have a rewards program. Daily they have an online or at the location a trivia question,which if you get it right you get .10 off your bill.

I was hooked on this coffee because it is the only place with dairy-free and sugar-free drinks. Usually, my order is exactly what I expect. Unfortunately this time, I got 5 drinks for my friends and they messed up 3 of them. Whipped cream was missing when it was asked for, almond milk was added when I didnt ask for it, and my drink was completely wrong. I tried to get the problems fixed, but the worker was convinced she was right. I called the store to try to get someone else to fix the drinks, but the same worker picked up and continued to convince me she was right. I hate to complain about restaurant workers because it is a hard job, but this situation caused me to become distraught. This is a good coffee place with good coffee, but please listen to the customer with concerns instead of trying to convince me that Im wrong about my order.

Enjoyable experience. Was pleased to find a dark roast available, Mahogany. It had a nice smokey flavor and depth of flavor.The brew ran out just prior to filling my order, but the staff quickly started a second brew and apologized for the delay.Professional staff, and good service.

Im visiting from out of state, and having never been to a Caribou Coffee was excited to try it. Coffee was good, but cant say the same for the cold dry blueberry muffin I got with it. The gal who rang me up wasnt rude, but definitely wasnt nice either. She made me feel like I had interrupted her afternoon. Hopefully it was just an off day. Weve all had them, but if not, be warned.

I went to this caribou and the girl over the intercom at the drive through first off all did not listen to what I was ordering at all and just assumed what I was ordering and agreed even though I had not ordered yet and only asked a question which she never answered, after I ordered my food she assumed I was done and didn’t even wait for others in the car to order, never gave me a total, and then when we got our food and drinks we got the wrong drinks and completely wrong food and didn’t notice until we got home so now we are stuck with it and don’t even like what we got. I love caribou and it totally a could of been an off morning, but slow down and think before you do something. I’m not one to complain but when I’m spending my money and get the complete wrong thing and don’t like it and am unable to get back to get the right thing, it’s a problem.

My gf says this is the best coffee period. We go well out of our way so she can get her caribou coffee. They have a really fast drive through window. Service is always friendly. There is a daily trivia question posted that if you know the answer you get 10 percent off your order. No googling the answer. When I dont drink coffee I always go to caribou.

Usually enjoy coming here but today I watched a female caribou employee tell a customer that it wasnt her problem that her coffee was not on her screen and argued with that lady until another employee stepped in to stop her and help the customer.At night the same argumentative employee brings her kid into the store and he runs around yelling at the top of his lungs and is behind the counter and in their backroom, Im concerned that not only is this a health problem but also a safety problem. He cant be more than 6 years old.

Caribou coffee is the best coffee in Iowa. Fantastic service, great atmosphere inside the shop. I wish there were more stores located in some of the smaller towns around Iowa though.

Regularly met here for Bible study. Nice place, decent atmosphere. I became a regular and the barista would have my drink of choice ready before I even got there for my meetings. Very personable folks.

I am not happy about having to post this negative review but I am extremely disappointed in this Caribou location. Two Tuesdays in a row now I have drove through the drive through between 5:40 and 5:45 am to get coffee and breakfast before work and for some reason they were not open yet. The store is supposed to open at 5:30 am. The first time apparently someone did not show up to open which I understand but I dont know what the problem was this morning. I choose to leave my house earlier than usual to come to this specific coffee shop and when I show up and they arent open I then have no time to go anywhere else before work. I also went in this afternoon to get two drinks and the staff was not very friendly and seemed extremely uninterested in providing good customer service. My drinks were also not prepared how I asked. I stood there to get someones attention and when no one acknowledged me, I left. I work at a coffee shop and I know things come up, but providing good customer service is a choice and should never be sacrificed. I love the Caribou products and hope that I have better experiences in the future.

Just stood at the counter for 4 minutes with four employees working vigilantly at the drive-thru while they ignored us, not even a greeting. Obviously they dont need customers. We wont be back.

I don’t like sharing negative reviews, but after getting my coffee wrong more than 5 times it can’t be avoided. I only spend the $6 for a great coffee on occasion, and expect a mildly consistent standard of quality. Literally 50% of my orders are either not mixed very well, have key ingredients missing, or leave out extra ingredients that I pay extra for. I mention to the employee that my last coffee was way off, but they never extend the common courtesy of a free or discounted coffee. The employees are very nice, though.

Usually the coffee is great but the shop in Ankeny cant seem to figure out how to make even a decent pumpkin pie latte. The other shops have no issues with making a great cup of this latte.

This is the BEST caribou coffee house in the Des Moines area! The place is clean, including the bathrooms. The employees are the best baristas. They make my coffee correctly and hot every time, unlike Starbucks warm coffee.

Use to be very good, but has recently declined. I always get an iced vanilla latte and they have forgotten the vanilla (which you pay extra for) multiple times. I went through the the drive thru, asked for a vanilla latte, they forgot the vanilla went through the drive thru again, asked nicely for them to add vanilla, and they were pretty snotty about it. I PAY EXTRA FOR THE VANILLA GIVE ME THE VANILLA!I assume its new management, because it use to be my favorite Caribou in the area and now its very hit or miss.

