Ive been very happy with Myers. When we moved here we tried multiple places, we feel this is an honest shop, they give a full explanation of whats going on and why it needs repair/replacement. Theyre so honest in fact they came in under the approved estimate on replacing shocks, breaks and a laundry list of other things. They keep our 2005 Chevy and 2013 Honda running like new. It doesnt hurt that theres a great coffee place across the street to kill time for oil changes!
PLEASE READ BEFORE TAKING YOUR CAR HERE!!!! I came to this location because of my warranty through Carmax. I was having problems in the rear of my Ford Mustang. There was clumping noises when I drove over speed bumps. I arrived here and dropped my car off. They told me that they couldn’t hear what the problem was when they test drove it. My campus is 20 minutes away from this location so I drove out there and drove it for them. They heard the sound and said the shocks were bad. They ended up having my car for 3 days so I had to depend on friends to take me places. I said okay and they fixed my shocks. Just to be sure I drove on the speed bumps at school. I could still hear the sound I originally heard so I called them and told them that they did not fix it so they told me to come back out. I drove with another mechanic and he heard the noise. His only solution was that I need to drive slower over them. I told him “but there shouldn’t be a clumping sound correct?” he said “yes that’s right” so I was confused by that. Ben and the mechanic talked to me and they both said there isn’t anything they can do about it because it’s a Ford sports car and that’s just how they are. I was very unsatisfied with that answer because it just doesn’t make sense at all. I don’t know much about cars and my dad is back home in Oklahoma so he couldn’t be there with me. I ended up just taking my car to Christian Brothers because my warranty is covered with them too. I wish I took my car to them the first time. They offered transportation back to school, but I declined. I thought that was extremely nice of them! They told me to drop my car off Monday morning. I dropped it off and that afternoon they told me the problem. My sway bar links and sway bar brushings were REALLY WORN. I was relieved that they found it so quickly and upset that Myers couldn’t tell me that. I am guessing that their mechanics are just inexperienced. They only had my car for a day and I picked it up the next day because they just needed to order a part. Once I arrived to pick up my car I told them my experience at Myers and how they basically told me “oh well just deal with it”. They were shocked and told me that’s bad customer service and that they were happy that they were able to assist me. Again just take your car to Christian Brothers Automotive. For reference I went to the East Wichita location because it was closer to campus.
Sent here for carmax warranty repair because they couldnt get me in. Upon describing the issue they informed me of the cost which was covered by insurance minus the 50 dollar deductible. Problems came when I said there was battery issues and transmission issues. When they told me it would not be covered under warranty I said to leave it alone and Ill take care of it. The guy in front then proceeded to tell me that once the car battery was replaced I would need to bring it in to pay out of my pocket to have my mazda computer connected to relearn something. I acknowledged him and said thanks for the info. I then called the Mazda team directly and asked them what needed to be done when a battery is replaced for my make and model. To no surprise, they told me absolutely nothing needed to be done after the battery swap. Either the Myers auto people are ill informed or they are trying to get more money. Either way that would have cost 100 plus more dollars to perform something that was not necessary. Who knows what else would have been charged for unnecessary work to me or others.
Meyers did an AMAZING job with my car. They were able to do everything I asked for and they did it quickly with great communication throughout. I really appreciate having someone in town I can trust and depend on.
Our family has been to multiple local automotive service providers. Ben at Myers is simply the best. He is courteous, extremely knowledgeable and a true professional. I feel like our best interest in both value and ultimately safety is always the priority. We do not trust the service or repair of our family’s vehicles to anyone else. True integrity at work!CJ
Been going to Myers for a couple of years now and they always do an amazing job! This particular visit was a special one because I just had a baby and can’t leave the house. My brakes needed fixed and they worked with me over the phone and then when it was done delivered my car to my house! Such a blessing and Ben is always a joy to work with.
Excellent staff, excellent service. Ben and Riley fixed my car, and had no concern when I brought it back when it was still making some unusual noises. Shout out to Will for also helping out. Highly recommend, and will be back when it’s time for service on my Audi again. Better than the dealer, and I was impressed with all of the calls letting me know how it was going with my repairs.

I was thinking I was needing new tires. On my service report it showed I have sufficient treat to go on safely for some time yet. Very reasonable charge for the tire repair Nd now my two times in for oil change. Quality company.
This was our first experience with Myers Automotive and everything was exceptional from start to finish. Our daughters non-starting car was towed to Myers Automotive in Andover. Once her car was onsite, Ben kept us well informed through the entire process. All communications were warm and professional. I would highly recommend this business to anyone and will return.
I would recommend Myers 150% to anyone. They listened to my concerns, they offered all reasonable (and realistic) options for repairs that I needed and BEN discussed any AND ALL repair options necessary on my 2000 Dodge Dakota PRIOR to starting any work on my repairs. I knew exactly what they were going to do for the repair and I was informed of the bottom line price required for payment to do them. I was extremely impressed with their communication and empathy in regards to all concerns regarding my vehicle. Their service was prompt, reasonably priced and A+!! BEN was especially helpful and went out of his way to put my mind at ease regarding my repairs needed!!

