Took my wife for some gift shopping, the girl who helped her was very nice, knowledgeable and patient. My wife says more selection than her last visit a few years ago.

My wife and I always shop at Sephora we decided to check out this location. Overall they had very good collection of perfumes and cologne very beautiful store nice and clean . I decided to try a one fo their samples perfume and I asked one of the staff, i was told they stopped giving out sample. Ok no big Deal., however I purchased many different products for my wife and while were checking out at the register i was offered that i can get a sample of that particular cologne i decided not to take it. Very strange. Before that they want me to buy the intire bottle and return it if i Dont like it, very unprofessional . Extremely disappointing experience. Wont go back again .

I havent been in here forever!!!! Kirsten helped me today. I get uncomfortable sometimes. She was just chill and helped me in a calm and low key way, which is what I needed today! Thank you Love! I bought more because you let me ask questions in my own way 😃

Im visiting from Arizona and I loved this store. All employees were very attentive and helpful. I was indecisive about q foundation and was offered a sample without even asking. I love that.

My fav store to go shopping. I always find something i want. I love how easy it is to find the new things and different brands. Its easy to figure out. Im vib rouge which basically means i buy to much but i really enjoy the quaility of the products. The staff are always around to help. You can get 3 samples of almost any beauty product of your choosing. my only negative is I feel like i get annoyed easily by the workers all asking if i need anything. I understand when I walk in but if I dont bite I which they would leave me alone unless I come looking for them. I feel like I cant enjoy myself. On good days they are busy and leave me the hell alone.

Very disappointed 😞 my first time ever shopping here they charged me x3 times the first try for an 1 item which it was $215 for a perfume, glad my credit card flagged it. I called my credit card to notify that it was me that is doing the purchase, now second try went through but this time they have it on there x2 twice, im literally debating if I should just stick to shopping online from the main factory. Nordstrom original price for this perfume was $180 ..They need to figure whats going on with their system or if it was just an operator error..

Their Covid protection practices are great. Staff was helpful, but not hovering, which was nice. I really appreciate that the music isnt as loud as it used to be. Overall a great experience.

I absolutely love this store! Everyone is so sweet and knowledgeable and you can tell they actually love what theyre doing. Great customer service not to mention the store is kept so organized and clean. I would highly recommend to anyone! Julia is such a nice person and she is so helpful!

Restricting customers. There were more employees in the store than customers. Had to wait in line outside and was rudely interrogated about what products that you were interested in buying before entering the store. Would rate a zero if I could.

My favorite location! The employees are always friendly, they actually help you find what youre looking for and have great direction when youre looking for a change up. The store is always clean. If you visit Sephora, visit the location inside the mall NOT in JC Penney. You will not be disappointed with your visit. Sometimes I look raggedy and just go looking for a sample, and never get treated funny for looking a certain way or for not purchasing items.

Went in looking for cologne, was greeted immediately by friendly and helpful staff. I made a purchase and they also sent me home with so.e testers of some other products I was interested in.Great experience.

This is my go to store. Ive never felt like I wasnt welcome here and the staff have always been very helpful when I need help. I live in Kenai so I do most of my shopping online but when I do make it to anchorage everyone here makes me feel like I am their best friend. I highly recommend this one so many products to pick from the one inside JCPenney is smaller but staff is still very nice. This one is my go to because it always has everything I need with the large selection of products.

I have never, and I mean never been able to find my foundation color. Not only has this woman helped me find it but she also treated me with supreme customer service. Im certain her name was Teas? Taeas? Tes? Regardless,thank you so much. This is why you are better than ultra. This is why youre amazing. Your service and products are just beyond wonderful.

The employees were so rude and followed my friend I around everywhere, even after we said we didnt need any help. I went to look at a product on a bottom shelf and the employee kneeled down next to me and just watched me. It was so awkward & uncomfortable. She also followed my friend around everywhere and when we went to checkout they ignored us and signaled for the lady behind us to go first. This has happened before but i thought that since i had a full face of makeup on theyd treat you like a real customer. Guess not!

Sephora is where is go to get ALLof my makeup... the one in downtown Seattle has the most absolute rude customer service staff that I have yet to meet otherwise I would give the store a five... Karen, and the girl with the faded purple long hair were so rude, when I asked for the Alaskan exemptions it was clearly a problem for them to go that one extra mile. I will not be returning, the two of them could definitely use a little more customer service training...

Rude is all I can really say tbhUPDATE 2 years later - they are pretty nice pretty much all the time now always have a good experience when I go in and I regularly shop at this location. Staff are always helpful even more so if they arent extremely busy.

Possibly the rudest staff in Anchorage. If you like being openly laughed at and talked about, followed around & treated like a criminal- this is the place for you! Within 30 seconds of walking in, a staff member came up to us and reached inside my bag, pulling out items purchased at Nordstrom! I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect and cruelty when shopping. I now avoid this store whenever possible. Even going so far as purchasing products elsewhere- even though they are more expensive. The staff is rude, abrasive, pushes products on you- even when you firmly say NO, they will paint over your existing makeup and ruin it- making you look like a clown- even when you tell them NO, make jokes about you to each other on their headpiece, reach inside your bags and dig around, follow you around refusing to leave you be so you can shop/read labels & wont stop in less you buy what they are pushing.

I love the selection. The staff is super snobby though.

It was a long time ago, but it’s still bothering me so I’m leaving a review. My friend took me to Sephora with her because she wanted to pick up some lipstick and the staff inside this particular Sephora followed me around like I was a thief and wouldn’t let me sit in the corner while I waited for my friend. I will never be going there again! All the women had such negative energy. I spend a lot of money at Sephora every year. I did not appreciate the way they treated me!

Very disappointed in this Sephora location and the policy was no correctly taken.Its clearly stated return policy is within 60 days and credit you in the same form of payment on Sephoras website and back of the receipts.I returned the items within 60 days and not exceed past 60 days and also paid in cash. However, I was not giving cash back but Sephora credit.I call Sephora s main customer service line and they said they couldnt do anything about it.Now, Im stuck with a company I have put money into...

Mariah at the Sephora in 5th Ave Mall (not the one in JC Penny) is AMAZING, extremely knowledgeable and very sweet, Id request her if youre looking for skin help solutions.

A little pricey, but I finally found a foundation that I pray will hold up.
