Purchased a living room suit in November, was delivered. 3/4 days later it was discovered one of the recliners was broke. Call the store, was told they were backed up on repairs due to Covid. Now 3 months later still no contact from anyone, unless I call to follow up. I believe they have no intention on fixing it. Would not recommend them. Poor customer service, apparently poor quality furniture.
If I could give less I would. Cheap, CHEAP, cheap furniture sold at a ridiculous cost. I regret giving them my business. I highly recommend not to buy from here. The customer service is super poor and the way they do business is just all around sad. This place is a joke.
Good morning! I contact you (I am assuming home office) a few back regarding some purchased furniture from the Anderson location. I purchased in November, what was delivered was broken. Contacted the store. I was told due to Covid they were backed up, I was very patient. I called often to inquire about it being fixed or replaced, was told the same story again. Finally contacted you guys 2 weeks ago and the manager finally called and stated they would replace the furniture. The delivery driver called in route and stated that he was alone, could we assist him bring the furniture in, we figured we had no other option but to assist. The replacement couch he brought was broken as well. He spent hours at my house attempting to fix the recliner on the couch, then told us he would let the manager know. He then return the next week to attempt to fix it yet again. He then told us the manager was going to order another couch, for us to call the following week, we did and of course same as before the manager will call you back, she has not returned call and seems to be avoiding us again. I am sorry to go above her head but it seems like she is problem at the store. Can you please tell me if the now broken couch that has been cut (the recliner cord) and reattached by the delivery driver will be fixed? I have now made 5 payments on broken furniture!

After going to several other locations for quality furniture, I happen to stop at this location and found some pretty awesome furniture pieces. I was able to purchase a King bedroom set, dinette set with the lazy Susan, and a living room set with the help of Rose. She was efficient and helpful. She allowed me to shop without the hassle of asking a bunch a questions other than asking me what I initially wanted to look at. They have some good sales going on. I definitely will come back to this location. One thing that stood out from the other stores was that they offered different colors of furniture instead the dreary gray theme that other stores had.
I m one happy satisfied customer. I came in looking for a entertainment center and couch for my new house. This beautiful woman named Schyler was so helpful answered all my questions and got me exactly what I wanted. She went over and beyond to make sure I left happy. I wish I could give zero stars! The whole experience with them has been terrible. I will NOT ever buy any furniture from them again!! Cheaply made furniture that starts to fall apart a few months after u get it. Ive already had to return 1 item cause I was sick of their run around and them wasting my time. Now I have another piece of furniture that needs repaired and have called them to do so. Was told I would get a call when they were able to.... that was a month ago and it still hasnt been repaired!! Getting sick of dealing with them and look forward to never having to again! Run away and go to big lots! U get the same quality of furniture there for half the price.
Purchased a bedroom set and received a piece that was not only damaged and missing pieces but was a FLOOR MODEL. 3 weeks later, and I still have the floor model and not the brand new piece I purchased. Corporate was contacted because we are sick and tired of being given the run around. Hopefully something is done. My entire family has been loyal customers to Famers Furniture store in both Sumter SC and Anderson SC for years and this is the first time we have had such poor service. Very unacceptable.
Thanks to everyone at Farmers Furniture in Anderson, SC. My brother & I went shopping for furniture for his new place & we found everything we needed, not only did we have great service but feel we got a very good product of furniture too. After I got my brothers new place fixed up I when back & got myself new stuff too. Now both of our homes look amazing. Thanks ( Phillip, Dean & Tina ) So if you are ever in need of new furniture please be sure to look at Farmers first, Im sure you will be pleased.
We went to Farmers in Anderson Saturday and bought a king bed king mattress, a bunk bed and the mattresses for it. We did get a decent deal for all that and we paid cash for it all. They told us they would be able to bring the beds on Thursday. Well today is Thursday and we get a call saying it will be Tuesday of next week now! We already moved everything out if the rooms and now our kids have to sleep on the couch for 5 nights and we have to sleep on the floor of our room for 5 nights. We are not happy about this.
They were terrible didnt have all the furniture set as promised 4 different times they gave a date and finally when the table came it was damage on that 3rd try on the 4th try it wasnt put together we just took it and told them there service stinks. I will never I mean never do business with them again I would rather go to a junkyard, they dont deserve 1 star but thats the lowest I can go

