Nice idea and well done beer shopping experience. Can either buy singles or full pack of different beers. Pretty wide selection of craft beers and other beers as well as wines and stronger stuff. I like the idea of buying singles to try different beers. Staff was very helpful.

Best beer selection in Alaska hands down. I really dig how they allow you to mix and match whatever beers you like. Both Anchorage and Girdwood locations have great customer service and are very clean as well!

First off THEY KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE! They can give insight beyond a regular consumer because they seem to care about what they sell. Ive also never been to a place that allows you to custom build a six pack. Place is awesome, definitely a place for someone who like the flavor side of alcohol! Would highly recommend!

Real poor customer service - STAY AWAY!!!!! I am a person in my 40’s and they would not sell me a bottle of wine because my ID was expired by 2 months. And then they would not sell it to my husband with NOT expired ID. What part of underage drinking are they preventing?! Very poor customer service!

Good selection. Went to get a bottle of Saison and left with three different varieties. Have a good selection of German beers as well. Have recently signed up for wine club as I dont know too much about wine and have been pleased with varieties offered each month at a good price. Its nice to have a good bottle of wine and know about food pairings for company. The staff has been courteous and knowledgeable.

The beer selection is okay but the CUSTOMER SERVICE is TERRIBLE. Having traveled the U.S through the military I have been in quite a few establishments of this nature and never once was treated as badly and talked down to as I was in this store. I asked a simple question if they carried a beer made by the Homer Brewing Company which they do not. And the guy at the register proceed to lecture me on how if I wanted that beer then I should go to Homer to get it. And proceed to ask me questions on if I knew where Homer was, if I knew how long of a drive it would be to get there and so on and so forth. When really all he should have replied with was no and possibly asked what I might be looking for. Instead he proceeded to make me look foolish to the point that other customers started laughing at me.Also lighting inside the store is poor. A large portion of their 6 packs were missing bottles. The displays are more of a cluster fudge. Bottles were dusty and it looked like there hadnt been any attempt at dusting them.If you must shop here, DO NOT ASK FOR ASSISTANCE OR HELP. Unless you want to be talked down to and made fun of to where other customers start laughing at you when all you ask is a simple yes or no question.

I generally come here because of their large selection of beers on ciders on tap. They rotate the selection pretty regularly so it is a wonderful place to fill growlers up. The price is reasonable too, normally between 12 and 16 dollars a growler.

They have things that are hard to find in the usual places such as the Brown Jug and the Brown Jug and the Brown Jug which seems to have a monopoly on Alaska. But considering theres only three Distributors of alcohol in Alaska, which seems like a mafioso type of way to run any kind of business, La Bodega seems to have the higher end of the things that you need, at the higher end price. I like German beer in my three years in Anchorage La Bodega was the only place to have warsteiner on tap. They also have a good selection of Premium whiskeys, but you dont get a break on the price, they charge you through the nose to get their premium product. I would say however that the people that work there are very knowledgeable and they are very helpful

Great selection of brews. Can pick up sixers, or individual cans or bottles, not limited to bombers. Also, they have a great growler bar. If sake or spirits are more your thing, they have you covered. Make sure to check out their Beer or Wine Clubs, too.

Amazing selection of beers

Visiting La Bodega is an wonderful experience. There is such a unique selection for anyone I know. From decatent wines and even coffee and chocolates to unique and fun beers that made me buy them just to look at them! The staff is genuinely excited to work there and share the experience of La Bodega! Worth at least one visit! Their growler bar on Benson Blvd is intense and full of surprises too! Dont worry I wont spoil it for you!

La Bodega has a great selection of spirits, wine, beer, and sake. The selection of local products is extensive, and the growler bar offers a changing selection of craft brews.The staff are more than willing to help anyone learn more or offer advice about the drinks available.Their hosted events are a real treat.

If youre looking for interesting beers in Anchorage, this is the place to start. I love coming in, grabbing an empty 6-Pack container and finding different single bottles to try. The selection of ciders, wines, and liquors is becoming impressive as well. The growler bar adds a welcome dimension, as they bring in stuff from in and out of state.

There is a fairly small selection, but they stock very smartly. Instead of 50 different flavors of Bacardi, you can find good, classic cocktail ingredients from reputable sources, a really good selection of wine and sake, and a ton of microbrews. You pay a fair price for what you get, and its the only place in town where you can find some higher end liquors and liqueurs.

As far as I know theyre the only place in town that lets you take individual bottles, which is extremely helpful for sampling.Ive had a good experience with every time I go, and I would say they are almost always friendly and enjoy talking about beers and new ones to find whenever I come in.For stores within Alaska I would put them at 5 as I have rated. Compared to the variety, size, and price of a similar local store from the lower 48 they are maybe a 4, but that isnt necessarily a fair comparison.
