Everyone at Gulf Coast from the top down did an extraordinarily awesome job on my purchase!!!! Mark Hollian has been taking care of my auto needs without hesitation for many years, and always takes great care of anyone that I have sent them as well. Mike Gomez, Rudy and Blaine also go above and beyond as well. I will, and am going to be their life long customer for sure!!!! Thank you all for what and how you do your jobs!!!! Fantastic work guys!!!!!
The key entry strip that was replaced started to come off, I was told that they did not put enough glue the last time, so Im guessing they put some this time and they put green tape to hold it in place, several problems nowMy entry code does not work anymore, the keys stay light at night and cant get green tape off, so another trop clear across town to address this
My F350 had an oil leak. I took my truck to another dealership initially. The diagnosis/repair time kept getting pushed back. I contacted Gulf Coast and spoke with Angie concerning the situation. I also stated that if I were to bring it in I would need a courtesy ride. Angie and Johnny both were here helpful in giving me a reasonable timeframe for completion. Angie even contacted me before the work was initiated. Instead of my truck sitting for 3.5 weeks, Gulf Coast completed my vehicle in less than 72 hours. Great experience.
Great lunch at the Ford dealership, The Grill!! Home made fresh daily.
I had a problem with my Lincoln and from the reviews I read online from people with the same vehicle and issue, I was worried the dealership would try to get out of responsibility of the problem. I had called the Lincoln dealership where I purchased the vehicle and they immediately started making excuses. When I called Gulf Coast Ford they were knowledgeable about the problem and set up a service appointment. Greg was my guy and he was great. He stayed in contact with me to let me know what was going on. He was friendly and helpful. When I got my car back, I still had a small problem and he took care of it right away. I am extremely thankful to Greg and Gulf Coast Ford for taking care of me and my car.
The service I received was exceptional. The maintenance performed was completed in a greater time than I had anticipated. I believe the service was a 4-Star service which would have been 5-Star if the floors had been vacuumed during the oil change. Thanks for the fantastic service otherwise.
The Gulf Coast Ford Service Department & Mechanical Team in Angleton, Texas are a good group of folks to work with.
After having my car serviced and back home 1hr plus away notice one of the locking lug nuts missing. Called the dealer and talked to the service representative who was very polite and was forward to the service manger who promised to bring the to my home and fix the issue. Well it never has happened also the oil service light was not reset, I know this to be a minor thing but it was obvious there was lack of engagement. This is the second time I have had an issue when having my car service the first time a center cap on the wheel was missing. The sales department does a great job and the service department needs to ensure they can support with good service. I will go back but will do a complete walkdown of my vehicle before I depart.
I always buy my vehicles from Gulf Coast. Sean Watson always does a fine job without any runaround. Quick in and quick out. All commitments are kept.Very happy with my new truck and the whole experience!
Completely disappointed. I had a WONDERFUL experience with the Toyota service department when I had my Avalon, but not with the Ford service department. Ive documented my experience with my 2013 Ford Explorer on a previous review, so I wont be re-hashing that, but, if you want effective service, delivered in an expedient manner, with truthful, straight-forward communication during the process, I DO NOT recommend Gulf Coast Ford Service department.Sincerely submitted,Lynn Tolbert
We always have a great, quick experience when buying here. Good guys, fair prices! Definitely recommend.
Cody Kenney is by far the best salesman to work with!!
Went in for a oil change and tire rotation. when i left i noticed that there was oil on my windshield and when i got home there was oil dripping on my garage floor and oil all over my truck. I took it back the next day and asked them to recheck my oil and clean oil off of my truck, they couldnt tell me what had happened and would not clean my truck. Then reason i pay more to go to the Ford place instead of Wal Mart is for a better quality job and better service which i did not get at Gulf Coast this time.
For the last 12yrs, Martin Salinas has taken fantastic care of my Expedition for me and my family. Thank you!