I left the house wanting hot tea. So because its convenient, I decided to stop through the Caribou drive-thru. I ordered a large green tea. It was so disgusting I couldnt even drink it. I opened the lid theres two humongous tea bags in my cup. It was so gross. So strong I could not drink it and the flavor was terribleSo I called and talked to a manager, explained were on our way to Iowa City and that I would stop on my way back and I would like a replacement cup of a different type of tea. She said no problem shell write it down and to come back in this afternoon. So I come back in this afternoon and the girl comes to the window and says, Well my manager doesnt doesnt remember speaking to you but I can go ahead and give you a free cup of tea. Insinuating I was making the whole thing up. I even looked at my phone to double check the time that I called and spoke to the manager. This time I decided to try just a plain chai hot tea. Instead I got a chai latte, I never ordered a chai latte. So twice I got something I didnt like or want and the customer service was once again horrible at Caribou Coffee in Ankeny.

Love Caribou Coffee! Their Caramel Hi-Rise is so delicious, I get one just about everyday. Service is usually pretty quick & staff is friendly.

I love Caribou Coffee as a brand... The drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. The service at this location, however, seems to have gone downhill over the last six months or so. Ive had multiple occasions in the last month where my (very straightforward) order has taken 10+ minutes when I was only the second or third person in line - mostly because the staff were too busy chatting and not paying attention.

Great people and service.

Ive frequented this Caribou Coffee on multiple occasions and this morning was the final straw that broke the camels back. I understand that coffee places are busy and the workers there work there butts off but between long wait times and having to pay before the coffee has been poured and then running out of the specific type of coffee that was purchased, Ive had it. I normally bring in a thermos to have filled because I do enjoy Caribou brand coffee. However, this morning was it. I walked in the door and was able to walk right up the counter and I asked them to fill my thermos. The woman then took my card and ran it, which I was not feeling good about because of the last few times of them running out of the specific type of coffee. I guess its my fault for not asking them how much coffee they had left, or maybe they should have known, I dont know. Anyway, I pay for the coffee, she turns around and gets about 1/4 of the thermos filled and says theyre out and if I would like to wait for more to be brewed. I inform them that I dont have time. She then turns around and starts pouring another type of coffee into the thermos. It took me a second to realized what she was doing and I asked her to stop. I was a little taken back by the this and asked to just have my thermos because I was frankly annoyed and I was running out of time to get to work. Another woman stepped in and asked me if I would like a refund, which I would have gladly accepted, however, I was out of time and had to go. I know this seems so trivial and is #1stworldproblems. I dont want anyone to get in trouble but I would like to recommend a couple suggestions:1. Would it be possible to have a line for people that just want a plain black coffee? That way you dont need to wait behind someone that has ordered a drink that has 15 steps to make it?2. Check and see how much coffee is left before someone pays for a coffee.

This shop has very good espresso drinks. However, I stopped in to do some work and the Internet connection very slow/unusable.

Fairly empty in the store, but lots of people at the drive through. They got my wifes order wrong (made it iced instead of hot) if its that difficult maybe hire an additional person. It was good though.

Let me start by saying I typically love Caribou Coffee. This Caribou Coffee however was awful, I stopped on the way home to Minnesota and just asked for a very simple drink, a small iced Americano, with a half shot of caramel. I unfortunately got it in the Drive-Thru so I couldnt go back in to get a new one but it had so much ice in it that I could not even get a straw into the cup which forced me to take the lid off and pull ice out while I drove making a gigantic mess in my car. But thats not even the worst part, the espresso tasted completely burnt and the caramel tasted like Starbucks caramel syrup / chemicals, not the normal Caribou Coffee actual caramel. I could only take three sips and threw the rest away, my God it was awful

Very disappointed with this location. I was just passing through and needed a late evening caffeine boost. I pulled up to the window to order and the lady (with pink hair and nose ring)) looked at me and rudely asked what she could help me with. I said, I would like to order a... and she cut me off and told me I had to go around and order through the voice box. There was not a car behind me or in front of me. Yes, I did not order properly due to not being familiar with the drive thru lane. However, she could have helped me. Either way, I started to drive around and she literally rolled her eyes. No joke, I left immediately and went to Starbucks down the road. I suggest you do the same!

I received a gift card for Caribou Coffee for the holidays. I visited the location in Mills Civic yesterday and today the location in Ankeny. Both locations got my order wrong, and both times I let the workers know with not much effort to change. First one was the worst Sunrise Ive ever had, and the second I was told the difference was caramel. Im not usually one to complain, but it appears that the chain may be going down hill?

Where do I start? Let’s see, I order an eggnog latte with half milk and half eggnog as straight eggnog is to much for me. I am told they can’t do it because they don’t have a button. I asked why they can’t use the eggnog button and they said they can’t due to it messing up their inventory control for milk. This makes no sense as they put milk out for people to put in their coffee. Next I order a different drink with no foam and no whip, I get a cup full of foam and whip. Lastly the price, $5.60for a medium holiday drink is a bit on the steep side seeing their most expensive large drink is less than that.

The faces were friendly. Staff offered up suggestions. Nice place to sit and have coffee.

Coffee is great but there have been multiple instances where I have had to wait 10-15 min for a latte. If there were a lot of people in front of me I would be more understanding, but it is difficult to understand the wait with only 2-3 people waiting for single coffees.
