I love this burlington better then the other one. But other then that this mall needs a makeover

Hello..the 1980s called and they want their mall back. This place is a freaking hole. How its still open is beyond me..theres nothing decent here.. even the Burlington is dark and sporadically stocked. And the neighborhood around looks like a dang demilitarized zone.

Unfortunately, The interior of the Northway Mall has closed down. However, stores like Shockwave and planet fitness with a outdoor entrance can stay open. This was kind of expected as the mall looked atrocious and took you to a 1980s time machine, and COVID-19 really put the nail in the coffin. but I really feel bad for businesses that were still operating at the mall. Most of them will likely be without homes and its kind of sad. Im glad places like Excalibur Sports left the mall when they did, because there was already markings on the wall at that point that the future was not bright. With that, thats all I have to say.

Keep your area clean and safe for everyone. Offer a better commitment for our community.

What a shabby mall. This mall needs to be closed for good. Everything is basically empty. Stores that ae still there were not even open. Went in to look around in Excalibur Sports and found out they relocated to the 5th Avenue Mall.

This mall is basically dead as a mall... some of the shops ore still okay, but the mall is mostly emptying units. It is still rather clean, but could be because it is not very well used. The planet fitness is nice, but it has an external door, so no need to go into the mall itself...

Burlingtons is great. Carrs is an anchor if this mall. Planet fitness. And sports. Fangear plus other chains like Footlocker. Ill inside out of the elements.

Overall mall is decent, some good stores. Stay away from the food court, it’s just gross. Only Franchise is Subway and all others serve Costco frozen food that’s been sitting out on a counter.

I really wish this place had a bigger community or just a family vibe like the plaza workers of the movie Turbo, but itll most likely happen. Either this place needs to be reinnervated or it just needs to be burned down and replaced with something bigger and better. Overall its just a decent place to shop and head to convenient places at. 🤷‍♀️

I am here several times a dayThe stores are great but you may not have a car when you go to leave. Auto theft and shootings are common in the parking lot. The security can only do so much. Be safe and alert if you stop at this mall. Women should not visit alone for your safety

If youre walking youre likely to be harassed by the security. Apparently its their job to stalk people around the parking lot if you walk.

It doesnt have a lot of shops, but the shops there are very large and unique. But you do have to walk a lot.

We are trying to clean up the mall reputation. Its a nice place its clean and safe to visit you dont have to worry about anyone bothering you. I work there and we do our best to make you feel welcome.

I love going to northway mall there is also sorts of things to see. An I think for any mall visit b careful about leaving valuables in plain sight when going to a mall. There is mall security and public restrooms in different parts of the mall

I love this place. Pho Lena has some of the best Thai and Vietnamese food in town, Joanns is convenient for my sewing needs, and Burlington always has fun things. The dollar store here is my go-to for all my party supplies.

I work in the area and this is a great place to go for quick shopping needs on the way home. Everything from small shops to large stores in one location and during the winter love that it is indoors.

A very ghetto mall for Alaskan standards. During the day CARRs is the only good place to visit. I dont normally spend an hour here, my usual visit last 20 to 30 minutes max. That is because peoples cars get broken into here often or stolen. At night a lot of drug dealing going on so I dont come here at night.

An older more run down looking place that offers some good shopping opportunities. I enjoy the gym and Burlington.

This mall is not a mall. Its run down inside and out, there are very few stores inside at all. People stand outside their own stores into entice you to come in which is just creepy

I gave it an extra star for the Carrs/Safeway store in there. Mall was pretty deserted. I normally only come here for the VA C&P facility in there.

Love this place but they dont like you hanging out for long.

I wished so.thing was done to improve this mall it does hold pretty cool events for kids but but very seldom. Always have hope for this place though :)

I enjoy the Joann Fabric/Craft supply store at Northway Mall the store has a huge amount of options that often I leave without what I needed but stocked up in fresh ideas. The staff is eager to help and the customer service is awesome.