Let me say they have been doing much better than my previous experience. The salesman and service depth were very helpful
I would give less stars if I could. We have done business here for so many years and bought all our vehicles here (at least 6) we also get and all our service is done here. But they stink at service. We have had issues multiple times of them keeping our vehicle for days and doing nothing. This time we dropped out car at 7:30am for and 8am appointment on Thursday and yet on Friday afternoon at 2:30pm they hadn’t even moved it. They also lied to us when we called and said it was in a bay so we drove by and nope hadn’t even been moved. They lost all respectability and all our business. Won’t ever return again for any reason.
First time we took our truck for an oil pan issue, got it back and there was oil all over the engine. Took it back and they cleaned it. Cool. This time, took the truck in for a check engine light. The service advisor was so rude and treated me like I was an inconvenience, stayed slouched in his chair and was sarcastic the whole time I was talking to him!To top it off, they kept our truck almost two weeks AND we had valuable items stolen out of it. Called the service manager who just gave excuse after excuse about ALL the different people that have access to your vehicle and they are not responsible for items left in your vehicle. Just poorly run dealership. Horrible service and horrible management!
Very helpful staff. We were not pressured. We originally looked at a Nissan and the salesman from Nissan showed us many vehicles including Nissan, Toyota, and the Fords. It was nice to only deal with one salesman.
Have done business there for decades. They finally went two for two on my wifes truck. Got an oil change, and they didnt put the oil cap back on the engine... blew oil all under the hood. They did a complete detail for free, and they did a GREAT job, but my windshield cover disappeared. They have offered to reimburse me for the cover and oil I had to buy. I WILL continue to do business with them. Ill just do a better job of examining my vehicle before I drive it off the lot from now on.
Fully met all my expectations. Completely satisfied.
I don’t know why I never bought a vehicle from this dealership before. They are professional and don’t play games back and forth with numbers after numbers you are not going to agree with. They gives you the best deal the first time. There’s no price haggling they’re honest. I was in an out a total of 1 hour that includes selecting my vehicle and financing my vehicle. I will buy again from this dealership. I highly recommend this dealership if you are looking for a new or used vehicle.Rev. Aaron SimpsonService was perform without problems, there service department is second to none. Angie is my service advisor and she is very professional makes sure you getting the best service. They are the best !!!!!!!!!!!!
Only comment is that if you have trucks with 35s for tires then you might want to invest in a machine that can mount and balance the tires.
Oh WOW! Best auto shopping experience Ive had in years. We got out and had privacy for a little while to look, then at the right time a salesman came out into the TX. It was my daughter and me but looking for 2 completely different trucks. I talked with him first and we worked through each thing I needed on the truck. Then went through the inventory for each one. Next was my daughter. First she sent him away, poor guy. Mainly not because she was just looking, but shes one the phone with her cousin. I went out and told her they could talk later. He spent a total of 2 hrs between the both of us working to match up trucks in the hot TX sun. He was super! I wish today was the day we both were going to drive off in those 2 vehicles so he would have had back to back sales. But I have a good feeling he will be seeing us in the near future.
Mrs. Angie went above and beyond to help resolve my issue and get me taken care of. She scheduled a drop off and pick up time and the repairs were completed on time. Wonderful experience
My experience was great! I brought my vehicle in to get looked at, the staff was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I was also made aware of some recalls that I hadnt known about. Everything was finished that same day! Ill definitely be headed back for service issues! Thank you Liz!
I had an appointment. Service was great. The only problem was a customers 🐕 in the waiting area that the owner kept walking around and in front of us. The much older ladys allergy flared up and she had to go STAND elsewhere. Then I started smelling the dog via my mask and I had to move. DOGS shouldnt be allowed in the waiting room!
Would have been 5 stars if they wouldnt have let air out of my tires and now the tire pressure light is on and Ill have to pay to get them filled back because theyre nitrogen filled..
Matt at the service center needs serious customer service skills. Please send him to training. Such a downer speaking to him.
Make appointments-- more convenient for you as the customer.
Wow...an enjoyable experience all the way around. I was getting my oil changed. It didnt take long at all and the waiting area was very clean and comfy. I love my service lady. She is always pleasant and very informative. Thank you for the great service.
