I am beyond satisfied with my experience at Ed Martin on Scatterfield. John Ramsey took his time in showing me the vehicle I purchased and was so knowledgeable and kind. Excellent experience. I feel like some of the issues discovered during the original estimate could have been predicted, however. I dont feel like this delayed any of the repairs. I had to call to get updates, which I would have preferred to have gotten without asking. Any time I did ask they were easy to work with and got me the information quickly. When I picked up my vehicle, it had been completely detailed inside and out, which was an AWESOME surprise. I think it was in better shape leaving this time than when I drove it off the lot after purchase! Well done.

Don’t buy a car from them you will spend an additional $1500 in repairs only having the car since Aug, they do false advertising on their vehicles and they will add an additional 4K on taxes as well. It is true what they say, selling damaged cars and having the customer spend more on repairs that’s how dealerships make their money. Hoping 80% of their vehicles break down.

We had an appointment for 9:00 am and they said it would take half a day to fix it. We called them at 4:00 pm and they told us they hadnt started on it yet. we needed the vehicle the next day and they didnt have a loaner, therefore I told them we would pick it up and schedule later. Once we got there to pick it up, the lady couldnt find the keys. She went to the back and they had already started on our car. they told us it would be done at 5:30. Then they called us at 4:45 and told us there was no way they would have it done that night. We went back inside and talked to the service manager. The service rep we were working with told the manager that the service tech had gotten the vehicle at 2:00pm and she had called enterprise to try and get us a rental at 2:30pm. So she either lied to us at 4:00pm when she told us they hadnt started or lied to him. The hole experience was unprofessional and I wont take any of my vehicles to an Ed Martin for service or buy one from them.

I wasnt there on 9/10/21 like your email says. I was there on 9/1/21 at 10:30 for an appointment. When I made the appointment, I made them aware I needed the car the next day and would be out of town all weekend. I reminded them when I got there. They said it would not be a problem. When I hadnt heard anything by late afternoon, I called and was told my vehicle had not even been looked at yet, and they would probably get to it the next day. I reminded them of my medical appointment and asked for a loaner. I was told no loaners available, I could pick up my Tahoe and shed reschedule for Friday 9/3 at 8 am. I picked it up. Since I was leaving Friday for an out of state trip, I did not bring it back. It was supposed to be fixed before my trip! This happened last summer on my last repair job, so its the second time Ive had to leave my car there when it was supposed to be done. The last time it ended up being two extra nights, the second if which I was finally provided a loaner. Ive had the repairs done somewhere else - in on time, out in time - with no problem.EDIT: The dealership reached out to me by phone the same day as this review was submitted. They have offered me a free oil change and car wash in way of an apology. Since Ive never had a problem with any actual services theyve done, I will happily take them up on it when the mileage is due. Sincerely hoping they will get me in/out within a reasonable time frame, as that has been my only complaint.

Found a good deal on a Certified Used Chevrolet that was low miles, clean, looks great and runs well. Prices at Ed Martin seem to be more competitive than other local GM dealers. Well worth your time to stop here if you need a new vehicle.

Service appt. was made 2 weeks in advance for a whistle sound when using the heat.12 days, initially (first 4 days) communication was terrible.Never once heard from a service manager, only repeated calls from the advisor (which initially provided conflicting info, but week 2 she was very informative).

Purchased a $80k truck. It has 4k miles on it now and has left me stranded on the side of the road. I call Ed Martin service to get it in as it is a company vehicle and needed for work. They tell me they cannot get to the vehicle until next week which is understandable, but I need a vehicle to drive in the mean time. They inform me that they only have loaner vehicles for cadillacs and that is it. I speak with the general manager Clay who confirms that information and says he has no solution and not willing to help. Keep in mind this is after the service advisor was rude about not purchasing the vehicle from us. We have purchased numerous vehicles from here in the past and this type of service insures we wont return

Traveled here from Lexington KY after communicating with salesman for over a week. Had many questions that were not really told the complete truth by the salesman, and a few things about the car that were not disclosed despite asking very specific questions. I was not happy about a few things with the car but they did address the items and take care of them immediately. Just wish they had been more honest about the items up front. I had already arranged financing, borrowed a trailer, and drove 3 hours to get the car. Also it was such a good deal for what I got, I still bought the car. Again, they did take care of the few items that had me concerned so overall not too bad. I was in and out of the office signing the transfer paper, etc. In less than 15 minutes. I hope this turns out to be a good purchase...the car is an absolute monster!

Considering all the issues that we had from the beginning on our 2018 GMC Denali till now, The service department has been great and done the best they could possibly do for us and its very much appreciated, It has just been a headache giving the vehicle back and forth like we had to do because i paid 2 months of a payment and had my vehicle maybe 2 weeks tops from all of it . Talk about bait and switch times 2! I spoke with a salesman about two different vehicles I was interested in and made an appointment for the next morning. When I got there neither vehicle was available, nor did he know when or if they would be. He then tried to show me a model that had none of the features I need. This may not be common place for this dealership but one bad apple spoils the basket. BUYER BEWARE.

