The Perfect Cup is a great place for a quick meal that doesnt taste like mall food. There is plenty of seating for large families and numerous booths for smaller groups. There is a bar with televisions if youre looking for a place to watch the game without the loud noise. These are the saltiest fries in town, so if you like salt then youll love it. If you have a heart condition then you need to ask for salt-free fries. I think the sandwiches and soups are the best items on the menu, so I hope youll enjoy them too. Amazing food! Their fries are so crispy and wonderful! I always have the super grilled cheese, MOST DELICIOUS EVER! I also really love how they have local art for sale on their walls! Great prices and a cute cafe atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to The Perfect Cup for years and I have never ever had a bad meal here. My main go-to is the chicken salad wrap. Just the right balance of crunchy lettuce and flavorful salad. When they remodeled a couple of years ago and added fryers, they started cranking out some amazing home-cut French fries. My only (tiny) gripe is that they took their delicious beef vegetable soup off the menu. :( But, they do have other great options to make up for it!

Stopped in Sunday for lunch. This place is located inside the diamond center Mall. The menu consists mainly of soup, salad, sandwich and burger options. All of the sandwiches come with the option of chips, salad or soup. The soups and salads come with bread and chips. For what you get the price seems a little bit high as you will are looking at paying $11-$15 for your entree and I wouldnt rate the quality higher than a Subway style sandwich. I ordered the tuna salad sandwich and the tuna was mostly lumped into the center of the bread. It wasnt albacore tuna and it was pretty bland as far as tuna salad goes. The service overall was acceptable, however, the experience overall was underwhelming.

Yesterday was disappointing. I slept on the fact whether or not I should write this review. I have been going to Perfect Cup for a long time. Usually, I stop by pick up my wife and take her to lunch. Yesterday was one of those days. We were excited to go after they were closed for a couple weeks...That is how often we go there.There was not much of a packed lunchroom while we were there, 9 tables total for three waitresses. Very low stress, I tell you this because it matters to the review. We sat down and an irritated waitress named Melissa shows up at the table to get our drink order, doesnt wait for us to give any specifics and leaves before we are done talking. When she comes back to take our order, we still havent gotten drinks, she rushes my wifes order down and when it gets to me I go to order a cold ham sandwich (it comes with lettuce tomato and mayo with cheddar) Before I can make any changes to my sandwich she cuts me off and asks me what side I want. I have to tell her Im not done with the sandwich. I ask to have the provolone instead of cheddar and to add mustard, she leaves in a huff. We still dont have our drinks.The food comes and my sandwich is horrific. No cheese instead of substituted provolone... no mustard... and a hot mess of what looks like grilled mushrooms that made my bread completely soggy. Nowhere on the menu did it say that there would be canned grilled mushrooms on my sandwich. All I can think is that when I said mustard she heard mushrooms... but that wouldnt have been an issue if she had actually been listening to her customers order and not annoyed that I didnt just order the stock ham sandwich.It was the first time I have had a bad meal or bad service there. Unfortunately for them, it will be the last time I have a meal there. I do not give people money to be treated badly and receive food I wouldnt give my dog.Like I said earlier, I can understand mistakes or being rushed if the lunch service is packed... but it wasnt. Melissa should not work in the service industry if she is bothered when customers interrupt her cell phone time. I understand that selfies and snapchat are super important and whatnot, but when you are at work do your job and do the best you can, the customers deserve that.

I have been coming to Perfect Cup for several years and it never disappoints! I especially love the fries.This is one of my favorite spots to catch up with friends over food, or just when I am shopping and want a bite to eat. Love the food and will continue to come here for several more years I’m sure :)

I have been going here regularly since I was a little girl. I remember when they went from my grandpa having to request a peanut butter and honey sandwich as a special for me, to having it on the menu for me. 37 years later they still have it, and despite all the changes in the mall and the expansion, this restaurant has preserved the same quiet ambience and the food is just as great and tastes just the same. The staff is always friendly and attentive.This really is the best soup and sandwich place in all of Anchorage. 😊💕

