Cozy relaxed environment. Enjoyed the nostalgic brewery feel with all the barrels and decor around. They had a decent selection of beers. Tried their Flying brick IPA which was tasty. The bar food was also pretty good, especially their pizza.The bartenders were very nice and accommodating. I called to reserve for a small party and they had the seating set aside for us by the time we showed up. If you are in the area, would definitely recommend.
I was here the night before the governor declared all bars and restaurants to be closed because of the coronavirus. I felt so sad for them.The place gave me mixed vibes. When I entered, it felt spooky (hence, their name). The decor in the lobby/bathroom area was on point.After you get past the first two rooms, the place is spacious and has a more chill vibe. They have a stack of board games for their patrons. Their list of beers is on the wall. My favorite was the Lily Tai. If you check in on yelp, you get $2 off a food item if you purchase a pint. Among the food I tried, the chicken mac n cheese was the best. I had the sliders, but they were on the dry side. Their buns are made of pizza dough! Others in my group said the fries were good.The tables are long and organized almost like bio lab. Its hard to have a really large group together because one table seats maybe 10-12 people max.
Very pleasant environment- plenty of T.V.s to watch, friendly and mellow patrons and employees. Fun melange decor of a ghoul display, bar, forklift, brewery paraphernalia, California Flag, award ribbons, cement floors, and green wired lights illuminating the ceiling insulation. I also struck up a conversation with a patron who was refilling his beer kegs for his home kegorator. When I left the main room I was surprised to find a vast assortment of items for home brewing.
This is by far the best food I have had on any brewery, beer is also amazing but the food just hits different. I can tell here is a lot of passion there. I would recommend to everyone and will come back every weekend for sure. Very fast and polite service too.
This place is very hidden. While driving to the location at night I almost thought I had the wrong address. Im glad I found it and experienced this brewery/restaurant. This location has a hipster vibe but everyone is real friendly. The two males working the bar were phenomenal. They were both so kind and welcoming. The food and alcohol slushies were delicious. I had a small pepperoni pizza. I quoted small because it was anything but small. The quality of the pizza was amazing if I lived closer I would visit more often. Next time Im in town I will definitely be visiting and having another slushie to go with my pizza.
Wow... this place was a great find for me! The we had pizza, pulled pork nachos and fries with a flight of their beer. The food was AMAZING! The beer was good too. Great atmosphere and a great small brewery with food. Plus they opened at 12 on a weekday.
I love this place. Every beer that I tried is a gold winner. The phantom phog was my favorite but it was a had choice. Love the small brewery environment. We ordered a pizza and it was fantastic..... The other food I saw come out looked amazing as well?Like the many great micro breweries Ive visited, the location is obscure. But it is all about the beer!But dont be discouraged by the lack of parking and the weird entry as it is worth the experience!

Do not go here for supplies. Came in and found only one employee and they knew absolutely zero about brewing which is saying a lot since Im new to it. They couldnt even answer a simple question for me, wasted trip. Maybe the food and beer is good but go elsewhere for supplies.
I have been here multiple times.the parking lot is not to big so it can fill up really fast. Phantom has a great selection of beers and ciders. I love the juice jockey when they have it, one of the best beers Ive ever had. The food is also great I love to get the beef poutine the pizza is really good. Always have a great time here.

I enjoyed a BBQ bacon cheeseburger with some frys and a adult beverage.The cheeseburger was served on a toasted house baked bun and the burger was cooked with just enough juices to make it truly delicious.Always great food here.

