These people are mediocre… I brought them one of my projects and they simply told me that they would not do the job for me… as a client I am supposed to be treated at the right level… !! Never return to this site or any of my friends ...

I was owed some money and was given a Smith & Wesson 40 cal for payment. This pistol looked like it had been dragged down the street and through the mud behind a car. I took it in just looking for a set of grips. After talking with the gunsmith I was assured that he could make it look like new. I had my doughts if he could do too much with it, but he couldnt make it any worse. I came back the next day and he said that it was ready to go. He handed it to me and I was speechless. The pistol looked brand new, and he found a set of grips for it. I have shown the pistol to a few friends and told the story about how I got it and the condition. They cant believe that this is the same pistol. Great job, quick service and at a reasonable price. Wish I could post a pic.

Great customer service. Still learning and the owner, Jim, took the time to demonstrate and show me exactly what I needed to know, answering all my questions. He even conditioned the leather for me on the chest holster I purchased. The staff are a wealth of knowledge.

Brought my galil to them for a round stick in chamber they got it out took it back to range few days later unfortunately it did it again they took it as warranty no cost repair and are figuring the issue and apologized more than was needed but they took what happened very polite and professional and will gladly keep doing business with them

I was very impressed by the work they did on my .243, it was very rusty from hunting in wet conditions. They re-blued the barrel, scraped off every speck of rust, and lubricated it. Cost was very reasonable, craftsmanship good, and they were great to work with.

Have been to this store multiple times hoping for a different outcome, but that has not been the case. Unsatisfactory Customer service to say the least. They do great work from what Ive seen and heard however they will never see a dime of my money if they cant treat customers properly! Wont even waste the gas to go there anymore!

Despite all the negative reviews, I decided to check this place out while looking for a particular firearm. I called them to see if they had the firearm i was looking for, which they did, i asked for a price and was denied because they will not tell you over the phone (probably because of there outrageous mark ups would just discourage people to come into their shop) however the lady over the phone said i would have to come in to see the price and they could maybe work out a deal. With that being said i assume that they are high but negotiable, i head over to the shop. I see the prices of most of their firearms and notice they were all marked up about 25 to 30% of what everyone else is selling. I told them the same firearm was selling for X amount at the shop down the road and they did not hesitate to price match it. I purchased the firearm and out of all the the places i have been to this was the smoothest transaction i have made for a firearm, it was quick and easy and was out in a matter of minuets.Staff was friendly for the most part i had no major issues with them.Ammo prices are High here, not sure if thos are negotiable.If you do come here do not be discouraged by the high firearm prices they are negotiable from what i can gather. Just shop around as you normally would and know what the firearm is worth dont let them sell you something way overpriced, if you pay their tag price you are paying way to much!I give it a 3 star because i disagree with the high prices set in place to catch people who dont know any better off guard.and the staff is impersonal and that bugs me a bit.

Jim seems to be a alright sort of guy, the crew in the back know their stuff, sales staff is stiff and lacking personality, but your biggest draw-back, and what cost you a perfect score, is that idiot Ken. Ive never seen anyone as self absorbed as him. He thinks that hes the be all- end all, but the truth is hes pushy, mouthy, a**hole. If you need to make cut backs, cut Ken, youd be surprised at how fast things would improve.

Horrible customer service, whether by phone or in person at the store.I called in today, 9-11-2013, and spoke to a girl at Wild West Guns. No helpful offerings of any sort that youd expect from an intelligent, customer service oriented person were given at any point in my 15 second conversation with this girl on the phone.Prior to this, several months ago, I entered Wild West Guns to purchase ammo and a laser grip for my wifes LCP 9. The owner was present, as were several other employees behind the counter. The owner was too busy to acknowledge anyone entering the store that he didnt know personally and the employees lacked the same friendly manner whether they were busy or not. There was no greeting upon entering this small shop, and I had to butt in on a conversation between 3 employees and a customer just to get the ammo I needed (they didnt have the laser grip at the time). After I purchased my ammo, I noticed a reduced price on a .223 they had on the wall and after I mentioned it to one of the sales people, she took it down and mentioned that shes going to buy it for her husband. Never mind that I might be interested in purchasing it, she just snatched it up because it was a great deal. Awesome.This store will never get my business. My thousands will go to Sportsmans Warehouse, Ammo King, and anywhere else I can find in town.

I heard about this place form a tv show. Went in just to check it out. They have good prices and the workers were happy to give me information about plenty of guns.

Had a S&W 500 jam up at the range today. I called in and spoke with Jim about how what to do and how to get the gun to them safely. Jim gave clear and excellent instructions. Brian ended up taking the gun and in 15 minutes or less had my jam cleared and the problem diagnosed. I will be taking the gun back next week to be sent to Smith and Wesson for repairs. Thank you both very much. I will be back.

Jim West is a total douche! I was once looking at a rifle of theirs at the Sportsmans Show. It had been in my hands all of 10 seconds when he asked if I was going to buy it or just fondle it. To answer your question, Jim, I will NEVER buy from you nor recommend your arrogant shop to anyone.