This place is Great. New cars and Trucks and stuff, pretty impressive. Til I go in with a cable repair ... Now my car is pretty near 20 years old. I take good care of mechanical and electrical stuff. With the help of a good Mechanic. (Moody and Sons is my preferred now.) In I went. When asked about the why and wherefores of my visit, told him of the cable I maybe wanted. The boss Mechanic said he could get the labor amount and off he went. When the original guy found it, I was quoted $59 to $89 plus labor. Up he comes and the quoted price for labor is $290. Top end, were looking at $450. All that for a fuel tank cable replacement ... So I left, thanked all, and puttered on home. [How it got broke is another tale. Hope that helps.
I just recently bought my second Ford from Gulf Coast Ford and the experience was excellent!! (I owned a Toyota in between my Fords which I bought from Gulf Coast Toyota and the experience was less than stellar). Sean Watson was my salesman and he was awesome!! I went up there knowing which truck I wanted, he found it for me, I test drove it, and bought it! Hes definitely a no BS salesman which is usually not the case. He was professional, knowledgeable, didnt try to talk me into something else to make a bigger sale which was much appreciated. I had a lift kit, tires, and bed liner added to my truck and Sean set all of it up. This process was so seamless and easy which again, is usually not the case when buying a vehicle. I will definitely be a repeat GC Ford customer and will recommend Sean to anyone else whos looking!
I stick with them they have good technicians that will do the job right, and the service adviser Matthew is very Honest and will treat you right and fair, will not try to sale you what you dont need or want
Gulf Coast is always exceeding my expectations. The Ford Service is always first class. Good consultants and good technicians.
I love this place. I come here ever so often to pickup some vehicles for a customer. Mike Sullivan is my POC hes pretty direct and understanding
I bought my Ford Fusion 11yrs 2mos ago. They have taken care of it ever since. Weve bought several cars from Gulf Coast. Pretty sure we will keep going back!
My salesman, Tilman, was great. He did everything I asked, delivered when he said he would, and coordinated all the aftermarket items I added quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend Gulf Coast Ford!
Great service and great hospitality. Recommend to anyone who wants great service. Thanks
Great place told them my problem said they would fix it call when done
I bought my new F-150 from Gulf Coast and the service i received from Mike G was phenomenal, i bought vehicle from out of town and everything went smooth when i went in to dealer everything was ready. I would highly recommend Gulf Coast to anyone buying.
All personnel were courteous & Angie Shaw kept me informed of the oil change & repair progress in a timely manner. I will be back.
I love my new Ford Escape. It gets great gas mileage and has all the features for safe driving. Its smarter than me. The navigation system is easy to use and easy to see. I highly recommend you get one.
I told them before I gave them my keys I only wanted a oil change and nothing else. They still came and found me asking about air and fuel filters and said they should be done. I do my own and had less than 4k on them. The ford pass rewards system is a joke and when asking about it to the lady where you pay she just said she cant help and doesnt know what to do about it when I asked a question. She said I should try calling Ford. She was basically too busy laughing with another guy about random stuff instead of her job.
Great service and awsome place to eat lunch in the little on location cafe
Made my appointment using Ford Pass for 730 am. Was there at 715am and was on my way home by 750am. Can’t ask for more then that.
Great food in the Grill .
I had major issues with my 2020 F150. Liz De la Torre in the service department is why this dealership got 5 stars. She told me to come in and wait, when other dealerships told me no. She stayed on top of my problem and made sure I got taken care of. She also discovered pending recalls with other items on my vehicle, and took care of those too. I am grateful to have people look out for me when Im so far from home.
Miss Angie is the best, most courteous and attentive service person Ive ever worked with. Pure professionalism. Will continue my business with Gulf Coast due to her.
Best experience ever!! Dwayne in Internet Sales was great as was Nick in Finance
I was 100% satisfied with the service I received when I took my truck in last week! I forgot to make an appointment, and they serviced my truck with complete and appreciative care. Thanks to you and keep up the great work and those smiling faces!!!!