This is an awesome Microbrewery, they have a variety of brewed beers ranging from 4.5 to 13.6 alcohol by volume. They have wine, cider, and yes mead(if you like that kind of drink). They have a great little kitchen that serves good food and while you drink and eat you can play some of the old school board games like battleship. Want to take some beer home, grab yourself a 32 or 64 oz Growler at very cheap price.You guys read my reviews all the time so you know if I dont like a place, there is no way in hell I would recommend you go there. This place you will enjoy!
I was very happily surprised by this place. The decor and ambiance are very unique when you walk in. Really nails the phantom feel. 8 Year old daughter This place is creepy told me they nailed it.Parking is a bit tight, but there is plenty of street available close to the entrance. I would say the place could accommodate around 50 or so folks.The main room is not unlike any other brewery. They also have a store for anything you need to craft your own at home brews. TVs are set around to watch a game.I am not a cider guy, but I tried the Dew cider and it was delicious. Light, crisp, and just the right amount of sweet.Nice selection of IPAs, Hazy, Lagers, Stout, Brown, something I think anyone would like no matter their preference. They also had a few meads available that I will need to go back and try.Food menu selection is very unique. They make their own bread which is absolutely delicious. Like, Id go there just for the bread. I had the steak beer cheese sliders. The steak was nice and tender and flavorful and the beer cheese was a perfect compliment. Daughter had chicken fingers which are marinated in butter milk and ranch, then lightly breaded and fried. I didnt think it was possible to improve on chicken fingers but they did.Talking to the chef, I have to go back for the pizza. They make their own dough on site as well.Summary, this place sets a new bar for breweries. The selection of ales, ciders, meads will satisfy anyone, but the food was not something I would have expected in a brewery. Its like gourmet food truck quality stuff. Ill be back for sure.
If you are looking for a brewery that cares as much about its food as its beer, this is it. I had the Oatmeal Stout and the Pacific Fusion IPA and both were perfect. Very balanced beers that hit the right notes. The vibe of the restaurant/bar is very casual. Relaxed atmosphere with a focus on the actual food and drink. Very impressed.

Everything is great except for the Mac & cheese which is bland and $10 for a very small bowl. Portions are generally on the smaller side.
Very cool spot. Great environment, excellent beer and the food is pretty dang good. We had the pulled pork fries and the sweet pig pizza with jalapeños. Flying Brick IPA is tasty and hits the spot. I would recommend this for anyone that enjoys craft beer and good food. Well be back, no doubt about it.
Amazing place to grab some really great beers. I love IPAs and Stouts and they have them in double and imperial for affordable full pour prices. I was impressed!

In my opinion, this is by far, the best craft brewery in this area. Bottle Logic staff is uneducated and very rude at times. The Bruery beers are a little too different for me but not a bad spot overall. The difference for me is the highly knowledgeable staff and the fact they go above and beyond to make sure that every customer is well taken care of. It is also a more homely vibe. They wont take more people than they can comfortably take care of with the utmost respect. I highly respect the owner and the staff here and have learned so much about proper customer service, in general, through them. The beer is way above average and most in line to my pallet. The Keg prices here are exceptional and I keep three of their kegs in my home kegerator. The food from their kitchen is really really good. If youre ever in the area, stop by and give these guys a try. You wont be disappointed.Cheers! -J

Came in during happy hour. Tried the Cranberry Pomegranate Mead, Sir Alec, and Passion Fruit Hef. All tasted great. That mead though is delicious. Tadte like youre drinking juice, so be careful as it could creep up on you. Their food menu looks legit too. Also, kid friendly with board games to keep them occupied. Overall, would definitely be back.
Beer was good, as always. However, I was a little put off by the fact that staff were not wearing face masks and rarely did I observe them sanitizing high-touch surfaces nor even their hands. Maybe they just need more time to adjust. Its just tough to make decisions on whom to patronize when other local breweries seem to be more proactive with these safeguards.
This place had a cool vibe and the staff is super friendly. Their trivia is also a lot of fun. The beer was disappointing, Im sad to say. Im a big stout drinker and the only stout they had tasted like a pale ale. I tried the brown and felt like it tasted exactly the same. Hoping to come back someday to better flavors because the atmosphere was awesome!
I absolutely love this place! Theres always at least one mead on tap, and everything on the menu is delicious. Besides that, everyone always makes me feel like family, every time I go.

Remarkable selection of fantastic brews!! Like every single one was out of this world. I would HIGHLY recommend checking them out. You can even do a quick 3 brewery tour with bottle logic and brewery X all within walking distance.

I used to love this place, but twice, on two separate days, we watched as cooks delivered food to guests without a mask on. In a pandemic, some businesses are not even allowed to open, and it is disgusting and irresponsible for a food venue to be serving food with the cooks not even properly wearing safety measures. If you value your health and dont want to catch COVID, dont eat here.

Thanks to yelp for introducing this place. It’s a cozy place with lovely staff almost in the middle of nowhere! You won’t notice you’re gonna step into a cool place until the moment you see casks of beer in the corner of the bar. I asked the bartender to give me a set of samples of his favorite beers and I loved his taste! Food is also good and all prices are fair!