I met Jim at the SCI Show in Las Vegas. I decided to have him build me one of their Summit lite Rifles in 300RUM. This gun is unbelievable. I topped it with a Swarovski Z6 3-18 and the gun puts shots on a paper plate at 1000+ yards with myself behind the rifle. Let me tell you, I am no bench-rest shooter just an avid hunter. Rude on phone when calling about suppressors. The employee on the other end wanted to tell me which suppressor I should get even though I was looking for something specific.My money will be spent somewhere else.

I turned in a 1911 to get refinished and have them look into a failure to eject issue. After a month long wait with no update, I called and was inform my pistol was next in line. 2 weeks later and I haven’t heard from wwg; I called again and was informed that the pistol was completed. I go to pick it up and it looked exactly like it did when I dropped it off. No new finish and they said that it did not have any malfunctions. Rude staff. Poor customer service and to add insult to injury, one of the guys at the counter just had to crack a joke about my branch of service. Thanks WWG.

Went there to buy a Glock 43, which the owner showed me.Another salesmen interrupted and insisted I need to buy a Smith and Wesson shield.I left and bought the Glock I wanted somewhere else, for more money.Should have just left Jim sell me the Glock.Jim doesn’t need “salesmen” who not only don’t sell guns, but un-sell guns that would have sold themselves.

Prices arent great and customer service is non-existent. Had a pistol slide bead blasted and they didnt even put the sights back on straight. Avoid this place like a disease.

Horrible customer service and dishonest business practices.I walked in and wasnt greeted, but instead had to introcduce myself to the 2 employees staring into their computers. I said I had a Glock 34 with Heinie sights that I would like installed. (A 5 minute job wth the right tools) and the girl said it would take 3-4 days. I reluctantly agreed to waiting the 3-4 days despite multiple able-bodied employees sitting on their thumbs rather than help me. She took the gun, gave me a receipt and said it would be done next week. I looked at the paper and saw a bill for $60! When I questioned her about the ludacris price for a 5 minute, non-technical job she said that times are tough.Its hard to believe that someone with a tv show would say that, let alone take my money for undeserving work. I quickly asked for my pistol back and said I would take my business elsewhere. They scoffed as if I didnt deserve their work anyway. They should be ashamed of their customer support and representation of the firearm community. I felt that if they belittle a respective vet, and a competitive shooter, how would they make a person new to the community feel?Please dont support business like this, and go somewhwre like MatSu Tactical in Wasilla, AK.

Over priced and poor customer service it might be different if you go there to bs all the time but if you walk in and tell them what you want or need done tell try to tell you a lode of bs if your a Smith shop you can do a lot like cut custom rings rather then say you cant do that ext... and wen you want a Kimber 1911 you want a kimber not a cold even if it is a gold match you arent there to be sold something else your there to order your gun of choice kinda like a Remington sendero in 300rum go head and ask see if they laugh or look at you like ya right ... they did me but hay Im just an average guy with fine test in my toys hope you are like minded and like this if it helps or you hot texted like a jacka $$ to by them. They took a dive right after they left their old location near Mr Prime Beef. Ken has been a bully and rude for years. Never met the owner. I can say they messed up my kimber 1911 back in 2001 so badly it looked like a beaver gnawed on the rear sight. FYI Ken also use to work security at Aces games, remind him of that if he yells at you. I use the internet to order guns rather than support these tools

I dropped off a Steyr GB 9mm pistol that had a broken decocker, I had to show them how to disassemble the gun and show them what was broken. I had already searched the internet to find a new part but there are none available. One of the employees took the broken piece back to the gunsmith and came back and told me that they could make a new one for 100.00 dollars and I said to please repair it. I waited 1.5 months to call and got the owner Ken who had no idea what was going on and feed me a line of crap on the phone but said it was being worked on. So I waited nearly another 3 months and called, I got Ken on the phone again and like before he had no idea, after being put on hold Im sure long enough to come up with a story he tells me that his gunsmith is going to have to machine a new piece which we determined when I dropped it off. The very next day their gunsmith I believe Hans calls me and tells me my gun is ready to pick up. So the next day I go out to pick it up, an employee hands me the gun and a bill for 3 hundred dollars after telling Ken they told me one hundred Ken says his gunsmith had to spend a day machining me a new part. We setlled on 2 hundred and I took the gun. I disassembled it and found a modified part from some other gun that doesnt fit right or even look like it should be on the gun. This is the worst gunsmithing, customer service and arrogance Ive experienced. I also own a business and would be disgusted if this kind of work came out of my shop. Ill take my custom work to an elementary school shop class before Id go back to them.

One of the worst gun gun shops I have ever been too. The staff tried to con me into buying an overpriced .44 mag. They were very pushy and did not have any patience. zero customer service and very rude. I would not recommend this place to any one.

Prices are almost as high as their egos. Id rather support Walmart.