They Don’t answer your calls
I would recommend GCF in the future. They took care of my repairs and were nice enough to loan a vehicle to me when I needed one. Liz was very efficient and the communication was stellar. I will be taking my vehicles to GCF in the future.
They got me in on a day and time that I selected. Took me home while doing the recall replacement. Picked me up at my home to take me back to the dealership to pick up my vehicle the same day. Very organized and polite.
Even though I bought my Expedition at a different dealer, I always bring it to Gulf Coast Ford for service. Every visit has been excellent. Using the Quick Lane service I’m in and out in under an hour. A couple of months ago, they replaced my factory battery and the work was performed much better than expected and the price was very competitive. When it comes time to trade in my vehicle, I’ll be shopping here first.
Liz Del Torres in Ford service is very helpful and knowledgeable.
I love Gulf Coast Ford. They have the best sales & service department. I have had nothing but the best experience each time I have shopped for a new truck.
Marty Salinas is awesome
Everyone was friendly and didn’t use any high pressure sales tactics. We worked with Dan and was a pleasure. Would recommend if your in the market.
Fast service, friendly people.Toyota..
Edit 9/10/2020. So, I edited my review on 9/8/2020 with some concerns about my recent purchase. My complaints were addressed very quickly and I am happy to confirm that all my issues and concerns were resolved 9/9/2020. I was greeted by GM Mark Hollian (sp?). And the sales manager and my original salesman Dale Janic. I must say that I was treated extremely well and with utmost courtesy and I am now completely satisfied with the outcome. Once I made my edit on 9/9/2020, these guys jumped into action and made me a very satisfied customer.8/29/2029 original review I am extremely satisfied with the overall experience of purchasing my 2015 Ford Explorer. Dale Janick was an excellent sales person. The vehicle itself is just what I was looking for. It does have a couple of issues that will hopefully be resolved this week. I have purchased other vehicles from this dealership and have always been treated with respect and utmost courtesy. I highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.Edit 9/8/2020. While I’m still very happy with my vehicle that I purchased, seems like someone within the organization is dragging their feet on a few issues. I traded in a newer vehicle that I had both of the proximity keys along with the manufacturer default door lock key code still attached. With the car I received, I got key 2of 2. Key 1 of 2 is somehow missing. (??). I don’t get the same fuzzies that anyone’s looking. Also, they have no idea what the manufacturer original door lock code is or how to retrieve it. (Seriously you are Ford and you have the VIN #. Someone knows how or where to find this info). Again. I don’t get the warm fuzzies that anyone is looking to solve this issue. I get the same answer. We are looking and will call you back. Not true. Since my trade and purchase, no one from the dealership has yet to call me. I’m quickly getting the feeling that if “I” don’t personally stay on top of these issues and continue to make a nuisance of myself at their showroom I’m not gonna get any assistance. If key #1 cant be found, why can’t they order an additional key for me. And must I contact Ford Geek Squad myself to get the original door lock code?? Starting to feel like I’ve been left to solve these issues myself.
I scheduled an appointment and arrived about 15 minutes early, they got me right in and was done in about 25 minutes. So it was quick and Brian was very polite and helped me price a couple things while I was there. Overall Gulf Coast is where Ill get all my oil changes done, not to mention theyre the best price around.
Techs seem to forget to put things back after oil changes.
Mathew was great. He talked to me about my car and what I needed to fix now and the rest in time. Thank you for washing my car too!!😃
Was very disappointed with after purchase service. I expected to get two key fobs with a purchase of a $30k+ F150 and got the run around from sales. I was told I had to buy the spare key fob myself for $167 and then have to pay $150 to get it programmed. I asked if Gulf coast ford would meet me half way by waiving the programming fee and got no help. I advise everyone that does business with Gulf Coast Ford to have everything put in writing before you drive off the lot. Fill out the we owe you form and make them do what they promise. That was my mistake.