So this place has been a lunch spot for my wife and I for years to the point where I felt obligated to only go there out of loyalty. I never complained about the dry sandwiches or wilted lettuce in the salad or even the sub par service from a select few of the waitstaff. (dont get me wrong the staff is good for most part just a few bad apples that forget to put customer service 1st) Well today my wife ordered me a tuna sandwich to go, I cam I picked the sandwich the lady had a little attitude but understandable I was the one who ordered the sandwich but was picking it up while my wife got her nails done. A few mins after picking m y sandwich up my wife was done with her nail appointment I asked if she wanted lunch as well she said yeah I want some soup from perfect cup. We walked over to the perfect cup and we took a seat like always the lady proceeded to come over and tell us that because we cant eat here because we had a to go order sandwich even though my wife wanted to order a soup for herself to eat. I am absolutely applaud with the way this went down and to make a long story a little shorter my wife and I will have to start a new tradition because we will never go to the NOT SO PERFECT CUP again.

This place is a classic. Their clam chowder is delicious.!! Pair with a sandwich or wrap and youve got the perfect lunch. I usually go for the chicken salad on bread or the cranberry turkey. They have many options from salads to burgers. The Perfect Cup does not disappoint.

I love going to the perfect cup for a teriyaki salad and a bowl of seafood chowder!! Oh so yummy!! A bit on the expensive side but I would say worth it for sure. Oh and they have the best fries ever made!!!

Ate lunch on a Sunday. In the years of coming to the movies, we never ate here, so we decided to give it a shot. First impressions were the booths were a little worn, and the menus had been waterlogged and were kind of stained. I ordered an Asian Chicken Wrap with a side salad, and a cup of coffee. Coffee was really good, so kudos there! The wrap wasnt bad, it just was kind of bland. Table salt helped, but it needed something. Salad was fresh, and the vinaigrette was nice. All in all, it was okay, and the prices reasonable with attentive service. Now, it is, by far, the best option in Dimond Center to eat and a great place to grab a cup of coffee. In the end though, the place didnt sing to me. But kudos for supporting local artists on the walls!

It was close to closing time yet they let me in anyway. I have a nasty throat infection so soup is all I can handle, and I have a 6 hour flight leaving shortly. I really appreciate how helpful and friendly Aurora was!!! The soup was very good as well. When I come back next year I’ll definitely be back!!

Great experience here on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is a nice break from the normal rush of the mall. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. The chicken, bacon and ranch burger was fantastic. The fries were good, although a little greasy. A burger+fries is about $11.99-$14.99 for price, which to me is reasonable. Overall nice experience.

Ate here recently with the wife and kids, She got the Chicken Noodle Soup and I got the Mushroom and Onion burger. I loved the bun choice for the burgers but it made me wish that I went with a different burger, perhaps the Teriyaki and Pineapple burger would be a nice fit.The Chicken noodle soup was the perfect touch for the weather outside, and the french fries were a absolute hit! We ended up ordering another plate because they were perfectly crisp.Atmosphere was nice and the wait staff was friendly. Defiantly a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat.

Wonderful food! I have never had a bad meal yet!! Their fries are so crispy and good, the Cajun chicken wrap too! Best days to go are Monday - Friday. My only complaint - is I find that every time I go on Sunday, they have a section closed and we wait forever to order. The food and service on any other day makes it 5 stars. Just avoid Sundays.

Everything I have had here is tasty but those hands cut fries are a special treat.

The food is good. The staff are unhappy, so you receive unhappy service. Its not just one person either, they all frown, so you feel unwelcome. I cant enjoy good food when the people who serve you dont care. Their poisonous attitude is reflected in the chemistry of the dining experience, so the food ends up tasting bad and digesting horribly.