Great draft selection, but it gets so busy that its often times standing room only.Im not a huge beer drinker, but my friends certainly are so we usually take the time to look for breweries in the area. We were recommended to Phantom Ales by a friend and were not disappointed.They do have an offer where you can get $2 off an appetizer with a purchase of a pint, so I took full advantage of such and ordered their buffalo wings and later on throughout the night the onion rings as well. Quality of food is great. Everything is made to order so it comes out hot and fresh and is a perfect appetizer for sharing (or not).Some of my choice selections include the passion fruit and mango cider, the sour cherry mead, plumbers crack, and the Octavius IPA. For high alcoholic content I recommend the sour cherry mead (13%) and the plumbers crack (16%). Honorable mentions include the apple cider and the peardon mead.The bartenders here are very nice, but the female bartender is often forgetful. On both occasions I had to ask for a number for my food order and another time she assumed I ordered an additional appetizer when I really didnt.Phantom Ales has a traditional brewery layout with warehouse lighting and some nice phantom/grim reaper decor throughout. I did enjoy the various board games they had, and we profited from the jumbo Jenga pieces.Overall, I would certainly recommend coming here even if youre not a huge beer drinker like myself. It is a little hard to find, as most breweries typically are, but it is certainly worth the trouble.
Found this place almost 5 years ago. Still one of the best craft breweries around Orange County. Dare I say, even LA. I highly recommend Phantom Ales to anyone, no matter what your beer preference is.

I like the fact the location is tucked off of the beaten path and close to my house! The brew supplies is a big bonus for me because I dont have to drive far to get my supplies or order them online. Great beers and great food. Can occasionally get busy but has good turn around. Only negative I can think of is the parking. Ive never seen it full up but its like 7 stalls. Just uber and youll be fine

I wish it were a big bigger, but it does so many things right the way it is. The 1/2 lb burgers are so juice and delicious. The beers are great (especially the coffee flavored ones and meads) and the service is friendly. What else could you possibly need?!
This is one of my favorite brewerys. Very friendly and helpful staff, descent food and good selection of beers. One of the few places featuring Meads and Ciders. My girl friend love the cranberry pomegranate Mead, there best seller. Highly recommend checking it out!

Really nice people working here. they were curious to know if it was our first time and it was! they told us about happy hour when the Angels baseball team plays and you wear a shirt/hat you get a dollar off your beer (or something like that) the beer was good! IPA is definitely worth the try.

Fun spot in an industrial park. Good beer selection, and good pub food. The location is kind of out of the way, but if youre in the area, you should 100% check it out.
Phantom Ales has a bunch of different beer, some of which are not for me. Their IPAs were really good though. The food was amazing too, they have prime rib sliders that are amazing. Pulled pork fries were good as well. The best part was the service, its a small spot but they are really friendly here.
The staff is very friendly and they do serve food, which is something the other breweries in the area do not offer. They always brew in small quantities, so they try lots of different styles and have a good selection of beers and ciders. Unfortunately, they do run out of some of their beers and it may be a while before they serve that beer again. For home brewers, they also have a brewing supply shop with a good selection of malt, hops, yeast, and equipment.

Great ambiance and atmosphere! Phantom Ales has a down-to-earth feel - when we visited, the brew master was casually walking about and chatting with a few of the locals. We learned what type of hops they put in their mead as well as the scotch ale they were brewing up for the day. Not necessarily baby/toddler-friendly (there are no high chairs and the seating is all high-tops with stools), but you can certainly bring a high chair traveler. Also, for the older kids, they have a ton of board games to keep everyone entertained.
Favorite place. I have problems with gluten so i always get the Cranberry Pomegranate Mead! So delicious. The staff is amazing, the girls up front and the guy, i think his name is john, are the absolute best. They are so kind and if they see you waiting for a table they will notice you and help out without asking. I reccomend this place to everyone, they do occasional comedy shows i think on Wednesdays, which was a pleasant surprise when i took my friend here for her birthday and we ended up staying for the show. Also the food is suprisingly bomb! Shout out to the kitchen. The area is weird but low key so i love it.

This place is easy to miss. It is surrounds by warehouses so be on the look out. I really like the vibe of this place. It is a brewery but also serves food and drinks. We were lucky to have gotten to happy hour and I believe it was a dollar off drinks and appetizer. You should check what it is now. Anyways the bartender was quick to get us our drinks and food. The food wasnt too bad, it was very delicious and had a lot of flavor. The selection of alcohol is diversed so you will find something you will like, they have anything from dark beers to light beers to ciders. They do have some interesting flavors of ciders, I had the hibiscus and it had an interesting taste that was smooth and definitely enjoyed it. If you want to watch sports they do have tvs so dont be worries. If you want to play some games they also have some. Great place to decompress and have a beer.
