This place is awesome! The staff was incredibly nice and the sweet treats are absolutely delightful. It isnt ice cream, it isnt like a snow cone. Its a super fine shaved, flavored ice. Snow cream has been improved. Most flavors are non-dairy and there are sugar free options as well. It is very light and isnt over-filling. Stop by for a tasty treat.

Second time I have been and I really like it!!! I got the Mexican candy in a small. It was a perfect size for me. Very refreshing flavors and fun environment to hang out.

Anderson doesnt have many dessert options, luckily this is the only one it needs. We were extremely impressed with how delicious this was! It tasted just like a fluffy icecream, with yummy toppings and great presentation. Very light, so you can definitely eat one all to yourself without feeling stuffed. No need to feel bad after or worry about crashing after. We had the smores and the polar affogatto, both were great! You cant go wrong with their menu.The owners were so nice to meet, and really love their dessert shop and their product. We will definitely be back!

Went tonight for the 1st time with my son for dessert. Great way to end our mommy/son date night!!!! We got the Reeses snow dessert and it was amazing!!! I cant believe that this is a cold dessert. The presentation was beautiful and the price was fair. We got the small for $7 and split it. Big enough for both of us after just eating dinner. Girl at the counter was very friendly. We cant wait to come back and try all the other flavors!!! Ive already told some of my friends as well 😊

VP is a great family-owned dessert shop that has a unique ambiance, wonderful service, and endless menu options. Theres something for everyone!Try the Strawberry Cheesecake or Coffee/Vanilla - theyre surprisingly light and creamy. Recommended!

This place is unique in the frozen dessert market. They are well decorated around the theme of the vampire penguin 🐧 and a few funny friends. The shaved ice is like packed snow not chunky ice. They have a large variety of flavor combinations, and you can build your own. Our whole family from age 6 to 60+ enjoyed the experience.

Softest snow treat I’ve ever had. It’s not too sweet, has refreshing flavors, and each bite feels like a cloud. I’m told from the owner (I assume who I spoke with, very courteous and hospitable btw) that his special process is creating the ice with the flavor before shaved into snow. I know it’s challenging to get the consistency but I think he got it right. I live in Greenville area but I’m definitely would come to anderson for this treat!!!

Mexican candy. My love for sweet and spicy runs deep. And this did not disappoint, as soon as I saw it on the menu I uncontrollably yelled it out. And it tasted exactly how I thought it would. Immaculate.

It’s not your average shaved ice. It is Amazing. Creamy, powdered ice with the flavor of your choice. You have to try it. It’s just different.we visited the Anderson location Friday April 2. The service was great. We will definitely be going back.

First time visitor! Staff was pleasant and we tried Mexican Candy and the Oreo Mint! Definitely will be back to try more.

Service is amazing. The dessert looks great and tastes great. The dessert is different from pelicans and not ice cream. Also, the dessert is a lot more healthier than other dessert(75 calories per snow).

What a unique dessert place! Not really ice cream, not really shaved ice; something in between. Very enjoyable. What I loved was it was vegan. I cant have dairy so the Vampire Penguin is the perfect place for me. My 14 year old niece is vegan; shes going to love it.I gave it 4 stars due to the high prices. They do give you a very nice sized portion, but a bit pricey.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and the treats looked exactly like the pictures which never happens so we look forward to more visits

Love love love the product! Its fancy shaved ice alright but a class above other shaved ice. Im trading in boba tea for a while for this dessert. A tad pricey but its oh-so-yummy!

IF YOU CLOSE DURING NORMAL HOURS PLEASE TAKE TIME TO POST ON WEB OR SOCAL MEDIA!!...In addition to my original post 5 days later I decided to give them another shot. Called a few minutes after 4 to be sure they where open (I was assured they were) showed up at 6 to find another hand written note stating closed to restock same as before.

I tried Vampire Penguin for the first time today and I must say, I think I’ve found a new addiction ❣️You won’t even believe it’s shaved ice !!! The small Twix was so delicious, I wanted to go back and get another before they closed for the night. The gentleman handed me a punch card with my delicious treat, and believe you, me I will be back !!!

Good customer service great food

Asked the guy at the register if the options are dairy free, he said yes as long as we don’t get whipped cream and/or condensed milk. Was very skeptical after tasting it, looked on the website for allergen information and the ingredients include nonfat milk. Lucky for them we don’t have anyone anaphylactic, but we do have people who cannot have dairy. Get to know your ingredients in YOUR products!

Tried Vampire Penguin for the very first time today! Customer service and desserts are excellent! You must try if you haven’t already.

I will say...the strawberry cheesecake was good...but I paid $11.50 for ONE because they charged me 1.50$ for a to-go box. I feel as this is bad customer service. One small Togo box for $1.50 because their truck didnt come. Thats not the customers fault.
