I went here to get my cracked screen replaced after waiting for them to get new screens in for my phone. When I got there, the technician was not in but she said that shed be there soon so I just left my phone for her to fix whenever she got back. After a few hours we get a call saying all of the screens that they tried were defective so they put my old screen back on for the meantime but the condition was the same. Before I brought my phone in, it was usable, I could still see everything and use it as normal. When I got it back from them it was worse than I left it. I cannot see anything on my screen. To even call someone I have to use Siri. I have to leave this review on my laptop. She then goes on to ask for a down payment... for a failed job... I would have gone back for them to try again If she had not lied about the condition knowing I would not be the one there to pick it up. Im a college student with no car and now no phone having to figure out the next step.

I call wanting to know if they carried a certain computer parts pci-e usb 3.0 card the person I talked to said there is no pci card, cable, no way to get usb 3.0 on a computer that didnt come built-in to the computer. I went to Walmarts website and found what I was looking for. The person at Phone genius lied to me.. also unfriendly and unprofessional..

Not really impressed with the time it takes to get a replacement screen protector, 4 weeks is a little excessive especially on a popular phone. A screen protector does no good if it takes that long to get.

I took my iPad a while back because the home button sank in and wasn’t working right. They fixed it, and it was fine for a while. Then the apps started staying open and wouldn’t close. They put a new screen and new button in and it works great. The amazing part is they didn’t charge me again because they felt it stemmed from the button repair. What a company. Great people, great place, I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks again Genius!

They only get 4 stars cause I paid $400 to have my phone fixed,after waiting a wk for parts they were fast about fixing it. When I got my phone back an hr later I found that the back cover (also glass) was still broke! I was mad when I brought this to their attention I was told that the back was another $75 and the parts were on back order and it would b at most a wk out! WTF? U COULDNT TELL ME THAT WHEN I WAS HANDING OVER$400 IN ADVANCE FOR U TO ORDER PARTS THE FIRST TIME ? I SAID I WANT IT FIXED NOT JUST THE FRONT! OTHERWISE GREAT SERVICE!

I needed a new battery for my iPhone 6. The staff was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had to leave my phone for two hours because of the lengthy process of replacing the battery (glue). The price was fair, and my phone works great. I would not hesitate to recommend Genius Phone Repair to anyone.

Horrible service! I was originally quoted the wrong price and then they tried to charge me almost $200 more to pick up my phone. I was told they couldnt just believe what I was quoted.Part was bad, had it replaced AFTER they ordered the wrong part. Screen wouldnt even turn on a day after that repair. Took it back and they fixed it. Now, one day later, the volume doesnt work and they claim its not their problem.All of these things worked fine before taking it to them!Many other bad customer service experiences and quality issues but too many to list them all!

My phone would not charge. They looked it over and it was just lint in the charging port. They cleaned it out and my phone is charging great!!

OK so I have had a hell of an experience with these people. I took my phone in to get the charging port fixed and when I left I had a cap ton of problems. I cant even use my phone at home anymore. I have had to go in there so many times for this same issue. They are just masking the problem instead of fixing it. Not very happy at all!!! Today is Sunday and now I have to wait till Wednesday to go back and get it fixed yet again. Very very disappointed and dissatisfied.

First. Let me say that the people who work there, are very kind. They try to be very accommodating. However, their kindness doesn’t really make up for how bad the service is. My daughter dropped her iPad, which was a week old, and this store said, “we’ll fix it and make it just like it was.”Well, it took them about a week to get it back to us the first time. When we got it back, the screen was significantly darker, difficulty responding to touch, and within a few days, the screen went black all together.So it was returned. The people working apologized, saying it was the techs fault.Fast forward two and a half weeks. It’s returned with a non working home button, difficulty responding to touch, a bubble under the main screen and their trademark darkened screen.This store pretty much destroyed an iPad, refused to give anything for it, and we ended up having to get a brand new one in its place.I absolutely would not recommend going here, unless you’re absolutely desperate. Just know going in, that your phone or iPad will not come back in the same condition. If at all possible, try the trip to the apple store. It may be a longer drive, but I guarantee you that you won’t have this type of headache.

I got my iPhone 6+s screen replaced. Replacement screen has way more glare than Apples original screen. The home/touchID button has rough edges. Im not sure if it was improperly fitted or if it is just poor design. Its not a huge deal but I would of appreciated a heads up about the differences before they did the work.Staff was very friendly and even moved me up queue to fit my schedule without charging the express service fee.I would recommend going to the Apple Store or sending your phone in for service if you have the ability.

Paid them to put in a charging port and they decided to shortcut the process and just solder the old one. When I confronted them about it they said they would put the new port in but there was a 50/50 chance they might ruin the phone in the process and it wouldnt be their responsibility. This AFTER they charged me FULL price to install the charger port in the first place. Dont be fooled by these incompetent thieves. Theyll take your money and give you excuses.

I was kinda disappointed that I was being charged over $250 to repair a broken phone that was only worth about $120. Made no sense to me.

UPDATE JULY 2017: I recently bought a Genius refurbished Samsung galaxy 7 smartphone. I am still very happy with Genius products and services. I received no special consideration for this review past or present. I upped to 5 star.Took my Nexus 10 in for repair as it would not boot correctly. Service was prompt and courteous. After the full disclosure and prices estimates, GPR performed the diagnosis and later took back off tablet with my prior permission. The battery appeared to be ok but after observing several possibly conflicting anomalies GPR guessed that the battery was bad and said they would have to order one - 5 to 7 days. The call back was supposed to be 1800 hrs and I received call early at 1757 hrs. To this point I am happy with GPR service and technical ability. I AM VERY GLAD THEY ARE IN TOWN TO PROVIDE THIS SERVICE- SO THANKS GPR. Now, I hope your diagnosis is correct and it is not the charging or processing PCB or anything else as it is a very expensive proposition to repair :)I just cannot leave without saying that some of the 1 star ratings seem sort of ridiculous. How can a customer possibly expect to the minute time tables for a variable time repair / diagnosis? I do agree that any damage should have been divulged right away - delaying agony is rarely less painful.I reserve 5 star ratings for truly exceptional performance. To this point I have not seen anything but good solid service and technical ability. This may change and if so, I will add a 5 star rating.

My iPhone 6 screen was cracked so I went to go get a new screen the first time I went the bottom of my screen had a blue line. The second time I had the same issue and the third time there is a white dot on my screen it is a hour drive to get here and is very inconvenient.
