Horrible customer service!!! Worst company I have ever done business with. Ordered a garage door & opener, waited 8 weeks (fair enough, it was a non standard color) it was installed even though it was damaged, I was told it would be 8 more weeks until a new panel would be installed to replace the damaged panel, 10 weeks later I called and asked where it was, I was told that I needed to order it… thought that was already done upon installation! So I ordered it and was sent a text 8 weeks later saying it would be installed the next morning between 8 & 10, Nobody showed up, I called at 3pm to inquire what was up, I was told it was a mistake & it would be installed the next week. The installer showed up the next week and notified me that the panel was wrong and didn’t have the insulation. He would return in 2 days with the corrected panel. He never showed up, that was nearly 3 weeks ago, their “WORLD CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE” AKA ESCALATIONS DEPT. will not return my calls, several have been made! They have been paid in full and they stole my money!!! It’s been 5 months since the original damaged door was installed & still nothing!!! NEVER, NEVER USE MESA GARAGE DOOR!!! I will say.. that the answering service people are friendly.

I’d cut my workday short to facilitate a estimate.Which by the way lwas confirmed via text message two days prior. After a call to find out why they where a no show I set a new appointment for Tuesday the next week. Another no show.Judging by their failure just to show up, I’d not want to put a dime in their pockets. I have a business of my own and the one thing my clients value above all is commitment and punctuality.

Generally a shoddy operation and expensive. The $750 doors are not in stock and take 8 weeks to get. But the $2500 doors are in stock and ready to go! What a coincidence. They woo you with a sales pitch then after you pay them its radio silence when you have problems. Make sure they balance your door after they install. They didnt do mine and like I said, they refuse to answer my inquiries since Ive paid them. The installers rush, hack theyre way through and are sloppy. 1/5 stars is pretty common if you read through the comments. Think twice with these guys.

The worst garage company I have encountered.1. They delivered wrong gate, so we refused it. Then we have to wait 2 more months before the correct one installed. - Never apologize for any inconvenience that they have caused.2. The day of the installation, their technician arrived 2 hours late and did not finish the job. The technician mentioned that they will come back tomorrow at 9 am. No one showed up. When I called the company again, they said there is no schedule for the technician to show up that day. And the phone rep said that I provide false information. Basically, the phone rep accused me of lying and making up the story that the technician told me they will be back the next day at 09:00 am. I tried to move forward, and spoke to the supervisor. I got rescheduled for the following week on Tuesday, between 08:00 am - 10:00 am.3. Next Tuesday, I wait and I wait, no one showed up. I called again, and they said because I never called them to confirm, they did not schedule the technician. I was upset at that point that Mesa continued to blame us when the screw up continue to come from their end. So I got rescheduled again for the next day, Wednesday.4. On Wednesday, the technician finished the installation but did not install the keypad that was promised. I called again and spoke to the manager, Markus Guerrero. I sent him a copy of the work order that includes the keypad from their estimator 662. He still do not want to honor it. He was arrogant and denied even though I sent him the proof (see pictures in the attachment) So I said, I will not pay the remainder of the balance, until the keypad install. Markus threaten me with legal action, and I could not care less at this point. I have the service order in writing.Through out this whole ordeal, not once any of the rep apologize for all the inconvenience that they have caused us. This is a very disgusting company run by disgusting people. Not recommended. You have been warned.

The installation of our garage door was scheduled for today. No one came. It is 3:30 p.m. and we have called Mesa about 12 times today, having the great pleasure of being on hold for 35 minutes each time. They have promised to call back, but no one has called including the supervisors. We have already paid a deposit and they have already cashed the check. I guess we should have read the reviews before purchasing. Not happy to say the least.

