Cannot sing enough high praises for Rich and all the staff members here. Extremely helpful, welcoming, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are taken care of. I got a flat tire that totaled my wheel too, when I called Heartland the same day they were happy to assess what would need to be done right away. Rich recommended a place to buy the wheel in order to expedite the time a repair for my damage would take, along with save me money. He was upfront and honest about everything, and never once made me feel like I was out of place. I was back on the road in great condition in less than a day. Great communication about all that needed to be done, the options, and the progress on the work. Complete life saver. Thank you Heartland for making me feel welcomed and informed. Ryan and Rich are the best! I was driving from California to New Jersey and got a flat tire. On top of that my rim was bent and needed to be replaced. They called multiple locations and found the last available rim for my vehicle. I was in and out in less than 3 hours of showing up. 10/10 customer service.

Great service, delivered sooner than originally stated. I contacted them and had my vehicle towed there in the evening. Was told it might be a day before they could look at it, but received a call the next morning. Couldnt call back until 3 pm, got the quote for repairs and approved it, even asked for an oil change and dipstick replacement they mentioned. 2 hours and 20 minutes later, the work was done. 👌 I will be back for any needed work.

Heartland has been amazing. My daughter broke down, had to be towed and we are new in town and didnt know where to go. Heartland was close which was fantastic and we are thrilled they were. With realistic time lines, no pressure repair service, done sooner and under the price we were quoted, my daughter and I will definitely be going back. In fact I plan on having them change my tires tomorrow.

I like the staff here and close to my home. Guys are funny, intelligent and no bull. Waiting room is always good with free beverages to waiting customers. Super fast on oil changes and tire rotations and usually have the best deals on mid-level/grade tires in all of Ankeny. Also open on Saturdays. I will keep going here till they lose my trust. Highly recommend.

Wy wife called made an appointment to get in to have a tire patched all most a week later we are here first they sell me tires i told i wanted it patched so he was gone for sometime came back said it was done wife paid bill witch was a round $20 we left i look at the bill and it said they didnt do anything to the tire it looks like they took my wife

I cant thank the guys there enough for helping me! I was traveling, on my way to Mayo Clinic for an appointment during the torrents of rain from the tropical depression. A piece of construction netting blew across the highway and got tangled under my car making a terrific racket. My phone said they were closest and Im so grateful. As I tried to explain through my mask, fearful I would miss my appointment, I began to fight tears (felt ridiculous) but the gentleman assured me theyd help and asked for my keys. In minutes, he came back out, told me they were able to cut away the bound up netting and handed me my keys and wouldnt accept payment. Im truly grateful for your kindness when I needed it! These guys are the real deal. God bless them and their business. Thank you!

They have been honest from the get go and charge fair prices for their service. Plus, customer service and care is wonderful. They also treat me, as a woman, with respect and do not talk down to me. If I do not understand something, they will take the time to explain it. I have only had wonderful service so far!

Great tire shop.Prices are fair and the service is fast and accurate.Im not sure how to review a tire shop. Tires tasted amazing? The wait staff was prompt and attentive though the hostess was a little... overqualified to be showing us to our hydraulic vehicle lift?

*Update* The manager of this location has since called me and refunded my money to make amends, I have changed my rating to three starts as a reflection of this. My initial experience was completely ridiculous but Im happy to report that the manager was willing to listen and make things right.** First off, I been a professional mechanic for six years and work in a prestigious shop in the Des Moines area. Last week I took my truck to Heartland to be aligned, the staff was friendly and quoted me $80. I received a call informing me that I NEEDED a $400(installed) kit to complete the job. I declined. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was told that they had not even attempted to adjust my camber (what the kit was for). I offered to pay for half of the alignment as that was all that was done and we eventually had to bring in an Ankeny police officer to settle the dispute. I was forced to pay the quote. After looking into the camber kit I found that it makes the job easier but is IN NO WAY REQUIRED! My truck has since been properly aligned by the shop that I normally use (they were booked initially) for $90 without the camber kit. I asked for a quote on the kit and they quoted me $150, $60 for the kit and $90 for one hour of labor. If it was possible to give zero stars I would.

Great price, customer service and tires were installed the next day! Tried getting tires at Dewey and they wanted to charge me $370 more for the same tires. Very happy with my new tires and the service at Heartland!

The staff was helpful and honest; they didnt try to pressure me into anything I didnt need, and took the time to explain my problem in detail. Does not get any better in Ankeny then Heartland Tire, Ryan has always gone over and beyond to fit me in for tire rotation, repair work, or last minute flats, they have even stayed open longer to finish me up if I come in late. Currently have 3 cars that I have serviced here. Tire quality to price is the best in town.

Great/honest service for all your vehicle needs

Please save yourself the frustration and headache and go ANYWHERE else. The product was fine, a tire is a tire. But the hassle I got during the initial install was beyond acceptable. I let them talk me into their brand of tire because they had an instant rebate, but they didnt have the tires in stock that day. No problem, they called around and found some that they could install two days later. But when I got my bill, no rebate. I asked about it, and they told me that the rebate offer had expired the day before, and since I didnt get them installed in time I wouldnt be getting the rebate.When I asked why they didnt tell me that, they claimed that they asked me to pay for them during the initial visit and I refused. This conversation never happened, if it had I would have gladly paid for them- Seems like fairly standard practice when ordering something that isnt in stock, would not have been a problem.I did eventually get the rebate, but the regional manager (that happened to be in that day reviewing inventory) just couldnt resist making a smug comment about how they were going to give it to me even though they were right and I was wrong. In effect calling me a liar right to my face. I vowed to never go back!Then one of the tires had a blowout, and they wouldnt take care of it because, and I quote it was driven on after it was flat, so it wont be covered under warranty.I drove it long enough to pull over on the freeway after it went flat, like 70 feet. Guess I should have slammed on the brakes right in the middle of 35N so that my warranty would still apply.This business is out to rip people off, stay away!** Follow up**Edited this content somewhat, in the original post I did not go into as much detail on the first situation, and also did not make it clear that I did in fact receive the rebate in the end.Additionally, although I will never set foot in this place again; fair is fair- someone from this business did attempt to reach out to me to follow up on my concerns, which does earn them some kudos.

These guys mark up their parts prices, and do shabby work. I took one of my vehicles here. they charged me 3 times what the part costs at NAPA. plus labor, and didnt even fix the problem. Then offered no resolution. Dont do it.

These guys saved me a giant headache and ultimately our road trip. Driving down 35 a huge piece of shredded tire got kicked up under our car and ripped up the underbody shield, causing it to drag the ground. I didnt have the tools to remove it, so we took it here (happened to be the closest car shop). They quickly put the car up on the next available empty rack, removed the shield, and gave me all the pieces back, and at no charge!

They have always treated me fairly and got me back on the road for a reasonable price.

Went in for tires and an alignment, Ryan said it didn’t need one, so they saved me some money. Most places will just do it anyway even if it doesn’t need it just to charge you. Will be back.

Had an emergency engine issue. They checked the code and scheduled an appointment to work on the issue.

I have nothing but positive things to say about these guys. I started coming here several months ago when my muffler shield came loose and they just fit me right and and got it back in place. With this positive experience I have since brought two other cars in for work and regular maintenance. They always keep me in the loop and go above and beyond.
