Love this place. Always full of exciting and quirky finds. Surprisingly wide variety of vintage as well as modern merchandise which I love. I never walk away empty handed. Some of the best bargain shopping around and the staff are very courteous and helpful.
If you have a minor home repair project then you might find some of the items you need here at Habitat for Humanity Restore. Some of the items are new old inventory while other items were surplus. Im positive youll find what you dont need and maybe what you do need here.If this review was helpful please click the Like button.
Great. Found awesome tool deals.
Great place to find used materials but yet in good conditions tobe used for your projects or minor fixer ups.
I Love going into here. If I dont find what Im looking for I do get ideas fir other projects

So much to look at but not at all overwhelming. Great pricing and awesome staff!
Allie got tested for Covid-19. A long time employee, always the most helpful person there. I believe she may be responsible for how organized the store is at the last location and this one. She had to self quarantine for the test and was fired for tardinessThey were lucky to have her.I wont be back.
Excellent place to find odd things you need for projects around the house or job. Great prices, except some of the furniture is outrageously over priced.
The place is great and cheap prices compared to the previous location. Clean and organized. Its great to donate and shop. Kudos for new management.👍🏻
The store closed today, but website doesn’t mention that. I am disappointed
Everything you need for your house is here if you know what youre looking for. Restore became my go-to place for everything when I bought my house, especially yard stuff. If youre a landlord, look here for everything you need to renovate apartments including cabinets, sinks, toilets and even some appliances. This is the BEST place if you like to repurpose items. I made a tabletop fountain out of PVC pipe and two light fixture covers. Most items are used and/or leftovers, though new items can be found from time to time.Staff are friendly and helpful (Especially Ali and Andy) and prices are reasonable. Some people haggle on pricing but I never do. Seems like a waste since prices are low and proceeds go to Habitat. Plus, I think the goodwill of accepting whatever price they come up with leads to lower prices overall. Cannot say enough good things about Restore.
Their new location is well-organized, and all indoors, making for a more productive experience!
This place is such a great resource for for donating and buying building materials. The inventory changes rapidly, so you never know what you are going to find there.
If you do projects, if youre involved in maintenance or you just own your on place. this is the place for great deals ...just try it
I so enjoy that I can buy those items I need there without breaking the bank.
Great
Its a very good place to get materials at a good price . But its not the same as the past, when you can get almost anything. Code and regulation changed everything maybe for the best. They are limited on what they can accept now, same as to sell. But still the only place in town the get a bang for your buck. Keep up the good work.
I came to see if they still accept donations of paint. Im glad I did because the person at the checkout said they no longer do.
Its changed.Different price point.Prices are high. Vibe different.I give 2 stars is..cause at least youre recycling. And hopefully there not like goodwill and the $ in going to Habits endeavors. Shrug before I thought how cool they are being a charity to the shoppers and people in need of homes..Before.This is a super cool store with great finds from new cleaning products to random screws. Killer deals on furniture. Its honestly the Willy Wonka of random DIY projects supplies. The place is well organized(especially for the amount/diversity of stuff it turns over). But what makes this place truly FUN are its great employees, like Norm and Sarah, see I know names already.Really everyone who works here seems to care. It like they have took an empty space & created a place that offers an amazing service to Anchorage with a real sense of charity. The store embodies the values of that Habitat 4 Humanity is known for...its refreshing to see. I dont know how you guys do it?Final note: in life I have noticed that when Im shopping in a place filled with used toilets, I easy feel like Im shopping in a place....well, full of used toilets...and here I dont. This place makes me feel like Im upcycling instead of broke. So please, just like Jimmy Carter, keep going. & thank you.
We loved it . It was are first visit but not are last. We are remodeling a older trailer it was a great place to shop. Everyone was really nice. Thanks for helping us out.
Always 5 star!
Excellent prices. Great customer service. Low on stock. Their in need of donations of cabinets( kitchen and bath).
Always love getting good deals on new and used items when your on a tight budget and the atmosphere is amazing. Staff is always helpful and positive. Real down home feel.
Donations, and folks appreciating bargains, make the ReStore work! Always a friendly face. Im always amazed at the selection. This is the spot when youre hoping to find an oldie-but-goodie.
Cause of Covid19 time for projects at home meaning very little items in store!
There are a bunch of hidden treasures here. They have almost everything you need for a home, new and used and more. Sometimes they are out of things but they get new/used stuff all the time.
The best place for diy projects!!! Colin (Along with everyone ) is super friendly helping you with any questions. Not to mention it helps the community. They also take your donations of unwanted items... Win win!!!!!
Habitat is fun to visit!! Employees are ready and willing to help. Even when I dont have anything in particular, in mind, I usually find something that gets my attention. The name I go by most often is ROSA SPRUNG. ( MATTY). Matilde Cadavid was my maiden name....mmmmm 40 years ago....where in the world did you find it ???
When you have a need its great to have a place that will help like they do, and when you dont have a need it pays to know where the best deals are. Absolutely Love It.
The prices at Habitat are generally pretty decent except for days like today when their greed takes over from common sense. I picked up a box of mostly used galvanized and black pipe fittings/nipples. Usually they look at what is in the box and give you a price for the lot. Today they scanned the bar code with an iPhone on a used 1/2 x 6 galvanized nipple and keyed in $3.00 for the item. I asked really you are charging me 3.00 for a used piece of pipe? Yes, thats the price. If you have the slightest bit of plumbing/pipe fitting knowledge then you know these items have tapered threads. Pipe with tapered threads are mostly a one time use, when you break the connection it will be quite difficult if not impossible to get a leak proof seal. The Re-Store does great work with the funds from sales of donated items. Please dont get so greedy that you start charging Home Depot prices for used items.
Got what I needed good place to find things
Great place for purchasing and donating recycled hardware supplies, home fixtures, and appliances. Friendly staff and great prices.
I love the place. Always find something in need
The best place to shop for home repair. Super great stuff, staff and you can bring your fur baby!
I hate giving a slightly low rating to such a wonderful organization, but I found this location not the best. I ended up just going in and out pretty quick because I felt overwhelmed by how everything was organized. There are a couple of these ReStores back in my home town in Portland, and comparatively this location is just a bit... messy and unkempt. Love the organization as a whole though, and this definitely is a great place to try finding used household stuff for home repairs!! And hey, I love AmeriCorps volunteers and all they do!
Given enuff time ....youll find all ya need
Great place for furniture rehab projects and finding older pieces for repairs..
Nice people and a great place to get items for your home repairs for really good prices.
Never been there before until it was pointed out so we went
Anytime I need something that is hard to get this is my first stop & I normally get what I wan
Probably will find what your looking for on Craigslist faster. Lots of junk, the better stuff looks pretty ragged and still kinda spendy.
Has alot of house building materials for reasonable price, for a good non profit organization
Great experience and purchases!
Friendly staff. Great place to drop off house hold items that are still useable .
Friendly people. Great place for bargains.
Great prices but you have know what you are looking for
Got it when I need it.
I love these guys
Awesome but needs better organized supply
Love this place! its a house crafters dream!
Love this place has all the odd little things you need for home improvement projects.
Perfect place for DIY and those on a tight budget
Cheap with discounts!!!! Theres different discounts every Mon-Friday
Rearranged the whole store, things will be easier to find.
Helpful volunteer staff. Friendly.
Great to support recycling.
They let you just brows around all day and when youre ready you can get good help