I had an awesome experience there. Salesmen Lee Gracia did an outstanding job. His knowledge of the sales processs and of the vehicles, had convinced me to purchase one. Mind you, I had been to 3 other dealerships that day and settled in on waiting until the following week, until I stopped by Gulf Coast Ford in Angleton, Texas
Service advisor met me outside for service request (oil change, DEF fill) After multipoint inspection, also recommended replacement of dirty air and cabin filters. I also elected to change fuel filters since these were due soon. Service was able to take care of these maintenance items while I talked with the Finance department about Ford Protect extended warranty. Great service is the norm in my experience.
Love the convenience of location. Staff is always pleasant and had a minor problem with a/c they squeezed it in during my oil change.
Add an appointment several weeks in advance. Took them two days before they looked at my vehicle. After repeated calls to check on status, I finally picked up vehicle 10 days later. One problem never addressed, the other problems diagnosed, no parts ordered, problems not fixed. Was told that next time I brought it in they could replace parts since they knew what problem was. My car was brought in clean and it was apparent it sat outside longer than was in a bay due to amount of dirty rain all over vehicle.
Gulf Coast Ford Service is an excellent dealership. Every time I have had dealings with them they have been friendly, timely & helpful! I recently had an emergency phone call to the Service Manager, he helped me over the phone. I would highly recommend them! Also The Grill is a great asset! Their food is awesome!
Service was quick and efficient. Thank you for being there. I know when I go to Gulf Coast, My FORD Dealer, I am going to get good efficient service .
Great, fast service. Very courteous staff.
Bought our last several cars from Gulf Coast. Always treated with respect, no pressure, sales and finance are knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. My salesman Daren was very kind, listened to me and what I wanted and worked to help me get exactly what I wanted.
Great selection of F150s, salesmen were GREAT (no high-pressure stuff). I have never owned a Ford, but glad I went here for my first one!!
I made an appointment to have an issue with my 2019 Mustang repaired. When I checked in, I was told it would be 24-48 hours before they could even evaluate my car. I asked why I needed an appointment if they couldn’t even look at my car. The reply, “So you can be in line.” I asked why I needed to bring my car in if the appointment was for putting me in line. The reason I was given was to hold my place. When I called, I was not informed I was making an appointment to be in a queue. I requested a loaner. They cannot provide a loaner until after the problem has been diagnosed. I told the service advisor, Mike White that I would have no transportation to work. He was apologetic but apologies do not get me to work.
I just bought my first Ford truck from Gulf Coast Ford in Angleton, TX. The entire experience was easy and the people were great. My salesman Tillman Walker was not pushy and was able to answer every question I had. The finance department got me in and out in record time and explained everything to me. My overall experience was excellent.
Roger was great! Couldnt have been better!
Excellent service! Competitive prices! People could not have been nicer!
I purchased my (used) 2014 Ford Escape from Gulf Coast Ford about 4 years ago. Salesman MIKE GOMEZ was TERRIFIC! He helped me feel like a one-and-only customer, even though he was very busy. Gold star for him programming my phone into the car! - I purchased the warranty - and all warranty services at Gulf Coast Ford have been excellent! Ive recently purchased a follow-on warranty for my Escape and plan to keep on driving it for possibly the next 5+ years. Gulf Coast Ford is BIG - - theyve got many tasks at all times. I find both their sales and service departments to be beautifully integrated for best possible customer experience. (And no, Ive not been paid to provide this glowing reference. Its for REAL!!!!) JA
Good morning,I had purchased a new truck in Dec.2018.A truck dreams are made of...I had also purchased a maintenance plan with allow 15 services over the next seven years, or at 5K miles. In the first 5 months off owning the truck Ive only put 2K+ due to the fact Im able to drive a company truck for work.Jessica, was able to get my truck serviced at every 6 months instead of 5K miles.I would like to personally, Thank her for the great service. Thanks, Billy
They showed me cars that I wanted to see. They listened and helped in everyway possible
Don’t ever buy from this place they are crooks and thieves. No integrity whatsoever. Worst business in south Brazoria county
Just purchased another used vehicle from them. The buying experience was great. They are very straightforward and deal with integrity. I checked multiple dealerships throughout the greater Houston area and their prices are very fair. No hesitation in recommending them. Mike Gomez did well by us.
