I really don’t know what store the previous commenter was at but it is completely different than my experience which was OUTSTANDING! I was kindly greeted and welcomed in by Joann. I had some specific things I was interested in finding and she guided me right to them. She knew the store and the contents well. There was another gentleman working as well and he was friendly and attentive. I really wonder if the previous reviewer had an ax to grind or some other ulterior motive. I had a GREAT visit, got some great stuff and will certainly be returning!

Well first and foremost, if you go in anytime between 5:30-6:00 closing, the first thing they do is let you know that youre going to get booted about 15 minutes before the actual posted store closing hour. This is, according to the gentleman at the front because, it takes a while to go through the store.When asked if they do mostly consignment or buy, I was told I had to speak to a female whose name began with a J and I couldnt make out her full name which he mumbled as he was more focused on a computer in front of him. I had to ask him again and realized he was focused on the paying customer next to me so I stepped away and browsed a moment until I had to ask the female employee I assumed he was referring to, a third time.Both employees were rude and acted like I was an annoyance and clearly more interested in scooting me out the door. Additionally, when I showed her the item I was inquiring about selling, I felt as if my kindergarten teacher was in front of me and I was 2 feet tall learning the colors of the rainbow. She downplayed my item and acted as if I were of lesser brilliance than she is and quickly scooted the item back my way.Their answers to every question were short, snooty, and just incredibly unpleasant. This is the second time Ive ever been here and I wouldnt come back to be treated as poorly as these two individuals have treated me. Two out of two times, not good odds. I understand everyone needs to make money but underestimating everyones intelligence while talking down to them is just bad business and manners. I wont return to this store and I wont refer anyone. They need attitude adjustments and some customer service classes.Their inventory was pleasant though.What a shame.

Everyone that works there are super sweet, and helpful! Ever need just something random that you can’t find anywhere else? You will most likely find it here! The prices are just right and the environment is so welcoming! Even as a college student they treated me as an adult and didn’t talk down to me! Definitely my new favorite antique store!!

Great antiques, but who cares when the owners will not let you use their restroom!

Great folks in this shop and willful to assist. THE place in Anchorage to find antiques and collectibles as well as Alaskana. Id definitely recommend a visit.

Lots of cool stuff in there!! Not everything is as pricey as you might think they would be in an antique store. Seems like theres a little something in there for anyone! Also, just a fun place to kill an hour if youre not actually looking to buy anything

Bearded clerk behind counter rude, inconsiderate, unhelpful, and downright snotty. Its a shame as usually customer service is on point. Hoping they get rid of him ASAP!!

Cool place. Wish they had more kids toys but maybe they sell out of those quickly. Not sure either way, cool place and lots to see.

Really high prices, and rude staff. Im a local who took my mother (who was visiting) in here to browse. My mom collects Navajo jewelry, so we asked the lady who was working the counter if they had any for sale. She was so rude and condescending with her response, saying Um, no, this is ALASKA, we only have ALASKA NATIVE antiques in here. She treated us like idiots just for asking. And then we found a case that had some Navajo jewelry in it...Not only is the staff rude, they dont even know what they have.