I am a service pro and have had mixed experiences with this office . They a eager when it comes to getting a estimate and sale, but after that communication is totally lacking. I have to spend hours waiting for the them to even pick there phones . They have a answered service that says they will leave your messages to a black hole.I have been left in the dark about when there installation crew will show up . Everything after the sale is done by text and they blame missed appointments to all kinds of problem . I have been sitting on hold for 55 minutes after being transferred tp installation dept. No one is responsible for anything other than I didn’t get the message or I am sorry . When they have inventory issues they don’t tell you they will reschedule. I had to call and wait on hold just to be hung up on after they answered. Terrible experience, I gave them plenty of chances and had install 3 doors on 2 different locations . Think twice before using them unless you want a long ordeal . Would have gladly plnow paid for a smaller company that cares .

What Terrible Service! I have a house I bought 5 years ago where the previous owners installed Mesa garage doors (one 2-car & one 1-car door) in 2012. My 1-Car door has two lower panels that have been dented and I wanted to replace them. I had another company come out (before I knew they were Mesa doors) and the technician was thorough, polite, and knowledgeable but, he apologized that he couldnt help me because I had Mesa doors who will not sell parts to a third party. They set up a monopoly on aftermarket service on their doors. I sent two requests on Mesas website giving them all the info (including part/model numbers the other tech was able to find)... No response. I sent two regular emails with the same info... No response. I saw their website had a scheduling feature so I scheduled an appointment for 8 AM this morning and got no less than three machine generated confirmations... No show. So I called. The phone bank operator (dont even think youll talk to a real Mesa employee) at first called me by the previous homeowners name and told me I wasnt in their system. Then she said they called yesterday on my cell phone to reschedule. No chance! I had my cell with me all day and they never called and there is no record in recents of any call. Once we got everything straightened out she looked up my door info and, after all the gymnastics I went through just getting a response, she said they were no longer making matches to doors from 2012 and I would have to buy not only the 1-car door but the 2-car door to have a matching set. Not even the slightest hint or acknowledgement of their horrific lack of response. Im never rude to phone operators (I know these things are usually out of their control), but I told her that, given the situation, it was such a pleasure to tell Mesa Garage Doors: Youre Fired! If I do buy a new set of doors, Id crawl over broken glass before I gave ANY business to Mesa.

They came out to my sons house to give an estimate for a replacement of a garage door opener. $1000.00 for the garage door opener and labor. Told 3 hour job and the best Stanley garage door opener at home depot is 264.00 so $700.00 for 3 hours labor? But yet they will see and install a new garage door for less than $800.00. Never call Mesa out unless you want to be taken advantage of. We will replace the garage door go out to eat a great dinner with both families and not come close to $500.00

If you like to waste time this is the company for you!! I have been in the service industry for over 25 years and have never written a review on anything before. However with the lack of customer service I have received from Mesa Garage Door and the Management to get simple repair done I am compelled to warn anyone out there that may think that this is the company for you. I agree with one reviewer that states they are great at getting the sale and then abandoning you after that.I have reached out several time to several of there department and have been promised days of service (which I waited around and no one ever shows and when you call they seem to no know why) and Call backs from management. NONE HAVE EVERY HAPPENED OVER THE LAST 2 MONTHS OF WORKING TO GET THIS RESOLVED.I am now forced to drive to there office and hopefully (not holding my breath) get someone who cares enough about their company and their company values to do something. Like all of us I am busy and probably could have bought 4 Garage doors for the hours (my and your time is money too) I have wasted with the company.

