Alaska International Groceries is a real treasure. Felicia was so kind and helped me find all the ingredients I needed for some south Indian recipes. The store is wonderfully stoked with a wide variety of foods, spices, frozen fruit and other items I havent been able to find anywhere else in Alaska. My only regret is that I did not find this place sooner. I cannot recommend Alaska International Groceries and their incredible customer service enough. This place is a true gem! I will be back soon :)

Excellent selection of spices, among other goods. I went in hoping to find chaat masala, and he had not one but three different brands! Great prices on loose-leaf tea, too. Google maps took me on a weird route there, but the easiest is too head west on international from C. You can turn right into the parking lot and then head north.

This is a family owned business and every time I step foot in there, I am treated as if I am family. The owner sits and talks with me each time I go in and genuinely likes to know how each customer is. I will continue to go to this store.

A Little HArd to Find, But We Are Glad We Did Find it! They have a Lot of different spices and Vegan items that I had not seen Before. i took a chance and tried a few things. I would Certainly go back, recommend going there to a friend and Will return Next Week.

Seems to be a cross between an African and Middle-Eastern Market (with a hint of Indian spices). The staff were very friendly, and made sure to give us a discount, but sadly for the most part they stocked things we didnt need.