I came in for a quick oil change, tire rotation and free car wash. I was in/out quickly. I inquired about brakes and had it scheduled for 02/15. It was cancelled due to inclement weather. I purchased my vehicle at Ed Martin, and have had all the service on my Equinox done by the service department. I live in Jonesboro Indiana (5 minutes from Mike Anderson Chevy) but stayed loyal to Ed Martin. The commute is about 35-40 minutes but I never minded that. On 10/12/20 I was advised my front brakes was 3 mm and my rear brakes was 2 mm. Fast forwarding to 02/08/21 my front brakes was 5 mm and my rear brakes was 2 mm. Suddenly my front brakes got better and was never serviced. I believe my front brakes is bad, and rear brakes are bad too, but I need a second opinion. Front brakes use 65-90% of your brakes and its unusual for rear brakes to go bad first. I believe I can hear the front brakes making a rubbing sound. Now I have a little trust issue with the service department.

They scheduled an appointment for us to look at a vehicle for my son. He took off work early to make it to the appointment. They also said they were holding the vehicle for us to look at. Needless to say after getting off work early and driving from Muncie for our appointment, we were told the vehicle was already sold! Will definitely NOT be using them again or referring anyone else to them!*Good news is my son found a better deal at Stoops anyway and bought the truck that day!

So took my vehicle in for new brake pads and rotors which they wouldnt turn the rotors they just wanted to put new ones on which of course cost more. Then they said I needed a new wheel bearing on the drivers side I was okay with that because there was a grinding sound. So all that cost me about a thousand dollars. So they call me and tell me its done. I go to pick it up pay for it get in the vehicle they had the drivers side window down try and put it up and it wouldnt go up. And there is a part just laying in the drivers seat not sure what it is but it looks like a fuse.So at this point the window wont go up the power locks wont work and the radio wont turn on. Now all these things worked when I brought it in. So they rescheduled me a few days later and said it needed a new master switch for the window and power locks and they had to do something to the computer to get the radio on. And they charged me another 460.00 dollars. Wow for a vehicle that just needed a brake job and a wheel bearing replacement it cost me almost 1500.00 dollars. They got me once but never again. Beware!!

We purchased a beautiful Chevy truck yesterday and got to work with Bryce which was amazing! There was another salesman, not sure his name but, was rude and didn’t want to work with us for the fact we didn’t “LOOK” like the type going to buy a vehicle. He explained he was busy at 3pm so he couldn’t help us! It was 1:30pm when we walked in, by the way!! Bryce said he had someone coming in at 2pm but he could gladly help us out which in turn we paid CASH for a brand new truck, thanks again Bryce!! BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I originally went to Ed Martin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram right next door to the Chevy place to look at a vehicle we saw online. Did not like the one we went to look at. So we asked our salesman if we could by any chance look at another one we saw in the adjoining lot from the Chevy place. He was super nice and GREAT and said sure. He goes and picks it up for us and we love it. We bought the vehicle of course as is. Come home and not even 24 hrs later the check engine light comes on. NOT EVEN HAD THE VEHICLE 24 HRS!!! Called our salesman that day and told him. He calls back on Monday and said he talked to the manager next door and to call their service department and they would fix it and give me a big discount. Ok great I appreciate it. Called the service department she quotes $445. I ask is that with the big discount? She says no I have to talk to my manager and get back to you. SHE NEVER CALLED BACK! A week later I now have taken it to a private mechanic to see about fixing it! They dont look over their used vehicles they resell at all! And come to find out the CD player was also broken! Horrible dealership!!! My father was going to go there to maybe purchase a vehicle as well but not now and not ever!!! Also needed all brand new tires at an extra expense of $500. This is the shadiest dealership ever!UPDATE: Still the worst place ever. They said they fixed it. They LIED! Engine light still on and throwing the same code they said they fixed. Nothing but lies and shoddy work! Seriously dont buy from them. Nothing but trouble!!!!

We were traveling from Michigan to Florida and our check engine light came on. We called and Mr. Dowling in your service dept. said to come in and hed do a diagnostic check. He did so, showed our water reservoir was low and under the hood it was up to the line. He reset the code and we were back on our way. Thanks for taking good care of us.

Bought a 2002 VW paid if off all service was 100% . Then got a Malibu 2017 then traded it in with another car kept the Malibu sold by Oggie an as well as the VW wagon. During the snow storm recently our vehicle hit a huge pothole. Seatbelt retention retractors retracted and the airbag lights came on. We called our Insurance agent and they told us to take it in to have it fixed and a safety check done on it. We bought it from Ed Martin and wanted it maintained there. We had it towed in and was supposed to get a call with the details or the damage. after three days I got a txt saying thank you for using Ed Martin for your service needs. Let us know if you need anything else.. I took that as it was done. I went up to the Dealership and was asked why I was there. I explained I was there to get my vehicle since i got the Txt. They said they were still waiting on the parts. Another 3 days go by and we get another txt saying the same thing. I called them at 5:45pm and was told that the car was ready. But since we lived too far to get there by 6 that I would have to wait until tomorrow morning. Didnt we get the txt. We did but it was at 5:40pm .. 5 mins before. due to the weather we only have that one vehicle for transportation and had to call off another day on my second job .. We never received one call from them during the whole ordeal. To me it was rude and aggravating .. this is not our first issue with Ed Martin and their service center. We may buy our next car elsewhere.

There was people not wearing masks in the waiting area. I have lots of health problems so I got up and walked up into the showroom area and every single employee did not have a mask on in that area. Thank God for Tiffany who came outside and got me a chair to sit in the area where they pull a Vehicles into the garage so that I wouldnt have to freeze to death to stay away from the employees and customers that did not have masks on.
