Staff is nice, selection seems good on a lot of things, prices....well theyre high. Very high in fact. I once saw something there that was pawned, but they were asking more than I could order it online for brand new. Not kidding. I have bought one thing there, and they came down a bit, but it still wasnt what Id call pawn shop pricing. Overall a good place, just too expensive a lot of the time.

Like the last reviewer said. Negotiable prices, great service, locally owned. This is THE place to go for tools. If someone pawns a toolbox full of tools, you dont have to buy the whole thing because they have everything separated for you. Need just one socket without paying for an entire set? This is the place.

I did not like the fact that we had a Star Wars special edition laptop to sell and theyd only give us $110 because it was windows 7. For whatever reason it was I was being told by them it was a windows 7 but when I bought it I swear it was windows 10 like damn I even brought the box where it came in only used twice for Skype and they still didnt want to give us more than $110? They obviously dont know how much stuff is actually worth. It would be awesome to have the extra money but Im not desperate either. I hated this experience. Dont want to go back in where some lady is just mad dogging me and some guy trying to rip me off.

Good prices on tools. Even though they couldn’t take my laptops they were very nice and helpful.

I have shopped here for many years.Ron and his wife are great people.If you need a specific tool or gun you will find a clean and fair price here.They dont pawn or loan on junk.They dont buy suspicious stuff from unsavory individuals.Also remember that if you buy a gun or tool here it is much safer than say craigs list because all items are required to be reported to APD to see if they were reported stolen.Dont expect to find a 500 dollar thing here priced for 50 bucks.They know what things are worth.For those deals go to cash America,formally cash Alaska.they only hire children to run there counter and sales.One of the last real pawn brokers left in this state.

Best pawn shop in all of Alaska. The staff are always very helpful and professional. I have made multpile transactions with them, never any problem.

Owner stuck up and turned my goods away. Went down road to Cash America and there they were friendly and bought some goods.

Always have something new and dont mind if you just come to chat/see the dogs.