Installed a premium door several years ago, bells and whistle and all, overall was happy with the product and the service but it was on the pricer side of the the spectrum especially for the garage door opener, and the Gold/platinum package (insulated door, etc). Two years ago, the deadbolt on the garage failed, a tech came by told me to disregard it and it wasnt necessary and basically overkill. Yesterday I noticed the garage door was open, and that the controller stopped working, called, was told next day appointment. Today I got a tech, said it needed to be replaced. He quoted $250 ($150 for the replacement remote and $100 for the labor). The remote unit sells for $38 on Amazon, and $48 from another online store that works in the same industry, So Mesas markup is horrendous, I found that out after the button was installed, so in theory this job should have been about $100 bucks total ($50 for the part and 10 min labor at another %50, similar to 0.5 hour charge at a mechanic), not the original 250 quoted. Also, I live in a beach community so that did not help the pricing at all. The tech offered ten percent off, and did a few things like program the car remote, and provide a spare remote and I was later informed that the deadbolt that was removed by the previous tech allowed the garage to be open by anyone if it was in manual mode. When I asked to speak to a manager about the price gouging after learning the real cost of the part, the tech started texting as I was on speaker in front of the tech, while the manager was starting to understand, and as the tech was texting her voice started to change, basically there seemed to be a side conversation going on with the tech and the office via text - so in laymans terms - Rooster blocked. This companys integrity and quality of customer service is definitely going down. Maybe its Covid, I get things have been hard but still a 300% mark up on a remote? Theres a slew of complaints now from the pricy service. You feel that theres some predatory practices, owner is stuck between a rock and hard spot so lets take advantage of them, garage door is not closing, and opening, home is located in a beach community. They will pay more. Guys, go back to the Company that you guys used to be. It will do you better. The tech was good, and even gave a complimentary remote. Thats why Im giving this 2 stars and not one. No excuse for price gauging!

The worst customer service that I have ever experienced! Read some of the reviews, and realized that we have similar experiences. They came out and installed my garage door. And, because we needed to move everything to the back of the garage for them to do their install, I had to wait until I could get someone to help me to place the boxes back to the sides of the garage so I could put my car in. Subsequent, my car will not fit back in the garage without the door closing on my trunk! I called to get this problem rectified, and the first technician that came out, measured and said that they would have to come back. As he explained the problem to his “boss” on the phone, they said I needed a conversion kit...another $300. I argued, but decided to pay because I need to get my car in the garage. The next technician who came was supposed to come out to put the conversion kit on. He looked at it, and said that I needed a new one piece door, period! He spoke to Vanessa again, and she just told me the same thing that the technician had explained. Set up ANOTHER appointment. This time Vanessa said that she would call me on Friday to let me know when the technician would come on Tuesday....no call. No one showed up! I called to speak to Vanessa, and she was never available...meetings, lunch, just not available. I left her many messages, voicemail and she will never get back to you! Finally got her today on the phone, and she promised that she’d call me back in 30 minutes! She has NOT returned my call, and when I called and asked to speak to her, it went to voicemail. These people are a joke I scheduled an appointment and took the day offwork during the week Mesa sent me several text and e-mail messages reminding me of the appointment. They never showed up. I called them and they told my that my area only has appointments at a certain day in the week. Why ws I not informed of this? They lied I would not trust this sorry company.

STAY AWAY:Informed the phone representative that i had a cracked panel and wanted a price to replace it, she then scheduled an appointment and was given a time. I then received a text informing me that i would be contacted 30 min before arrival. On the scheduled day, 15 minutes before the end of the appointment window i called mesa because i was still waiting for their call. They could not contact the field representative. Finally i got the call at the very end of my appointment window. Since i had to leave for work i told the field rep it was to late. I then asked tge rep about a new panel and he informed me that would only be possible if mesa had installed it and it was no older that 10 years. Neither of whichnis the case. He added that he was delayed because of his morning was filled with lengthy repairs.TAKE AWAYS:1) The appointment representative could have told me about the age / installer limitation when i called, it certainly affects my decision. Going with Mesa for me would be a whole new door.2) since my time is just as valuable as their time, they should not over book their feild representatives.3) i thought i was waiting for a sales representative but in fact was waiting for a sales/repair representative, this dual role means the time quoted cannot be guaranteed- ever, which was my experience.

I had a appointment with Mesa on 11/28/ 2020. One of the guy came his name Sam. As on his business card his position is Area Manager. He gave me a quotation for new garage door $1300. He asked deposit, I gave him $100. Cash and he gave me a receipt. He scheduled to fix my door on 12/08/2020.But asked him to come 12/10/2020. He rescheduled for 12/11/2020.I was waited until 1.30pm on 12/11/2020. When they are late, I just call the Mesa office they said they didn’t get my order( Sam didn’t submit the paperwork). Then I told who answered my phone call,” It’s ok I’m gonna find a another vendor. “ I called “First Garage door and Gates “They charge lesser than Mesa quotation. I met a Mesa Garage door Office Clark in Anahiem office and I reported them that incident and asked my money back on 01/06/2021. They said they gonna check and refund my deposit back. But until today I didn’t receive my money back.

