The place is unorganized and funky looking and smelling... which probably makes it feel authentic... plus, Its the only place to buy some fresh cooked sombusas and probably the only place in town.... very good! 👍
Ordered lamb and rice, was told to wait an hour before pickup, then waited close to another hour after arriving. It’s unorganized, there is open product all over the shelves, and there is dust everywhere. Finally after waiting, I left with my meals and sat down to eat with my husband. Now, the rice was really good, however i’m not sure what kind of meat we were served, was 98% fat and felt like eating bad pork chops. There are Plenty more Halal stores in Anchorage that are much better if you put forth effort to find them.
This place is like my second home I always come here to shop and eat at the restaurant I would recommend people to come and try ...
Great 👍
AMAZING place!! I tried one of their dishes from the menu and it was top notch!!! I went with the Jabati Suqar, an authentic Somalian dish, which reminded me of a Fajita, consisting of 2 homemade Somalian tortillas, and a plate of a well cooked cubed steak, with grilled onions Sautéed in an delicious Somalian sauce with a hint of curry flavoring. The 2 lemon slices available really added a good touch. It was the best breakfast Ive ever had in my life and the people were so nice and loving. Try this food please
This store is amazing and has a lot cheaper stuff then other stores 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
So delicious!!!! Try one of the sanbusas and get ready to order 20 more! Also love the goat rice!
It was dirty and stuff was in the middle of the floor. There is stuff in the freezer section that I am sure is a health code violation. This was the first time and last time I will step food in this disgusting store.