Went in with a check engine light and a code from autozone about a sensor bad. I also had a bad squeaking noise coming from the front brakes that had been replaced at another shop. My passenger rear tire pressure sensor was also bad. Well after a brake check up of 50 dollars and a 150 diagnostics I wasInformed that the car had the following. Yes there is a noise on the front brakes but that the brakes pads and rotors are just fine and do to it being a performance car and that is probably why the noise happens when braking. The diagnostics turned out that the car had all kinds of issues unrelated to the sensor issue on the Autozone report. The oil needed changed and flushed and a recommended a GM filter needed to be used. They cleared codes but said that I would need to bring the car back into investigate the codes some more. I was informed that I had a TPS failure also, just like I had informed them. After paying $361 dollars for total repairs the check engine light came back on less than 5 miles from leaving their shop. The car was there for 51 hours total. So all in all when done I got a 361 dollar oil and filter change and the vehicle has all the same problems it had when I took in. I would not take another vehicle there again.
I was referred here by CarMax due to CarMax being a little backed up on service. Took my 2015 Jeep in to have the headlights looked at cause they simultaneously stopped working and I assumed it was an electrical issue since headlights don’t typically burnout at the exact same time. I received a call from Meyers stating my windshield wipers, tires, air filter, coolant and various other things needed to be replaced as well as just 1 of my headlights. Come to find out it was both headlights that needed replaced and they said it would be $398 to remove and replace the current bulbs. I asked if it was for certain that it wasn’t an electrical issue and was then told I’d be charged an additional $100 to figure that out. I then told them not to worry about checking with the warranty provider since they didn’t care to do so without being prompted to see if diagnosing any electrical issues would be covered by the warranty before telling me it would be an additional $100. Anyways, I went home and looked up a 3 minute long YouTube video and after a $70 run to autozone and 15 minutes fooling with my headlights, it turns out one was shattered and the other was burnt out which explained why they both weren’t working. Much cheaper and faster than paying these guys to do it for $398. And yes, I should of looked up the YouTube video first but I guess that’s what I get for assuming an automotive shop would be fair and honest.

I highly recommend Myers. I have had three different cars in for service with varying degrees of complexity and their work has been outstanding. Repair costs have come in as estimated and work has been completed on time. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and will discuss areas of potential complications that could increase the repair time and cost ahead of time. If you have worked on your own car at all, you know the potential for stripped bolts or other complications that can increase the effort and parts costs and these guys knew the common areas for issues and discussed that potential up front.
Grant it Ive only brought work trucks here for tires and minor things but they do a good job getting our trucks back on the road. Ill be pricing them soon for brake work on my car and Ill update as I deal with the company. So far no issues and good customer service.
My Buick was acting up, and lost all power. They took my vehicle and said it was my battery. I argued with them for 1 hour, telling them out is not my battery. Finally, I either had to pay for a engine diagnostic, or pay for a battery, because they would not go further. I paid For a battery and nothing changes.Left the vehicle there and went home on the internet. Through my research, I pointed them toward the problem I thought it was.They checked that and found the problem. I still had to pay for the battery, but 900 dollars later, my car was running correctly. They had my car for about 1 or 2 weeks.I felt like they should have continued working on the car without me purchasing a new battery.I also could understand where they were coming from too. They were very nice about it, and i would still take my vehicle there. Chris is a good gentleman. I got to meet him the second time I brought a vehicle in there.They are trying to run a honest business there, and I think they will succeed. I gave 5 stars, because they didnt just give up. They listen to the customer and checked on what I found out. They also fixed it too. Every business has a nightmare, and my car was one of them at the time. They kept me informed at all times. I also allowed them to keep my car, to work on it as they could.By the way, it is fixed, and it was fixed right.

You can always count on Myers automotive to be honest about their diagnostics. Just had a bumper inspection done they provided picturesand also took me into the shop to show me a couple of fluid leaks. I wont take my cars or work trucks anywhere else.
Went in to have car smoke tested for vacume leak and was told there was a “big” crack in the intake manifold. After hearing this I did the repair myself. After taking the old manifold off there was absolutely no cracks or holes anywhere on it. I took it to the exact shop and the mechanic who worked on it could not find the crack either after saying there was a “big” crack in it. So I took my car to someone I could trust and he found My egr valve had vacume leak. I physically saw the smoke coming from it too. I do not trust Myers automotive anymore and will not go back.