I had a great experience from start to finish. Sean Watson, my salesman, did exactly what he said he would do and never tried to rope me in with ridiculous promises. Sean was professional, respectful, and direct. My experience with finance and insurance was great as well. Everything was explained clearly and any questions were answered clearly. From the time I walked in until I left with my new car was all total about an hour. There’s no haggling back and forth with the salesman playing middle man between customer and sales manager. I also really appreciate the technology they have for signing the paperwork. It’s all electronic and at the end I was given a thumb drive with all the documents on it and not a 3 inch thick stack of paper. I would absolutely buy here again. My dad also bought a truck here and had the same great experience. I definitely recommend this dealership. It’s been about 6 months since my purchase and the dealer sent me service coupons. I scheduled an appointment and brought the car in for an oil change, tire rotation, and multipoint check up. They got me in at the appointment time and had me checked out and on my way in about 45 minutes to an hour. As a mechanic myself I can say that is a very reasonable time frame. If it were less I would have been wondering what they missed. Everything I requested was done and the car was still clean when I got it back. I’m still very satisfied with the service at Gulf Coast Ford.
I had a wonderful experience in purchasing my new truck. Cody Kenny was most helpful. I feel he went above and beyond to help me. My truck is really nice and a beautiful color. Thank you.
I dealt with very nice people that went the extra mile.
Sean Watson is an excellent sales person and we were able to negotiate what I believe to be a great deal for a 2019 Ford Flex. There were a few issues that occurred in getting delivery, but the dealership was exceptional and took care of us well. I would recommend them for buying a new Ford. They are very competitive!
Family friendly and customer service experience was great
Good service, hot food
Rainy day..Sales guy was great (no stuffed shirt ) easy goin no pressure type guy. That knew his stuff..Dealership was Large enough to have inventory in small town area..Clean /Beautiful place...Buying was easy and went quick..(not rushed just Smooothe)
New king ranch. Great truck. Sean Watson was so easy to work with. Linda with license plates, TxDPS had a hiccup, she made it right and earned an A+. Ford had a paint hiccup, and despite Ford declining the repair as warranty, the dealership took care of it. Im duly impressed. Only thing holding them back from 5 stars was the delivery of the pickup. Still has stickers all over it, I expected those to be cleaned off. All things considered, Id give a 4.5 if I could... if the dealership wants to desticker the truck and wash it, ill change my rating. Otherwise, well done GCF.
I honestly had fun buying my car!! When does that ever happen? Lori Garner is the most knowledgeable and patient Sales Consultant I’ve ever worked with! She even helped me sync my phone to the car before I left...at her suggestion. Christian, the Finance Manager, was so helpful and the process was totally painless! All around, a wonderful experience!!I’ve found my car dealership!!
I have been bringing my 2 F150 trucks to this Dealership for over 2 years and the service has always been GREAT. They LISTEN to my needs. They let me know if they see something that I was not aware of and I am a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!Great job GULF COAST FORD!
In 2016, I purchased 2 vehicles from these guys and got a great deal on my trades and my purchases. I know this because I am in the auto industry myself and verified independently. One of my cars was recently flooded and I am in the process of finalizing my claim with my insurance company and my GAP Insurance coverage. Even though it wasnt going to make his paycheck, Christian (Finance Department) was courteous and expedient in providing me the necessary documents (Invoice and Contract) that are required to complete my claim. We should all be able to expect this level of service from a dealer after the purchase, but the reality is that isnt always the case. I wanted you to know that I had a good experience here and will return here for future purchases.
I went in for Preventive Maintenance the Works Oil change at 34,000+ miles. My experience was excellent. Even though the work was performed within a reasonable time the service advisor apologized to me and other customers that were waiting because the Manager had called everyone in for a short unexpected meeting. Im not sure what could have made the meeting necessary but my experience was still fine/excellent. I will continue to have my vehicle serviced at Gulf Coast Ford
Very pleasant young man greeted me and answered all my questions. Lady at cashiers desk very nice and friendly. Oil change was done very quickly.
