They have excellent prices and a decent selection for keeping my boat up and running. They also helped me out in a pinch with a wet exhaust hose that is very difficult to find. I typically go here first before heading to West Marine or ordering online.

I went in here looking for a dipnet and wasn’t sure what to get since this is my first year dip netting. The young man at the front counter was friendly and pointed me to where the dipnets were.After spending some time looking at the different options and while sales staff was milling about me without asking me if I need help, I finally went to the back counter and asked a lathargic middle aged man for some help. He seemed to get a chuckle from the fact that this was my first year dipnetting and then a young sales associate who was standing by the counter, made a feeble attempt to help me by saying he has no experience dipnetting the Chitina River, and so that was pretty much the end of our conversation.I ended up leaving and going to B&J Sporting Goods at 113 W. Northern Lights Blvd. I found what I was looking for with help from a friendly sales person who was very knowledgeable about dipnetting
