I wanted something special for our 30th wedding anniversary and chose to purchase a mothers ring (a ring containing each of our childrens birthstones, along with my wifes). Living over 300 miles from the nearest jewelry store, I turned to the internet but quickly realized I wanted a custom ring. I researched top jewelers in the Anchorage area and chose Giamante based on customer reviews - coupled with their quick response to my initial inquiries. Debi was great to work with and managed to patiently piece together the various photos and descriptions I provided - creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art. She took the time to send me individual photos showing me the actual stone placements in varying order, as well as photos for scale, to create the perfect ring. In the end, my wife is in love with the ring (and even more so with me), as she has received numerous compliments on its beauty. Needed a prong tightened on my wedding ring and did a Google search. Website advertised repairs so I called to confirm. Asked the man who answered if they did in-house repairs and he mumbled something that sounded like “no” so I repeated “no?” And he very curtly said “no- we send it out....to CHINA”. Click. Wow, so disappointing for a local shop that I would have loved to do business with.

I have been going to Giamante and working with Debi and Joseph for several years. They have always done exceptional work for me creating a new setting for my engagement stone with two side stones a couple years back. I ordered a necklace for my son for his 16th Bday during the pandemic. Despite my order being sterling silver, I received attention as if I had ordered platinums and diamonds. Joseph and his wife went out of the way to help me coordinate a custom necklace and I could not be happier! The customer service was fantastic!

I highly recommend Giamante! They repaired one ring and resized another. The resize was not easy as a Mabe pearl was involved, and the repair was perfect. These were not even rings made by Giamante. Thank you to Giamante for your incredible handcrafted work on my wedding jewelry. Joseph took my great-grandmothers wedding ring and restyled it with a larger diamond. This old ring has new life and is STUNNING! He then took my grandmothers wedding band and reworked it so that it matches my engagement ring and looks like it is a matching wedding set. The whole set is so beautiful. I have people stop me all the time and ask me about my rings. It is very special to me that I can wear these family heirlooms and know that the metal and stones have integrity even though they are so old. Additionally, I had a necklace and earrings that were passed down from another family member. We think this set was over 100 years old. The jewels were loose and fragile. Debi restrung the necklace and then took the jewels from the old earrings and recreated the most beautiful and contemporary chandelier earrings for me! I then wore these on my wedding day and they looked spectacular! The set was old and no one in the family ever wore them anymore. Because of Giamante, we have a whole new set of jewelry that we can pass down to the next generation. Giamante is the premier jewelry store in Anchorage for a diamond. My fiancé designed a custom ring for me with them and it is spectacular! He wanted a special, unique ring and they can do whatever you want. He got to pick out THE diamond - and he is picky. Only the best - and that you cant get just anywhere. My ring draws a lot of attention, I get comments all of the time, and we couldnt have asked for better service. These two are amazing. Hands down.

I havent made a purchase, YET, but I can say after a couple of visits that Joseph and Debi are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. You can tell they invest a lot of effort into their work and business. Another thing I appreciate is that the showroom is simple and elegant with select jewelry on display. You wont find a lot of cheap clutter; this is a business that specializes in fine jewelry only. They can design and create custom jewelry, make repairs on your jewelry, or help you pick something from a renowned designer and order it in. For some of the designers, I was surprised to find that Giamante is the only provider in Anchorage. Giamante is worth visiting if youre in the market for custom or designer jewelry.

Incredible service! I just got engaged to a girl who LOVES geology (especially rocks), so getting the right engagement ring was extremely important to me. Joseph and Debi were incredibly friendly, didnt pressure me to make a quick decision, nor did they try to convince me to get a more expensive style or stone than what I was looking for. After getting a price quote, I checked out a few other places just to confirm my decision, and was not even slightly impressed with anyone else. I would highly recommend Giamante to anyone. I love the service I got, and more importantly, my fiancee loves the ring. :)