I called early Saturday morning to schedule an oil change the employee that answered the phone told me that they do not schedule oil changes and to just walk in and they would take care of me. I walked in about 10:30 and i was informed that they didnt have time to do my oil change because they were full for the day and they closed at 1. I would not recommend this new business because they do not seem to care about their potential customers!

Had them remove a nail from my tire last week at the andover location and 2 days later had a blowout on the same tire. Pick somewhere else for any automotive needs. I would have given less stars if I were able to.
Don’t go to this place!!!!! They will rob you blind and put on parts you don’t need!!! Will not likely get the diagnosis correct and fail at making it right to the customer, needless to say they put on all new parts worth over $1600 when it was $100 or less bill that should have happened . Just to hear them say well the other parts needed replaced too. Will never recommend or go back to this place. Couldn’t even offer to make a gesture to make both parties happy like refunding some of the labor cost at least

Today was the first time I had the pleasure to work with Myers Automotive. I was shocked when I dropped my vehicle off at 6:45am, 15 minuets before they opened and they opened their doors early to help me. I was surprised that their mechanic Don came to the front desk and explained everything that he was going to do to my truck. He answered every question I had. I advised Don that there was a rattle in the front end and he knew immediately what the problem was but assured me he would verify that was the issue and call before proceeding with the work. A few hours later the staff at Myers called and explained what the found. They also advised that the back breaks were worn down but still had ten thousand miles left on them. They left it up to me to wait or have them replace the breaks.Myers did not pressure me to get any of my repairs done. Their prices were very reasonable. If I would have had Eddy’s Toyota do they same work it would have been double what I paid today. Eddy’s Toyota has seen the last dollar out of my pocket!I will always trust Myers Automotive to work on my vehicles. I highly recommended them.
Admittedly i work here but ive worked for alot of shops and until now i would never have bragged on any of them. My co workers are very knowledgeable, we have the best diagnostician ive ever met. Youll leave knowing every detail about what problems your vehicle has as well as any future concerns to be on the lookout for.

Myers Automotive in Andover misdiagnosed my vehicle multiple times, charged me for a service I didn’t need, and tried to send me home with a car that was not actually fixed. Do not use them.
Extremely disappointed. Came in because I believed the radiator fan was failing. They called and advise that I had oil leaking all over the engine and that is what I was smelling. After they repaired that, the next morning it was over heating. I brought it back and they replaced the thermostat housing and thermostat but still said nothing was wrong with the fan. A few days later, it over heated yet again. This time I brought it to Quality Auto and low and behold, it was the radiator fan! I brought this to Jody’s attention and was promised a call back. After several attempts to reach him, I had to leave a note threatening to leave a bad review. He called the next morning but had no resolution and promised to call me back. It has been a week and no call. Either someone is incompetent or they are dishonest and stack their tickets. I expected a lot more from them.
Great customer service. They got my car done while I waited. Vacuumed my car and washed it. I will for sure be back and tell all my family and friends how good they are.

Boyfriend had an afternoon off and had a slow leak in one of his tires. I suggested Myers Auto. Sadly, it took over 2 hrs to patch a flat tire. His afternoon off was a total waste. Do not recommend taking your car here for a flat tire. The excuse was they were training someone new. Next time we will call around for time and pricing. Also, not to mention the fixed tire was left low on air along with the tire light on in the car.

I asked to have my AC checked because it was slow to cool by 5 minutes. I brought the car in for a free check on it. They said it was overcharged on freon. Without informing me they evacuated the system and recharged it and gave it back to me working. However, a few days later it started acting up again taking longer to cool now. So I took it in a second time, and they told me that I needed a new compressor and auxiliary fan. This turned out to be complete and utter lie, the truth, there was no freon left in the system even after they claimed to have recharged it. After adding some freon my compressor and aux fan immidiatley started working like normal again! They tried to give me a $1600 repair estimate to try to get it fixed. As a final remark I used AC gauges to check the systems pressures and they were all nominal. This place is crooked.

Ok, my wife has had great experiences through this shop, and she will continue to support this place.With that out of the way, for me personally this has been an absolute nightmare. Theyve taken 6 DAYS TO PUT TWO TIRES ON. Thats all theyre doing, two new tires. They told me it would take a day to get the tires in to the shop and swap them out. Nope. Every morning I call I get the same response, oh, weve got the tires in the shop and it should be done by this afternoon. Oh, well have it done first thing in the morning. This has continued for 6 DAYS. My inclination is they havent ordered the tires at all. This will absolutely be my first and last experience with this place. Ive been given the run around for a week, and the discount theyve offered for taking forever with my car and giving me the run around is insulting.
I walked in and waited on an oil change. They did a great job, quick, performed and inspection and gave recommendations. Will use them again.

Went in for a fix with an estimate at $300 and one day. That turned into several other need fixes and a$1200 bill. My vehicle kept getting bumped for other peoples and finally it was done. Not happy at all.