This is the most unprofessional business that I have ever dealt with. They have called me five times to supposedly come out and fix the problem with my garage door. I have to ask for a day off at work and they never show up! This is the 5th time this has happen. They never bothered to let me know they could not make it. I called them and they keep you on hold forever. They never returned the promised call. This has been going on for six months. Basically they dont care to waste your time or help you with any issue that you have. I really dont know how this business survives. Never use this Company because you will be very disappointed.

Had measurements done December 17th, 2020. My original appointment for installation date was January 5th, 2021. I called to reschedule for a weekend, and was told my next availability would set on January 30th, 2021. Didnt want anything fancy, or electrical. Total cost with haul away, single-open virtical manual garage door cost $865.00. Our springs to our garage door were corroded, and broken. Mesa Garage Doors charge extra money to break them down for you. We had no choice, because it was too heavy for me or my family to uninstall, and haul away our old garage door. We were quoted a window frame for our installation between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (PST). Mesa Garage Door installer arrived at 12:30 pm and completed the installation at 4:30 pm. Im super surprised it was only one man doing all the work! Overall, Im pretty satisfied with the job. We just needed a whole new garage door and new assembly. Thanks Mesa.

January 19, 2021Mr. Dwight EsnardPresidentMesa Garage Doors4915 E Hunter AveAnaheim, CA 92807RE: Proposal 823405Dear Mr. Esnard:I would like to take this opportunity to share my experiences with your company, Mesa Garage Doors. The following is in chronological order.November 12, 2020 - This was our first appointment with a salesman. I took off work in order to meet his for our estimate. After waiting until after the time estimated for his arrival, I telephoned Mesa and was only then informed that the employee had called in sick. I then scheduled an appointment for the next day and had to take more time off work. Why didnt Mesa call me and inform me of the no show and to reschedule?November 13, 2020 - Met with Sam Chittendon and received an estimate and an install date. Made a change to the order for an additional garage door opener.December 4, 2020 - Our install was scheduled from 12 noon to 4 pm. At 4:20 pm, I called Mesa and asked where our installer was. I was told he wasnt going to make it and we were pushed to December 5, 2020.December 5, 2020 - Installers came and wanted to build down. We did not like the looks of that so the installer took new measurements, contacted Mesa on speaker phone and we were all informed that we would have to order custom doors. We okd the order.December 30, 2020 - Contacted Mesa again to schedule the delivery of the new custom ordered doors. We were scheduled for today.January 19, 2021 - The installer showed up, took measurements, removed our door and the told us that we would have to have a build down. I said no we didnt want a build down and we again had a speaker phone call with your office. Only now were we informed that the door cannot be made in a 73 size. We told the installer to put our door back on. After some time, I heard a honk from the alley. It was your installer. I said I needed to see if the doors still worked properly. He told me that I had to put the sensors back on and he sped off while I was yelling WAIT.First, I have spent many, many hours waiting for salesmen, installers and many more hours on hold with that obnoxious guitar music.Second, I am shocked at how inefficient your company is run. No one knows what anyone else is doing. No one knows the product, not even your salesmen. Which brings me to the point of your salesman.Sam Crittendon was great up until the problems began. I have texted him and emailed him over and over again and he has disappeared. Apparently, as we were informed just today, he was supposed to contact us for the ordering of the custom door. That never happened. In conclusion, I have heard you on KFI for years and have purchased two doors from you in the past. I will never do business with your company again and I will recount my experiences with KFI and spread it far and wide on social media. I have never been so frustrated and spent so much wasted time dealing with any business. Please contact me if you need clarification on any of the above.Sincerely,//S//Elizabeth Vozzella

