These guys are always so nice. Today we came in to pay our bill. It was very busy and there was a line. Everybody working was doing their best. They had to be exhausted. Dealing with customers going off on them for doing their job. Still being so nice. They definitely need a raise or something.

They were extremely fast, friendly, and helpful!! The gentleman that assisted me, was extremely helpful! He set up my phone for me and made surecit was working before I left.
Here it was dead empty, couldnt connect to there wifi, the dude gave me the slower router, even after I requested the one for streaming,.. rude, the guy who came to set it up, did switch it for the better model, this was July 15th, almost closing time.
I enjoy GCI I feel that they get a bad rep. They deliver a steady solid service to hundreds of thousand business and residents. I live how fast the internet is. My cell phone works everywhere I have been in Alaska. Even at the top of turnagain pass. I would recommend them over everyone in Alaska hands down.
My wifi cuts out 3 times a day and causes me to lose ranked valorant matches which is hours of my time.
I went there today to get Internet & Kathrine was so rude I wanted to give everything back & spend my money somewhere else but there is nowhere else! So I just waited for her to figure out her job. When the transaction ended I was polite & said thank you but I couldn’t tell you what she said all I know is it wasn’t you’re welcome or thank you for your business.She was also rude when I came back because they didn’t put everything in the bag like they said they did 2 hours shot I hate GCI the joke of Alaska.
Was planning on upgrading my phone (Samsung), but was told by a rep that Samsung is coming out with a new phone in August! Rep couldnt give any details, but said that it would be worth my wait....cant wait to see what Samsung is coming out with!
Sat on hold forever, and no call backs. How is this the blah blah they say, but they can not service their customers? Also, the switch board girl cannot answer a basic question to save all the long wait and no answer/or call back
Got tech support immediately when I walked into the store. The tech was knowledgeable and fixed the problem within a couple of minutes
Always happy to answer my questions regarding services and my internet bill so think I will be switching from att next pay day

I forgot to ask for the guys name, he was super helpful! He got me a good deal that GCI is having right now down to a good low price for home internet and phone bill. Im just anticipating waiting for a better deal for the new Samsung S21 it looks like an Awwsome phone! On top of that he gave me 5,000 airlines miles for Alaska Air! I had a good experience at the Dimond Center Mall at GCI!

Security guard checks you in and is a pleasant person. Security guard ensures social distance and masks are followed by all customers. Happy employees at this location. Was able to get my service moved to a new phone purchased that morning at a major electronic store.
Was on hold for 30min just to ask about upgrading then when I asked he said ... Then I was on hold again with another wait line with 4 people ahead of me with another wait time of 27 min not cool
Excellent customer service....I like the second decor for this store.,.I hated the first one from last year it was to dark,..the designers did not re evaluate or think about the design....we live where its cold and dark.....in winter....we do not want to be in a store thats also dark like a cave ...it was fine for places that has hot weather all the time but places like Alaska....we do not like the gloom and doom of things.....I have not been in there for a year...Im glad I stopped by the store last night.... It now looks great...and when u go in there is a light airy feel.,. good lighting and designed.......Stay blessed.,
I love GCI. The salesman was very helpful, informative and friendly. I was extremely satisfied with the information they provided us. I am looking forward to having services installed at our new home next year when completed.Having lived all over the world, I can not think of any provider who has been so helpful and willing to explain in detail.Very highly recommended.

The store employees engaged in discrimination practices. They did not allow me in the store because I was a visitor. I had to take a COVID19 test just to enter the state, but not able to enter an establishment. Their sign didnt say if youre a visitor you cant enter. I had my mask and everything. Just so unprofessional.
Chatted online with an agent and reserved a TiVo box. Was directed by agent to come to this location to pick up same day. Went over. After a 20 min standing wait my name was finally shouted out just to be told my box was no longer available. The front desk representative was kind to me and offered me a free month of cable. 70 value for their mistake. Overall I am satisfied but not extremely pleased. Just content for now. We shall see what improvements are made in the future so other customers dont have to experience my experience.
Employees in this particular location need to work on their customer service. The two ladies that I talked to in the past were very nice and accomodating (and the only reason why Im giving 2 stars instead of 1) but the guys always gave me an attitude. I had questions about my bills and they would answer me like I was stupid. Ever since GCI upgraded (although it doesnt seem like they did) there has been a lot of issues on billings. I dont usually leave reviews about customer service no matter how bad my experience was but this has been an ongoing issue with this location. It has to be addressed.

This location is by far the worst I have ever been to, a rude employee who patronizes the homeless and less fortunate, while asking questions with more of an attitude and just being a general ass, none of the employees here know what they are talking about, that or they have no connection to any other location because they give a different answer to EVERYTHING! Incompetent employees and the manager Jordan, dont even bother talking to him because he is worse than the employees. Absolutely not helpful, would not recommend stopping by unless you actually hate yourself and want to be treated like a child because they think there is nothing you can/will do about it.

My experience with GCI has been 99% horrible. Their predatory behavior towards customers and other wholesalers makes me gag. If a person is lucky and has an option other than the GCI monopoly, you should most definitely take it.I know theyll brag that they spend so many millions every year on infrastructure, but that money isnt even theirs! They spend YOUR money to build infrastructure so you can be a victim of their predatory practices. All the federal grants GCI uses to victimize captive customers is public record, and as such, I dont understand how the Regulatory Commission of Alaska allows such behavior.
Canceled all services there expensive and not the custumer service is no good cancelled all services with them got acs for internet plus directv now for tv way better and soooo much cheaper
4 stars for this location. Customer service has always been good. 9 out of 10 times the employees were on top of things for me. 2 stars for the service and company, maybe should be one star. Their cell coverage has gone down hill every year. Their rates go up every year. I have to switch out bad cable modems twice a year and malfunctioning cable boxes at least twice a year. Just switched over to the new TiVo box 1 1/2 months ago and it already needs to be swapped. They should drop their cell service and focus on their cable and internet. I’m seriously considering dropping the cable and internet service and just going without.

I paid $15 for an extra gig here for data and it was never added to my account. They billed me $37 on top of the $60 i already pay for bad service. I cant wait for the end of my contract so i can take my business elsewhere! When you pay for any changes to your contract here, make sure you keep your receipt because they literally steal your money!
Customer service is really bad. I called several times and had to wait a long time, only to be directed to a person redirecting to another person for a call back... which I never got! No help at all.