I know this place has been run down in the past but since Mao has taken over its been more a community central hub. The shops are great, and be sure to stop by Joys corner!

My family shops there to buy stuff like clothing or food.its a really amazing place and other people should enjoy it too

Have you ever been to one of those malls that seems like it is dying? We had a few in Tampa. This place has a handful of active businesses but the mall seems very much past its prime. Not dirty or unpleasant just 2/3 full and run down.

This mall has seen better days. We dont actually go into the mall anymore, we were at JoAnns. JoAnns is five star.

At night time this place has more drugs changing hands then a pharmacy-During the day this place is great!Alot of venders and you can get fantastic deals!

Dont go there without a bullet proof vest..

Kinda shady but its the mall we all new and love so may years ago.

Has quite a bit of Unique little shops!The whole mall is pretty dirty!The parking lot is large & Well designed, But again its dirty!

Great place to walk indoors during winter, many great shops, eateries, grocery store. Never crowded

Dont go at night, and never alone. Some decent stores inside, also a lot of empty store fronts. Bad neighborhood, be careful.

Once it was the mall to go to, now its where you go to get your car broken into. Ive been there three times in the past year, first time seemed okay, second time came out to a broken window and a missing coat (a cheap ass Walmart coat at that) and the last time I was there I went inside and realized I forgot my phone, came back outside literally 30 seconds later and there was a woman trying my doors to see if they were locked. Now I was parked in the front row of the lot right by the entrance doors so its not like I was way out in the lot. I pushed the alarm on my key fob and she stood there playing with a set of keys pretending that she couldnt get it to turn off. I walked over, climbed into my car drove away and havent been back since and doubt I ever will.

Great shopping place, this mall had changed allot in the past five years, they are constantly adding new shops and trendy stores. There is a Joanns fabric store connected to thr mall so its like a one stop shop for the lovers of crafts and shopping.

Malls been around awhile parents used to work at a place called liquidation world oh so long ago

Yep lots of drug use and crime. But I came here to make money....... and I have! Plus the experience of working in Alaska! I sell portraits and everyone, including down ridden users need one done sometimes. The Fred Meyers really is a spectacular store despite also!!

Not the fanciest but always interesting and theres something for everyone

Worst mall in Alaska. I have no idea how this place is still open. Hood Wings is the only place in the mall worth visiting.

The best mall in Anchorage. They also just added a family room for changing diapers and nursing!

You can get you a fresh starter jacket here or find anything you are lookin to find, hot wings, you name it

Its OK, nothing special about it. The beauty supply store is closed eveeytime I go in there. Excalibur has relocated to 5th Ave. Mall. Foot locker, Burlington is still there and a barber shop. But they just jeed to go ahead and close the place down. I went to the bathroom once and it was a naked homeless in the bathroom attempting to wash off in the sink, but to drunk to get it done.

Safeway is a good place to grocery shop but to many idiots from penland park.

I love them all its just not as clean as I would like it to be

Only went to Burlingtons, was disappointed in their coats. Did find one in the boys department that was serviceable.

Outside of Safeway and Planet Fitness, this place blows. It is dead with a bunch of dirtbags.

I only go here to go to Planet Fitness but it seems to be a decent place. the only problem i have with them is that the people that are in the mall seem to be a little sketchy, I realize that this isnt their fault but it does take something away from the experience.

Im only giving it 3 stars because these drunk dudes were causing such rukus outside in the parking lot. That they closed the store until the cops came!!!!! But thats not Safeways fault.

There has been a major revitalization effort at this mall. It could still use a few more options and you cant change the fact that it is right across the street from a huge trailer park.

It has come up a lotl in recent years,but there seems to be still a lot of people going to the liquor store in Carrs.

Poor selection of stores. Often has nefarious characters lurking outside of the Carrs late at night.

This place, once a busy mall is now in shambles, the only people you see there anymore are homeless and druggies. Its terrible.