Was wondering why Mesa had such poor yelp reviews and I just found out.Initial installation and quote process were ok. Installation I would give a four star because they didnt install lightbulbs in the garage motor. Turns out the lightbulbs required are fairly specific. We have burned out all the bulbs that have been put in as we had no guidance that they have to be a specific type and watt.Heres where the 1 star review takes place. Ive had this garage for about a year. My gardner made a small dent (pictured).Over the phone they tell me it should be $400-$500 to replace one panel. They tell me I dont need to be home and they will send someone. I come home to a note that they cant quote till they see the inside of the garage.Rescheduled with them and just had someone out that is saying it will be $2,100 (more than I initially paid for garage w/ motor) they were kind enough to discount down to $1,617.52 after I told them how angry I am.If anyone from Mesa reads this I would love for your team to honor your verbal commitment you made over the phone for $400 - $500.

Had a great experience with them 20 years ago. Now, the worst customer service Ive ever experienced.First person who showed up for a quote was nearly 2 hours late. When he arrived, he had no interest in selling us a door. He stood in our driveway, asked us for the dimensions of the door he stood in front of, and asked for specific details on the door we wanted. Im sorry, doesnt a salesman bring a booklet with options? We asked him to leave and moved on.Almost a year later, we stupidly decided to give them another chance based on prior good service. This time, when the incredibly unapologetic rep booked our appointment for a new quote, she booked the wrong day. We werent alerted until 8pm the night prior to our 8am quote that it had been moved to a day later. All I can say is Im thankful they showed they are uninterested in my business before they got any of my money.TL:DR: Trust the negative reviews. This was once a great company, but they no longer care if you are taken care of in even the simplest of ways.

Would give ZERO stars if we could.Horrible experience with this company! Had a tech come out to check our garage door. Said he could fix it but that it would cost $200. Fine, no problem. After the tech left, my husband was still not happy with the outcome so called them back and they had the tech come back out. He came out but he didn’t know what to do to fix it...so basically he didn’t do anything on the 2nd visit. My husband called back again and asked that they send someone else out, to which they did however, it took some arguing back and forth...the tech shows up and is a different guy than the first one but immediately says ‘oh I’m not touching that door, the garage floor is not level...that’s the issue.’ So my husband said ‘fine, then give us back the $200 we originally paid if you guys can’t fix it. Why did you guys take the money if it’s not something you can fix?’ The guy said you have to calm the office. So he calls and the lady he spoke with had horrible customer service, rude and not even willing to try and resolve the issue and come to some type of agreement. He asked to speak to someone of a higher position and she told him no. Don’t do business with this place!! They do not stand behind their work!!

I will preface this with our garage door finally died and would not open. The opener has been dead for some time, but the actual door finally gave out. We have used Mesa Garage Doors In the past, with no complaints and have even referred them to neighbors, friends, and family. That being said I was comfortable having them come out and replace the door and opener as we need to have access to the garage. However I will NEVER USE MESA GARAGE DOORS AGAIN!!We had a manager (Greg) out to complete estimate, during the meeting, Greg (The manager) advised he would need a clear space for his technicians to work. I advised I would have the required area clear, however, I would be unable to move the pool table as it was too heavy to move alone. The pool table is in the center of the garage, however the actually opener is to the right of the table and could be worked around. Greg advised that his technicians would not need the pool table moved as they could work around it without a problem. Please also keep in mind the pool table has a thick cover on and around it to prevent it from being damaged. After the price was agreed upon, I ordered our new garage door and opener and had an install date of 4/21. My family and I cleared the area required by Mesa to complete the work. On 4/20 at 456PM I received a voicemail saying my installation date had been postponed until 4/28. This was 4 minuets before the (reasonably argued end of day). The reason for the delay was the door had not arrived at Mesa with their shipment and was back ordered. Apparently they dont check the shipping manifest before they unload the truck and or provide notification to customers until convenient for them. Meaning I could have been notified earlier then 456PM and would not have had to take 2 hours off of work to clear the area. I called the office manager Cynthia who advised this was not their problem as the door was delayed and they were not responsible for that per their contract. I requested to be contacted on 4/27 to ensure the installation would take place on 4/28 as I would now have to move everything back into the garage and then back out again on 4/27 and did not want to risk the chance of the door being delayed again. On 4/27 at roughly 415PM I had to call Mesa to confirm my install date and time as they failed to do so. I was told that my installation time was between 10am-2PM.On 4/28 the technicians showed up and refused to do the work saying the pool table was in the way and they would not work around it. I spoke with the technicians and a manager (nameless) on the phone, who said they would not install the door, unless the pool table was removed. I explained to both the manager and the technician that Greg had approved the work to be done without moving theI WILL NEVER AGAIN GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS, NOR REFER THEM TO ANYONE. This has been an absolute joke as far as Mesa Garage Doors reliability and customer service

