My blower motor went out and I searched for an open auto repair shop, it was Saturday before a long holiday weekend, they got me in and fixed my motor within 2 hours. The price was comparable to another shop I called. Very satisfied with their service and highly recommend them.

Ali is a kind person I just wished I had my own log of payments when I did go in to make one. His mechanic work is good and thats the only thing.Update:Please people if you purchase a vehicle with this guy and make payments PLEASE KEEP your own log of payments!! I was there every month and he is missing 4 payments that I had made to him. That sums it up to $600.00! I cant believe I got GOT from this foriniger! I thought he was an honest man. I do believe in karma!

While driving through Anchorage en route to Colorado, I stopped at the shop to get a mechanics opinion about a weird thud sound happening while turning and accelerating. It was 4pm on a Saturday, and Ali (the owner) happily welcomed me and took the car for a spin to figure out the problem. Ali immediately knew the source of the sound and spent the next two hours working on the car.As a student, I was terrified about a massive bill or a complicated fix required to make the drive south. I told Ali about my limited budget and how I needed to get back for classes in a week, then braced myself for the expected bad news. While I was waiting (on the insanely comfortable couches), another customer/Anchorage local told me that Ali is brilliant and that he refers his friends and family there...I soon found out why!Ali did an incredible job to make sure my car would make it back to Colorado and that I didnt have to spend an arm and a leg on repairs. In an industry with a plethora of rats-these are the good guys. Please do yourself a favor & come here. My cars alternator stopped turning over about 4 p.m. on a Saturday. I needed a tow to the nearest mechanic, luckily my car decided to break down near Alaska Professional Auto with Ali, Jerry & the team. I arrived sweaty and with a heavy heart. Ali had answered my anxious phone calls several times with assurance and helpful information. He actually asked his guys to stay late, on a Saturday, to finish my car so I could get home. The price he charged me was more than fair-no extra for staying an hour and a half late, after closing time, just to help me out. I felt like family. I cant believe you are doing this for me I said. He also takes time to get to know his customers, something you can tell by the slew of holiday and thank you mail from customers that is pinned to the wall.I happened to find Anchorage Professional Auto by luck when I first moved to Anchorage. My friends car, which she had kept in storage for the past year, wouldnt start. Alis shop was the only one open on a Saturday at 5pm. Not only did he drive us out to the vehicle and jump start it so we could get it to the shop, but he and his team stayed late to replace her battery so she would have a car for the rest of the holiday weekend.He has always been kind and honest, and his prices are fair. I will remain a loyal customer and highly recommend him!

I went to another shop down the road and for a thermostat housing replacement, told me around $700! I knew this was way to much, called Alaska Professional Auto guy laughed and said bring it in i can get the parts on the way and get it done for $250! Great honest and quick service, i will go back there when i need work done

Check your vehicle before you pay. Wasted l a lot of my time. Taking my car back to fix the same issue I payed them for.

I took my explorer in due to a dead cylinder. After a cylinder leak down test it was determined that I had a burnt valve. Of course the heads had to be removed in order to fix this problem. The only problem was, that was never the problem. All that was wrong was a broken valve spring, quite a simple fix that ended up costing me 1500.00.Granted, Ford tried to tell me that I had burned both valves on the same cylinder. After arguing with me when I told them that was not possible, I went here and was still ripped off.

This is the only place I trust with my car. They are always friendly and dependable. I would refer Alaska Professional Auto to everyone!

Does unauthorized repairs then charges unbelievable amount. Withholds vehicle from owner until the amount is paid. Very unprofessional!! Do not trust this shop with your vehicle!!

Cons:- too eager to start doing expensive repairs that dont solve the real issue- puts you in back of the queue when you return after issued unsolved- not enough comprehensive tests to consider real problem source- lot is crowded and vehicles get dinged without notice- bad communicationpros:- seems honest and not rude, but it didnt change the outcome- average rates
