Fantastic locally owned coffee shop. Great for working in the cafe. Lots of tables and comfortable spots. There are a few unique tables that add a little variety. People were very well trained and friendly. The outside is a C- but the inside was a solid A. The coffee was terrific.

The staff here are truly amazing. Been going here for a long time and only ever had great service.

Staff is friendly, nice environment, good coffee. I’m a coffee purist, so I enjoy their roasts, however, their lattes and sweeter drinks are a little lacking. Good, but the complexity of the espresso isn’t really there. Sometimes the drinks can be overly sweet, but the muffins are fantastic!

Great coffee, great friends, great employees. Always clean and fresh feeling. The manager is awesome. The staff makes you feel welcome and at home. And the pup cups for the dogs is a special treat. Keep up the great work. ❤️❤️❤️

I’m never disappointed when going to Five Lakes coffee. The staff is always extremely kind and patient, the coffees are always excellent, made correctly, and in a timely manner. This is now my go to coffee shop.They are absolutely excellent, next time your in Angola I highly recommend Five Lakes as your go to coffee shop!

I ordered a large mocha extra hot. It was indeed hot, but it was more like hot chocolate than a mocha. It was good, but definitely too chocolaty. Nice atmosphere inside. Next day i ordered the same drink through the drive thru, and got the same thing as day one

If they are not going to care about the health of their employees and guests by not having them were masks before the end of the Pandemic, it calls into question their judgment and intelligence of management. Will never be back, too many other options locally

Nice coffee shop just outside of downtown Angola, very handy from the state parks. Plenty of parking and space inside. Looks like college students and locals alike hang out there. They have a little corner for kids, bigger tables and cozy chairs in a corner for private coffee enjoyment. Had the lake mocha which was pretty good if a little sweet.The day we visited there was a polar vortex sub zero event happening so the door was coated with ice.

Service was great but their Americana tasted like a couple Maxwell House a premium price

I previously gave only three stars by accident. Five Lakes Coffee is very much deserving of at least four stars. The coffee is great and the service has always been pleasant, as well. I do wish they offered the chocolate frosted brownie as a permanent dessert on the menu though. My daughter and I had our heart set on one the last time we stopped; only to learn its not always available and this was one of those times. Otherwise, this would have been a five star trip for us!

First time going there was a complete disaster. This was back in February. I watched two employees ridicule a newer employee during their buy one get one free day. The matcha tea latte I ordered tasted awful. I thought I’d give it another try two months later, and they still could not get my order right. I’ll be waiting for biggby to open up. I’d give this place zero stars if I could.

I have been visiting this store since they opened and have never been disappointed. Over the years I have watched them grow while offering consistently top notch service and products. The employees always seem genuinely happy to help. Recent changes in our store in Angola leave me on the rim of my cup with the anticipation. I cannot wait to see how this busines handles the growth they deserve.

Dont get to Angola very often but I make it a point to stop in for some coffee and chocolate. They also have African Autumn tea which is a bonus. Fair prices, good options, lots of places to sit & the staff is friendly.

Always polite, never get an order wrong, always fast. Great to sit inside and chat or use devices with free wifi or your mobile data. Very clean and smells amazing

I go to 5 Lakes often. I keep returning because of the location and I always seem to be passing by. I rarely go inside and at the drive thru they are flexible: I usually fill my porcelain cup and keep the serve cup for the $1 refill later in the day. Some days the coffee is superb and some days only good. I am not sure why the inconsistency in strength and taste. Still, I keep returning.....I just upped to 5 star.

Fine lakes coffee easily has one of my favorite cold brew coffees. Ive never had a bad coffee here and the service is always friendly.

The girls working there were great. Hannah was an awesome help. She even have us a reward card even though we only come up once a month. Made sure to tell us it doesnt expire. I wish they had one in fort wayne !!

Five Lakes is a must stop when I come to Angola! Their coffee is always amazing and the service is fast. I usually go through the drive-thru and the service is always fast when youre in a hurry, but I also love the atmosphere inside.

Very fast and friendly! We are from Michigan and used to get Biggby frequently so when we moved to Angola we were in need of a new coffee place. When you walk in the smell is incredible from the chocolate and treats they have! I got a Chai tea latte, its my go to, and it was the perfect blend of spice and sweet! The service was friendly and fast even though they were busy! Its a great atmosphere to sit and have a coffee date! Definitely recommend.

Great place! The chocolate used is Ghirardellis. Delicious & rich. They have hot and cold drinks as well as various types of muffins and baked goods. In addition, they sell chocolates.

GLCC has very good and different flavors of coffee every day! Great place to sit and enjoy time with friends or just to sit quietly by yourself. Homey feeling and great people working there. Service with a smile and friendliness.

Im at Great Lakes once a week, and its always warm, pleasant, and a wonderful place to get work done. Theyve got free WiFi, good prices on their coffee (competitive with larger national chains), and lots of snacks to choose from as well. One of my favorite places in Angola!
