I am in my mid twenties, and I have been smoking for 8 years. The reason I mention my age is because us youngns know our quality kush, and House of Green has THE highest quality green in the entirety of Anchorage, if not all of Alaska. I have been coming to this establishment for over 3 years now. I have tried many other places, just about all the shops in anchorage and the valley, and no one outgrows the House of Green. If you are looking for the next level, or simply looking to give a gift to a smoker, you won’t find a better dispensary. Thank me later

Driving down Minnesota Drive, a green house caught my eye and it turned out to be the House of Green! They have two parking areas, are wheelchair accessible, and have such beautiful outside flowers that are very welcoming. Nice clean shop with awesome staff. I felt a happy vibe from them the entire time I was there. Drazen gave me great recommendations and he really knew his cannabis. They have a lot of choices and I picked up six of their in-house strains grown by BAM Alaska. Check out their website, it is well built and easy to navigate. I love this shop. Its my new fav. The owner is so friendly. In fact every worker is nice my fav is john and veronica. They have the BEST Yes I said BEST BUD and BEST PRICES.THE QUAILITY.... My buddy told me to check this place out. As usual, I check the online menu first to see what they have. To my surprise, their page has detailed strain information. Most do, but this one is more detailed. The bud tender was snobby, that’s why the loss of a star. The container that came with the 1/8th surprised me. I’m used to the plastic tubes, nice to see a glass one. The bud is beautiful! Sticky, nuggy, stinky. I’ll definitely be going back.

This is by far my favorite Dispensary in Anchorage. The Flower is always top quality (BAM are top notch cultivators)and they have a variety of products for every consumer. The Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell. Overall the Best Dispensary.

This place is definitely in the running for the best shop in town, I can’t say it’s the best because I have not been to ALL the shops but I’ve been to at least a dozen and this place... Well let’s just say from a consistently stand point hands down yes the best. I promise you will not be let down! There buds are dense and have amazing flavor.They have a house strain (BAM) that will never let you down. (Must have an amazing grower!) I try to go between different growers as I believe you build a tolerance, this can go for shop purposes too. Sometimes you have to explore. I.... have found and purchased the strongest weed I have ever smoked at this shop right here. They constantly keep a supply of very strong strains available. You ever needed to smoke after a flight? Lucky you! The house of green is located very close to the airport and are open til midnight!Local Secret: Gas Monkey is my favorite and apparently all of anchorage as well because it sells out in a single day.....

This beautiful lime green ranch style shop is impossible to miss when you’re headed north on Minnesota drive. There is plenty of parking in front and back and the parking lot and shop is always very clean and brightly lit.The product quality is always fantastic. Their in-house strains are worth the somewhat expensive price tag. Their concentrates are usually reasonable priced and in a large selection. I do recommended their 420 survival kit to try their in house strains, it’s worth the money and adorably packaged.The men in the shop are typically friendly and helpful but the women are usually rude and unhelpful (see also: snobby) which can be pretty off putting. Their fun “pick one” tip jars are super fun and their reward system takes a little while to add up but it’s super rewarding when you do! (20% off)

Prices are best in town on cartridges, flower and concentrates - they’re a second year - defending champion of the Hybrid Cannabis Cup, and their in house flower is all >20%, 25% is commonplace.I love their ‘six pack’ of pre rolls. A ½ dozen of their special flower and rolled from slower. Easy to tell as smoking one is a four or five session deal with one or with two - at least twice if not three times per preroll!