Worst customer service ever had a couch that was damaged upon delivery said they were going to repair it even though I paid for a new one finally after 2 weeks of no repair they told me they were going to replace it. Give me a time they were going to drop off the new one and no one shows up or even calls to let me know theyre running late. Trying to get my money back now and telling me the check has to come from corporate
Please see my letter to their Coorporate office:My name is Tawana Teasley. I purchased a connecting sofa, swivel chair, and an ottoman August 4, 2018 from the Anderson South Carolina store. ( Please keep in mind that I do not have any children in my house so no one was playing on the furniture)Within approximately a few months the wheels on the Swivel Chair fell off. Weeks went by and the store finally contacted us to inform us that the store manager would be out to look at the furniture. Approximately 2 weeks later they (the store) ordered a new wheel for the Swivel Chair which did not work. Two people attempted to fix the furniture piece without success. My opinion would be to just replace the item. They refuse to do so. At this time we decided to return the Swivel Chair and the store remove the piece of furniture from my bill. They had to remove all charges and had to close out my account. Next they had to create another new account. Now a closed account is showing on my credit.Within 2months (Feb 15, 2019) the ottoman leg fell off. We contacted the store and they informed us that they would call us back to set up an appointment for someone to look at the Ottoman. About 3 weeks went by and we had not heard from anyone. So, we decided to take the broken Ottoman back to the store personally. At this time the manger replied he had ordered parts for the Ottoman. This was strange because no one came out in person to inspect the broken item. Long story short they gave us a new Ottoman 2/15/19.The value of the furniture that I have purchased is poor. The only piece of furniture that has been of value is the couch. I am very worried that the couch will fall apart. But so far it has been great.In conclusion I have not received good nor exceptional customer service. I will never do business nor recommend your company to anyone due to my experience. I am at the point that I would like to return all the furniture due to how I was treated. Why sale a product that does not hold up. I should have known not to trust a company that does not send out monthly statements nor can you pay your bill online. It is unacceptable that a company has money to send out flyers, and if you are late they will send a reminder. My husband whos credit was in the low 500s (due to his mother ruining his credit) was approved here. They all have been very nice to us and we have been with them for about a year now. ALL furniture is marker up to about 200%. You pay way too much at any furniture store and all brands. We went ahead and got a couch through here. The payments we pay every month are very affordable and during some job adjustments, they have worked with my husband. Even the store managers have been very nice and helpful. We have NEVER had an issue with them. To also note that just because someone may be a bad apple in the group doesnt mean they all are bad apples. Shop around if you dont feel right about prices. Some stores offer somewhat better deals or discounts and some mark up to the full amount. Although EVERY furniture store is already marked up and over priced, even when its on a Clearence or sale. Kimbrells has horrible mark ups, Ashleys, Rooms-to-go as well. Its everywhere! Do your homework. Sorry to those who had a bad experience. We have never ran into issues with them.
Will never go to this sad place again the manager is very rude Katie is rude they do not put anything in the computers manager told me one thing than they call today and I get told me something other. But paid my stuff off and will never go back

I have read some really bad reviews on Farmers not sure if it was the Anderson, SC store so I wanted to write my experience so far. My wife and I shopped around for a sofa and recliner. We had no credit, not bad credit. NO credit. We couldnt get aproved anywhere. We were NOT going to a rent to own place. We did not know of Farmers so we gave it a try. We got a really nice sofa with a 2 year warranty at a great price. We also got a name brand recliner at a great price. The recliner was made for bigger people to accomadate my height. We were at the store during a promotion and got an additional 20% off our total. If you pay off your furniture within 1 year it is interest free. They said they would report to the credit bureau monthly to help me build credit and they have done so every month now for 5 months. Something in my sofa broke about 4 months in. I called and they informed me that it was under a 2 year warranty and I actually have an appointment for the company to come and either fix or replace the sofa tomorrow. I have no complaints with this company thus far. They have done everything they said they would do.Alot of the bad reviews I read about Farmers furniture were saying that they call you all the time when you are late on your payment. Well what do you expect? Pay the bill on time. That is what is expected of you. They offer plenty of insurance that covers you in case you become disabled or lose your job. I have not been late on any of my payments but, I am sure from the employess that I met. If I called them and informed them that for whatever reason I was going to be late on my payment and gave them a date when they could expect payment that they would be understanding and would not call and bug me everyday. Thank you Farmers Home Furniture for giving us a chance to establish some credit and for offering us good quality furniture at a fair price. -Walt

Ordered a whole living room set, and when I went to pick it up only half of it was there. They tell me to come back for the rest the next day, then when I get there its still not there an was told it wasnt even ordered. Will never use these guys again