This is by far the worse company I have ever done business with. I custom ordered a very expensive door from Mesa. Less than a year the cable is frayed and the wheels bent. The cable is just seconds from breaking. I called for service to let them know the cable is about to break and the wheel is bent. Vanessa is the girl that handles warranty issues. It’s been a month now and I have to schedule with my Tennat to take off work and meet their tech. They will schedule and never show up. They never call to let you know they are not coming. I call for hours trying to get ahold of anybody that can help and it always the run around. I leave 30 messages and never get one phone call back from this company nor Vanessa. After days of calling we reschedule and they don’t show up again. This has happen at least 10 times. They finally send a Chris their tech to come fix the door and he says he doesn’t have the parts and someone will call. This company will never call and it says of calling again to reschedule for them to not show up again and again. After a month they finally send a guy out and he says they need to make a new door. He says it to wide. This company does not replace the frayed cable and leaves it to break. It’s a very dangerous situation if this cable breaks and falls on a person or a very expensive car. I have called and left messages for all types of management. I have called and left the owner Dwight Esnard to call me back and he will not even call back. This company advertises they are veteran owned and operated. They promised to take care of their veterans. Is this how our American made comoany really treats their veterans? Don’t NOT buy anything from this company. Their customer service is by far worse than any company I have ever dealt with.

It won’t stop beeping, it pops open and won’t close, and shows errors on its keypad that no one showed me how to work. I called and asked for someone to come fix it but they claim they “don’t have anyone in the area to fix it until Monday”! Really? Have someone drive here and stand behind your product!!!! It beeps continuously 24 hours a day! I installed the new door because my house is up for sale. Prospective buyers are unsettled by a garage door that won’t stop beeping that is supposed to be new. Years ago, we used Mesa and had a great experience. I dont know if they have gotten bigger and have lost quality in the process, but we contracted with them to do doors at our new house in August. By October, we were still waiting to hear about when our doors would be installed, and were told it would be another 6-8 weeks. Turns out they didnt order it or do it correctly. We asked to cancel and for a refund, which they AGREED to do....but now over 8 weeks later, still no refund!!!! I call all the time and they keep saying the refund is being processed, but nothing happens...I get no calls back from anyone with information. Id give them a zero if I could! The people I speak with when I call are nice and honestly embarrassed that its taking the Accounting department this long....so I give them a 4 for their attitudes, but the accounting department and upper management deserve a negative number! I wouldnt recommend anyone to use this company!!!

2nd time Ive used Mesa; 1 time complete install, very happy. 2nd time, replaced everything except the door itself in 2019. Invoice was dated back to 2004 and again this work was done in 2019. Called 5 times and they will not respond. I paid cash and have the written receipt with the wrong date of the 2004 installation, and it says a 10 year warrantee with no certificate reflecting it. I cant even read this written receipt. The tech was the one that gave me the price which I found uncomfortable since I would think it would be the company representative giving the price. Who knows if what I paid is accurate having paid cash. Should I not get this resolved I will take a ride out to Anaheim and beat down their door to get someone to address what they did to me. I was in construction for 30 years and referred countless customers to them. I would never refer them to anyone else. Dont believe their radio advertising. Its BS.
