NEVER!!!! AND I REPEAT NEVER!!!! HAVE I EVER HAD SUCH A PLEASANT STOP AND SHOP EXPERIENCE!!! I ordered my daughters birthday cake a few days ago, the sweet gentleman at the bakery was AMAZING AND EXTREMELY PATIENT!! Today I went to pick up my cake which was PERFECT and asked if I could pay for some balloons to be filled, the woman (I believe shift leader or manager) kindly told me absolutely and waited for me to grab the empty balloons from my car. I went back in and a young man helped me and filled my balloons, a little incident occurred with a balloon (lol) and another kind young lady was pleased to help me and by all means she went above and beyond! These days it’s RARE to find so many employees willing to go above and beyond for a customer! I appreciate you all, I will be back! Ps! These employees deserve a special treat!! I hope the owner knows the greatness in this store!

A decent store with limited capacity and, this, limited stock. Cashier was diligent and in training but pleasant and efficient. Bagger was clueless; placing very different items together with no attention that bananas should not go under bottles of soda, or that warm things should not be return cold. If we go back, Ill do my own bagging.

All of the food is fresh, looks tasty and the diversity is great! There are many different option if you are lactose free, vegan, vegetarian and additionally there are enough fresh types of meat for the regular people!

Smaller store but has a little of everything. Great deli and fresh seafood selection. Wonderful sale items. Easy self checkout. Large parking lot. Great hours.

Disappointed this trip. Isle where all the refrigerated allergy items are was totally empty. No dairy free frozen treats either.

Great produce, meats and dairy selection. Store is very clean and cashiers are very efficient and friendly.

Easily the most poor stop and shop I’ve been to. Everything is either running low or not stocked at all. Meats, ice cream, produce, every isle has something it’s completely out of. Waited ten minutes for someone to show up at the meat counter. I only go here in a pinch because it’s close. Man who I believe is the manger is always friend and helpful though.

I had a question and had just called. I got my answer right away, which shows that I have excellent customer service skills.

Its my preferred place to shop in Andover as its a bit smaller than the mega marts, and if you use their app, the prices arent terrible for this area, sometimes its quite a deal. They dont have everything I require but at least I dont have get it all at Whole Paycheck.

This is an extremely low stocked limited variety Stop and Shop both in the meat section as well as middle aisles. Something also smelled of bad meat.

Its a convenient close location for me to go shopping plus the produce department is the best in the store follow Bakery and the rest of the store my favorite area of the store its Bakery I recommend the store to anyone who lives nearby or whatever you are thank you

I went there specifically because there was a sale on fruit. In the fine print sale was only applicable if you buy $25 minimum. Since stop & shop is overpriced sometimes by significant amount as compared to another place that I usually go to. Whatever benefits I would get would be overcome by the excessive pricing.I desperately try to seek reasonably priced items. And I failed. So I left the food behind me and left stop & shop.I dont like this type of scam.And because this offends my sensibilities I lowered my rating of this facility. As a whole any suggestion that I made before about going there I retract

You may always find here discounts for the most part of the stuff you came here to buy.I LOVE that they have Scan it! devices - they are done in a very good manner (although only for a younger folks). A software company who developed it has done a very good job! However I, as a PO, would have done it more age friendly so my mom would use it as well :) It isnt hard actually

Has much room for improvement. Not a great selection of products I buy. Parking is easy not much help there. Maybe the worst stop and shop I’ve ever been to. A disappointment for sure

Reccomend this store for emergency groceries only. The beef is probably the worst Ive ever had the experience of purchasing . I would grade the quality below average. The only thing that keeps this store alive is their bakery. Baked goods are always fresh and taste wonderful.

This is a great Stop & Shop. It has plenty of parking, a large selection of products, and helpful staff. Ive always been able to find what I needed. There is a strong connection to the local community, with school sports teams or Girl Scouts out raising money throughout the year.

The back of the store smells very fishy. I wouldnt trust the fish here but Ive had decent luck with meat and produce. It is very convenient and a smaller store so its easy to get in and out quick. The selection is pretty good considering how small it is.

Great store and very helpful staff. The store is easy to find and easy to get to on Route 38. Store is kept very clean and if you look like you are looking for something, the manager will ask you if he can help you find what you are looking for. I was very impressed with the deli and meat department.

Home away from home

Im not really a shopping guy myself, but Im pleased with my purchases at the Stop & Shop. The atmosphere is nice and calming, it has a fresh smell to it too. Got everything I needed everytime I went there.

Very clean store with great deals if you are flexible on brands and are willing to stock up with a few weeks supply when the deals come. They have recently reduced many prices, and some prices are unbeatable vs what other stores charge. Plus, once you consider the true effect of gas points and instant savings deals on the prices of items that participate in such deals, its almost like they are giving the product away (yes, they even put organic granola bars down to as low as $.50 a box that you would otherwise have to pay $4 at Market Basket). Once you consider this, Stop & Shop can actually cost you less than shopping at Market Basket.

Clean, well laid out store. Plenty of parking. Decent sized natural/organic section. Polite staff.

Small store. It has a lot though. Unfortunately when I went the shelves were really messy. They also had the light on for one of the registers to indicate it was open when they were actually just doing work on it. The gallons of milk they had out were only 3 days out, nothing longer. Maybe they just had an off day since I went the day after the 4th of July.

For a smaller store it meets our needs.The deli service and meats are excellent.

Why do 2 people work at the deli and only one waits on people? They talk to each other too much and dont take care of customers. Check out is horribly slow. Self checkout is very unfriendly to customers. I guess that is what a union does to you. Higher prices and less customer interaction. Disappointed.

The produce department is the best in town. John power is a outstanding union leader who pushes himself everyday to provide only the best service for stop n shop customers.

It’s ok, prices are a bit high, but convenient.

There were a couple of issues wigh the cash register .machine like scale and scanner for the stop and shop card.The cashier and the packing staff were very proactive and willing to assist with this equipment issue.

Over priced. Produce isnt fresh due to low turn around, grocery variety is lacking and their checkout system is not well thought through. In a pinch its fine to grab something but shouldnt they strive for more?

The WORST grocery store in the world. I live right down the street and refuse to go shopping here. The service is absolutely terrible, the employees are rude and incompetent of doing their simple jobs, instead they stand around on their cellphones and mingle. One of the ladies who works at the bakery doesnt even know how to write frosting on a birthday cake and screwed it up twice...the prices are absolutely ridiculous and and the store is always a mess. Avoid at all costs.

All of the meat will expire 3 days after purchase, as in when you buy it, it will smell like a dumpster in 72 hours. The place is run so mis managed that employees will watch you bag your own groceries while they talk to each other at the help desk. An absolute disgrace to food markets everywhere. More like a mockery.

Worst grocery store ive ever been to in my LIFE. manager is an absolute jerk -- threatened to force us out of the store after i fell and then attempted to take a picture of one of the displays. its not against any laws to take a photo in a grocery store, last time i checked. not to even mention the depressing produce section and complete lack of chicken ?? literally was just a totally empty section labeled chicken. officially the worst grocery store chain to exist. take your business somewhere else.

The stop and shop in Andover is very small with limited variety.

Not good. I had to wait too long for someone to assist with self check out and then again to pay, too much waiting.

Had to go to customer service because something didnt go right, the customer service lady had an attitude but I will still shop at this location when its convenient for me. Its always fully stocked.
