I would have put 5 stars but there were some opened costumes being sold at the original price and I saw some broken display equipment. Maybe the display props weren’t broken though. I was looking super fast because we were in a rush.I didn’t purchase anything because I am picky when it comes to Halloween costumes and they didn’t have the ones I was trying to find. Their choices gave me new ideas and made me want to buy costumes from their place though!I wish I got to take a look around everywhere in the store, but like I said I was in a rush. Anyways, the staff are kind, welcoming and helpful! They are much much much nicer than the workers at Spirit Halloween!!! Overall, it was a great experience at Party World! I will definitely go back in the future to shop again! I’ll also recommend this place to others:)

Generally the best place to find a variety of costumes and accessories for Halloween and other occasions. And the staff is friendly and helpful, as well.

I was pleasantly surprised by this store. They had great discounts today and lots and lots of costumes in stock. The adult costumes were also surprisingly decent quality. If youre looking for a pirate pub crawl or renaissance get up, they have stuff in stock!

Decided to come here because the party supplies store closest to me has permanently closed, and big retail stores barely have anything. Totally worth going as they have what I needed. Kind and helpful staff too. Will definitely come back in the near future.

Party World retail is amazing! I found all the things I needed for my wedding at an affordable cost, and the staff was really nice and helpful! Party World warehouse is okay, they have great items to rent and I love it, but when I went in to ONLY make a payment, the guy working rolled his eyes like it was an inconvenience. Made me not want to go back at all

Awesome little store tucked back on Arctic right near 36th St and close to the mooses Lodge. This place has been here for a long time, I can remmeber when I was in high school a long time ago go in here with my friends on lunch break and trying on masks and all kinds of stuff laughing and having a good time. Is always really cool theres a bunch of weird neat stuff in there do you think you might need to have a fun little birthday party or Halloween party or even a Christmas party they have tons of balloons I always get my balloons are there really good prices awesome super cool stuff that you would never think is there is in there LOL scary costumes funny ones pretty ones everything except for theyre really sexy ones I think LOL.

Found just what we were looking for, (my mama bear and I.) After we paid for what we were purchasing, they were kind enough to allow us to use their restroom right quick! Great selection of adult & child costumes, and also party supplies. Highly recommended!

Really bad quality of the product. For example, I got several balloons. Balloons didnt last even half an hour. Few poped while I was driving home. The rest leaked air, didnt made to a party either. The customer service guy come up with a story like The sun make the air leak from those balloons.The rest of the party stuff I got from that store were very filfy and covered in dust and gunk

These guys go above and beyond! When I showed up a little after closing late for a Halloween event, they were able to hook me up with what I needed! They have great quality makeup and props, and I always receive friendly and professional customer service. I’ll keep sending my friends over for popcorn, great products, and smiles!

Party World has a variety of costumes at decent prices. The Horror Tent is always fun to walk thru.

Employees were super friendly! Awesome customer service! We took our three young children in and they loved it. They even gave them free popcorn and a piece of candy. There is a large variety of costumes, balloons, pinatas, and party supplies.

They have SO much! The best party store Ive been to. They have everything for ever occasions. And have an AMAZING supply of prosthetics, costume makeup and supplies. It not that cheap stuff either.

Stopped by here today just to see what kind of stuff they had, kind of window shopping a little bit, the boys that work here are extremely friendly, very knowledgeable of their store, they made a good shopping experience into a fantastic one! Will definitely be back!

The service I received at both the main store and the warehouse was fantastic. The workers were well-informed and eager to help. My only disappointment was that there was not much of a selection of event serving trays, bowls, etc. available for purchase.

Best selection in anchorage for party supplies and last minute rentals. Staff is always very helpful. Little more money than other places but it is worth it supporting a great local shop.

Bought a costume yesterday and opened it up today to find two pairs of pants instead of a top and bottom. Called from work to ask about exchanging it and was told I did not need to go home to pick up the receipt. Brought it in and explained the situation then was rudely helped by the cashier. How do I know you didnt buy this three years ago? Did you not hear the policy three to four times while you were here? He finally let me exchange the costume after going back and forth. I left the store angry and decided to call to speak with the manager. The cashier who so rudely helped me was, big surprise, THE MANAGER! He wasnt sure what my complaint was since he gave me a FREE COSTUME. Im not sure how paying for a costume yesterday and making an extra trip to fix their mistake is getting a free costume. Will never shop there again based on terrible customer service.If I had the option to pick zero stars, I would have.

Friendly staff and love the place

I feel obligated to leave this review because of how poor the customer service was. I called Party World inquiring about rental equipment for my upcoming wedding and was told to come by before 6pm to view the items they have. I came at 520 and the storefront told me the rental warehouse closes at 530. So then I told him I’ll be here around 515 tomorrow and he said great.The next day I show up to the rental warehouse at 5PM. The front desk lady (older) asked can she help me. I said we are looking to rent equipment for our wedding and was hoping to see the show room. She said the show room closes at 5. It’s literally a couple minutes after 5. I tell her the gentlemen’s name that advised us they close at 530. She said “nope at 5...” absolutely worst customer service especially when I was in need of rental 250 chairs with linen tables tents etc. So being told wrong times with no ounce of customer experience I was pretty disappointed. There were 3 employees behind the desk. I was the only one customer there. Felt really brushed off.I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Chose to work here for Halloween. I love everyone I worked with. Ignore the negative review. Keep in mind that all costumes are no return and no exchange once they leave the store. You have the option to look at it and/or try it on. Ill definitely work here again and shop here as well. Good store with amazing people.

Amazing selection, fun up beat enviorment, and really awesome service. Two sides, retail and warehouse. I use both regularly for my event planning. if Im not sure of what I need I source ideas with their creative team making it my first stop where ever Im at in the planning stage.

This costume store almost always has what I am looking for. They also have a decent range of products in quality and price. This is the one place in town I would tell people to go buy props, make-up, or party favors.

Super friendly and helpful staff. I had first gone to Party Craft down the street and they didnt have what I was looking for, luckily Party World did (and a huge selection) plus staff that went out of his way to help me find exactly what I needed.

Employees very helpful. Store is full of costumes and decorations. Found some 4th of July items, but they seem to be a Halloween, movie fan focus.