Walked in and seated myself, took a glimpse of the menu seen what I wanted and the waitress lady asked me what I wanted .... I wanted the seafood chowder but they ran out of that, so I looked at the menu again and asked if I could get the spicy stew with out the spice unfortunately they could’ve drive it like that so my only option was the avocado codd salad, so I was good to go da da da later she came back to tell me she ran out of avocados and there when I started to lose my appetite ... anyways I chose the chicken salad instead. Ate up and the way the refill our drinks are soooo funny and I mean once you finish your drink they’re going to give you the drink and leave the empty drink so everything is on the way while you’re here eating your meal. Food ain’t bad just wish they had the food available like it shows on the menu. Anyways she took some money off the check since the avocados didn’t come with my salad and I didn’t mind at all.

The Perfect Cup is a very accurate name! This restaurant is great, I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in the mall. I will miss eating there because I had to move out of state. Loved that spicy beef stew!

Love the Monday and Friday soup of the day! (chicken dumpling). I use it as a dipping sauce for grilled cheese.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in Anchorage, they are reasonably priced and conveniently located in the mall. Their soup and sandwiches are so delicious, I wish I had their recipes. Great service and atmosphere.

Overall, great place to eat, girlfriend and I eat there when we can, the amount you spend on a lunch for 2 will be around 30 dollars and youll leave satisfied, I usually order the TNT or the philly cheesesteak, the fries always remind me of my dads fries, homemade and cooked to perfection. The burgers are delicious and filling no matter what you get, the wraps, I dont really order too much, but the few I had were really good. My girlfriend really likes the chicken soup and she use to love the vegetable beef soup but that is no longer on the menu, but she keeps hoping itll make a come back?Now, for ordering out when you dont want to sit down to eat, I do wish the to-go containers for soup were a bit bigger, seems you get a lot more for a bowl of soup when you dine in versus ordering out, but that could all be perception. Also, I really wish you guys were on doordash or something like that, grubhub or uber eats, maybe you guys are and I dont know it, but some days we want to order in without driving all the way there, maybe something to think about?

The food was delicious, the common modified to take your expectations just a step off. The service was systematic and great, nothing was left out.I had a Rueben and soup, both were very good. The corned beef was soft, and the texture was amazing. The bread was perfectly toasted. The sauerkraut did not distract from the sandwich and had been portioned perfectly.The soup had a nice creamy base, the dumplings were soft, and everything was small to accommodate all customers. Very thoughtful and safe.The chai was pleasantly foamed, i did not expect this. I believe it was a modified Oregon chai. Again, modified to stand out, but still near enough to the original to be familiar.The fries were the most surprising to me. Im not a fry guy yet these made me stop and admire them.I would say overall this place is almost like visiting family after a long time. Youve had the food, but this is slightly new.I would return and still be surprised, happily.

Run! Dont walk to this little hidden gem in the mall. We sat right away at lunchtime on Sunday before a movie and had about an hour to kill before it started. Id never been there, and didnt have the highest expectations for a mall restaurant. Ive never been wowed before at a mall restaurant, because face it, they barely have to try and still get foot traffic.There is a little coffee counter if you just want to walk up. It seems very disorganized (seat yourself) at first glance because no one acknowledges you, but its because the waitresses are hustling to get food out.The place was full, but no waiting, so they are good at getting the tops clean and ready for the next customer. The water glasses were kept full, the waitress came by 2 or 3 times to check on us, and when we finished she was right there with the check. (I hate to wait for my check once Im finished eating)The menu is good, lots of choices and not the usual diner food IMO. Our table ordered the Cajun burger, a bowl of chicken noodle soup, a chicken wrap, and an avocado quesadilla. My Cajun burger was delicious, with blue cheese and bacon and spices. Im definitely having it again, but maybe after I try some other things on the menu. The fries were crispy brown and delicious. The chicken noodle soup was full of noodles, and real chicken, it was excellent (or so the 12 year old said) The chicken wrap was another hit with the 10 year old. The quesadilla was packed full of avocado and BACON, in a spinach tortilla, crispy and delicious. What wasnt eaten was taken to go, and eaten at dinner. The average price was about $14.00 each, which turns out is the norm for Anchorage dining out. Cant wait to go back.
