The first time we went to get an eye exam, they were fast to get us in and out. Ordering contacts and glasses were easy and they informed us of promotions happening to get a rebate back on my contacts. When we went back the second time, Warren Ramer was friendly and helpful and tightened my glasses, so they felt brand new! Wonderful customer service all around. Highly recommended.

Darryl Morris is a wonderful optometrist. He put both me and my son at ease and did a great job. We plan to use him for all future eye exams and concerns. He has a wealth of knowledge, is patient and kind and also very friendly. Great experience. Mim is a wonderful optician and very helpful with glasses.

First time patient trying to schedule a visit with the place and the woman taking appointments was not very helpful. She kept asking for a “vision card” and I kept telling her that I do not have a separate vision coverage and that it is lumped together with my health insurance. I then proceed to offer more information to give so that maybe she would see my coverage with my insurance company and she refused by saying, “Well no I’m about to close down, I’m “fixing” to go to lunch”. I then proceeded to tell her I’ll find another place and hung up. I’m sure the docs are great there but unfortunately I won’t be finding out for myself.

This was only my second pair of glasses, and the first pair was decades ago. I wasnt even sure what I needed or wanted. Mim Putnam helped me figure it out. She took time with me and answered all my questions. She showed me all the options and advised me on which features I needed and didnt need; I got the best pair of glasses for me without spending money on superfluous stuff. I was very pleased.

Dr. Morris is GREAT! I have one eye that during my 2nd pregnancy became better than it was but still needed some correction. The last optometrist I saw for about 15 years when correcting that eye, it was always blurry with glasses. The first time I saw Dr. Morris he knew exactly how to fix it and now when I wear my glasses I can see perfectly. My husband loves him as well as my middle daughter. The office staff is friendly and there is hardly any wait time.

This has been my eye care for3 years! The first 2 visits, office visit, and fitting my glasses were wonderful! This year has been a nightmare! My first visit, the Dr. just added + 2.50 to my glasses, after my eye test. So naturally, when I picked up my glasses, they were wrong! I was told I had to wear them and get adjusted to them. So naturally I lost it! Now, second visit, glasses were still wrong, after my 3rd visit and 3 months, im still waiting! If it wasnt for Elizabeth Dubose, I would have left my glasses, and found another eye dr! Elizabeth worked out my problem, with no hassle! You folks need to thank her! We will see how next year goes!

Be extremely wary of this place. They gave me a wrong prescription (way too weak) and then when I went back to ask them about it, the girl attendant checked my eyes and told me Well it seems like its good enough. Like what? I dont want good enough. A doctor didnt even see me the second time around despite waiting for 20 minutes. I went to a separate provider (Carolina Eye Care) and they gave me the correct prescription (which was very different than Family Visions). I usually dont write reviews but Family Vision cost me time, money, and a good bit of frustration. Everyone was nice but the overall experience was awful.

Today was my first visit to Family Vision. It was awesome, everyone was super nice. I will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Dr. Graves and his staff are simply amazing. They make you feel welcome, from the front door, to the eye exam, and even purchasing frames and contacts. Dr. Graves has a way of making children feel at ease also, because my 10 year old and nervous 17 year old love him. We have been with this practice for around 12 years. Superb care, great advice and a comfortable environment. Oh, and the front desk working with your insurance is awesome! So friendly and helpful, even when dealing with insurance!

Dr. Morris is excellent. He is very professional and friendly. He adjusted my contact lenses so that with them in I can see well both at a distance and close up. He knew exactly what to do to fix the issues I was having. I would highly recommend him.

Family Vision . excellent service .. great staff of courteous professionals...After having a routine eye exam they found that I had a.. torn retina....They immediately informed me of it and referred me to a specialist..and I had emergency surgery the following morning...I could have lost my eyesight.. Thanks,to there promptness..My vision was restored...In fact,brought my 74 yr old sister up here today for her check up...just found out that she needs ...cataract surgery...

My first review that I wrote about sitting and waiting for 25 minutes to pick up glasses was very much true and upsetting. I do appreciate Warren giving me a call to apologize about the situation. So I did change my rating to a 4 star rating from a 1 star. Thanks again Warren for calling to apologize.

I was calling around because I needed to see someone about issues I was having with my eyes and I did not have a current eye doctor. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and anything but caring. I got in touch with another eye doctor who saw me right away.

I truly enjoy every visit to this office. The whole staff is kind, funny, professional, and they know just about patient by name. Wonderful experience everytime I go.

The eye exam was the only thing that went right. Dr. Blaettler was great. A little hard to understand at times due to his accent. He was very thorough and professional. After the exam, they could not get my vision insurance correct. I had to explain it to several people before they could understand how to use it. Requires a simple phone call, per my insurance card. Even when paying I had to go over it again. Frustrating dealing with this when I had dilated eyes. Asked if a pair of frames could be ordered in a different color, I was told yes. The first visit to pick up my glasses found out they had the wrong color. It was not until the second visit that I found out the frame color was discontinued. The lenses came in twice without the proper coating. I settled on the wrong color frames since I did not want to make a third visit. New frames would require new lens, not wanting to go through all this again. I was so frustrated that I was about to walk out several times. This all took place over a 7 week period.

Been going here for over 25 years, wouldnt go anywhere else. Minimal wait times, pleasant staff and great selection of glasses.
